Wilson took over Rubius' setup today and refused to let him move the camera, going so far as to grab his arm with his tiny little paws MULTIPLE times so Rubius would keep petting him 🥹💕

Do you ever think before you speak??#Women like imane are welcomed and common in arab countries#the transphobes we have here are the same fucking ones you have in the west! how come yours is special and civilised terfs???#And stop calling her khalif for fucks sake. learn how arabic names work before butchering them with your ignorant self centered naming systm#Imane is her first name. Khalif is her FATHER'S first name. You're calling her by her father's first name NOT her last name#arabic names go with your first name first. father's first name second. grandpa firstname third then great grandpa THEN last name#call her imane and stop embarrassing yourself bc you're just calling her by a man's name. her father's#“trans allegations” as if our people take the west media seriously rather than a circus show at best. You're repeating old news.#And even if there were. People here are actually a community nurtured on kindness. even the most conservatives mind their business#We're raised on being a community. strangers are your brothers and sisters. Live and let live#But your goddamn media takes stories of religion extremist and paints ALL of us like that. and your tiny brain actually believes it#Hey! you know those gay stories on my blog you've been reading? They were written by a savage arab oh no!#They were written by someone who lives in those dangerous arabic countries! oh no!#You don't know our culture. You don't know our beliefs. You will never grasp our ideals bc they were weaved from kindness and helping others#So don't fucking talk shit about things you know NOTHING about. You don't know the queer arab struggles#the same bad apples you have there we have here. shitty people are shitty regardless of nationality#But actually we do have some etiquette and considerations for others here. We don't go throwing bricks at queen tourists do we?#So why would we do it to our own people you sad excuse of a human

Examples of transandrophobia: i've seen sections of Leslie Feinberg's piece "Sisterhood: Make it Real" passed around this site for literally years, and TODAY was the first time that I saw the whole thing and learned that ze called out cisfeminists in it for getting rid of trans men the second they started transitioning. Like I always thought it was a good piece but I had literally NO IDEA that it talked about trans men because that part was never included in posts about it, even when those posts were calling out cisfeminism for being transphobic. I'm just gobsmacked tbh
This is a great point!
Honestly more people need to read that full chapter. There's a lot of really good points.
Amongst other things, Leslie talks about how "women good men bad" is poor feminism:
Of course, as a result of the oppression women face growing up in such a violently anti-woman environment, some women draw a line between women as allies and men as enemies. While it’s understandable that an individual might do so out of fear, this approach fails as theory. It lumps John Brown and John D. Rockefeller together as enemies and Sojourner Truth and Margaret Thatcher together as allies. This view of who to trust and who to dread will not keep women safe or keep the movement on course.
How feminine men are victims of gender oppression:
The oppression of feminine men is an important one to me, since I consider drag queens to be my sisters. I’ve heard women criticize drag queens for “mocking women’s oppression” by imitating femininity to an extreme, just as I’ve been told that I am imitating men. Feminists are justifiably angry at women’s oppression - so am I! I believe, however, that those who denounce drag queens aim their criticism at the wrong people. This misunderstanding doesn’t take gender oppression into account. For instance, to criticize male-to-female drag performers, but leave out a discussion of gender oppression, lumps drag queen RuPaul together with men like actor John Wayne! RuPaul is a victim of gender oppression, as well as of racism.
How masculine women are assumed to know less about gender oppression:
But I grew up very masculine, so the complex and powerful set of skills that feminine girls developed to walk safely through the world were useless to me. I had to learn a very different set of skills, many of them martial. While we both grew up as girls, our experiences were dissimilar because our gender expressions were very different. Masculine girls and women face terrible condemnation and brutality including sexual violence - for crossing the boundary of what is “acceptable” female expression. But masculine women are not assumed to have a very high consciousness about fighting women’s oppression, since we are thought to be imitating men.
