Do you have any headcanons for the 2p baltics?

Hmmm the 2p Baltics...

Where do I start?!

You’d be hard-pressed to find a salty, more mischievous and sarcastic bunch

They may work under Viktor but they know full well they are important to the process and abuse this fact regularly

But its to be said that they have a pretty good relationship with Viktor, so some playing around is tolerated

The pranks these three pulls are ingenious and its a mystery how they execute them so well 

Nobody would expect these three to work together at all, let alone so well

You've got Old Man ™ 2p Estonia 

Enigma 2p Lituania

And smol ball of seething chaos 2p Latvia

Let start with our favorite oldie

Now 2p Estonia, or Egor, isn’t that old physically

He swings hard and gets into a fair amount of fights

Unlike his 1p he is absolutely clueless when it comes to technology

This man uses a flip phone because even iPhones are just too confusing

He’s better for muscle when it comes to being useful

He likes to tell you that the scars he has are from amazing fights from long ago

Most of them are, but a few really notable ones are come from him being clumsy

There is a reason he is no longer allowed to have a butterfly knife

He has a dog, a mutt he’s named Toomas

This is the fourth dog named Toomas

Nobody knows why his name is Toomas

He wears black because that's what the cool kids wear

This is exclusively why he wears black

He’s pretty impressionable but actually likes few people

No ones quite sure how to get Egor to like you, but once it happens you’ll know it

Onto the mystery in a box 2p Lituania

He uses the name Tomas the most, but he tends to use two other names depending on who he’s talking to

Everyone is pretty sure there is a system to the names he uses

If he uses Matas, he seems not to like who he’s talking to and sees them as beneath him

If he uses Leonas, he also doesn’t like who he’s talking to, but in this case, he might be a bit intimidated and wants to seem stronger than he looks.

Tomas is what he uses with Viktor and the rest of the Baltics, so they assume this name means he trust them

He really really hopes Egor’s dog isn’t named after him

He’s guarded about what he likes and shares few things with those around him

He’s the leader of the group and the one thing he likes to share is how the Baltics could be a better team in comparison to the 2p Axis and 2p Allies

He will never ever say it, but he takes heavy inspiration from Allen and Luciano on their leadership skills

Allen is strong and quick on his feet, making the Allies great at Blitz attacks and ambushes

Luciano is calculating and calm, able to strategically plan everything in advance, leading the Axis to be the best at the long game

Tomas has molded the Baltics into a tiny mix of the two, where they can do a small to medium job quickly and efficiently with few hiccups

He appreciates praise and it certainly acts as an ego boost

He makes a point to be different from Toyls (1p Lithuania) in as many ways as possible

He definitely sees him as weak

And finally, the incarnation of chaos himself

Raimonds is so salty

He’s short and he hates it and if you even dare start to mention it you’ll regret it

You won’t get hurt, he can’t really physically hurt anyone, but he’ll chew your ear off with all his yelling and complaining

His actions are reminiscent of a child with an attitude problem

But only when he’s really angry

Most of the time, he’s not angry, but snarky, sarcastic, and off the walls

He works like the Energizer Bunny; he goes hard for a short amount of time, then completely burns out

He has a hard time concentrating on one thing and if he sees something really cool, he’ll change course and do that instead

Its a pain sometimes, but Tomas has learned how to direct him on a specific path

If Raimonds puts his mind to it, he’ll follow through 100% and often does a really good job 

Positive reinforcement works well on him, and he eats up praise and even goes above and beyond to get an extra compliment

There is one thing he likes and no one knows what it is

Its anime

He’s a weeb

He once tried talking to Kuro about it but freaked out and embarrassed himself

He's watched everything

And I mean everything

including things no one should ever see 

These three are polar opposites, but they create a dream team that surprises

Viktor is proud of them and enjoys the confusion from other nations

They are a small family and look out for each other, no matter how chaotic or confusing they might be

Hi Jay and Sarah! I absolutely adore your blog; you two are brilliant writers with the way you can get into the characters head and describe things from their perspective!! So for this ask I'd like to shake things up a bit~ How do you imagine the Baltics 2ps to convey themselves? Do you have any headcanons for them? Do they fear Viktor, or do they walk all over him? Considering how little about their personalities (even for 2ps) is agreed upon, this should be quite fun!~

Hmmmm I like this one! Since there isn’t any canon stuff on the 2p Baltics and the fans haven’t decided on a lot yet, this is all pure speculation…so here we go! -Admin Jay

2p LativaName: Raimonds GalanteUnlike his 1p, he is very angry and will not hesitate to fight someone much larger than him. He is very stand-offish and is known to get into a lot of trouble. Raimonds is very sadistic and likes to be cruel to others, which doesn’t win him many friends…especially with the other Baltics. Viktor sees him as more of an annoying roach, but he isn’t worth the effort to crush…yet.

