8/10/23: The Arrival and Adventures of Gegg

Slimecicle Recap:

I’m crying for Gegg ;^; he's so silly and no one wants him around!

What started off as a silly Slimecicle stream ended off on a really heartfelt moment of Gegg talking to Bobby, and actually making a connection with him. The scene gave insight into Bobby's thought process and behaviors.

I only saw Bobby through q!Jaiden's eyes before, so now seeing his adventures outside of that makes me love getting to know him even more. I gotta say he was a pretty troubled kid in life. Happy and loved, yes, but spoiled by a platonic father and mother who praised him endlessly. He often acted violently towards others to loving support from q!Jaiden and q!Roier (not that they are bad parents; they were some of the better pairs, but perhaps were too supportive of their little Bobby). It got to a point where he would consistently act out in search of approval until violence was just the norm. He was always nice to q!Jaiden, but with just q!Roier he got fairly violent, probably from the type of adventures the two would go on day-to-day. His parents would refer to him as a “Mama's Boy.” 

Bobby's actions include:

•threatening to kill anything that moved

•burning things

•tasering and shooting people (his parents as well as eggs and other islanders)

•frequently getting into fights

It was a common greeting from Bobby to be punched or tasered (what a wild little guy).

But, Bobby did care about people! Just, kinda in his own angry way?

He was angry, yes, but we see a moment where he lets some of that anger go once he thought about how q!Charlie (q!Slimecicle) felt after Tilin’s death. Gegg explained how terrible it must’ve been for q!Charlie to live with his guilt. There was an incident where he accidentally killed the egg he was watching over, Tilín, who was not only his daughter’s best friend, but his niece as well. Then, when leaving to go into exile to ensure he wouldn't hurt anyone else and saying goodbye to his daughter, Juanaflipa, she would die soon after. Gegg and Bobby would hangout atop a hill by q!Roier's house and talk for a bit before parting ways. The last sign Gegg was going to post originally said, 

"I really hope you make it", but he would change his words and write just, “Gegg”, not wanting to give away his real identity or maybe feeling his words were not appropriate. Part of me wishes he had said it. Maybe Bobby would've taken those words to heart the next few days after…

Bobby would die while exploring a dungeon with q!Roier on a notably laggy day on the server, ending his 2nd and final life.

BTW, Gegg is q!Charlie. It's uh… a bit of backstory.

So, he turned himself into an egg to be loved as one and also grieve for his daughter, Juanaflipa, who recently died. It started as a scheme between him and another player, q!Quackity. They devised using this “egg costume” to get close to players and steal from them, but as soon as Gegg was introduced, Charlie would forget he wasn't actually an egg and is continuing to live as Gegg while saying he is still in exile. It turned into a story of a father’s grief and the coping mechanisms he turns to to deal with the pain and…

I am

so invested in this Egg Minecraft series.

I used to not understand SMPs, there was once a time where friends and I made fun of DSMP fans for liking the silly minecraft rp…

But, oh man, I get it now:

This series is really cool and I'm so here for the story and characters and overall silliness that happens.

THE MEETING Recap

Quackity was in a small dark room. He talked to Pepito. Neither of them knew where they were, but Quackity thought he knew what was going on, and he shared his theory with Pepito.

Cucurucho entered the room and led the two out in the hall. Quackity asked if Pepito was going to be okay, to which it replied with “maybe”. Quackity told Pepito to stay close and asked for permission to have a private conversation with the child, which Cucurucho allowed. They wanted to protect each other.

As they were walking, Quackity tried to ask some questions, but didn’t get any answers. At one point Quackity stopped dead in his tracks, and demanded that Cucurcho promise that they wouldn't hurt Pepito and that a “maybe” wasn’t going to cut it. Cucurucho replied with “You seek information. We will give you information.”

Quackity was led into a bunny worker’s office, where he was greeted by the official themselves. Quackity walked inside with great hesitation, but once sat in the chair, confidently asked what he wanted to know.

He learned that Mr. Bunny was assigned by board of directors as replacement for Mr. Duck. He was shown the map of the island. Quackity asked why they kept looking for him; Cucurucho replied that he was a useful asset.

The worker then addressed Quackity directly, talking about how people he loved were absent. Quackity asked who they were talking about, confused. The worker said that Quackity had no choice to accept, unless he wanted to lose love.

Quackity was tasked with greeting the new island resident, threatening to hurt Pepito and “the person [Quackity] loves” were he to not meet Federation’s standards. He was told to show the new resident how good the island was and how happy everyone was, as well as to keep them alive.

Quackity signed the book. He was then given a ticket specifying the new resident’s arrival information, including the time Quackity was to meet them at the station. Quackity wasn’t too happy about having to be there at 7:30 am. It was then clarified that Quackity wasn’t to show the ticket to anyone, and after some final conversing, Quackity and Pepito were led outside.

Quackity warned Pepito not to trust Cucurucho and gave him the map. He then used a sign to say that they could show it to someone when the time was right. They then walked home.