And as you said, how trans men deserve access to women's and lesbian's spaces without having their transmasculinity ignored or seen as being butch-in-denial:
And our female-to-male transsexual brothers have a right to feel welcome at women’s movement events or lesbian bars. However, that shouldn’t feed into to misconception that all female-to-male transsexuals were butches who just couldn’t deal with their oppression as lesbians. If that were true, then why does a large percentage of post-transition transsexual men identify as gay and bisexual, which may have placed them in a heterosexual or bisexual status before their transition? There are transsexual men who did help build the women’s and lesbian communities, and still have a large base of friends there. They should enjoy the support of women on their journey. Doesn’t everyone want their friends around them at a time of great change? And women could learn a great deal about what it means to be a man or a woman from sharing the lessons of transition.
Not that "trans women belong in feminism" wouldn't be a good point on its own, but people's selectivity with which parts of that chapter they share definitely warrant scrutiny.

since pride month is coming up remember
flag discourse is not real
slur discourse is not real
lesboy discourse is not real
mspec discourse is not real
trans men/transmascs are queer and we deserve a safe space
afab non binary people are not women lite
amab non binary people are still non binary
companies don’t give a shit about us. Do not praise them (esp since they are backing down bc of conservatives)
asexuals and aromantics are real people who are queer
The A in lgbtqia+ doesn’t not stand for ally. It stands for Asexual, Aromantic and Agender (and any other A label)
stop excluding masculine queer people
Xenogenders and Neoprnouns are valid
Xenogenders and Neopronouns hurt no one or make us look bad and don’t make transphobes hate us any more than they already do
Bisexuals can be in guy/girl relationships (and so on)
Queer platonic relationships are valid
Cishet/Allies are allowed at pride (seriously I saw a tweet from some idiot saying you can’t bring your cis partner to pride)
Real people cannot queerbait. Stop using this as a tool to (intentionally or not) force people to come out
A couple looking cishet or heteronormative does not mean they are
Trans men/Transmascs don’t owe you masculinity
trans women/transfems don’t owe you femininity
Anyone under the Nonbinary umbrella doesn’t owe you androgyny
Uplift Disabled/Neurodivergent/Non white queer/trans voices
Don’t forget about the Queer and Trans people being bombed in Palestine.
Cops aren’t allowed anywhere near pride. All Cops Are Bastards
Zionism,Racism,Antisemitism,Abelism etc is no welcome in the queer community
People who are still in the closet/not out are still part of our community and shouldn’t be forced to come out or be excluded
that’s all I can think of rn. Happy almost pride month 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
if you can and it’s safe, consider attending IRL pride events. Stay safe!

Welcome To YanSim News!
Want just one blog to check when looking for all your favorite game updates? Well, that's what we made this for! Strictly updates, no drama, just ease of access.
This blog will be run by multiple mods in order to get as much coverage of the YanSim community as possible and not miss any updates (within human capability, of course).
However - We will not be revealing the mods who run this, in order to protect their privacy, and keep community news coverage fair. At least, for now - some mods may choose to reveal themselves if they feel comfortable, prefer using sign-off tags, or any other reason. But that is up to them and them alone.
Do you have a game you'd like us to add to our coverage that we haven't featured yet?
Feel free to DM us from your games blog, and we'll keep an eye out on it for future updates! We do not accept fan submissions, however, to respect creators as well as avoid repeat requests.
General rules and expected behavior:
18+, no minors. Ageless/minor blogs will be blocked on sight.
No drama: we will not be covering community drama, "tea", gossip, rumors, or anything else. Do not bring it to our asks, DM's, reblogs, or anywhere else we can see it.
Respect Mods privacy: if they don't want to be known, let them remain anonymous. You are not entitled to anyone's identity or private details.
All games are equal. We update as updates are made, without favoritism or unreasonable bias. IE, we will not listen to asks saying to focus on one game more than another, or to exclude a creator who asked to be covered here and was approved.
