This isn't related to my other recent posts. But for some reason, cowboy yang has been on my mind. There's something about It that gets to me. I have a whole au story planned out for this. You know, cowboy yang and Blake who recently moved from the city. I would write it if I had the confidence.

I'm gonna ignore the painful stuff in episode 7 and focus on Little's cute face!!!

holy shit the rwby anime is so hard to watch. I don't mind added context, but its like... really bad. I understand if people like it, but how can y'all watch this without feeling like they're driving every point home, when it doesn't need to be.

I feel like showing Weiss's family in the beginning gives her a sympathetic perspective, which she shouldn't have yet. And making Adam and Blake talk too much makes them lose their mysteriousness. And I really, really dislike how awkward all the dialogue is. And the delivery just feels so wrong. Maybe I should've watched the sub or something?

I can't get through the first episode, because its so heavy on exposition, and due to that, there is little atmosphere. While I've seen the original episode, the original first season a thousand times, and its much more satisfying.

I understand they need to fill more time within the episodes, but it feels like overkill in some parts. You can't even hear Ruby's music blaring through her headphones until she takes them off, and that bothers me. Also Torchwick in the scene, "dur hur maybe shE's a bEACon sTudEnT" LIKE WHAT! we don't need you saying this, you can be more observational or something. The line delivery is so bad for no reason.

Like clips and gifs I see are pretty of it, but I really prefer the original letting us fill in the gaps and blanks where they didn't state anything. I prefer when they show, not tell. I would like more RWBY content, but I'm not continuing to watch this one.
