when you have one scene written SO CLEARLY and WELL in your head (and in a google doc) where you actualy cooked SO HARD but in order to explian wtf is going on you kmow you would realisticaly need 10-15 chapters of backround information and worldbuilding and you don't have the motivation to write most of it. LIKE CAN I PLEASE JUST PROJECT MY SILLY LITTLE PICTURES INTO Y'ALLS HEAD???

here's an exerpt becuse i love you (and i need to post it or i'm gonna go insane. this scene is subject to change)

I swung, the spear ripping the skin across his ribs and tearing his shirt further. A bloom of red spread through his pale scarred skin. He dropped his spear. Both of his hands went to his wound, as his eyes widened. The marble underneath our feet started humming. I dropped my spear.

He took my face in his hands, and kissed me like it was the last thing he’d ever do. I gripped the back of his head, then my hands moved down to squeeze both of his shoulders.

On my face were two bloody handprints, from where remus grabbed me earlier. To anybody else, they looked like spoils of war, a sign of a fight. But to me they looked like a sign of absolute devotion.
