Does prince Garrus have a "type" of person he's attracted to?

He does, actually. He admires strong women. Women who know what they want and the will to get it by any means necessary, even if those means aren’t necessarily physically centered. He doesn’t need a physical warrior because he knows there are women who can get things done without ever lifting a weapon, and yet, he has a feeling that they would if it came down to it. Fearless and determined - that’s the kind of woman he’s into.

How many times has he tried to have sex with someone before Jana?

I feel bad admitting this but he’s actually tried quite a few times over the years. It used to mostly be when he was younger and too stubborn to admit something was wrong, but rumor started spreading and he started getting flak from a particular family member about it, so he gradually stopped trying.

How would he describe his first time with Jana?

A surprise, but an absolutely mindblowing one. He admits that he fantasized about her in attempts to get off, but when she said she didn’t want anything, he stopped. He accepted her feelings and thought it unfair to think of her sexually when she made it clear she didn’t want to go that far with him because he didn’t just find her attractive, he loved her. It was her that came to him their first time and though he was completely lost about, well, everything, it was amazing. He’ll always remember it, even if it had turned out that it was a one-time thing (which we all know it wasn’t).

And for Castis, what first drew him to his mate?

I haven’t really spoken much about her because it plays into the story some, but he met his wife when she was a trainer for the falconry unit of the royal army. Castis was initially attracted to her, so he showed interest, but it’s in finding that she wasn’t afraid to put her foot down and tell the Atheling (Prince) that he was doing things wrong without fear is what really did him in. I guess you can say Garrus takes after him quite a bit.

Is there anything he does for her he'd never do for anyone else?

Well, he put his chances at the throne aside for her, if that’s what you’re asking. She was a way lower in the tier system than Hierarchy officials and dignitaries, and really only a few steps above a commoner. Castis’ father, Titus, threw an absolute fit when he found out about the two, but he eventually admitted he’d rather his only son take the throne than it go to his brother and his heirs (which happens to be Severus).
