hmmmm my personal theory for Welcome Home is the feeling of like. having to grow up and losing the people you love along the way. we the (audience) have grown past wally and the neighbor hood. all the residents had left there original homes and families to wind up in the neighborhood.

Hot Take: Luke's fatal flaw should have been a sense/drive for justice. He has been shown to get angry for the behalf of others multiple times when they were done wrong. He rages and hates perceived injustice, and wants to make it right. It makes one righteous, and fight for the right thing. Yet if you overdo it it'll easily have you adopt a "The Ends Justify The Means", making you focused purely on getting your justice. And the the possible damage in your wake. IDK I just think it would feel the theme of fatal flaws a lot better, and also have Luke parallel Percy more. Their flaw is a generally positive trait, the danger comes from overdoing it.

Ouff now you're asking the real (and complicated) question. Now, the key to dealing with a timeloop is keeping your cool and dealing well on your own. But then it depends heavily on how the timeloop is solved, if it's fixing a wrong action that is very different from getting a true love's kiss. Let's go with the former.

The best:

Max - listen he might not be the most romantic, but he will do anything to solve a problem. By day 2 he's telling everyone he's in a timeloop and asking for advice and googling like crazy. He will go around kissing everyone to check, it'll be solved in a week tops.

Valtteri - this man is chill and solution oriented. His inner zen will carry him through it, tho it might take him a bit to solve it, he'll amuse himself by trying crazy shit in the mean time.

Pierre - now listen I don't think he's the most emotionally stable guy around, but he is a big romantic and a believer in fate. If it was any other scenario he would not deal, but true love? It takes him three days.

The worst:

George - obvious pick, my man is stressed enough already, any timeloop pushes him over the edge. Will be too scared to ask anyone for help, and too much of a goody two-shoes to try anything. It's pure random luck that gets him out after a solid month.

Lando - my man does not deal well on his own, and gets stuck in emotional ruts. Takes him forever because he spends at least two weeks in the loop being depressed in his bed.

Fernando - too busy committing crimes without consequences for fun to solve it. Only after he's driven into every other driver twice he might start thinking of a way to escape.

Highschool charlie and dee being friends, watching alien and aliens with the gang at the Reynolds household before alien 3 comes out in 1992. Ripley in the robot suit comes on screen and Mac jokes its Dee, she's about to snap back at him but Charlie interrupts that's actually cool and that's why always thought her brace was cool or something. Dennis and Mac roll their eyes and make gagging noises says Dee looks more like the queen Queen Xenomorph. Later that fall Charlie fixes up he brace to look like the robot suit and sews/fixes himself up a Xenomorph costume for Halloween.
