I might as well declare this month not only Pride Month and the month of Juneteenth, but also Michael Jackson month when all day, any day not just the anniversary alone is dedicated to the King of Pop.
Listening to his music
Finding facts about him that you never knew before.
Watching his past performances and movies.
Anticipating for the creation of his biopic, his nephew portraying the King.
The musical and how well it played.
Anything in dedication to the King.
It’s been fifteen years now. Fifteen years since the legend continues to be one even when no longer present in our mortal lives.
Once more: Thank you for everything, Michael Joseph Jackson. May you continue to rest and shine in the heavenly afterlife.
Still miss Michael :( did these to remember him today when we lost him in 2009. I'm still glad he was there when President Obama was inaugurated. Just wish we didn't lose him that year.
Happy 40th anniversary to Thriller! Biggest selling album of all time. 8 Grammys ( most in a single night ). Victory Tour. Thriller music video. The greatest era of all time.
Remembering Michael Jackson since June 25, 2009 🙏🏿😇🕊️
When I was in 8th grade in middle school, I used to dress as Michael Jackson for a history project/wax statue project. I was rocking the outfit, the hat, and the glove 😇🤟🏿
Today is a hard day for us all. This is a day that we dread, but I also find comfort in today as well. Michael suffered so much, and for so long. The media, the press, his health, everything. He truly had a rough go, but he stuck it out. His whole life he gave everything he had. To his children, his fans, his family, his shows, his pets, and his friends. He truly wanted to see a deep change in the world and he make that change.
Part of me believes he isn't gone, but rather he found a way to disappear and live a privet life of solitude. And he deserves it. As much as I want him to come back, if he has found a way to live a peaceful life, I hope he can stay safe wherever he is. But also, it would not be a bad thing if he really did pass. We must remember all the pain he was in. He was truly suffering. His health, both physically and mentally. He was in so much pain, and I just pray he has found peace.
But no matter what, I truly believe the signs he had been giving us all along, This ISN'T It!
There will never be another Michael Jackson and i am so grateful for his life and he dedicated it to bring joy and peace and it all came from his beautiful heart, thank you Michael for loving us the way you did