We don't support Ableism, Bigotry, Transphobia, Homophobia, Racism, and the like. If your actions have fallen under these categories, your platforming request will be rejected. Creators have a duty to their fanbase to acknowledge such actions and reprimand people who do them. If you allow your fans to harass others without condemning such actions we cannot trust your judgment.
Outreach: occasionally, if we see a game get big or if there's an interesting concept, a mod may reach out and ask if you'd like to be included here. You are free to accept or decline as you wish.

On this day, 8 April 2013, former Conservative prime minister Margaret Thatcher died. Street parties broke out across the UK, particularly in working class areas and in former mining communities which were ravaged by her policies. Her legacy is best remembered for her destruction of the British workers' movement, after the defeat of the miners' strike of 1984-85. This enabled the drastic increase of economic inequality and unemployment in the 1980s. Her government also slashed social housing, helping to create the situation today where it is unavailable for most people, and private property prices are mostly unaffordable for the young. Thatcher also complained that children were "being cheated of a sound start in life" by being taught that "they have an inalienable right to be gay", so she introduced the vicious section 28 law prohibiting teaching of homosexuality as acceptable. Abroad, Thatcher was a powerful advocate for racism, advising the Australian foreign minister to beware of Asians, else his country would "end up like Fiji, where the Indian migrants have taken over". She hosted apartheid South Africa's head of state, while denouncing the African National Congress as a "typical terrorist organisation". Chilean dictator general Augusto Pinochet, responsible for the rape, murder and torture of tens of thousands of people, was a close personal friend. Back in Britain, she protected numerous politicians accused of paedophilia including Sir Peter Hayman, and MPs Peter Morrison and Cyril Smith. She also lobbied for her friend, serial child abuser Jimmy Savile, to be knighted despite being warned about his behaviour. Margaret Thatcher was eventually forced to step down after the defeat of her hated poll tax by a mass non-payment campaign. Pictured: Jimmy Savile welcoming Thatcher to hell, reportedly. hey I am punkedupqueer I am an unapologetically queer, 'cringe', teenage thing. my one goal here is to make cis neurotypical people who mock people even slightly different from themselves violently uncomfortable. I am autistic and do not mask in online spaces, I am nonhuman, I do not conform to gender or orientation expectations. I am who I am and that is not being changed except by the natural course of aging.
For everyone I haven't yet scared off, I'm Rudy, I use any pronouns except for they/them. I highly encourage you to use neopronouns that you haven't seen enough of, or that you use yourself. This blog is a violently safe space, in that I will guard it with teeth and claws from people who want to water down our identities in order to make them more palatable for cis neurotypical people. Feel free to send me asks about gender, identity, my opinions, all that good stuff. You're welcome to talk about your own experiences in my ask box too!
I have no DNI besides the basics (homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc.), but I will block on sight. I will not argue with you about the validity of my identity. Kink blogs, please do not bring that content onto my page, or my content onto yours, but you are welcome to interact and share experiences, you are just as valid in queer communities as the rest of us and should not be shamed.

man i always hope the brazilians and anyone being treated poorly on twitter know they can migrate to tumblr and always be welcomed like i know how things function here can be wildly different and our community isnt free of its own issues but i know for a fact it isnt as unbearable as twitter and the shit im seeing is vile.. no one should be treated like that and it’s shameful to see it coming from a part of the qsmp community on twitter when the whole purpose of the server is quite literally the opposite of that behavior. the upsetting factor is they shouldnt have to migrate to a whole other platform to be treated with decency. the entire thing is just sad i hope in the future br fans on twitter will be able to have a kinder more positive experience with other fans and not have to endure more racism and xenophobia.

How would Danish highschools and unis change after the influx of Black students? How would policies and attitudes and curricula evolve to be respectful of the new arrivals' culture? What expectations would a Danish girl face, from her friends, parents, and authorities? What would the average Danish girl's social life be like?
How would life look like in the Africanized Denmark I described here?
Education Curricula would evolve to be more respectful of Black culture, as you say.
