Patty/Patience:

Youngest to enter the underground! Fell because of an abusive family and just wanting out of their terrible home life.

Stayed with Toriel the longest. Was weary of her at first because of aforementioned terrible home life, gave her their old ribbon and toy knife as a "peace offering" gift (Toriel later loses them on accident, resulting in Frisk being able to find them later on)

Made it to Asgore but didn't last long against him.

Bodi/Bravery:

Small gremlin he/they who keeps getting into situations. Fell because he (stupidly) took a dare to climb Mt. Ebbot to see if the monsters were there

Loses both their bandana AND one of their gloves while running through Snowdin (QC finds both and sells them to Frisk)

Only made it to Asgore on a whim and a lot of dueling people (no one is killed he just challenges people at random). Bodi actually put up a bit of a fight against him! Still didn't win, though.

Katherine/Kindness:

A young orphan who just wanted to help the monsters! Didn't really have much of a home to leave anyway.

Loses their pan on accident in Hotland, and then left her apron behind after it took one too many blows making it essentially unwearable to her

Didn't want to fight Asgore, so she figured she'd just help the monsters cause by giving up their SOUL!

Iris/Integrity:

Katherine's older sibling who journeyed to Mt. Ebbot after their sister went missing. Unlike her, they don't share their kind sentiment on monsters.

Most of their crimes in the underground were PURELY of self defense. They do feel a bit of guilt for the stuff they did.

Died to Axis after causing the Snowdin Incident. Their tutu and ballet shoes were hidden to "hide the evidence".

Fritz/Perseverance:

The first of the group to have Flowey accompany them on their journey! Ran away from home after dealing with bullies and a neglectful family and tripped on accident.

The only one of the group with actual progress on their journey written. It's called "Undertale Purple" and will be divulged on more here the more I have done for it!

Left her notebook and (stupidly) her glasses outside of the throne room before confronting (and losing to) Asgore. Gerson finds them later and sells them to Frisk

Ends up being Clover's narrator during UTY! It's a HC a mutual of mine made and I love the idea sm that I adopted it as canon to Fritz's story!

she is working at tech village after she loses her job at kord industries after they all get fired from qc. once queen consolidated is aquired by palmer tech ( who’s work she has long admired for the strides he’s made not only in tech, but in building a company )she applies back to the i.t. department & begins to work her way up in the company, more aggressively than when she worked at queen consolidated. over the course of the year she earns her spot as vp as she & ray figure out that they work together really well & become good friends . 

after everything that happens with ra’s & the explosion at palmer tech, felicity is eager to get out of star city & travel the world with the man she loves . but she very soon starts to miss their live in star city, despite all of the bad memories that live there because their family lives there too. she misses digg & dinah & thea & starts helping them, not knowing that oliver is planning to propose.

when the ghosts attack the limo, after she and oliver get engaged, felicity is shot four times ( twice in the shoulder, once in the side piercing her kidney & once in the back near her spinal cord ) . it takes months of physical therapy & follow ups after her initial three month stay in the hospital with her doctors to get her body even close to being fully healed . despite that & her doctors warnings to take it easy ( not to mention the team ) she continued to work with the team from home & the hospital until she was strong enough to be back in the bunker for longer periods of time. 

felicity breaks up with oliver not because he didn’t tell her about william even though she’s still pretty pissed  … but so that oliver can figure out how he wants to deal with being william’s dad / being green arrow / being oliver / being with her. she feels bad that she made him come back because she didn’t want to stop & now ? there’s all of this to deal with & she is focused on getting better & work. neither choose to keep the loft & rent it out shortly after their break up.

oliver & felicity go through a two year separation while remaining team members / building new team arrow, they have hooked up intermittently on their break but that stopped as soon as she started dating billy ( probably ).

after getting help from helix to find prometheus & then realizing that cay.den ja.mes was a little more than cuckoo bananas felicity actively works to dismantle helix . 

she feels beyond guilty when billy dies & throws herself even further into her work & steps away team for a while to focus on it & deal with billy’s death. 

felicity starts working on starting smoak technologies in her apartment with curtis ( their first project is attempting to create the bio-stimulant implant in a way that is affordable & accessible for the general public ) 

once they get back from lian yu oliver & felicity start to really work on repairing their relationship & working to introduce william to the idea of them being together while honoring samantha’s memory.

also no one gets married at barry & iris' wedding except barry & iris you absolute ******* ********

oliver & felicity are legally separated but still married when she finds out she’s pregnant with mia & while they live apart they work really hard to give both of their kids the childhood they deserve & make sure they know that they are a family no matter what.

