WIP tarot card troubles???

hello anon!! this has been a popular one so i hope everyone enjoys it <3

i'm still hammering out the nuts and bolts of this new wip but it's pre-buddie fic where they get abducted by a serial killer who is staging their victims to look like the major arcana of a tarot deck

Why can’t he remember? He had gone to work and then he had— he had…he can’t remember. Fizzing static filling the space where he thinks memories should be. Pushing his forehead into the hard surface underneath him, Buck tries to think— he tries to sort through the tangled mess of fleeting sensations and hazy thoughts. He has to remember. He has to!  Why can’t he remember?  The panic is fully lodged in the spaces between his ribs, constricting his chest and making his heart ache.  Come on— it feels like it’s right on the edge of his awareness, a prickling at the base of his skull, something perched right on the tip of his tongue. Remember, remember, rememberrememberremember— Buck gasps, the taste of dust and dirt coating his tongue.  Eddie.

vol 4 summary

RIGHT! SUMMARY!

nny pretty much has a mental breakdown (or is really starting to crack down on his bullshit), and nailbunny is like lol stop being such an edgy piece of shit, do you even remember who you were before this? and nny is like do you? also he used to be an artist but it devolved into happy noodle boy

so he’s pretty much lost the will to kill, or at least the motivation. 

devi is paranoid that he’s following her, and her friend suggests they call him, and she thinks he wont pick up. remember

cut back to nny being depressed, and then he sets up a contraption that is designed to kill him. the gun is connected to the phone, which will go off if he picks up the receiver. the doughboys argue and then nny lashes out at them, and while they’re all yelling, the phone rings (rememberrememberremember), so he picks it up and is like “,,,,hewwo” and bing bang there he goes. and now he’s dead.

So!! from this and onward i remember what happens (mostly), but the end is still completely gone from my brain so!! very excited for what’s next. :)

Always, coz i have a memory for faces and no memory for names. so i'll stare at a show and think "i know that person i know that person where do i know them from where have i seen them i know i've seen them but wherewherewherewhere?" and until IMDB became commonplace, i'd have to sit there staring at the screen in distracted fascination as my brain would run in circles trying to rememberrememberremember until i'd leap up and shout "YES! SHE WAS THE BLONDE IN SHAUN OF THE DEAD!!" One time, on Doctor Who, I recognized an actor by the general shape of his head because I had seen him under heavy makeup and prosthetics on Torchwood. and a third time, a set of evil gnashy bitey teeth let me recognize the actress in CSI that I had previously seen on Xena Warrior Princess.

do you have to google every single actor every time you watch something because you swear you've seen them in something else and you need to know what it was or are you normal