For example, history classes would take on a more comparative perspective. Instead of just studying Danish history, students would learn that while their ancestors were burying their kings in mounds of dirt, Egyptians were building the Great Pyramid of Giza.
Tumblr media
Physical education would also change. The focus would shift from seeing physical activity as a component of well-being to seeing it as a requirement for sexual attractiveness.
Danish gymn classes of today are big on communal activities, teaching students how to be part of a team without the competitive focus of American phys ed. The purpose of the exercises aren't to "get in shape" as much as to give students the sensation of using their bodies, resulting in little more than a pair of healthy blushing cheeks.
Tumblr media
This would all change in Africanized Denmark. Now the focus would be on being the most attractive version of yourself that you can be.
For the guys, this would consist of muscle-building exercises, like weight-lifting and push-ups. Mostly for the Black men, of course, with white guys being encouraged to take on the role of spotter.
The atmosphere would be very masculine, and (Black) students would be allowed to decorate the locker room with their favorite pin-ups.
For the girls, gym class would start with an individual weighing in front of the entire class. Weight losses would be commended, and girls would be warned not to become "chubby".
This would be followed by strenuous exercises designed to make your tummy tighter and your butt bigger. The only cheeks blushing would be those on your backside as you went through your twerking exercises.
Critical Race Theory would also play a central role in the curriculum. Students would be encouraged to explore the historical roots and contemporary manifestations of racism. This would include exploring and apologizing for subconcious racism among the Danish students themselves. I've written more about this here.
Tumblr media
Expectations faced by Danish girls Danish girls in particular would be expected to extend their hospitality to the new arrivals.
Posting pro-BLM material on your social media profile would be expected and considered the bare minimum. Likewise attending anti-racist rallies. As our dark-skinned guests are greeted at the border, Danish teens would be marching and chanting in protest of police brutality against Blacks.
There would also be an expectation of dating the new arrivals. As a single Danish girl you would be expected to be on at least one dating or hookup app, advertising your desire to welcome a Black man into your bed.
This pressure would especially be felt by those girls blessed with a big booty. A bona fide PAWG in a relationship with a Danish guy would be accused of "wasting" her body on a white guy when a Black man would enjoy it so much more.

Lawyers’ offices shut down, high street shops were boarded up, GP practices closed early and MPs were told to consider working from home as 41 of the 43 local police force areas in England and Wales braced for potential disorder. About 6,000 riot-trained officers were drafted in to tackle the expected rallies and an estimated 30 counter-protests after immigration law firms and refugee centres were listed as potential targets in a far-right chat group on the encrypted messaging app Telegram. But instead, thousands of counter-protesters took to the streets of Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton and London to protect their communities. At 7pm in Liverpool, hundreds of people formed a human shield outside a targeted church that hosts an immigration advice centre while women held banners saying: “Nans against Nazis”. Similar scenes were witnessed in the east London boroughs of Hackney and Walthamstow as thousands of local people and anti-fascist activists came together and held placards saying “we are one human race” and “unite against hate”. In Brighton, the handful of anti-immigration protesters who gathered outside a targeted law office were surrounded by police for their own protection after they were outnumbered by about 500 counter-protesters who chanted: “Off our streets, Nazi scum.” Later, the gathering took on a street carnival atmosphere with a samba band and loud singing. But tensions flared in Aldershot in Hampshire after a group chanting “stop the boats” clashed with protesters holding “stand up to racism” placards who had been chanting “refugees are welcome here”. Dozens of police officers rushed onto the road to stop the groups from getting too close to each other. There were also reported skirmishes in Blackpool. Northamptonshire police said three people had been arrested for public order offences in Northampton, and were in custody, and no members of the public or police had been injured. The Metropolitan police said eight people had been arrested in Croydon for assaulting emergency workers, possession of offensive weapons and other offences after about 50 people gathered “to cause disruption and fuel disorder”. “They’ve dragged and thrown objects down the road and thrown bottles at officers. This is not linked to protest, this appears to be pure anti-social behaviour,” the force added on X. But by 9pm few far-right protesters were seen at the alleged targeted sites, although counter-protests continued to grow. A police source with knowledge of law enforcement’s view of the national picture said “no significant public order issues” had been reported by mid-evening, with no known events where counter protesters and the far right had turned up at the same time. The source said: “It’s not looking as widespread as expected yet but still very early.” Some 15 events across England and Wales were known of by police, mostly involving counter protesters. It was believed some far right led gatherings were taking place, though on a much smaller scale than expected.