The government has ordered schools not to use resources from organisations which have expressed a desire to end capitalism.

Department for Education (DfE) guidance issued on Thursday for school leaders and teachers involved in setting the relationship, sex and health curriculum categorised anti-capitalism as an “extreme political stance” and equated it with opposition to freedom of speech, antisemitism and endorsement of illegal activity.

Former shadow chancellor John McDonnell said the measures effectively outlawed reference in schools to key events in British history, and that it symbolised growing “authoritarianism” within the governing Conservative party.

The guidance, part of lengthy guidelines for implementing the statutory curriculum, said: “Schools should not under any circumstances use resources produced by organisations that take extreme political stances on matters. This is the case even if the material itself is not extreme, as the use of it could imply endorsement or support of the organisation.”

It listed examples of what were described as “extreme political stances”, such as “a publicly stated desire to abolish or overthrow democracy, capitalism, or to end free and fair elections”; opposition to freedom of speech; the use of racist, including antisemitic, language; the endorsement of illegal activity; and a failure to condemn illegal activities done in support of their cause.

McDonnell said: “On this basis it will be illegal to refer to large tracts of British history and politics including the history of British socialism, the Labour Party and trade unionism, all of which have at different times advocated the abolition of capitalism.

“This is another step in the culture war and this drift towards extreme Conservative authoritarianism is gaining pace and should worry anyone who believes that democracy requires freedom of speech and an educated populace.”

Economist and former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis said the guidance showed “how easy it is to lose a country, to slip surreptitiously into totalitarianism”.

He added: “Imagine an educational system that banned schools from enlisting into their curricula teaching resources dedicated to the writings of British writers like William Morris, Iris Murdoch, Thomas Paine even. Well, you don’t have to. Boris Johnson’s government has just instructed schools to do exactly that.”

Barrister Jessica Simor QC suggested that the government has on occasion not complied with the guidance itself, after it admitted the new Brexit bill would break international law (“endorsement of illegal activity”) and continued selling arms to Saudi Arabia for use in Yemen following a court ruling that it was unlawful.

Tariq Ali, the writer and activist, said although the new guidance was a sign of “moral and political bankruptcy”, the advent of the internet meant such measures were futile.

“Leaving aside the stupidity, these things don’t work,” he said. “People will read what they want to read. Trying to enhance a version of the Prevent strategy, which is already in place, is quite scandalous and shocking.

“If you put things on a banned list, lots of young people can access them via the internet and read them. Banning them from schools will not work at all, aside from the fact it’s a sign of moral and political bankruptcy.”

He added: “How could both young and old people not read anti-capitalist analysis after 2008, or now with the virus going on and recessions looming all over the western world.”

It is understood that the DfE is clear that schools should not work with agencies that take extreme positions, including promoting non-democratic political systems, and that teachers should be politically impartial.

Minister for school standards Nick Gibb said: “Our new relationships, sex and health education (RHSE) guidance and training resources equip all schools to provide comprehensive teaching in these areas in an age-appropriate way.

“These materials should give schools the confidence to construct a curriculum that reflects diversity of views and backgrounds, whilst fostering all pupils’ respect for others, understanding of healthy relationships, and ability to look after their own wellbeing.”

GCDS x Bratz (Yasmin)

Hi! it’s 4am  My GCDS x Bratz Yasmin came and I was way too excited not to rip her out and style her a little lol If you’re not aware, Bratz did a collaboration with Italian streetwear brand GCDS  that includes clothing, accessories and a set of two dolls, along with an incredibly immersive promo campaign unlike any I’ve seen for Bratz since, like, Forever Diamondz honestly- cars emblazoned with the Bratz artwork, an animated billboard, pop up shops in Europe, a gorgeous photo shoot and even a set of massive hand sculpted Bratz mannequins along with custom OOAK celebrity dolls sent as PR and drag queens recreating the doll’s looks to promote the launch - like, this is a CAMPAIGN. 

