Falling asleep on the couch in the middle of watching Bushido X with Kerry for what felt like the hundredth time was not on V's list of things to do. But life had been exhausting lately, so she supposed she deserved it. Both of them did, really. When V opened her eyes, the sky outside was still full of stars, and the moon still hung overhead. She could only reason it had to be some ungodly early hour of the morning, based on the fact that the movie had finished playing, probably quite a while ago. She fidgeted, trying to get comfortable once more, and didn't realize Kerry was awake too. "V?" "We did it again." She joked quietly, leaning farther back into her boyfriend's chest. "Yeah, we did. So what?" Kerry reasoned, tossing an arm around V's waist. "I think we deserved a little break."

THIS TURNED OUT SO MUCH BETTER THAN I"D HOPED IT WOULD

Some parts look a little wonky, this was basically a redraw of this picture, the scene outside the window looks less like landscaping at a fancy mansion on the outskirts of a big city and more like a green pasture, the "city light glow" effect looks a lil weird, but I digress.

I still love this.

BASICS Full Name : Veronica Frost Nicknames : V. Or, if you know her from her occasional attempts at her rockerboy dreams, Valkyrie.  Age : 23 Appearance : V stands at 5'6" with a more athletic frame. Her hair is typically dyed green, with a streak left in of her normal hair color. her hair reaches her mid back when left down, but is often pulled back to stay out of her face. Fair skin, blue-green eyes. She tends to lean toward a more utilitarian, practical clothing style, of course with the cyberpunk twist. Occupation : mercenary Backstory : From street kid to corpo, sitting pretty in Ara.saka tower. She enjoyed her status, and being among the one percent did Veronica good. And Veronica figured out her role could be used to help her family, to give the Valentinos a little freedom under 'Saka. And then Veronica took a job she shouldn't have, her boss asking her to make one of his rivals disappear. Veronica was discovered, and intimidated into silence. After that she made it into the world of mercenaries in Ni.ght City. Veronica and one of her closest friends, J.ackie W.elles, became relatively well known among the mercs in town, and got a few rather high paying jobs. Then, the pair got a job from the fixer Dexter DeS.hawn, to go after something stored in Ko.npecki Plaza. The gig went sideways, and after sending an injured Jackie to Viktor to get patched up, V went to deliver the chip she had retrieved. She was betrayed by Deter, however, and despite thinking that would be the end of her life, it was only the beginning. The only downside? Waking up with a dead rockstar she may or may not have idolized as a kid nagging in her ear.