Keep racists afraid!

You don't have to post this because it's not necessarily the right time but I wanna chuck my input into the ring on the lack of inclusivity with dnp.
These guys apparently cannot be bothered to hire a captioning service for their videos. They can definitely afford it, I think that is abundantly clear. But they don't appear to do it??? At least not for every video. Imo it really is the absolute bare minimum to caption your content but they apparently don't care enough to do it.
I realise this might not be appropriate to share rn because this discussion is about racism and the exclusion of poc, but I thought it was fair to chuck it into the ring as this is also exclusion, but of a different grouo. Also intersectionality. Fyi that I'm white so you're more than welcome not to elevate my voice rn for obvious reasons but this is another example of them being not great from a disability perspective.
I realise that reading all these asks must take so much emotional energy so thank you so much for dedicating the time and energy to facilitate discussion with the care and empathy that you are.
No no no, anon. This should be raised awareness as well. I will not speak on their behalf, because I don’t know if this issue has been raised to them before. But this space should be inclusive to all kinds of people. Thank you for stopping by and being a part of our voice <33
Tumblr media
[ID/ a banner with light blue sparkly background; the disability pride flag slides in from the left and darker blue text pops in reading "Make some noise for Disability Pride Month!!" /end ID]

Auto-message: This ask’s purpose is to acknowledge dnp’s past/present exclusivity, not to cancel them! But to embrace mistakes that they’ve made so that 1. we won’t exclude people in need in this community, and 2. we can normalize bringing up exclusivity so that improvement can happen. Hopefully this will one day help dnp realize that this is a safe space for them to talk about their mistakes, so that this space can become safe for people of all kinds too <3
*If you don’t understand what is happening, scroll through my blog for context. And I’ll be taking time to answer my asks, so don’t think I’m ignoring youuu*

I agree with everything you’re saying, but you also have to remember that a lot of fic writers are younger and just starting out with their writing, not to mention sharing their work for free. Don’t get me wrong, I find it annoying when a reader is suddenly described with blue eyes and chest hair, but stuff like blushing or running fingers through their hair are common tropes and probably just picked up from books they’ve read. There’s definitely a lot of issues with racism and misogyny in fandom culture, but going after fic writers for making mistakes isn’t the way to go about fixing it imo.
Ps. I’m sorry you’ve been getting all those nasty anons
Okay lovely, so I'm going to address this as gently as possible. I know you're coming from a good place, so I want this to feel like a conversation, and not me just telling you off. So let me see if I can explain my point well. And thank you for your kind words regarding the anons.
In my original post, or at least my second, I did make sure to highlight that I do appreciate the writers on Tumblr overall.
The writers of this app are a huge backbone of it. If not THE backbone of it. They raise communities and open avenues for joy, comfort, shared pain, and creativity that has a lasting impact for years. And the fact that they do it for free? It's heartwarming, it's heart wrenchingly beautiful. We know this. We love it.
But, my post wasn't targeted toward young writers specifically, or those who are just feeling out writing and getting an understanding of what works and what doesn't.
It was to address the fact that I am not the first reader that has expressed annoyance and hurt over the lack of diversity in the fiction on this app, and that it's starting to feel like writers who have been on it for years are deliberately ignoring us.
