So like, a lot of people talk about the relationships Schezo has with Lagnus/Satan/Arle etc. and how they would deal with the whole, Dark Mage thing he's got going on, never really see people talk about the outcome.

Because if you think about it, throughout Puyo history, from Madou Era to Current Era (Do not know the name of the Current Puyo Era, is it still called Tetris/Quest Era?) you could argue that everyone is due for a good ending. Satan is already at his happy ending, hanging around with Arle and the gang at any time now. Sig and Klug always have a chance to be free from the Crimson Demon, and the Demon itself always has the chance of redemption. More and more people are beginning to befriend/remember Ecolo. Don't really know the overall villain of Chronicle. Ex, the SS Tetra and the Will of the Worlds all don't really have much problems that don't already have solutions to them at the ready. Everyone will inevitably have some sort of Happy Ending or Silver Lining at the End.

...except for Schezo.

With how Schezo's whole deal is being done, there really is no happy end for Schezo at the end of it all. He's either gonna die, or pass on the Dark Mage to the next idiot, and then die. Not in-betweens, it's either death or delayed death. Even worse when you factor that the people who are gonna kill him, more often than not are his "friends". Whether it be the most obvious answer of Lagnus, Arle just trying to save him from himself, or Satan trying to right a very big wrong. He'll most likely die at the hands of his "friends". He's not gonna pass it on, this lineage will end with him.

Even worse when you count that, even if not a single person in this friend group will show it, they all care for each other deep down, and want what's best for everyone. This whole ending is gonna suck for everyone inovlved. And you know that, the Rune Lord is gonna capitalize on it. Even if he knows that this is where everything ends for good, he's gonna make sure they're is no celebrations, he's gonna make it so they're not gonna be happy at the end of all of this. As one final laugh, he's gonna make it known,

You will end this great evil once and for all, but you're never gonna have Schezo back.
