- THE URGE TO WALK INTO THE SCREEN AND FIX BARUN KA HAIR AND FACE (he was in his bhaloo bear era)

- Sanaya looked so pretty 😍 (lol I remember even the caption of his and sanaya’s pic is tintin and a shady guy 😂)

- SO DISAPPOINTED in the interviewer that they didn’t just focus on IPK and the excellent camaraderie between them but constantly talked about whether or not Sanaya & Barun dated each other ??? Like wtf? Because even a wiki search will let you know that Barun was married at the time of IPK and Sanaya was in a steady relationship. You could see Sanaya really keep her irritation at bay when at one point she even said “shame on you Renil,” as a joke but really she was not having it.

Like to be honest that’s the thing I hate mostt is associating IPK and their great chemistry to whether or not they dated when they were in separate committed relationships. Like I’d get it if both of them were still single and people went like”omg get together you guys have such a vibe!”

I mean again it’s none of people’s business but I get people shipping 2 actors who are still single.

It’s like asking SRK and Kajol if they were dating while doing their films when the whole world knew that SRK is married and Kajol was then in a steady relationship with Ajay.

And if anything they just commonly laughed how people perceived them to be together because of their great chemistry (the whole interview of Dilwale team at Kapil Sharma show is hilarious when Varun Dhawan retells he was so shocked to see Gauri and SRK together chase he thought Kajol and SRK were married 😂)

But Renil literally kept pestering if Sanaya & Barun had an extra marital affair and that was disgusting.

It was a question that shouldn’t have come up in the first place at all. Renil knows better than that tbh. In fact they could’ve laughed how people similarly thought those two were having the SRK-Kajol thing of as if people thought they’re a pair in real life because of their chemistry.

So I really wished they were interviewed by Rajeev Khandelwal or anyone else tbh just because of this very point.

Binged 94 episodes (out of 135) of Reporters TV in the last 3 days. Yeah, ik it's a lil too much, I watched it at 2x speed. And I'm absolutely in love with everything about the series. Why does india drop series like this but readily picks up on 1000+ episodes of saas-bahu drama with years of separation between leads, barely any romance and everything from ichadhari naagin to ichadhari makhi. Maybe coz you can't make 1000 episodes on office romance.

Anyways, this is a Reporters appreciation post, let's focus on that. Rajeev Khandelwal is a damn hottie OH MY GOD SALIVATING EVERYTIME HE'S ON SCREEN. Kabir Sharma is a well written character, actually everyone in the show is well written. From the leads to the side characters, even Pandit ji left an impression in his few minutes. Kabir's maturity was really refreshing. Once he chose his love, there was no going back. He'll stand by her. The way he handled Richa's scepticism towards himself was commendable. Kabir's talk(threat?) to Malvika in ep 79 was HAWT. Give me a man with big ego(for the world, not his girl) who can justify it too. Nhi to baap ka raaj samajhne wale nalle hr gali mei mil jate.

Ananya Kashyap, a fiery reporter who rejected news anchoring to stay connected with root level news made me love her even more. Professionally she's very wise but personally she's much younger than Kabir with fewer life experiences and it shows. But that's ok, no one loves a Mary Sue. The whole saying 'I love you' in different languages in front of the office was very cringe but let who has not been cringe in love cast the first stone.

Ronnie, my baby, a green forest before the word became saturated. The best friend one can ask for, none of that 'Nice guy' bullshit. He, and people like him, deserve everything nice in the world. The best itv character ever. A gem of a person.

Richa Lakhani, loved seeing her reading news, she felt very authentic. What I really loved about the show was making Richa's scepticism about KaYa relationship a prominent subplot. Female friendships are barely given much importance in Indian media. While she did come off as over bearing at times, her heart was at the right place and her doubts very valid too.

Khalid was a joy to watch. The chaotic energy he brought without letting it affect work was very balanced. Loved his antics. Loved it when he screamed at that movie producer during Baggi debacle. He cares, he truly does. KKN is KL and his brain child and it's evident. Just came to know while typing this that Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, the actor of Khalid was a retired army Major and got into the film industry to fulfill his childhood dream of being an actor. He passed away in 2021. I'm proud of him yk, very few people actually have the courage to live their dreams. I'm proud of him for never giving up even when stats and the world would say otherwise. And he did great. He was a great actor, may he rest in peace.