As well as the fact that (and I know it may seem like a used up argument) it is 2024. Now we have seen, due to recent events, that means less and less in terms of social progress, but there has been so much work put into artistic projects in the past few years to show why diversity and even basic inclusion is so important, and how a few small changes can make a difference.
My posts thus far are to, at the core of them, raise awareness on those ideas and attempt to make even a miniscule difference.
When I first made the post, I was met with amazing writers, new and old, who reached out to me asking for advice on how to make their work more inclusive!
That's why I did what I did.
Because if there are even two writers who see that post and think, "Wow, I don't want readers of color to feel that way when I write, let me revise, " then we have strengthened our writing community as a whole and made a creative space more welcoming for the next generation of writers and readers alike.

is law of assumption real? yeah
i have come across an individual vilifying the loa community and i find their statements kinda funny and stupid but i love having my beliefs challenged bc i can know why i believe in this. please also read my response to this other girl who thought loa ppl were crazy. it is ok to think if it’s crazy. ur welcome to criticize it. also, i am using aesthetic pictures bc of my ocd, i need things to be divided.
this is for the people who want to listen whether LOA is real from MY perspective:
firstly, i was primed for law of assumption from a young age. this means that i experienced many and i mean MANY spiritual things from a young age. i saw spirits (not hallucinations, it was my dead grandma who i had never seen and i described her down to her ring to my dad and he started crying because it was her), started speaking french at random points without ever having consciously learned the language, heard random piano compositions in my ear which i had never heard before, had visions which protected me/warned me about the future/informed me about the future and many manyyy more things. this proves to me the power of the subconscious mind.
the difference between someone who was born with their third eye awakened versus someone who has no spiritual experiences + is not open-minded to it, is that they will view spiritual phenomena from a materialistic practical sense.
this is saddening, because humans before being impacted by materialism were so spiritual and we were the ones who created the pyramids and all the structures you see on earth. we did that.
anyways,
is it real?
my opinion: yes.
Tumblr media
no i am not in a cult waiting to pounce on the next vulnerable piece of meat. in fact, my future career is removing people out of cults and helping trafficking victims but anyways.
i have manifested things far beyond logic. you know how and why? because manifestation is the most basic human trait. and awakening to the fact that you are the creator of your reality is the most liberating amazing feeling and practice. i manifested one of my dying cats becoming free of cancer. that is not luck. that is manifestation. i manifested bad circumstances away. not luck, manifestation. i manifested all my exes leaving me the SAME way because i had assumed they would. not a coincidence, manifestation. there is definitely a lot we don’t know about the universe. i can’t say with certainty that all things are attributed to us which is also why i hate any form of victim blaming. but one thing is for sure is that humans have more control over our lives than we think. we don’t need a divine presence outside of us to dictate us the circumstances in OUR lives.
also, law of assumption is not law of attraction. law of attraction is “AHHH DONT THINK BAD THOUGHTS OR U WILL GET BAD JUJU” very fear-based, also seen in dogmatic religions. law of assumption uses a CBT based approach to change assumptions and therefore, influence reality. you have every right to not believe in this and even chastise me for it, i understand. however, i know this is real for me.
i was a victim of many racist attacks, however, as soon as i decided that the outside world is safe for me, i never had ONE negative experience. is this a coincidence? not for me, no. this is a human taking control of their life. this is a human not bound by societal expectations and leaning into divine energy and expressing the truest essence of one’s self. i am not blaming myself for being a victim, it is the racist’s fault. i am not blaming other victims, it is the perpetrators’ fault. however, if there is any fucking chance i can help a victim, i will take it, i do NOT care.
Tumblr media
things i manifested regarding other people towards me:
1. no more racism towards me, family and friends.
2. parents being emotionally available with me
3. my friends expressing affection the way i want them to
4. my mum making me the exact food i visualised many times
5. my professor saying the exact words to me as i visualised
6. my friends saying to me the exact words i visualised
7. this guy flirting with me out of nowhere because i visualised it
8. and many more stuff this shit is too easy so
maybe i feel this strongly because i am a fighter for the working class. my main goal in life is to help liberate all oppressed people. if there is any chance that it can be done by mind, i would take it. would you not? would you not help people by the means you have helped yourself?
