SPRING 2024 ANIME RECOMMENDATIONS
The anime industry needs to chill the fuck out. Literally stop. This isn't your heart.
If you somehow have time left over after the 86,000 returning series this season, watch these new cartoons also.
---
ZACK’S RECOMMENDATION #1: Kaiju No. 8
For the sake of full disclosure, I ended up dropping this manga after about a year when due to a number of reasons I had to play catch-up on a bunch of Jump and Jump+ titles. I ultimately decided cuts needed to be made and this was one of them, but I made that cut with the full knowledge that it would eventually get a kick-ass anime and I was right because I’m always right.
The anime looks better than I’d hoped and sounds better than I imagined. The background music sounds like something from a blockbuster movie, and I mean that as a compliment, considering that's basically what it is. Even if you’re not really into kaiju, this is still worth checking out. Unless you’re allergic to beautiful animation and/or poop jokes.
ZACK’S RECOMMENDATION #2: A SALAD BOWL FULL OF ECCENTRICS
This series became a lock for my recommendation this season (even over the train anime, which is very good and you should also watch) the moment I discovered it’s based on a light novel by the same guy who wrote Haganai and A Sister’s All You Need. I’ve never read any of the novels in question because I’m illiterate but I enjoy both of those anime very much (though I will admit that the latter is not for everyone). Haganai transed my gender and for that reason alone I will support Yomi Hirasaka (by watching and recommending anime adaptations of his books. Alas! if I could only read) ‘til my dying day.
This was a solid premier on its own merits, as well. The characters are fun and likeable, the jokes land pretty much every time (at the very least, I can’t immediately think of any that didn’t), and reverse isekai stories are still uncommon enough to be fun. There is the unfortunately ever-present concern that Our Hero will turn out to be a sex pest, but based on Hirasaka’s track record I’m not too worried about that. Really, more than Haganai or A Sister’s All You Need, the anime this premier kept making me think of the most was Hanamatsuri (side note: you should watch Hanamatsuri.)
Also, look at her. She’s reading Detective Conan. I’m reading Detective Conan. That’s so cool of both of us.
---
CHARLIE’S RECOMMENDATION #1: Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Cheat Powers
Fairly standard fare for the cozy isekai sub-genre, but it’s a decent way to spend half an hour, if you don’t mind the harem aspects.
CHARLIE’S RECOMMENDATION #2: Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again
It was fine, I guess. Watched it because the premise seemed cute, and I wasn’t wrong. Felt like a short comic but animated, and the art was good. Really wish they didn’t have family members lusting after the grandparents, though.
---
FEN’S RECOMMENDATION #1: Route of Odd Taxi
FEN’S RECOMMENDATIONS #2: Train to the End of the World & The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio

So anyways guess who just came back from an *checks watch* 8 hour hike
#On my old blog I once mentioned hiking with my father and how long it always takes#And how much I hated it as a kid#They thought I was exaggerating the numbers#I was not#We set out at 10:30 and now it's 7#But to be fair we ate dinner at a restaurant#And the owner drove us back the last ~10 km#When we sat out a taxi driver pulled over asked where we are going and then proceeded to telk us we shouldn't walk that#Because it's 15 km to the tourist trap he thought we were going to#But we went 2km further and then up a mountain#Got amazing pictures out of it#But climbing the mountain took an hour. Getting down took longer#Now imagine I wasn't 20 but 7 (the age I was when I first took this route with my father)#I know this is oversharing but I exhausted and proud of myself and fucking sweaty#Can't believe we did this every second day#Luckily my father's knees are awful now so he can't do it every second day either

Haridwar Pod Taxi Route, Map, Speed, Stop and Ticket Price
Uttrakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced Haridwar Pod Taxi services, but many local traders object to the pod taxi service. Over the years, there has been a continuous increase in the number of…

