the door creaks open a little, revealing chris with nick and matt behind him. they tiptoe, the camera recording in matt's hand. you're sound asleep in bed, the fluffy blanket up to your nose. your eyelashes rest prettily against the pillow. chris puts his hand on your upper back, rubbing gently. your face is smushed in your pink-covered squishy pillow, chris grinning at your cuteness.

"baby.. baby..! hii my love" his smile only gets brighter as you stir awake and immediately grab for him like a child to its mother. chris sits down at the edge of the bed, brushing some hairs out of your face. you see the camera and furrow your eyebrows. you take in a breath while stretching your arms. "mmph.. what is it?" you sigh, yawning right after.

"you wanna do the soda challenge?" matt asks, trying not to laugh because you don't even drink soda. you whine, shoving your face into chris' lap. he rubs your back soothingly. "no i dont wanna, duh!" you matter of factly exclaim, your voice muffled by chris' leg.

nick chuckles. "but you can atleast try!" he attempts to persuade you, but it doesn't work. "nuh uh, lemme sleep." you shake your head, your hands unconsciously grabbing onto your boyfriend's pants. he leans down to kiss the top of your head as nick and matt walk out. he hears, "i told you so" and "yeah no shit but atleast we tried."

chris watches you begin to doze off. he quickly reminds you, "i gotta go wrap up the video, sugar."

you groan. "fine but hurry please." you move off his lap and get comfortable again on your pillow. he squeezes your ass, causing you to giggle quietly. "okay little lady. so bossy." he playfully teases and chuckles when you stick out your tongue.

I was actually thinking about the seven or the angels assigned on earth would eventually get corrupted by the sins or evil that is present there. Originally, I was thinking of their corruption like the one in noragami? When exposed to so much evil it would slowly corrupt them, making them sick and weird eyes would grow on their bodies of sorts and the few ways they can heal themselves are by cleansing themselves with holy water or if push comes to shove, like already borderline dangerous... Then a spell, a spell to separate the evil corrupting the angel. It has to be done by other angels as they need to lock the corrupted angel in a prison of sorts anddd forcefully separates the evil from the angel's body which could be very painful.

Also, yesss... Physical affections are one of her love languages and she often wears fashion that humans wear as she gets influenced by them and sometimes she gifts other of her close angel friends clothes too! [Y/n] and Michael often bonded over their need for coffee to function but she had to stop as it was making her go insane as she gets hyper lmao. Besides, she values her sleep. before i reblog, i want to give you ALL the flowers in the world. i just finished reading the monster of a fic called the great war and YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN. there are no words that can amount to how much i adore this fic. i love lengthy word counts done right (god knows how much long fics i got excited over before them being disappointing or boring as a reader) and i, most importantly, love enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, historical aus done right !!

okay. now that i can safely get that out of my system, LOVE LOVE LOVEEE everything about this fic. theres something so sweet abt men being written unrealistically (aka respectful and honorable whattt??? out of this world tbh) im joking ,, but i did absolutely love how you made cheol so strongly standing for his wife. the slow burn that really did the tag justice (it BURNT), the ENEMIES TO LOVERS DONE RIGHT!?! LIKE YESSS !!! they actually did want to kill each other and the yelling and arguing leading up to the first kissing scene CHEFS KISS like that's literally the epitome of writing, like is it really an e2l if there isn't a intensely written argument before the first sign of intimacy!?!?

throughout reading this story, all i could think abt was how could i ever put into the words the justice you served. allowing reader to be a strong character yet so eloquently bringing to light the struggles she would still face from just being a woman, to seungcheol using his power to stand FOR her. an honorary mention of the "Careful." he would reply to the Councillor after the panicking scene from the Florence mention INCREDIBLE!! it gave everything and more!! the character development from both sides, venus and mars foreshadowing, the subtleties that only slow burn could provide. i genuinely wish i could give a way better review than this but unfortunately im still speechless due to how beautiful this story was so just pls take this dreary review and understand that im so so in love and i adore you so much for the amount of work you put out into this, from the visuals and the descriptions, the perfect build up, the amazing writing of e2l and reflections– just EVERYTHING. you created a masterpiece <3