Tumblr media
how can you so strongly and with such conviction without ever practising the law come to a conclusion that is a harmful new age ideology when the maxim prevalent in so many esoteric practices (yes, non-white too) have preached that reality is made by the mind? will we ignore the science behind it too? will we ignore the cia declassified documents? will we ignore ancient accounts of reality shifting? will we ignore hermes trismegistus? will we ignore rumi? will we ignore plato?
you can ignore this. i won’t, however. this is the liberation of the human soul. having said this, anyone is welcome to criticise the LOA community, look at us as vultures, think we are crazy. i value all opinions (even if they’re wrong HAHA sorry).
how is loa different from dogmatic religion?
well for one, there is evidence for conscious manifestation (e.g. dr joe dispenza’s books). i personally do not like religion. i have religious trauma so if you are religious, id advise you to not read this section. abrahamic religion is based on fear to oppress minorities, trap human potential and it also makes you rely on luck and wishful thinking (this view is only if the holy books were to be taken in the literal sense and abused by ministers etc) whereas the human is able to decide its own fate. law of assumption liberates the human by putting the human from an us vs them view to an us AND them view, meaning everyone is one and the same. this is not a christian thing, this is a well documented thing featured in asian philosophy. consciousness is the thing that unites us all. it is within you and it is within me. religion (abrahamic) forces you to look at the people who are not like you, aka dont believe what you do, as these other creatures who have defied the will of God and ahhh will face wrath. LOA instead empowers the individual and promotes free will. i understand if you think this is dangerous, the woo-woo stuff, just dont practise it.
how is loa not a cult?
loa CAN be misused in a cult but on its own it is not a cult. no one in the loa community is forcing the individual to join this practice which lowkey is just manifestation. however, i get your concerns and i advise you to read this reply: x
i wish i took pics of my cat when she was sick so i could provide u guys evidence but of course i didnt take any pics.
anyone is welcome to leave. anyone is welcome to adjust loa to their lives the way they see fit.
the void state
i doubt that so many people are lying about manifesting in the void state. i do think it’s not a big deal but i definitely don’t think it’s fake. besides, whats the harm in trying?
thing is right, if you are not garnering results or whatever, u dont need to stay. i stayed regardless of whether i manifested my shit instantly or not (which in the beginning was hard for me) because i believed in the philosophy, it resonated with me and it didn’t make me alienate my fellow man. however, if you feel you have a chance of being manipulated here or idk what, don’t join this practice. seriously, it’s okay. i am not being sarcastic or anything, because you are welcome to stay or leave. you are welcome to compliment me or insult me. i will love you either way for you are my fellow man.
Tumblr media
also this is so random and a general thing but only psychoanalytic/psychodynamic psychologists use the subconsciously thing.

Because people seem to keep interpreting what I'm saying as trying to set rules for or censor authors, and I wanted to lay out my philosophy on ethical writing and media criticism in plain language. There are three broad pillars to how I approach it, which are below:
1) Authors are responsible for the content of their own work. There is a tendency to frame the adjudication of the ethics/morals/"goodness" of work as being essentially extrensic and reactionary--an author puts out a work and then people criticize it, and avoiding that criticism is the main reason why an author might try to avoid "bad things" in their stories. As a writer, I start from the other direction: I am always first and foremost responsible for what I write down in my story, and I have a responsibility to minimize the harm that work may do because I am a human being who lives in this world, not because someone might yell at me for it.