Tubbo's "Return" Summarized (Feb 22):

-Didn't realize he was gone for a week; thought it was only a day or so

-Has something he wants to do but doesn't know what it is; described himself as "having one piece missing"

-Insisted he is alive and human to an odd extent (implications that he is not fully human)

-Hates loud noises

Showed fear and nervousness at the prospect of loud noises

Persistent noise not loud enough to cause ringing but enough to cause annoyance makes him highly irritable and aggressive

Ringing-induced noise (typically sudden) causes him to mentally tune out (when Cucurucho shot a gun next to him he had to lie down until his ears stopped ringing)

-Mood swings wildly and to different levels of emotional elevation

-General aggressive aloofness at what's going on around him (like he's excited to do things but incredibly detached)

Couldn't understand why Sunny wanted to fix Leo's broken garden when it was Richas who destroyed it

since early day lore keeps being referenced, here are some good early qsmp lore vods to watch if you're ever curious about what all went down:

any day 1 pov: really good introductory content (obviously), even for the lore. there’s a lot of cutscenes from that specific day iirc as well which i always think are beneficial to watch! also everyone’s first reactions to cucurucho/osito bimbo are fucking hilarious

roier, day 4: explains his and osito bimbo’s dynamic, they spend a large part of the day together.

roier, day 5: the betrayal the day of spreens betrayal, self explanatory. this is also the day we get the book from osito bimbo where it calls roier "0037"

any day 7 pov: egg's introduction morse code transmission about an “experiment,” the day the original eggs got adopted, shows how the attitude toward the eggs has changed since then, possibly could help explain some of the family dynamics?? at least how they function and treat the kids

roier, day 10: osito bimbo makes it's return but now it's different, (sort of) the day cucurucho officially takes osito bimbo's place

slime or roier, day 16: tilin's death the day of tilin's death, ultimately had a lot of impacts on various characters on the island like slime, roier, and quackity, for example.

slime, day 20: avenging juanaflippa slime tries to get flippa another chance at life by forcing a reset of all the eggs lives, meaning he goes after and targets the other player's eggs.

day 21: "save the baby" quest aka the first egg kidnapping/disappearance (continued in day 22 due to server maintenance). a rescue mission given to the islanders via egg tasks to go retrieve their eggs!

day 22 (slime, mariana, roier, bbh, quackity, foolish, jaiden, philza): juanaflippa's custody trial and revival really fucking funny but also a part of the servers history that i feel like got brushed over too fast. confirms the federation can give extra lives to the eggs if they are so willing and some other stuff.

luzu, day 24: final (physical) arin appearance explains why arin was there, what his purpose is, and how the codes are related to him. can also been seen in foolish and bbh's vod from this day.

foolish, day 26: introduction to leo’s “friends” and a few island entities, the founding of the theory bros (now ordo theoritas) which can also be seen in max and bad’s pov that day!

day 27: the funeral a funeral is held for all the dead eggs (trump, tilin, and flippa) and i believe it's the first time the federation allows parents to talk to their children after their death. for this day, most pov's do go to the funeral service, but only parents of the dead eggs (quackity, slime, mariana, and maxo) get to see their children.

anyones pov, day 34: “the countdown begins, 6 days left.” codes intercept the ducks transmission (again?) and alert the parents that the eggs will die/disappear in 6 days. we know now this obviously isn't true but still a lore-ish day

roier, day 34: even more osito bimbo content! the day when osito bimbo tells roier more about the federation, such as the existence of the "host" and how it has a specific set of duties it must follow/complete.

quackity, day 36: quackitys interrogation & las casualonas debut disguised, roier and vegetta interrogate quackity about his plans regarding the eggs (which iirc was a rumor started by roier saying he was going to murder them) and the island.

maxo, day 50: sofias creator visits maxo important for current lore seeing as the person who gave him said instructions is now known to be a part of the revolution etoiles was recruited into.

AN HOUR HAS PASSED. MID-LORE RECAP. (this is gonna be completely out of order because good lore-d)

Foolish got a picture from Leo (left at Vegetta's house). Everyone saw the egg pictures at the Ordo. Slime is turning into a code(?). (mans having serious glitching issues.) Slime and (code!)JuanaFlippa are playing around (doing tasks maybe? i don't have charlie's audio on). Tubbo got a letter from Fred asking for a date! Tubbo then got stood up. Etoiles and Cellbit talked—he told Cellbit he got the shield back, and the two said they trust each other. Quackity has a whole investigation set up over Tubbo and Fred. Quackity has Tubbo's letters to Fred, as well as a bunch of pictures of the two of them(???). Cellbit met Maximiliano (Federation worker) who asked for his help. Maximiliano asked Cellbit to press a button—which killed Maximiliano and let Cellbit get the stuff on his body. Cellbit got confirmation that the Federation has essentially been distracting him for months. Cellbit got an...invitation? And as I type this QUACKITY HAS FRED KIDNAPPED????

