I watched this scene so many times that I don't even need subtitles for it anymore. Seeing this beast of a man essentially reduced to tears because of Sibel's message will never not be glorious.
And what does he do after the initial moment of utter shock and unspeakable joy? He snaps into focus, goes home, changes into a suit and tie, pays a visit to Mazhar and Şerif and lies to them through his teeth, having already set Yıldırım's downfall in motion.
Absolutely iconic.

My favorite sequence in the whole show, Ramo finding out Sibel is alive.

Confession time: this was in fact the scene that determined me to watch the show. I knew bits and pieces about the plot thanks to my Twitter mutuals, and I also knew about Sibel's fake death, so at one point I searched on YouTube out of curiosity to see how Ramo reacted upon finding out she was alive.
Needless to say, I was in awe. The raw emotion that radiates from absolutely every moment! I think it's probably my most watched scene in the entire show. Everything about it is pure perfection.

I think this may be my favorite scene in the show so far - I’ve rewatched it five times. Ramo organizes a hit squad and is about to go to his death this evening when he gets a message and it’s Sibel, during her aborted escape - the smart woman took the phone of the guard she brained and called Ramo asap since she knows he will go insane - to tell him she is alive and kidnapped by Mahsar.
The way he just falls on his knees and starts sobbing and sobbing and sobbing. And then he keeps listening to her message over and over and over and over as if he’s terrified this isn’t real.

No wonder he was all “sure, I will be an obedient dog” - because he knows Sibel is alive (and bosses don’t know he knows) and so he will pretend he is while finding her.

One of the greatest things about Ramo is his uncanny ability to come up with the most complex, clever plans, and execute them to perfection. This story arc is particularly satisfying when we think of how defeated he felt only several episodes before, only to end up killing the big boss who seemed invincible at the time. Is there any wonder that Sibel trusts him so completely?
I said it once, and I am going to keep saying it. The greatest mistake Ramo's enemies kept doing is to severely underestimate his abilities. "The fire is mine. The fire walks with me." DAMN RIGHT IT DOES.
The message he sent to Sibel via radio was another favourite moment of mine. I will never be over the way her face lights up when she sees his car outside. They are both so amazing.
The way he manages to communicate with her through the radio - that scene!!!

His plan involves Sibel’s freedom AND the murder of one of the triad who rules Turkish mob, in a way he will get out scot free. His brain!

He stuffs him full of viagra and then calmly chokes him with a pillow just to make sure. Shouldn’t have fucked with him making him believe Sibel was dead.

“What will happen now?” asks Dugu. “End of the world,” says Ramo. As soft as he is for Sibel, he is one scary AF motherfucker.

There are few things that make me more feral than Ramo blowing up stuff and escaping from difficult situations (while also committing multiple murders in the process).
Ramo completely besting his enemies while making them believe he has been defeated is definitely one of them.

Ramo tracing down the person who hired the killer and showing at the lair in his inimitable style is everything.
Meanwhile, Sibel escapes. She rigs her handcuffs - she was a good student of Ramo’s. Her planning is impeccable. But also she just never quits, like her man.

She does get eventually caught and is made to watch as Ramo comes to Mahsar’s seeking revenge. There is a sniper and if Ramo does not give up on learning this was the order of big bosses, blam!

But Ramo turns over his gun and is all “I killed your nephew you killed my wife, fuck you but we are even, I don’t want my whole fam to die so I will as always obey the big bosses.”

Big Boss is pleased and gloats to Sibel “you love him so much but he gave up his vengeance.” AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA NONE OF YOU KNOW HIM!!! The thing is, all the rest of them would act like this, but he never would (both in terms of giving his revenge up and in terms of being this sloppy about it - there is a reason he was gathering a huge squad earlier and not just planning to show up alone; plus it’s the man who planned to avenge his father for literal decades. But they all judge him by themselves so…)
