Hi there! C: Prompt 8 and 11 for Akos, please!

HELLO!! (and ty for the ask!!)

Akos is a ride and die ex soldier, so he spends a lot of his spare time sparring! Whether he's out getting his ass handed to him by Dinraal(or Mipha) or beating the snot out of a striking dummy cause he had a bad day, that's mostly what he does!

As for 11, I'm sure I've talked everyones ear off about it by now, but Akos is a character I made for DnD, HOWEVER. My actual inspiration behind him was I really wanted to be able to just break the mold of a typical LoZ character. Thats why he specializes in fire magic, as a zora lol When i was talking to my dm about the kind of class i wanted, i mentioned the kind of badass freedom of a class called a Bloodhunter in standard 5e, mentioning it reminds me of the Witcher. I wanted to be able to use weapons and magic both. His actual design was kinda silly because i asked my dm how much creative freedom he'd let me have, and he basically said "go ham kid" so i absolutely did. Koi fish are what he's properly based off of, but his actual body proportions and designs i had loosely based off of twilight princess' zora (now he's kinda somewhere in the middle of TP and BotW/TotK). I wish I had an answer why Koi fish, but I'm pretty sure it was purely to match the fire theme I was going for without making him a gold fish, as much as his companions call him one lol

He was actually almost a Male Gerudo, If you want that full backstory on his creation 🤣 I sometimes think about how that would have been. But I like akos how he is now :D (this is one of the first drawings i did of him actual years ago, and had no idea how zora anatomy in general worked LOL)

Coincidentally, and to my shock haha, the author decided to drop the last four chapters while I was drawing this. Sitting there after reading the lovingly crafted ending and finally re-drawing the first TWSB fanart I ever made felt very poetically well-fitting for the occasion! Thank you to Sookym, and all of the friends and fellow readers that I have followed along with on this journey for the past few years!!

I'm very excited for the side stories and the webtoon that is coming back for season 2 on the 30th (and with a new adaptation team)! I hope to continue drawing art for this beloved series for longer too!! 🙌