Navigating Bangalore with City Cabs and Reliable Cab Services
Bangalore, often referred to as the Silicon Valley of India, is a city that never sleeps. Whether you're a resident or a visitor, the city’s vibrant culture, booming tech industry, and diverse attractions make it a place where getting around efficiently is essential. With its sprawling layout and heavy traffic, having access to reliable transportation is a must. This is where City cabs in Bangalore and various cab services in Bangalore come into play, offering the perfect solutions for your travel needs within the city.
The Role of City Cabs in Bangalore
City cabs in Bangalore have become an integral part of the urban transportation network. They provide an essential service for people who need to move quickly and comfortably from one part of the city to another. Whether you're heading to work, a meeting, a shopping spree, or a night out, city cabs offer a convenient and reliable way to get around.
One of the key advantages of using city cabs is the availability and accessibility. With numerous cab operators in the city, you can book a ride almost instantly through mobile apps or by calling a cab service directly. This is particularly useful during rush hours when finding other modes of transport can be challenging.
City cabs also offer a level of comfort that is often lacking in public transportation. The vehicles are usually well-maintained, air-conditioned, and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a pleasant ride. This makes them an ideal choice for those who value convenience and comfort, especially during Bangalore’s hot and humid weather.
Moreover, city cabs are a safer option, especially for late-night travel. The drivers are professional and knowledgeable about the city’s routes, which ensures that you reach your destination safely and on time. For women and solo travelers, this level of security is particularly reassuring.
Variety and Flexibility with Cab Services in Bangalore
Cab services in Bangalore go beyond just city cabs. They offer a variety of options to cater to different needs and preferences. Whether you need a cab for a short ride within the city, a luxury vehicle for a special occasion, or an outstation trip, Bangalore's cab services have got you covered.
One of the major benefits of using cab services in Bangalore is the flexibility they offer. You can choose from a range of vehicles, from economical sedans to premium SUVs, depending on your budget and requirements. Many cab services also offer hourly rental packages, which are perfect if you need a cab for multiple stops or want to explore the city at your own pace.
For business travelers, cab services provide an efficient way to move between meetings, conferences, and other professional engagements. The availability of corporate packages and subscription services makes it easier for companies to manage transportation for their employees, ensuring they can travel comfortably and on time.
Families and tourists can also benefit from the wide range of cab services available in Bangalore. With options for larger vehicles and multi-stop itineraries, you can easily plan a day of sightseeing or a weekend getaway without worrying about the logistics of transportation.
Additionally, cab services in Bangalore are known for their punctuality and reliability. Whether you book a ride in advance or need one on short notice, you can count on the cab to arrive promptly and get you to your destination without any hassle. This level of dependability is particularly important in a city like Bangalore, where traffic conditions can be unpredictable.
Why Choose City Cabs and Cab Services in Bangalore?
The primary reasons to choose city cabs in Bangalore and cab services in Bangalore are convenience, reliability, and variety. In a city as dynamic as Bangalore, having access to a dependable mode of transportation can make all the difference in your day-to-day life.
City cabs are ideal for those who need quick and easy transportation within the city, offering a comfortable and safe ride for both short and long journeys. They are particularly useful for daily commuters, tourists, and anyone who values convenience.
On the other hand, cab services provide a more tailored experience, allowing you to choose the type of vehicle and service that best suits your needs. Whether you're looking for an economical ride or a luxurious one, these services cater to a wide range of preferences and budgets.
Moreover, with the integration of technology, booking a cab has never been easier. Many cab services in Bangalore have user-friendly apps that allow you to book a ride, track your cab in real-time, and make payments online. This seamless experience adds to the overall convenience and makes getting around the city a breeze.
Conclusion
Bangalore’s fast-paced lifestyle and vast urban sprawl require a transportation system that is both efficient and reliable. City cabs in Bangalore and cab services in Bangalore provide exactly that, ensuring that you can navigate the city with ease. Whether you're commuting to work, heading out for leisure, or planning a trip outside the city, these services offer the perfect solution to meet your travel needs.
With their comfort, convenience, and flexibility, city cabs and cab services are the go-to choice for anyone looking to get around Bangalore quickly and safely. So the next time you find yourself in need of a ride, consider booking a city cab or a specialized cab service to experience the best that Bangalore has to offer.