I was truly not expecting much from this launch when the listings leaked early this year, especially because Bratz’ branding has been a huge mess since 2019 and MGA seemed to care very little about the brand beyond Spencer’s merchandise and nostalgia pandering (and also because the 2018 was so frustratingly terrible- see my very impolite review here), but this line absolutely delivered for me in every way possible, both as a doll launch and especially as a Bratz launch. I don’t know who handled this collection at MGA but every aspect is infused with the essence of what made Bratz great and I feel so rewarded after waiting SO LONG for them to actually get something right. The 2001 repros definitely impressed as well but not to this degree (and we won’t talk about the tragic RA repros- though they are allegedly fixing them for the next batch so that’s nice!) I’m not going to do a full review but my friend posted one here and you can find more information about the launch from my other friend’s website Lookinbratz lol  My basic summed up thoughts are as follows: -Clothing is amazing quality with unique designs, based on actual GCDS clothing pieces- the shoe and accessory sculpts are also entirely new, which is something we haven’t seen for non-2015 bratz since 2013!!! Very exciting!! -The doll herself is absolutely stunning; a brand new screening based on some of the older Bratz screenings (very similar to Secret Date with some changes in shadow and iris design), gorgeous, thick, shiny nylon hair. It’s actually surreal for me to be handling a modern Bratz doll with a screening that feels so much like the originals but with modern makeup and eyebrows. They do have UV-printed eyes, but this is largely not noticeable on the dolls themselves so I’m not bothered by it.  -The box is GORGEOUS, incredibly well executed presentation. The box is so heavy and luxurious, the artwork is gorgeous and it feels so incredibly fresh while staying true to the Bratz DNA. The bottom portion turns into a large stand base, which can also be taken apart and made into a smaller rectangular base. -Quality control is excellent- I have yet to see any Yasmin dolls with flaws that I would consider unacceptable for a collector or playline doll (though Sasha’s QC seems to be worse, especially for her lipstick and hairline) And with that, here’s my Yasmin (well, one of them-I got two so I’d have an NIB one to display)

Surprisingly I didn’t wash her hair right away (which I tend to do with every doll) because she is so beautiful that I actually wanted to enjoy her without making any changes from the jump. Her hair is LONG. Like, past her ankles long, and it’s basically uncut. So while I love a doll with super long hair, once I did wash her I decided to cut an entirely new set of layers in her hair to make it look less bottom-heavy. She’s sitting like this right now until I dress her up again:

LOOK AT HER  I only have a few small qualms with this launch: -They come on the 2018 body ( a hybrid of the 2001 torso, 2007 Movie Starz articulated arms and 2013 hands) which I truly dislike; the 2001 torso was outdated for it’s time and it’s incredibly archaic now, and I wish MGA would invest the time and money into either creating a new body sculpt for Bratz, or utilizing their older/better body sculpts- specifically the Sisterz Kiani body, which is proportionally very similar to the 2001 body with a more aesthetically pleasing torso and modern hip articulation. -Yasmin’s skintone is not only different from her original skintone, but also from the 2001 repro and the (orange) 2018 doll; I actually think GCDS has a much nicer skintone than the previous versions (it has a little more pink to it) but it does mean that I can’t put her on a new body, which sucks lol. This is kind of a nitpick so I’m not really that bothered by it.  -I do think it would have been nice to include a second outfit, given that both Yasmin and Sasha come with very few pieces; however the pieces they do come with are very nice and made with quality materials, so I’m not super upset about it.  Otherwise, this is my favorite Bratz launch in over a decade and I really hope they keep doing stuff like this for them. Considering how successful this launch has been (they sold out everywhere on launch day), I really hope MGA can take this as a sign that Bratz requires this level of effort to be good and that adult doll collectors should be their primary target audience going forward.  Hopefully my GCDS Sasha dolls and Holiday Felicia will be just as stunning as Yasmin when they arrive!

The Fail Fix Kawaii.QTee I ordered from Amazon arrived and I’m pretty dang disappointed.

Just like 2Dreami, she has a slew of QC issues.

Not to mention the stolen artwork on her dress.

I don’t remember the details, but that was originally some Hello Kitty fanart that Moose stole and then changed just a little bit.

Anyway, the QC problems.

Just like my 2Dreami, her right wrist couldn’t go all the way into her forearm. I cut off the nub, again.

Here you can see the wrist sits properly, now.

Her body was dirty, right hip isn’t seated properly, right knee is misaligned (you can see it’s too far to the inside) and right knee also is a struggle to bend.

But the biggest issue she had:

At first I thought here eyes were misaligned, like 2Dreami but...

Her right eye wasn’t installed fully.

This is an unexpected shape! I cut off the sprue on the bottom (the nub on the top is to ensure proper placement and there is a divot for it in the eye well), and then was able to get it fully into her head with a wedge tool and some frustration.

