Wonder Woman Villains - Queen Clea
I love Queen Clea and its kind of surprising she doesn’t get utilized more often. She is a great physical match for Wonder Woman and has a strong villain personality and a ruthless agenda that just leads to endless combat/conflict. And she’s an OG villain. I would love to see her pop up more often.
For her design I wanted her to be more warrior-esque and decided to pull more from her 40s color palette and make her metal plating bronze instead of gold. To be honest I still don’t know how I feel about this design. I may have gotten too detailed with it (it seems all my DC characters are on a shifting scale of stylization), or maybe the bronze just doesn’t look like I wanted it to, or maybe she needs more green and more saturation. I may have to revisit her again in the future once I sit on it.

Wonder Woman Villain Movie Ideas, Part XVI: Villainy Inc.
So, apparently Transformation Island is a thing, an island off of Themyscira where Wonder Woman abducts and takes many of her female villains to for them to be forcibly rehabilitated. That feels . . . a little problematic. Can I just leave that part out but keep the Wonder Woman villain teamup part. Though I suppose it might give them solid motivation for wanting to destroy Wonder Woman, and giving Diana herself something that she needs to own up to as a fault of her own. Hmm. Either way, Villainy Inc. was the first major teamup of Wonder Woman villains and the last story arc William Moulton Marston ever wrote. The Saturnian slaver Eviless was captured and taken to Transformation Island, where she formed an alliance with Cheetah, Giganta, Queen Clea, Blue Snowman, Zara, Hypnota, and Doctor Poison to lead a prison break. Other versions of the team have existed since, but this was the original.
Origin Movie: Considering there are eight villains here, starting with them feels a little bit rough. However, I guess if the implication that these are all evil-doers captured by various Amazons throughout history, whose breakout now threatens the peace of the world, it might work.
Sequel Movie: Again, a bit rough considering there are eight to work with here, and at least a few of them deserve full focuses to do justice on, but it could way to do a big mass intro for them all, with many of them going their separate ways to be major players in the future.
Finale Movie: Now, this is a good place to do it, maybe focusing on Cheetah and Giganta at least in earlier installments, while the others get small little tidbits about their backstory in their introductions.
Supporting Villain: I guess that kind of goes without saying. Though, if this is a later version where Circe or Doctor Psycho or Ares are the ones orchestrating the team's formation, then I suppose we have other ideas to work with.
Here are my rankings of them:
Finale Movie: A natural fit.
Supporting Villain: Pretty much the whole concept.
Origin Movie: The only way it could work not as a big finale event.
Sequel Movie: It's rough but it could work.
What do you think? Who should I cover next?

Lines From Stephen x Clea Fanfics I May Never Write (Out of Context) Post 164:
(Stephen finds Clea sleeping in a coffin like the one in Snow White. He approaches the coffin carefully and holds his hand over the glass to look for any energy signature.)
(It's at this time Stephen sees Clea's face, which is sad and in discomfort. His heart breaks seeing her this way.)
Stephen: What's happened to you Clea...?
Dream Queen: Ooooh!!! You're cute!
(Stephen looks up and sees a demonic looking women clad in a skin tight red suit and high heel boots standing several feet away from the coffin.)
Dream Queen: I can see why she likes you.
(Stephen is confused and so cautiously approaches her. There's something about her demeanor that's familiar to him.)
Stephen: Who are you...?
Dream Queen: Oh? You mean daddy didn't mention me to you? (Rolls her eyes.) Figures.
(Stephen stares at her, puzzled.)

Wonder Woman Villain Movie Ideas, Part IX: Queen Clea
Queen Clea is the queen of either Venturia or Aurania, a small kingdom of Atlantis, seeking to expand her power by conquering those around her. She came into conflict with Wonder Woman initially when she took Steve Trevor hostage and made him a slave in her gladiatorial arena, which she has done with most of the men in her kingdom. Despite her obvious connections, she has apparently never fought Aquaman in any major way, not even as a crossover with Wonder Woman, which, you'd think would be prime pickings there.
Origin Movie: Honestly, I'd love to see her as the connecting piece to a Wonder Woman/Aquaman crossover movie. Heck, in a Cinematic Universe where you maybe wanted to consolidate both major Greek God-related heroes, a crossover where the heroes of Athena and the heroes of Poseidon have to join forces to take down a mad queen trying to take over Atlantis and the surface world, it's got possibilities.
Sequel Movie: Alternatively, if you had already introduced Wonder Woman, say in the World War II setting or whatever, having a villain that forces her to face the world of Atlantis, maybe introducing Aquaman a bit here, she is also a good possibility.
Finale Movie: Or perhaps, in a series, or two, of Wonder Woman and Aquaman both exploring their connections to the various Greek Gods, bringing them together in a Wonder Woman/Aquaman finale could work well too.
Supporting Villain: The best place for her as a co-villain was if you were doing a Villainy Inc. movie, with Atlantis already established in previous movies, and then just a throwaway line about her being a mad queen the Amazons took down years before and imprisoned.
Here are my rankings of them:
Supporting Villain: Just because Villainy Inc. is a lot of fun.
Sequel Movie: Just because the origin might be doing too much work, so a sequel might be better.
Origin Movie: The crossover potential is too good.
Finale Movie: Honestly, I feel War of the Gods is the ultimate culmination of that series, but if we could do Clea along the way, that would be cool.
What do you think? Who should I cover next?
