I hate john gauis so fucking much. it's not even any of his crimes, his vibes are just abhorrent. quirk chungus acting mother fucker. everytime he opens his mouth he either lies or comes in with some "well that just happened" quip. I bet he would groom his partners into doing weird kink shit they weren't comfortable with, if he was a teacher his relationships with the awkward girls who try really hard at school would be borderline innapropriate. No I haven't read Nona the Ninth, that will not change my mind, I don't care if we find out he's was a veteran firefighter who defeated robo-hitler, his vibes are still ghastly and i want him gone.

actually i think it's interesting that practically everyone's interpretation of valentino is that he has severe substance abuse issues & is high 50% of the time, when in the show he's shown disparagingly talking about addicts in a way that implies he doesn't see himself as one. and i'm not using "interesting" as a substitute for "oh boy do i fucking hate this" i just genuinely think it's fascinating. the juxtaposition of him looking down on addicts while refusing to acknowledge his own substance abuse problems is direly under explored and it's like, Right There. it's prime character study material

“Stop muttering, Russell, I’m sure Wellington hates it when you mutter,” Alex teased, trying to control the strange flutter of anxiety in his throat.

“The way he looks at you!” George snapped, something like anger in his voice, speaking a little too loudly for a public park, even if there was no one quite near. “It isn’t seemly.”

Like??? There's not even any dialog really it's just Emmrich being like- "he gives me kisses and hugs every day and gifts me flowers and alchemical ingredients 🥺🥺🥺" and fantasizing about being married to him and waking up next to him every morning like DAMN. Emmrich you got it bad. You're down horrendous.
