I didn't watch Encanto yet, I'm one of those who just-- I can't force my brain to decide to check things out when they're being overhyped. I have no control of it. Which is kinda sad. That's why I only began watching Paw Patrol last month. But Encanto (and Red) is in my list to watch!! I will. At some point. I promise. I know it's good, all my friends and acquaintances have told me that already. I'm waiting for my brain to say TODAY IS THE DAY, LET'S WATCH ENCANTO.

I miss seeing you guys as Merpups. Am I able to see a see all three of you in your Merpup forms by any chance?

Sadly we can only transform if we meet a Merpup who would be willing to use their magic on us. We haven't visited Puplantis in a while, so yeah... And to be honest, I miss the experience of being a Merpup too. It was so cool!

Our Mod could draw some Merpup art in the meantime, but she isn't able to keep accepting free requests anymore because she's been going through some hardships and needs money, but her commissions are open, in case you'd be interested! The artworks she does for commissioners are very carefully detailed and any kind of help would mean the world to her!

But for now she made this quick small doodle for you! We hope you'll like it!

Why Moby Might Be Autistic (Paw Patrol)

If you've watched the new Aqua Pups episode, you know about Moby, the villain of the series. He's portrayed as a merpup who hates singing and dancing and gets mad when no one obeys him.

I have an observation I've made based on my experiences as an autistic person (and my brother's) and I've decided that Moby could be autistic.

Reason 1-- Overstimulation

Moby has noise cancelling headphones to get rid of the sound of the merpups singing. And the singing does seem really, really loud. So, there's a chance Moby could have been overstimulated by the noise, and has a pair of noise cancelling headphones to ease it.

Reason 2-- Special Interests

Moby seems to have a special interest in technology and possibly squids. He is shown to be fairly happy while doing things related to these interests.

Reason 3-- Nonverbal Moments

I get that this one is a bit of a stretch, because all merpup-borns cannot talk. However, I like to think that he does not feel comfortable speaking in puplantis.

Moby expects everything to go the way he wants it to, and gets mad when it doesn't. This is a very common thing autistic people do, but can happen with different emotions too

Why do you dislike Aqua Pups if I may ask?

I simply didn't like how it completely disregarded PAW Patrol's own history and just did whatever it wanted. For example, a pup that transforms into a Merpup is supposed to transform back once the moon sets, and Coral just... didn't. She was allowed to stay as a Merpup forever, and with no explanation. Also, remember in season 4, when Sid and Arrby took that pearl-making clam from Puplantis castle and it started to crumble? Yeah... it just doesn't now, and with no explanation as to why. Oh, and remember when Moby was transformed back into a Merpup at the end of the first Aqua Pups episode, and they offered no explanation as to how he transformed back for the rest? Yeah...

The writing was just so... poor. It's like they didn't care, whatsoever. Top it off with Aqua Pups treating Marshall so terribly (pushing him to the side way too much, giving him only small or easy things to do, etc.), and it easily became one of my least favorite subseries out of the whole bunch.

If any of you liked it, then I'm happy to hear that. As I always say, I never try to push my opinions onto others, so by all means, watch and enjoy. But I didn't like it... at all.

So today I was watching "Sea Patrol: Pups Save Puplantis". For clarification it is chapter 26 season 4.

So I remembered that when I came out and and I saw it for the first time it was very good because everyone goes and has fun with the mer-pups, but then Sid's ship appears, and Chase who was excited to go and become a mer-pup with everyone else but when he saw the ship he better stayed to help.

And then again he stayed to help they all went in submarine subpatroller? it is i think but chase stayed and he didn't go in the submarine even though he really wanted to go.

And Chase found Sid's submarine who is sinking for so many pearls because they stole the oyster from puptlantis.

And Chase takes out all the things of Sid's boat, and the mer-pup transforms Chase into a mer-pup

just look at him, he was so excited that finally was a merpup

And he saved the puptlantis oyster, and Chase was also able to have fun being a merpup. I love him.

And out of this chapter came an idea about 4 years ago, which was weird, kind of bloody, and I don't really remember much about it, maybe later I'll do a post specifically about that idea.

tfw you read a paw patrol AU fanfic where female merpups have the ability to transform into were-merpups and they got a quirk where they would go berserk during the blood moon.

but the protags didn't even do anything to warn the human citizens in puplantis when they are watching the blood moon, and decides to save themselves instead, which results many getting brutally mauled by were-merpups in the process.

also Cpt. Turbot and Francois Turbot are the casualties of the incident as well.