Analysis of Pissa So Far.

This is a essay looking at our favorite death dads and how their relationship changed and their different nuances from to start to most recent. This will primarily look at the major three times we had Phil and Missa interact from the start with being paired for the eggs to recently the Mexican Independence Party. So bare with me and come with me down memory lane.

I rewatched day 1 of the pairing up of pissa to mainly cope with CERTAIN lore that happened recently. And yes it’s as fluffy and cute as I remembered. But let’s start at the beginning. Before the pairing up Missa and Phil knew of each other casually like acquaintances. In real life along with in general their characters/cubitos. (Again major thanks for the server in general bringing all these wonderful creators together.) Anyways the first time Phil met Missa was when he jumped off the wall and gave them food. I like to imagine missa had a non-serious crush on the man. But they didn’t really interact. And it’s fair to understand why.

But then the egg event happened. Which honestly in my opinion was the best event to bring the Spanish and English sides together organically. And looking back now it WORKED. So back on track everyone goes to the adoption center and like most Qsmp events it’s total chaos. Phil chooses his ticket and when I rewatched it Missa literally like spammed clicked it to break it and get Phil. Atleast that is what it looks like to me. So we already have the seeds of simp Missa from the very start. Also can we all take a break and just realize they both got tickets with D? And literally they are Deathduo? The more I rewatch the pairing lottery the more I think it was rigged by the admins and not actually by chance. Every duo either had similar humor or charm.

Immediately Phil and Missa find out they both have D. And it’s casual no romantic undertones the cubitos are still getting to know each other. But Missa being a sweetheart immediately is like you can choose whatever egg. And I think this is when Phil starts to soften and gets majorly endeared towards the clumsy reaper. Like not a crush. Not love. But the seeds of the adoration and love we see from Phil down the road. The fact of the matter Phil let Missa choose Chayanne name. The fact literally the newly formed death family was being fluffy and saying chayanne will be the best egg while literally everyone was screaming in the background. Its the main thing that would later define the dynamic of the ship. The gentle understanding and teamwork. That would later be a staple whether you ship them platonically or romantically.

And chayanne is the best way to show why pissa was meant to always work. Chayanne personality and hobbies all came from his two dads (Literally the reason chayanne was interested in cooking so much was because Missa taught him to cook). And like Phil once he was thrust into parenthood with Missa immediately found him endeared by his assigned husband? The amount of times he laughed because of Missa. Another theme so important to why pissa works so well.

Missa is Philzas calm balm. He relaxes Phil so much. And that’s so rare for that to happen. So of course a hour or so in taking care of their son. Phil visibly softens and gets endeared to the man. Phil immediately starts worrying about missa when he left. Missa may have fallen first but Phil fell harder. Like more time Phil spends with Missa the more comfortable and at ease he gets. Missa fully was like I have the best husband ever let me casually call you pet names.

Not to mention two popular scenes burned into the minds of fans. The moment when Mariana called Phil my love and tried to steal him. And Phil being Phil immediately was I’m okay with my partner thank you very much. And both Missa and Phil cuddled close. I still think Missa fell day 1 but Phil was quickly getting a crush on his assigned husband. Secondly Phil literally invited Missa to bed.

Their dynamic was one of like relaxation of trust and just both trying their best for Chayanne. They easily slid into a cute dynamic as both got endeared to the others. And also in day 1 Phil never said platonic it’s only after day 1 he started using that. And only when he wasn’t with Missa. He is a repressed romantic guy struggling with a crush. Not to mention the crows practically grew so attached to Missa it was insane to see.

Anyways like most couples they had to both take care of chayanne until Missa canonically got kidnapped by wolves for four months. During the time Missa was there he was pining HARD for Phil. Calling him his love and darling in Spanish. Phil meanwhile keep saying it was platonic and most of the fans accepted that. But then Missa was gone.

And cubito Phil missed him so fucking much. It’s at this point I fully believe is when Phil finally realized he loved him. He kept referencing Missa. He made armor for Missa. He dyed his backpack black with a skull because of Missa. It’s truly my belief that Philza realized he fucking adored the man in Missas absence. He never gave up waiting for Missa. And Missa eventually kept his promise and came back to his family.

And this is when you see some of nuance or facets change slightly in their dynamic. The core is the same all the way back from day 1 but it does change. It somehow becomes softer and domestic. Sure Philza even before his grand realization in Missa absence SPOILED missa. Missa made him soft. But when the reunion happened? Somehow Philza softens even more. Somehow he spoils Missa even more. This is why I believe that Philza finally realized he loves Missa. Because there is a clear increase in the affectionate displays between them.

Philza and the rest of the server went on the mission once Missa appeared. It was legit like Philza forgot that he was a mission. Philza when Missa appeared immediately softened so much. Of course Philza isn’t angry he’s gone. He just missed his husband. And voila once asked by Cellbit “oh this is your husband?!” He immediately agreed. This is important because for months if someone asked about who is Missa he would always and never fail to say Missa is his platonic partner/husband.

