Jason was frustrated, he had the urge to tug and pull at his hair. He never fought with Leo this badly before. Leo was the type of person no one would ever argue with, he never wasted energy on something that could be communicated. If he had, the arguments were nothing short of jokes and harmless jabs.

Communication wasn’t something that came easily to Jason Grace. Born and raised to hold his tongue, never say anything out of life, his thoughts and feelings and his emotions weren’t important nor necessary.

However that never flew with Leo and Jason had no choice.

He’d lose Leo before ever having him and for once in his miserable, solemn life, Jason refused to let that happen.

He grabbed Leo’s wrist and spun him around. Jason cradled Leo’s face in his palms and brought him close that he kissed him with all his power.

Jason’s ears and his face were shot to hell with how hot he felt, his body was jittery like he drank ten cups of coffee in one sitting. His stomach tossed and turned, flipped and fell as butterflies invaded his body and mind.

Leo’s lips were soft and he knew then, that’s what the sun would taste like.

His touch was warm and he knew that’s what home felt like.

Jason pulled away in a daze, pressing his forehead against Leo’s. He whispered, “Nothing could ever describe how much I feel for you. I can’t— I can’t put it into words the way you want me to but I can show you. You’re everything to me, Leo Valdez. Everything.”
