kingohger was the first sentai i watched live start to finish and god what a season for it. i remember watching the promo images come out and listening to the intro when it dropped with didi like "i think this season might be peak." and then it was

it's been a wild wild ride and i'm gonna miss speculating every week about what takamina was cooking, but ive honestly had the best time drawing for this show and talking about it on tumblr dot gov with all of you!

Return of the Worst King Racules Husty, who once ruled the "most powerful country" Shugoddam, and was called "the worst king in history" by his people, has returned to Shugoddam!

Furthermore, he joins forces with the Uchu King, Dagded Dujardin who plots to eliminate all living creatures from Chikyu, and opposes the Royal Sentai along with Suzume Dybowski, the younger sister of Kaguragi Dybowski, the lord of Toufu, an agricultural country.

In the midst of all this, an ambivalent drama begins between the most evil couple and Kaguragi?!

Kaguragi Dybowski (played by Kaku So) Profile of Kaguragi: The lord of Toufu, country of agricultural, he transforms into HachiOhger. Originally a farmer, he inherited the throne from the previous king, Iroki. He is willing to deceive his allies in order to protect the lives of his people. He has mixed feelings when his beloved sister Suzume marries Racules, who he is also connected to by fate.

Suzume Dybowski (played by Kamura Mami) Profile of Suzume: The younger sister of Toufu's lord Kaguragi. She's been sickly since childhood. At first, she worked together with Kaguragi to get close to Shugoddam's king, Racules, in order to discover Shugoddam's secrets, but she married him. Her true intentions are a mystery, as just like Kaguragi, she is capable of deceiving others in order to achieve her goals.

Racules Husty (played by Masato Yano) Profile of Racules: The former king of Shugoddam who transforms into OhkuwagataOhger. He was defeated in trial by combat with his brother Gira, a member of the Royal Sentai, but was revived as "Shugo Mask" while the Royal Sentai were on Earth. He actively supplies the culture of other countries to his people and rules a peaceful and prosperous country, but his goal is to rule the universe?!