But in the reunion Philza just said husband. Because in my opinion Philza fully thought of Missa his romantic partner. The fact that Philza showed everyone including Missa the skull on the black backpack almost like a bird showing off his feathers. And Missa was immediately all gushy. The fact he only looked at Missa when he said you can go into my boat. And felps not realizing the sorta of energy the two of them was having immediately was cursed to be a third wheel.

Like literally felps was in the back of the boat being all “just ignore that I’m here” when literally Philza and Missa were lost in their own fucking world. Gently flirting with each other. Felps was regretting majorly getting in the boat with them so no wonder he bounced as soon as possible. And literally they were left by themselves still on a mission to save people. But I won’t lie it was a date.

Just them loving in each other company. And Philza being so gentle and loving and protective towards Missa. Their dynamic at their core is the same yes. But it’s undeniably more romantic. And Missa side of the dynamic also changes. He starts trying his best to protect Philza. The man who has from the start been protecting him and their son.

Missa slowly starts to become more brave and actually comments on how attractive Phil is in front of him. (I can see your pecs….yes Missa we get it you love Phil). They are closer than ever. Phil also immediately accepts Missa as Tallulah other dad. Do you guys know how massive that is? He trusts and loves Missa so darn much to let him easily be part of his whole family.

And eventually Missa had to go for a bit. But the amount of pissa interaction we get during the renuion stream doesn’t end. We have loads more to dissect. Missa comes back in hope to see his son and new daughter but sadly they were sleeping but later on despite showing Tubbo around. Once he saw Missa was whispering to him in chat immediately left as soon as possible to get to his husband. Also Cellbit who was with him and tubbo was immediately like “oh you need to help your husband understandable” while tubbo was just like so confused.

Meanwhile before this Missa was crying wanting to go back to Phil. Phil is his safety blanket. Phil never fails to make him feel safe and secure and protected. There’s reasons why Missa fell so quickly. And they met up. And to bring up my earlier point above. What Phil does nest is one of my primarily reasons why I believe Phil fully realizes he loves Missa.

Yes Phil spoils Missa. It’s his love lanuage but all the gifts and upgrades he did late at night (which Phil made a mission to give stuff to Missa before he logged off.) and even the armor he made so long ago. The amount of spoiling and pampering just screams love, adoration, and affection.

And of course they get sorta matching backpacks. And of course Missa says he loves him so fast so the translator doesn’t pick it up. This leds to when Missa showed up by himself had a loony toon day before being called out by roier. He fully says he loves Philza. LOVES PHILZA. TE AMO. Romantic.

Most of the fans knew because just look how Missa acted. But once it was confirmed Missa feels romantic feelings for Philza? That’s when the majority starting fully accepting them as romantic soulmates. And started seeing Philza actions how they are. Romantic. (Though if you prefer them as platonic that’s also very valid).

The only reason a pissa wedding or confession haven’t happened is because Missa loves Philza so much he doesn’t want to make him uncomfortable or burden him with his feelings for him. If philza said let’s get married he would accept immediately. But knowing Phil he will say nothing about loving Missa because he is scared he won’t be able to be protect.

And more recently. The Mexican Independence Day party. I won’t lie the times they were together they were always flirting. They were so cute. And both in my eyes were getting brave with their love for the other in their own ways. Missa literally screaming VIVA TE AMO on stage when Roier said Philza. Or Philza making sure he follows Missa during the dance. The fact Philza was so gentle explaining the recent egg disappearance and made a comment of being shock that Missa came back (he misses Missa so much each time he is gone.).

And their dynamic switches slightly again. Because Phil the whole time was worried and hovering around Missa when ingesting everything lore at once. And Missa is again getting brave he fully said he going on a date with Phil. It’s romantic. There’s no way I can personally can see it otherwise (though again if you like them platonic you are hella valid). At the start there was seeds but their romance has grown. They love each other. They need to confess for my sanity. And I fully trusts that Missa will have some sort of role in saving his love. And maybe perhaps we can get a confession or wedding in the future-

badboyhalo october 1st stream recap

okay okay quick recap for anyone who couldn't watch the stream/can't watch bad's vod (tw discussion of derealization, paranoia (being watched especially), hallucinations, bad having a BAD time, etc. if any of this stuff super bothers you then you may want to avoid badboyhalo's livestreams for the foreseeable future, he's a long-term storyteller)

Bad started off his stream with a black screen and white text.