Manav was a treat. Had genuine reasons to be anti but didn't lose his humanity in the process(evident from his concern during Baggi plot) which is rare in itv. He's witty, cunning and a lil bit of a dumbass but it's ok, we can't have him overshadowing Kabir now, can we?

Tarini is my baby and I hope she got better than whatever this was. A great friend and I'm surprised Kabir and her sustained such a healthy friendship despite what transpired between them. A YT comment said Kabir should have married her to 'save' her name but nah. She would still be known as a homewrecker and he did take up her and Anurag's responsibility. Marriage shouldn't be an arrangement.

Malvika. Ughhhh. I think the writers put the last effort in her. "She's dumb but attractive," Manav defines her aptly. No brain just a desire for male validation and a big ego she can't justify.

Shreya Bhagat fulfilled my desire for a strong female anti. I'ven't seen much of her yet to comment more. Loved Trisha but she went away too soon. Skipped through everytime Baby-Sunny came up. Armaan was a great brother, loved him.

The pain of living life

Kajol and Vishal Jethwa in Salaam Venky Film Plot: This film tells the story of a boy who has a genetic disease called DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) is a Degenerative Disease, which causes all of a person's organs to gradually stop functioning until he dies one day. The movie is called Salaam Venky, but the true title should have been Maa. The mother who watches her children struggle for their lives with this disease can only feel their suffering first-hand. The son wants to donate his organs and perform euthanasia, and she fights a legal battle for that as well, but she is unsuccessful. How long will her son be alive? Will he be put to death? You must watch the film to find out the answers to all of these questions. The film's theme and tone are emotional drama. Where the theme is struggle and fighting, which is based on hospital life, and there is a mixture of pain and sadness. The film's goal is to tell an audience a story based on a real-life event, not to provide them with entertainment. Character development and acting: Kajol did a fantastic job portraying Sujata Prasad. Kajol was the best candidate for this position. Seeing her son in this state causes the mother great pain and sadness, but she keeps these feelings to herself. In her acting, she has shown a different kind of mother on screen, a lonely, helpless and divorced woman who leaves her husband and daughter for her mentally ill child. Her spouse divorces her and expels her from the home. Although she did a great job, it was difficult for her to convey the anguish and suffering through her facial expressions, and she was seen acting the same in numerous scenes. Vishal Jethwa's acting being a highly emotional character, Venky has done an incredible job on screen portraying the themes of perseverance, overcoming obstacles, and holding onto hope until the very end. Playing a character like that is really tough, but she did it flawlessly. Her eyes seem to filled with pain and suffering that is very similar to real life. Ahana Kumara's acting in the role of Sanjana is also good. Rahul Bose's performance as Parvez Alam is likewise good. The performance of Rajeev Khandelwal as Doctor Shekhar is also excellent. The performances of the supporting actors also contribute to the plot's advancement. Direction: Actress Revathy is the film's director. She directed the movies Mitr My Friend(2002), Phir Milenge(2004), Kerala Cafe(2009) and Mumbai Cutting(2010) prior to this one. Despite receiving high praise from critics, neither of these movies became box office successes. However, Mitr My Friend In addition to winning the National Awards, Mitr My Friend screened at numerous film festivals. In this film also, she has shown the story very well on screen. The pace of the film is also fine. The direction of this film seems similar to her previous films. She films the story and tells it differently. She controls the entire movie. Furthermore, she did not let the story go off track at all. Story & Screenplay: Sammeer Arora wrote the screenplay, and Kausar Munir wrote the dialogues. The film is a little weak in the first half, but the screenplay is also a little weak. The cinematography by Ravi Varman is fantastic; the camera work and camera movements are good; the scenes with aerial views are well shot; the actors are well framed in every scene; the editing is done by Manan Sagar. The film could have been 15 to 20 minutes shorter; the pace is slow; the production design by Sandeep Sharad Ravade is good. the costumes of Radhika Mehra are also good; Mithoon has done a fantastic job; the music and lyrics all well composed and written. Climax: It's superb and heart-warming. Opinion: One-time watch! Those who enjoy emotional films. Flaws: The film made entirely commercial, even though the idea of parallel cinema was present. Aamir Khan's role was unnecessary; in the dream, he shown supporting his husband. Music and lyrics weren't necessary when making an emotional film. The film became overly spicy; it could have been a little shorter. Social message: Life is short; smile and let life be. Nobody can predict when someone will leave this world. This film inspired by an incredible true story of Kolavennu Venkatesh, The Story based on the book titled The Last Hurrah' by Shrikant Murthy.
