...Man. Okay, I was enjoying @kitten-kin's latest and thinking about how Bond is the type of person that WILL find a way to do ANYTHING if it's a bet.
He NEEDS to win bets! No matter what he has to do (what rules he has to break, what odds he needs to defy, what laws of physics he has to violate) he WILL find a way to win! He CANNOT accept defeat! He cannot be content with LOSING a bet!
...And now I'm thinking of Q successfully getting Bond to retire and go to therapy and look after his wellbeing by BETTING that Bond is incapable of doing so.