"Welcome. Dear cucurucho, why are you in my [the text went offscreen] I just want to talk please come say hello I know your there cucurucho come come come out wherever you are cucuruchoooooooo CUCURUCHSOFIOOGI" [note: keysmash not exact]

When Bad turned his screen on, he was in dapper's room, rocking back and forth. he was calling for cucurucho and talking about it living in his house. He kept jumping at nothing. He spoke to the pictures of the kids as if they were real, and asked "richarlyson" if forever was the one in his house.

he didn't want to leave dapper's room because it was his 'safe room,' but he eventually did. His base is now covered in GIANT signs that have red text and cucurucho's model that say "NO FEDERATION ALLOWED" and "YOUR BEING WATCHED" and one more i can't remember. he put up cameras everywhere and said "Look! I have cameras! Now I know when someone comes in... and when someone leaves." which isn't super important but it was an awesome line

he ended up going to spawn to look for cucurucho, and it was full of scaffolding. bad didn't take this well. It's unclear if the scaffolding was part of his hallucinations or not, but he fixated on it 'being' cucurucho. He suspected forever, cellbit, and foolish were also cucurucho. He questioned what was and wasn't real- including himself.

Bad started SEEING cucurucho in the distance, watching him, before it would disappear again. When it came back, sometimes it was renamed. "ENJOY THE ISLAND" and ":)" were some of the renamings, and I cannot remember them all. Bad started out by chasing cucurucho, shouting at it and asking if it were various items/mobs. He saw two of them at once at once point and was lead up into slime's hold house, through flippa's room (where there was a single block of scaffolding), and then out off of jaiden's balcony.

As the chase went on Bad started to become more frightened. Cucurucho was flying. he started to lose sense of where he was (shown by the admins teleporting him around) and hallucinated a nether portal he threatened to go through.

At some point Bad questioned if Dapper was cucurucho, too.

Eventually Bad retreated to the wall to cower in a 1x1 hole that went beneath the wall. cucurucho broke several blocks in front of him and appeared, revving its chainsaw. when it disappeared again there was a hole broken into the floor that lead to a cave and LONG tunnels beneath the wall. the visual was terrifying i promise.

cucurucho chased bad through the tunnels. he was screaming “please please stop I’ll be good I promise please go away.” At one point cucurucho appeared behind bad with the name "Bad?Boy?Halo?" and bad freaked out about potentially being cucurucho.

cucurcucho chased bad through a cave system until two cucuruchos cornered him to blow bubbles. their names were "do you?" and "YES". bad ran from them and found some scaffolding loose on the ground, (which had been built up to lead him out of the cave), said "this is it, this is you" and threw into lava.

Bad warped back home, insisting, "You can't come here, you can't come here." He was calmer in his house, but then was hit by the blindness effect and started yelling about the signs and "NO FEDERATION ALLOWED." he sang a little song about it

short story short: cucurucho appeared in his house. he saw it behind a glass wall. he was furious and terrified and growling "you can't be in here." he ran into dapper's room, where it appeared AGAIN with the name "WITHOUT M***" (last few letters were in the wall lmao). bad started sprinting around his house trying to find a safe place. cucurucho chased him with a chainsaw down the aquarium hallway.

Two cucuruchos kept popping up and disappearing, both with different names each time. Bad asked them "who let you in my house?" and went through a series of names such as: foolish, forever, tina, cellbit, baghera, antoine, fit- and finally settled on Ron.

Bad went to go see Ron. The hallway was dark, and Ron's room was unlit. When Bad opened the door, Cucurucho, with the nametag "RON" above its head, looked back at him. Bad said, "I knew it. It was Ron. He let you in." A second Cucurucho appeared with the nametag "ALWAYSHERE."

Bad was given blindness again, and he started to laugh as a chainsaw whirred. We heard bubbles blowing. Then the screen faded entirely to black, and Bad said, "Come here, Ron. Come out, come out, wherever you are..."

We heard rapid damage sounds, and then the sound of eating.

(the END of his stream had black and white text "SEE You NeXt tIme :)" as an example. The other messages were classic streamer "thanks for watching" and "make sure to follow" messages with similar fucked up cases, but this was supposed to be a fast recap lmao)

TLDR: Bad's paranoia has increased to the point of hallucinations. He's now frightened of Cucurucho, and suspects that everyone on the island is/could be helping Cucurucho get into his base. He associates cucurucho with scaffolding now. He is NOT sound of mind. He ate Ron Lemons.

QSMP: 7/16/23

(AN: My first summary was a bit into q!Jaiden’s POV with q!Roier and Bobby as I had been binge watching VODs for the first week I got into it)

q!Jaiden, q!Roier, and friends went on a mission to journey to a dungeon at Cucurucho's order to try saving Bobby. But in the end they got to have 10 minutes with Bobby to say goodbye…

BOBBY CHINGON!!! AAAGHHH

q!Jaiden watched the sunset while holding the flower Bobby gave her and cried out mournfully. She ended the stream then,  saying she'd figure out what to do without Bobby. When we saw her again, it was quite heartbreaking. She made a whole house filled with roses and pictures of Bobby. A whole house alone in a rose-covered field filled with his art and pictures and she says, 

"it's always happy here, there's never any reason to leave. It's like he's still here," and I'm like OH NOOO!! FRICCKK AAAA MY HEART

So Cucurucho showed up, jumpscared q!Jaiden, and made a deal; getting her to agree to go on a secret mission with promises that she will help keep the remaining eggs safe. She was given items to collect and while she was getting the things she was asked for one of the eggs was attacked by this glitchy code monster that's attacked and killed other eggs before. The youngest egg, a French egg named Pomme lost 1 of her 2 lives and it's just HNNGGGGG STOP

Jaiden was understandably pretty upset about this!!