So I just had an awesome dream

Night Ninja (Pj Masks) stole the shell of Puplantis (paw patrol) for reasons.

So Calvin and Hobbes (Calvin and Hobbes) team up with Violet (baby merpup) to get the shell back and they steal the pj masks' powers to do so. Calvin gains Catboy's powers, Hobbes gains Gekko's powers, and Violet gains Owlette's powers.

Also they fight a ninjalino (Night Ninja's minions) that has the ability to turn into 2d shadow scribbling (not sure how to word that) and they can still affect 3d objects (or antiheroes) in this form: it's a tough fight.

On this day in 2018, we get to see the magical kingdom of Puplantis and its magic shell. Also, Chase and Rubble get to be merpups for the first time.

Here's an idea. What if in the show. The main six pups and the first six later pups swapped places?

Idk where you're going with this idea, but I think Ryder would be able to manage the new pups in Adventure Bay alright XD

Six, though...? I watched up to Everest, Tracker, Rex, Liberty...? Wild is a cat. Uh. Do you mean Coral and Al? I didn't get to see them in the show yet so I wouldn't know how they'd go in Adventure Bay XD As for Everest, she's basically a regular there. Tracker isn't strange to Adventure Bay either, from what I heard Liberty goes there sometimes for a visit, and Rex went there at least three times...? He wouldn't be a total stranger to the town either. They'd do well.

As for the main pups going other places, that would depend on where each pup will go to. None of them are strangers to Jake's mountain, the jungle, Dino Wilds/Sanctuary, or Adventure City. Dunno what other places we'd be talking about. Puplantis? They've been there a lot of times already too as far as I know, I just didn't get to see it. As for Al's place, I have no idea where he's from, all I know about him is that he's a trucker and that's it.

Dumb question But

Rocky, Have you ever thought of meeting another inventor pup thats not evil? (Since the only 2 inventor pups are Gasket and Moby, buy they're evil)

I wouldn't go as far as calling them evil... Gasket's more like, having her rebel teenage phase. As for Moby... He's just antisocial.

Some people or pups don't feel comfortable in crowds or they just want peace and quiet to work, so having hundreds of neighbors who love to party all the time must be stressing. I know I get annoyed when I'm trying to concentrate to work but the pups won't stop playing and making too much noise around me. Just my luck the Lookout is big enough and we're only six pups, so it's easy for me to find a quiet spot away from everything whenever I need it. Moby has hundreds of Merpups around and not a single quiet place in the entire Puplantis!

But yeah, I would like to meet another inventor like me. I bet if I could take Moby away from Puplantis, we could talk about our inventions and trade some ideas and tips! He seems to love inventing and building cool things, not to mention he always reuses discarded items he finds in the sea, these are things I can totally relate to!

As 2022 draws to an end, I figured I'd look back at the year and talk a little about just how it's been for a Marshall fan like myself.

To be honest, things started out pretty good at first. Season 8 continued calling Marshall in for some decent rescues, he got to star in that Cat Pack short, and after three and a half seasons, the pup finally got to use his EMT Gear again! Things were going pretty well!

Sadly, it all started to go downhill after that. I know some fans have made the claim that season 9's been doing a good job of "appreciating" every pup, but the truth is, it really hasn't. This, unfortunately, rings especially true for Marshall. Suddenly, my favorite started to get restricted to smaller tasks during missions, he got called in less and less as a first responder, and they even stopped using him on title cards for some reason. Big Truck Pups never gave him much at all, and now I fear Aqua Pups will give him even less (especially if the recent "Aqua Pups Save a Mer-Race" and that book "Dive into Puplantis" are any indication).

While I'm happy some of you have been enjoying season 9, unfortunately, I haven't. IMO, 2022 simply wasn't good to Marshall or his fans. Not in the least. But, who knows what the future holds. Maybe the rest of season 9 will finally show Marshall some appreciation? Or, perhaps season 10 will be his time to shine again? Better yet, maybe he'll get something special in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie? (If anything, I hope he at least gets his elevator wipeout this time.)

I'm not bursting with optimism, but as a big fan of Marshall who still loves the character so very much, I'm hopeful 2023 will give me something better to look forward to. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