The iris and white is printed directly onto the clear part. It would be pretty easy to alter or customize, with some work to make sure the clear stayed fully transparent. Also would be easy to make casts since the back is totally flat.

I got it in, but wrecked her paint in the process.

Honestly the only reason I ordered Kawaii.Qtee was so I could put a second doll on 2Dreami’s stand. I don’t know why I wanted to do that, but I very much did want to do that.

Since 2Dreami came with a second outfit, I took Kawaii.QTee out of the stolen art dress, and swapped some accessories around between the two.

It’s a little crowded. And my workstation is a mess; I’m working on ponies right now.

Better if I turn their heads.

I’ll likely tidy up her fail face mask so she can wear it now and then, but it does push up on her bangs in a weird way.

They’re cute! But those QC issues are a bummer.

Abstract

The study trying to utilize and allows to harness the natural and free solar energy gotten from the sun by converting the additional free enthalpy gotten as thermal and kinetic energy likewise into useful power; on other words the main concern is increasing the COP.

This type of AC will use as much solar energy as is available and convert the solar energy directly to replace the equivalent amount of AC power from the mains provider. Under optimum conditions, this can save up to 25% – 45 % of your mains power usage during the summer.

This will be most recent innovation in standalone power saving which is partially free of charge by the Sun.

The study aims to renovate the traditional refrigeration system which is normally known as compression refrigeration cycle everywhere in our buildings, so that it can be developed to take advantage of the free solar energy without complicated changes neither a completely demolishing.

Introduction

Jordan is among of the most enthusiastic developing country to promote utilization of renewable energy, as very well known the solar radiation in Jordan average within 4500 Wh/m2 to8000 Wh/ m2.

Not quite, but the future will be for renewable energy, however the first step should be renovating the transition phase of the hybridized types by paving the way for the renewable sources, as there is no doubt that renewable energy does not match in any way the traditional energy that we are accustomed to in term of cost neither the required efficiency.

Discussions and Ideas

Based on the below equations and numbers, a rapidly increasing in momentum during of heating the refrigerant gas R 134a:

As an estimation each pressure drop in heat exchanger 4m/ 100m and we have a 10 meters pipes so we have a 0.4 bar =4079 kgf/m2 (kg per sq. meter); let us multiply the factors as below:

0.2 kg/s (refrigerant flow rate) x 4079 kg/m2 x 0.02 m3/kg (specific volume @ 40 c & 2 bar) = 16 kg.m/s

This unit is a momentum, so let us try to get the momentum @ 90 c & 10 bar:

0.2 kg/s (refrigerant flow rate) x 4079 kg/m2 x 0.3m3/kg (specific volume @ 90 c & 10 bar) = 245 kg.m/s.

This is mean each change in momentum is a new specific impulse on other words this is producing a thrust force which is also a gain for the cycle.

Conclusion

• The system clearly shows that COP is increased from 4.3 to 5.5, by converting solar thermal energy to sub cooling additional for the refrigeration cycle.

• The system adds more 2 bars to the refrigeration cycle consequently increasing in the entropy as mean a quicker phase change due to quicker set-up of intermolecular bindings because of v Van der Waals forces yielding additional sub-cooling.

• The most important is we don’t have to increase condenser surface. It is very well capable to remove the additional heat, the Formula Q = alpha X surface x delta T. Alpha is heat transfer coefficient and does not change, If Delta T increases due to higher temperature of the refrigerant entering the condenser, the condenser just transfers more heat. The environment as the heat absorbing media is capable of taking up that additional heat. For more explanation, let say what happened with radiators: if you flush water with a temperature of 45 °C through the radiator, it does not provide that much heat as if you flush water through with a temperature of 90 °C so the radiator is capable of doing the job.

Basically W (KJ/Kg) = ∫p*dv, however the dv in heat exchanger considered zero by other words it’s an Isochoric Work When V is held constant and P changes W = 0 Because gas is not doing any work but as surrounding adds energy to internal energy of gas That’s why Cp is always greater than Cv Specific heat capacity at constant pressure is always greater than Specific heat capacity at constant volume, now once the gas goes through the condenser a quicker phase change occurred there cause When gas expands it has to do work to push environment to create space for its expansion by spending energy from its internal energy that’s why suddenly Gas cools down.

Data Analysis

The below study shows if reduce refrigerant up to certain limit could be useful for COP, however should we not reach to the maximum temperature of 120 c which is the critical temperature, however power consumption is reduced accordingly (Table 1).