Pomme's death was deemed a “nightmare” due to issues with the unfair death, but it still left an emotional scar on little Pomme.

Tubbo and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Did you wonder what Tubbo did on the first day of QSMP 2024? Don't worry -- we've got you covered! Join Tubbo on a journey involving many dissapointments, and many (non-)flying horses. (That's what he called those, yes. I personally think they look more like very weird chickens.)

Tubbo was incredibly excited to join the server, first things first remarking on Dapper’s incorrect name and configuring his voice chat. Sunny immediately came to hang out by Tubbo. He was incredibly surprised at Antoine’s inventory showing up and showed off the new animation to Quackity (who was logged in from the wrong account and sounded like he was talking from the toilet). He reunited with Foolish, the two of them being incredibly excited about the Town of Fobo. Sunny said she’d missed Tubbo a lot, and Tubbo remarked on how they had fancy signs. He went on to finalizing his sound and translation settings.

He talked with Ramón and reassured him that his fathers were probably fine. Tubbo noticed the eggs’ inventory sometimes popping up and prompted Sunny to type commands. He then decided to find Phil, and scared him by greeting him from behind him. He looked at his map and noted how they were hell knows where. His game then crashed.

He logged back in. He noticed Etoiles writing down some commands as he’d already noticed some dungeons. Tubbo saw that F3 was now much nicer. Philza pointed out how much better the performance was, making both him and Tubbo even more excited. Tubbo invited Philza to the Town of Fobo. Philza said he’d think about it, and that he might just live in a hole with his eggs.

Lenay logged on, and Tubbo encouraged Sunny to go and meet her. The two tried to approach her, but her mic was broken. Tubbo reunited with Baghera. He experimented with new emotes, talked with Dapper and Pomme (and learned that Dapper had more than one father), as well as Chayanne. Tubbo also reunited with Cellbit and showed off his new skin. Tubbo had clarified that he’d forgiven Cellbit for what he’d done to Tubbo in Purgatory, but warned Sunny against interacting with him anyway. Tubbo wondered if they could get out of the landing area.

Sunny asked Tubbo about Lenay again, so he went to talk to her only to get immediately distracted by reuniting with Bagi. Tubbo got a blindness effect and beefed with Etoiles for a bit.

Everyone was teleported to spawn. People remarked on how good the place looked, but Tubbo had trouble remembering where they saw it before. Tubbo looked at the map and noticed that Create trains were visible there. He and Phil then noticed a screen with a timer, and sat down to watch it, discussing how many mobs there were.

Tubbo realized he left Sunny unattended, and went to talk to Lenay. Everyone was separated into two groups. Tubbo reunited with Empanada, happy to see her safe and sound. Tubbo greeted one of the workers that had shown up and discovered that they had the Attributes mod. He explained to Phil what it was and Phil shared his theory on what was going to happen. Tubbo and Phil experimented with their speech bubbles’ styles. The two bothered one of the workers for food and asked Leo if she was okay (she was okay). Phil and Tubbo found out they could change text on eggs’ signs and were very mature about that feature. Tubbo reassured Leo Foolish was okay. Tubbo and Phil bothered the worker some more, to no avail.

Everyone sat down to watch the cinematic. Tubbo wondered “what half that shit even meant” and immediately went to press the button. The group went to the train, and Tubbo was very excited about the next Create expansion that was added. Tubbo then fell through the train and ran across the tracks for a bit before being teleported back to the train. Tubbo begged to be the driver and cried at not being able to drive once the train took off.

Once they’d arrived at the station, everyone got off the train. They met the new workers and joked about the island being a “furry island”. Tubbo saw a dungeon and talked to Foolish. He, Foolish and Quackity killed a giraffe. Tubbo went through the items list, trying to determine which mods they had.

Other islanders came by. Ramón noted that they should get the eggs armor, first things first. Sunny informed Tubbo that she had another Dad. The group was confused, and Tubbo asked Sunny to clarify who her parents were. Quackity came by and pointed out they had to be following a certain worker. Tubbo looked through the items list some more, and then took off running after everyone else.

He questioned what the workers were. They soon arrived to spawn. They saw ATMs and Bagi laughed about how fucked Tubbo was now that they had real money for Sunny to be obsessed with. Tubbo ran around, checking out the stores and marveling at all the new stuff. Sunny asked Tubbo to win her a plushie at the local arcade machine, but Tubbo didn’t know how. Sunny decided she wanted to make her own shop, which Tubbo approved of.

