20.) Gah, I love all the tmnt music so much, you have no idea. The '03 theme is a major bop, I hardly ever skip it. The full-length version of the Rise theme has some neat lyrics and musical moments. My absolute favorite, if this counts, is the theme from the Out of the Shadows soundtrack. It's a loud, high-energy remix of the '87 theme with good vocals, an epic rap, a sick guitar solo, and go ninja go ninja go. It's got it all.

21.) I loved Big Brawl in '03! Also, Rise's Tales of the Hidden City. I enjoy it when characters start in the same place, have separate adventures during which they occasionally cross paths or subtly reference what the others are up to, and all end up back together. It's like one of those kid activity pages where you follow the jumbled, squiggly lines from one side to the other.

28.) Mikey, Raph, and Leo's adventures in the Ultimate Drako arc! Since I only just watched it, I haven't gone looking for fanworks about it yet. I'm sure they exist, but I haven't seen as many come up as I do for SAINW. I'm equally intrigued by the potential for exploring or drawing out the others' time in their respective universes and imagining the after-effects.

Does Mikey think often about The Sliver? About how he helped the superturtles kill their father, a twisted mirror of his own? How does his experience affect the way he superheros? How does it affect his relationship with the Justice Force? With villains? With comics? Maybe I just haven't read enough '03 fics yet, but I LOVE Turtle Titan and want so much more of him, in general.

I talked a little about Raph and the planet racers in my reaction post, and @terrahlee-cup added some excellent thoughts. He was there for three days!! So much potential for in-between moments. Let him interact with the other racers, talk shop, show off his ninja skills, or just walk around freely. Did he throw himself into learning the strange mechanics and designs of his temporary bike to keep himself busy between races instead of running himself ragged, worrying about his family? Did he look for a way out on his own or force himself to focus only on the race, hoping that if he kept his end of the deal, so would Methania and Falcon? Surely he won't be all angst back home. Maybe, in true sibling fashion, he shoves it in Mikey's face: 'Oh, you won the battle nexus tournament? Well, I won a death race across an entire alien planet!' Maybe he goes right back to upgrading the shell cycle alongside Casey with a million new ideas. Maybe he ropes Don into discussions about how mechanical engineering differs across dimensions due to divergences or advancements in scientific knowledge or even different laws of physics.

And gosh, Leo must have felt so uneasy traveling in broad daylight in Usagi's world. Plus, it must have really stung to face prejudice not for his appearance (something he expected and had prepared for with humans) but because of his ninja training and heritage, something he so proudly cultivated and dedicated himself to. How did he feel at the Nexus, knowing he nearly sent Raph plummeting to his death as he tried and failed to return his family to him with the war staff?

what’s funny too is this makes two years in a row turtles are my number 1 on my spotify wrapped (last year’s was even funnier bc the rottmnt theme song was number 1 and i didnt start watching rise until august, so the theme song shot up to my number 1 spot within a couple months lol)

Favorite scene in the Rise movie and why?

Hooo boy, oh MAN. UHMM. This is gonna be semi-hard to answer bc I love the entire gat dang movie. But! I love the scene where they all unlock their powers again together. The music is just so impactful and Leo’s speech just moves me so much when he says “he hasn’t seen what we can do… when we fight together!”

Like GOD I just. I could cry right now just thinking about it. I’m a big musical score person in general too so like. If the music is good and hits in all the right places, I’m automatically going to feel extra certain ways about that scene it plays in. 🥹😭❤️💙💜🧡

While on that note… this also makes Leo’s sacrifice scene really good to me too. As much as it HURTS (and man does it hurt), that scene is burned into my brain forever. 😭💙 that’s my boy, and he realized all the right things at all the wrong times. It’s literally a miracle he’s alive. He shouldn’t be. Ugh UGH MAN. It’s good. It’s so good. The moment the music cuts out super soft when the camera hits Donnie will always cut me extra deep. HNNNN THE BOYS. THE BABIES. THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH I JUST WANNA SQUEEZE THEM.

(And bc im also a sucker for action, the four brothers fighting Krang Prime is so juicy! So good! I love the extended animatic even more, I watch it all the time. I just love seeing them fight and work together so effortlessly, it’s delicious, I eat it up.)

Good morning? Good after or goodnight! Hope you’re having a wonderful day! I have 2 scenarios that came to mind, so I’ll let you pick whatever you want, whatever makes you imagination, imagine.

Scenario 1- the turtles have an s/o that’s like really good at something they love, like amazing at this, but s/o dose not like doing this and sees it more like some sort of chore. Due to the fact the parents made them do if from really young age, makinh them quite any other things and or hang outs, parties or anything else as they where expected to put 110% into this, they are good at it not because they want to, but because they had no choice but to be good at it.

for the things the s/o is really good at:

for Donnie it could be something to do with robotics, or coding

for mikey someyhung to do with cooking or ballet.

For Raph something with boxing, wrestling or some sort of martial arts

And for Leo maybe something with modelling, or icon.

Scenario 2-there a/o is a yokai, maybe like a rabbit or a weasel so when winter comes they just start turning white, how would they react? Would they freak out? Would they find it cool? Or even annoying at the fact fue is everywhere?

Squealed when he saw you.

He almost fainted, he thought someone had broken in until he saw your face.

When you explained that you were molting due to winter, you could see his shoulders drop in relief.

Gives you lots of scratches during your naps to get the extra fur off, he doesn't wanna make you itchy while awake.

If he hears you purring/clucking in your sleep, he knows he's not doing anything wrong.

Still, a little freaked out. But hey, you changes colors, that's cool in his eyes!

Leo

Genuinely fell over when he first witnessed you molting.

You had to repeat yourself a few times while explaining, you weren't sure if he was listening or not due to how surprised he was.

Whenever he leans in for a smooch, immediately starts to cough, he ALWAYS forgets molting includes free fur everywhere.

Please god why is there so much FUR.

Once tried to use his swords to cut off the extra fur.

It didn't end well. Thank god it was in a spot that wasn't noticeable.

Donnie

Already knew beforehand but seeing it in action is fascinating.

How many times are your lab privileges going to get revoked, reader?

Aside from the lab, you are to go for a shower before you cuddle or touch him at all.

Fur is nice sensory wise but, fur that isn't attached to you is prickly and icky.

After you molt, expect him to cling to you like a magnet. New fur equals heaven.

If he isn't hanging out with you, he's hanging out with Donnie. So, of course he knew!

Still a little freaked out.

He actually adores the loose fur everywhere, it smells like you!

This is called "What Remains". The concept is that Cass turned into a zombie and still tried to raise Casey Jr, which is why he is feral, but after Cass was finally put to rest after years of suffering, she leaves behind Casey Jr and her partner, Raph.

Casey Jr and Raph are each other's only family now, the ghost of Cass haunting them from beyond.
