idk who needs to hear this but you don't need a supercomputer to run lbp in rpcs3 anymore. it runs fine (with a few visual artifacts and some shader stutter) on basically any modern gaming pc now.

i used to play this game so much when i was a wee lass but lost the disc ;-;

Started this one yesterday. Running about as well as AC4 in rpcs3, only with a couple more slowdowns during some more taxing missions with a lot of explosions and enemies. Also having a weird issue with emblems where they kinda glitch out when playing the arena mode (something that also happened in AC4, forgot to mention that in previous posts). The game itself has been rly good! Was a bit difficult to get used to at first since it's a far more challenging game than AC4, feels more on-par with some of the classic entries. Far more ambitious in terms of the level design, too. Just wishing I could've carried over a lot of what I acquired in the previous game besides the mecha schematics but ehh, maybe that would've made the early missions in this more of a cakewalk.

throwing this post out to see if any emulator people exist on tumblr...im using rpcs3 and i put the file of the game i want to play in the games file and it SHOWS UP in rpcs3 but when i try to play it all it says is "no bootable content found"...

Sony fucking sucks right now and I'm genuinely so disappointed at the shit Sony has been doing for the past 4 years. PS5 having barely any exclusives and the ones that do exist are not exciting at all, lack of game variety, general disrespect to their older titles that made them who they are today and not allowing their old fans to use their PS1 and PS2 discs to play on emulators that Sony have, despite Xbox allowing you to AT THE BARE MIMIMUM put in a disc and download a file. The Helldivers 2 disaster on PC, requiring PC players to sign in with a PSN account to play single player games meaning games like God of War Ragnarok and Ghost of Tsushima are getting pirated on a wide scale, their expensive accessories, the constant porting of the same titles OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN to PC and PS5 and not doing anything with their games that need support badly like Infamous, MotorStorm, Gravity Rush, Resistance, Twisted Metal, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Patapon, Loco Roco, Killzone, Puppeteer, i really could go on all fucking day if i wanted to.

Don't let the celebration distract you that you cannot play Infamous 1 and 2 on modern hardware. Some of the coolest PS3 games, you cannot play at all.

Ya boy can finally run RPCS3 which means my dear PS3 will be retiring… just as soon as I get that TOZX skit DVD delivered because I need my PS3 to rip it 😂

And yes, I was right, it was indeed cheaper to buy a PS3 and a TV than it was to buy a computer strong enough to emulate it.

I remember you said you wanted to emulate shadow the hedgehog on specifically halloween, how was it?

it was sonic unleashed; all went well though I had to twitch some RPCS3 settings for it to stop crashing, and I got stuck on tornado defence stage in ps3 version so I went and emulated ps2 version few days later, reaching way further than I probably ever would if I stayed and kept repeating that plane stage lol

Do you have lollipop chainsaw on a disc? I tried looking at the digital playstation store and I'm not seeing it 😢

ITS SO SAD it only works for ps3 and Xbox 360 😭😭 which I didnt have/was not allowed to play these games when I was 12 so I actually just watched a full playthrough of it and then did that over and over whenever I missed the game😔 most ppl use rpcs3 to emulate it though ! but you’ll have to play around with the settings FPS to be something ur pc can handle without being too much for it (lots of flashing unfortunately) IM PRAYING FOR YOU ITS SUCH A SILLY GAME I WISH MORE PPL KNEW ABT IT