2p LithuaniaName: Leonas LaurinaitisHe is very confident and arrogant, but still has a soft spot for his Baltic brothers. May possibly have magic…The others can hardly stand him due to his big talk all the time.He is quite the troublemaker as well, right behind Raimonds.Viktor finds Leonas laughable and enjoys crushing his ego and breaking his spirit. Not to mention, Viktor calls the three of them Lock, Shock and Barrel due to some of their antics, but if it is just Leonas and Raimonds then they are Pain and Panic. Viktor does not take Leonas seriously and sees him as a mere annoyance…or a dog to be chained up and left for a while…whichever makes him shut up.

2p Estonia (this guy doesn’t even have a wiki for me to reference, so I��m basing this off of Admin Sarah who loves Estonia…I hope this is decent.)Is a hipster who tries to avoid the newest technology. Loves the old school way of things. Would rather read a book then go online. Tries to contain the two troublemakers, but most of the time just sits back and watches them cause havoc. Though if something good is in it for him…he may join in. Is the only one Viktor likes, and on occasion the two of them have sat in enjoyable silence reading together.

"You're too kind, Mister Raimond." Charlie tucked more hair behind her freckled ear, a bashful, nervous laugh taking place of her voice for a second. "I'll definitely let you know if I need more help. But your job comes first! Obviously," she whispered the last part to herself. She was excited to hear that someone was willing to help her.

Someone who wasn't going to mumble that she was a dumb Dora and move on as if she had never spoke. The start of her hard work potentially paying off !

"I think that maybe, if enough people come, everyone could share a little bit of commonality. I know a lot of us have come from unsavory places, as you put it?"

How many children in the orphanage had grown up, only to turn to a life of crime, or move elsewhere and destroy themselves? Call it ego, but Charlotte was proud of where she had steered herself to. Only rarely did she fall into bad habits, but with her career, she had no TIME to think about doing anything else.

Those silver irises glanced over to the large clock in the corner of the room, leading a low whistle to come from her.

"Would you look at that -- it's getting rather late for me to be out for much longer. I would love to continue our talk... over that drink? Or whenever you'd like to."

Charlie was too smart to be on the streets past the witching hour, hence why she was always the main act of the early eve into the night.

The flush and giggle told Raimond all he needed to know, he was in her good graces. He kept on his hand, not making any untowards advancements on the poor thing. She had pretty eyes though…he would have to admit.

“I’m glad you’re willing to take me up on the drink, Miss Charlotte. I have a feeling we’ll have plenty to talk over if this little conversation’s anything to go by.”

He paused at the admittance that she had no one else. “Really?” he asked back gently, disbelief taking over his tone. How on earth was she going to reign in such…potential hooligans? What if they got too unruly? 

The mere thought made something in his skin crawl. That wouldn’t do. Idiotic idea or not, he couldn’t handle the thought at all. 

“I’d love to help Miss Charlotte, I grew up in less than savory circumstances myself, if I can help at all it’ll be my pleasure.”

Robots Can’t EP

Raimond Ford is back after 20 years of absence from the scene with a fantastic new musical story to tell across ten tracks of avant-garde deep techno. Together with the D-EX collective and Racket Knight, Raimond Ford has been one of the most successful techno alter egos of Luca Tavaglione aka djlukas, a Swiss artist from the nineties who played all the major raves of that era. Under his various aliases he has released on Planet Rhythm Rec TouchTone/AudioRec, Spectra Records and many others, with legends like Carl Cox often dropping his tunes. His Robot Can’t EP explores the notion that robots will probably replace human beings in certain activities or functions and “tries to describe the personal feelings of the artists when one day he woke up in a surreal world between darkness and light, running against the unknown with little fragments of memory captured through the eyes of a robot.” An atmospheric ambient opener sets the scene before ‘Robots Can’t (Part. 2)’ brings rolling deep techno drums complete with mechanical synths. 'Delirium (Moore’s Deep Mix)’ then keeps you in suspense with an edgy bassline and patient, mid-tempo beats that characterise a dehumanised world. ‘Magical & Strange’ is an excellent eerie synth interlude that adds to the cinematic feel and ‘Astral Angel’ is a steady journey through the cosmos that leaves you gazing at the deft sound design. The spaced out, meditative mood continues through slick and serene cut ‘Large Room’ and then after another gorgeously futuristic passage of ambient, ‘Obscura’ builds the pressure with driving minimalism and things close down on the sombre moods of ‘Philosophical Tenet’ which soundscapes a world governed by robots and will get its own single release.
