Day 7 of [ELITISIM'S 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS ADVENT EXTRAVAGANZA!] is all about swimwear sets for the whole family*!**(except for teens and elders because genuinely who cares about those life states tbh.)

and god the way you take care of simon lots!! make a new skincare routine for you and simon when simon’s back from deployment. the two of you end up smelling like peach and cotton candy, soft skin and glossy lips.

or just the way you spoil your kitten. buying mittens (your cat) little soft jumpers for winter or new chokers that don’t jingle because the vet told you that mittens’ ears are sensitive.

𝔒𝔯𝔭𝔥𝔢𝔲𝔰 𝔈𝔶𝔢𝔰 . Non-Default Eyes for your simmies.

@saruin has been a huge inspiration to me as a simmer and previously, I've ported some of their eyes to non-default versions for myself and others to use.

Now, inspired by saruin's work, I've handpainted and coloured a set of eyes that my friends have encouraged me to share with the world. Honestly, these eyes have overtaken all of my sims and I'm so so proud to be sharing something I made myself from scratch. I really hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.

These eyes run the gamut of colours from basic greens and greys to fruit gummies, galactic inspired, and all inbetween. I love a ton of variety in my eye colours so there should be something for everybody in this eye set.

Shoutout to my lovely simming friend @marzipaneavocado for taking the beautiful preview pics for me!

Me: Hasn't played TS4 in *checks notes* too long.

Click on EA app launcher

Need to update game (I swear I could play daily and still have to update each time I open the app launcher. Tried putting it into 'Play offline' mode several times and it keeps reverting back to needing to log in and be online so I just gave up fighting it)

Remove Mods, Saves, etc like a good little sims modder before updating

Wait forever for game to update

Launch

Exit

Add Mods, Saves, etc back where they belong

Launch

First issue spotted (I have a custom load theme and the plumbob in the center of the screen was flashing)

No biggie

Exit game

Remove entire game from EA folder and relaunch game to 'reinstall without reinstalling'

Things are normal

Take Resource.cfg from new Mods folder and use it to overwrite the old one (because it's usually an issue of that particular folder not playing nice)

Launch (for the umpteenth time)

Game thinks I've recently redownloaded about $500 worth of exspansion/packs/kits (don't @ me. I bought everything I own when it was on sale and at the time it was still lockdown and I was doing pretty cozy in the cash dept)

Cue a million 'Welcome to' intros for each and every expansion/pack/kit I own (it took over half a minute of me repeatedly hitting esc)

Decide to go to CAS, because I love playing in CAS

cupcake galore! 🧁

presenting the first challenge; cupcake baking! i had all the ladies bake cupcakes and the contestant who had the highest price and quality will be the winner! most of them were only able to make vanilla cupcakes 🙈

cora and francesca were able to make carrot cake cupcakes (level 3) while larissa could bake the butterscotchman! (level 4) eventhough larissa’s butterscotchman cupcakes were the highest level and also the most expensive among the contestants, she lost in terms of quality with her cupcakes only being normal compared to the second highest score, cora and larissa’s carrot cake cupcakes.

in the end, it’s a tie between cora and francesca who both had excellent quality cupcakes that sold for $13 respectively 🙂‍↕️
