Human Machine Interface? Definition(s): The hardware or software through which an operator interacts with a controller. An HMI can range from a physical control panel with buttons and indicator lights to an industrial PC with a color graphics display running dedicated HMI software. Human Machine Interface? HMI – Human Machine Interfaces The main difference is that SCADA is a remote monitoring system, where as HMI is local to machine. I think I find more angsty stuff for Ace to be more appealing to write as he's a fascinating character in how he interacts with Yuu in-game! But I think that if I had thought a bit more about Ace when coming up with PTM, he def would've been a lovely contender for the humor and hijinks in the fic! He seems like he'd be such a tsundere when it comes to romance, he's be so funny!

The cute dynamic with Damian and Anya is lovely and would really suit Ace best I feel!

I am essentially making each chapter the entirety of the Books, so chapter 1 is the prologue, chapter two is all of Book 1 and so on. Since they're such long chapters, I'm looking forward to writing Ace different to how he acts in canon.

There is something torturous for him though, you repeating certain actions, certain words, even the looks you give him. All they do is meld into one and cause him to have flashbacks.