Tubbo saw Etoiles screaming about how he’d gotten kicked. Foolish and Tubbo recruited more people into their town and Tubbo made sure Sunny was with them before they left to claim their territory. Foolish gave Tubbo some food. Foolish declared Antoine as their enemy. Sunny went to ask Lenay to come.

Tubbo had a phone call IRL, and after it the group continued to run further into the wilderness. Tubbo saw a cool mob and just as he approached it, a new cinematic played. Tubbo was rather excited about capitalism. Once back, Tubbo declared that the mob they’d found was now called Frank, and rode it for a bit. The group proceeded to start exploring.

The group collected resources and found a spot for Town of Fobo. They found the first home of fobo and a villager. Sunny and Leo’s beef evolved. Fit came by and checked out the Town of Fobo. Frank was killed by admins. Richarlyson was downed twice, which got Tubbo and Fit properly spooked. They beefed with Fit and Ramón and told them to get off their property, dug out a basement below the first home, Tubbo learned there was already a Town of Fobo update account and the server crashed.

Upon returning, everyone struggled with lag; the Town of Fobo continued on despite it. They mined, declared Cellbit as their enemy, and discovered an absurdly large cave system directly under the first home. As they were mining, Cucurucho showed up, and they shared their plans with it. They later said that they were surprised it was still around, as they assumed that it was replaced by Mr. Bunny.

A chat message about being chased was displayed. Foolish and Tubbo got attacked by brand new mobs multiple times, and Tubbo got downed a couple of times. They’d discovered Alex’s caves, got into the atomic age by discovering uranium. They found two spawners, in one of which Tubbo acquired a rubber ducky akin to Chayanne’s. He’d found netherite boots (which he immediately bragged about to Etoiles), and after finding another spawner, the duo headed back to the surface.

Upon arriving there, they discovered that Fit put his house right on the border with the Town of Fobo. They reunited with their daughters, who seemed to be getting along rather nicely. They put up Leo’s amethyst and the Gem of Fobo — the first ever diamond the two mined. They discovered that while they were gone, Sunny and Leo cooked six and a half stacks of toast and gathered an absurd amount of seeds.

Tubbo farmed wood and just as he gathered all the resources he needed, he found Create mod disabled. He sat in Town of Fobo, unsure what to do. He made sure Sunny had gear and asked about her relationship with Leo; Sunny told him what had happened to her while he was away.

The two went looking for dungeons. While looting a structure, Tubbo found a signed book written by Kubek727 that read, “Dupa Biskupa :D”, which is a name of a Polish game that literally translates as “bishop's bum”. Exploring further, Tubbo found a chokobo and lost Sunny before finding her again (she had been in a hole).

They ran into Etoiles, who gave them a piece of leather Tubbo needed for a chokobo saddle. He left, and the two ran back to Tubbo’s chokobo. It was named Star, but couldn’t fly, which Tubbo was disappointed about, and proceeded to declare a new mission for the day: to find a gold chokobo which would be able to fly.

They found a second chokobo which was named Blue, and Tubbo established a chokobo breeding pit. Fobo claimed its first victim (BadBoyHalo, who was killed by Foolish). Tubbo had to fight off a zombie horde.

The first natural resident of Fobo was born — a baby chocobo. Leo came by, with Foolish and Tina soon following. Leo gave Tubbo some stuff, which he was ecstatic about.

Foolish and Tubbo lied to Tina about the origins of the first home and the three chatted for a bit about chocobos, their building plans and streamer awards. Foolish and Leo logged off for today, but not before suggesting Tina be the Fobo ambassador (especially since Tina was very interested in the place). Tina and Tubbo discussed recent money-related shenanigans, chocobos, Tubbo’s state of real life and effects of lack of Create on his psyche, American food and Etoiles. Tina left to find Empanada and build a house, and Tubbo continued on with this bird breeding business.

Sunny said that she was a bit sleepy, which Tubbo was very unhappy about, though he did later clarify that he was just joking and proceeded to put Sunny to sleep. He then went back to breeding. He heard some weird sound he couldn’t identify the source of and expanded the pit.

Richarlyson came by, looking like a pin cushion (stuffed with arrows). He said that he wanted to find Bad, which Tubbo wasn’t able to help him with. Tubbo showed him his chocobos and very non-subtly asked if it was even possible to get a golden chocobo. It turned out that golden chocobos were disabled altogether.

Richarlyson hugged Tubbo in consolation, and gave him a blue axolotl even though Tubbo didn’t want it. He also gave Tubbo a shiny plant, which Tubbo agreed to. Tubbo went back into the pit and continued breeding chocobos, rambling about how he wasn’t going to give up; he then came back up and screamed some more. Richarlyson asked to use Tubbo’s crafting table. Tubbo stood over the pit and rambled about unlucky rolls. Richarlyson asked about Tubbo’s rubber duckie and said that he also was nerfed — he wasn’t able to use wooden axes. Tubbo disagreed it was a nerf, saying that it was a World Edit tool. Richarlyson asked to smelt some iron; he then suggested he ask the gods whether there could be a golden chocobo, which Tubbo enthusiastically agreed to.