2) Any published work is open for critique. To me, there is a fundamental difference between writing something and publishing it, and once an author intentionally makes their work public, it can legitimately be criticized. This doesn't mean harassment, it doesn't mean flames, it doesn't mean being mean or petty or cruel. It doesn't even necessarily mean directing the critique at the author. But calling out racism or misogyny or ableism or simply critically discussing the content and message of a work is no less legitimate for a fanfiction than it is for an original published work, just as calling it out for a self-published work is no less legitimate than it is for one that went through a publisher. Things like readership/reach, cultural context, and other individuals involved can and should all be taken into account, but they don't make a work ineligible to be viewed critically.
3) Communities should have standards. I take the Nazi at the bar approach to community standards: when we welcome racists/misogynists/transphobes/etc. into our communities, then they become racist/misogynist/transphobic/etc. communities. And community standards are hard and nebulous and won't look the same thing everywhere, but there are ways that we can do them even on largely unmoderated places like AO3 and Tumblr. This is things like blocking people who express racist views, or not reccing misogynist stories, or standing up for Black fans or Fans of Color or disabled fans etc. Communities can say, we won't welcome Nazis in our communities. We won't welcome racists in our communities. We will ice them out, block them, not engage positively with their work.
Note that I didn't say start moderating AO3 or burning all the books that don't match our ethics. I'm talking about communities (fandoms, romance novel BookTok, whatever) taking responsibility for themselves and moving away from the idea that we can't have any say in who is in our community because it's the equivalent of censorship.
Every time people defend the presence racism in fandom, they make fandom less safe and welcoming to Fans of Color. Every time they defend antisemitism in the romance community, they make it less safe and welcoming to Jewish fans. That is what community standards are about.

Hello,
I am the system that first pointed out snowchester-system's racism here on Tumblr. I want to say something to everyone who was affected by their actions, whether it be the racist actions, the RAMCOA/OEA bait, or both at the same time.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that we as a community are devastated by the bait account's actions, either because we fell for it or because we are acutely aware of the harm they have caused.
If you believed them and are now hurt, know that your feelings are valid. Many of us are vulnerable survivors and may miss the signs of dishonesty. It is not your fault. If anyone wants to let out their grievance, my DMs and asks are open.
I cannot overstate that their actions are inexcusable. Every bait account blog that is coming out as bait has a responsibility to take accountability for their actions. I acknowledge that many won't, but it's the truth nonetheless.
For systems of color, especially Latino systems, this message is for your specifically: you did not deserve to have your language and culture mocked. I speak as a Latina system when I say that I'm beyond disgusted that these bait accounts didn't see the harm in being discriminatory towards our community in their goals. Our culture is rich, expressive, and valuable. Our culture never deserved to be made a mockery, especially in a community that has deep trauma. As I've stated before, anyone affected by these bait blogs' actions is welcome in my DMs or my Tumblr asks.
I think it's important to dispell some of the myths these accounts have made. Here are some of the highlights:
1. You can be racist against an ethnic group you're also a part of. This is called internalised racism. Snowchester-system claims to be Puerto Rican and therefore cannot be racist against Mexicans. Pushing negative stereotypes against Mexicans is still a racist action. Being Puerto Rican does not change this.
2. Scripts are rarely used because of the time and resources they require. They take a long time to input into a child and an even longer time to develop a useable script at all. Many groups do not have the resources needed to implement a script into a child. Scripts also need to be implemented early. They cannot be implemented after the ages of 4-5 due to normal child development. A child at and after these ages will start to separate fantasy from reality and will likely be able to determine that the script being presented to them isn't real. For this reason, scripts need to be implemented starting very early, preferably very shortly after birth. When implementing a script, it needs to be uncomplicated, short, and believable to an infant. Long and complicated scripts are extremely unlikely to stick to a child.
3. Witsec is highly unlikely to move someone outside of the US due to jurisdiction complications. They also very much would not move someone to a country where international ties are fragile, like Mexico. People in Witsec are not allowed social media as this breaks anonymity and increases the risk of being discovered.
I highly encourage people to do their research if you suspect someone to be lying. These bait accounts are a tragedy for everyone involved, but we can still learn from it. I hope that as a community, we can all heal from this.
