The semi active puppies catching balls and playing gently with each other. The hyper puppies all wrestling and biting. there's something about pupspace that extends beyond just sexual for me and i very frequently feel guilty or gross for it. im trying not to, just because there is something so freeing in feeling Not Completely Human. something so good in being able to have thoughts that mostly just consist of the way your partner smells or the next comfy spot to lay down or how to ask for pets and scratches. chewing is a valid and good way to self regulate and by god, please don't make me talk, because talking requires thinking and i don't want to think.

going to someone's place for dinner and a movie and they unexpectedly treat you like a dog the whole time. calling you a good puppy and petting you, cooing and giggling. you feel humiliated that this is all they think of you, and you keep looking away or covering your face all while mumbling weak retaliations every time they say something to you. your tail has already given away that you love what they are doing, although you didn't realize until they pointed it out while giggling.

you hide your face but they move your hands away. they smile and ask you to bark for them. you're already whining and whimpering, so you let out a small bark. they give you endless praises while you feel yourself sinking into puppyspace as you bark some more for them. the night continues as you both watch a movie as you lay your head in their lap while they pet you.