Tubbo continued to lament about lack of Create and decided to become the chocobo guy. He crafted himself chocobo armor and continued to breed chocobos. He had a mental breakdown in the pit, and decided to switch to the fishing mod. Richarlyson wanted to try breeding chocobos as well, but Tubbo said that it would be rigged and didn’t allow him.

Tubbo and Richarlyson fished. Upon Tubbo’s request Richarlyson shared whether treasure chests were nerfed, and Richas made fun of Tubbo farming chocobos for so long. Tubbo threatened to break the server.

Richarlyson egged Tubbo to breed the chocobos again, which Tubbo refused to do. Tubbo screamed about backpacks still being enabled with Create mod and chocobos being disabled. He learned that a lot of backpacks' features were disabled as well.

Tubbo continued fishing and chatting with Richarlyson. At one point Richas asked Tubbo to breed chocobos one more time, which Tubbo did. Richarlyson explained that only white, black and golden ones were blocked, and that Tubbo must have had terrible luck. They discussed the situation some more, and Richarlyson revealed that Frank was ‘’his’’ chocobo all along. Richarlyson realized he had to meet up with Bad, so Tubbo sent him off.

Tubbo then fished until he got a Neptune’s Bounty. Once he did, he bred the chocobos some more and decided to go to spawn. He talked about how he might take a break until more mod stuff is unlocked. Once at spawn, he walked around, experimented with the ATM, got himself a bounty to complete and soon logged off.

What we got from the QSMP stream (Dec 2, 2023)

-Some residents of the island, including Foolish, did not return from Purgatory and are MIA

-Most of the shadow virus (black concrete) has been dealt with by the Federation, save for some specific areas

-Charlie's house is being investigated by the Federation for its overgrowth of Code matter

-Luffy (one of the little eye creatures from Purgatory who followed around Team GGN) is in Federation captivity and is being researched on/made to provide information to the Fed via drawings

-Infected Fed workers controlled by the Eye Observer attacked the Fed in an attempt to retrieve Luffy; they were killed by Cucurucho and the Fed workers, but the Eye has made it clear this is not over

-The Fed are not aware Etoiles was the one who broke into the testing facility and freed the Code that was there, but they do intend to install more security measures

-Cucurevil/Oscurucho (the "Evil Cucurucho" with inverted colors) is supposedly Cucurucho's brother and met up with them after a long time of having not talked; we are unsure why as that's when the stream ended

-The coffee machine has been fixed

I wonder how seriously we're supposed to take the QSMP Lore Recap videos in regards to QSMP lore as a whole? Part 4 drew significant attention to q!Foolish's DNA results showing that he's biologically human, even though I feel like there's a general consensus that's a totem. The video even includes q!Foolish himself expressing surprise at being biologically human.

Like, at the time, I feel like we could brush off that moment as not everyone knowing everyone's lore. But the Recap purposely drew attention to it. Also bearing in mind the recent context of purgatory where we've seen q!Foolish's body cracking, his emeralds getting dulled, growing mould in places, essentially things that affirm that he's made out of totem materials.

It comes off as very foreboding to have so much evidence given to us that he's a totem, only to remind us right after that he's biologically human.

Recap of q!Max lore - Qsmp Day 154

q!Max woke up from his days long coma in the hospital (after a very cool cinematic opener) with Cucurucho, who said the surgery worked, the parasite was gone and he’s free to go!

Max was really happy to be alive and well, until he went home and discovered HIS LEG WAS BEING EATEN AWAY AND TURNING INTO CODE ??????

(The QsmpES account conveniently left this rather important detail out of all their updates too…)

He was too nervous to tell anyone and just put on iron pants to hide it, acting like nothing was wrong. :( The whole q!Quackity chase situation happened where he tried to ask Q questions, got nicknamed “glasses” and was sad that he friend could no longer remember him.

Max returned back home and Cucurucho came to speak with him. While crying, he showed what happened to his leg and asked for an explanation, but Cucurucho just laughed at him and started jumping around

Max: “I thought you removed the parasite??”

Cucurucho: Yes.

Max: “So what is this?!”

Cucurucho: “Classified.”

Max then tried to make peace with Cucurucho, saying they know he hates the Federation but after all this, he will stop. he wants help from the Federation to finally enjoy the island and be happy. all he needs is his dear Sofia back.

Cucurucho put down a TV and radio with a sign that said “SOFIA” which made Max start crying again because that’s not his daughter. Cucurucho kept putting down random tech objects calling them Sofia and Max got angry, screaming “WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?!”

Cucurucho handed him a book:

“I am not in possession of any object. :)”

Then Cucurucho said enjoy the island and ran away. q!Max shouted that he’d kill them.

And without a word Max went to his theory room, put this super weird image on the wall and logged out…

the text at the bottom reads “BOMB NOT TO SCALE” …….
