PJ MASKS REDESIGN AU

AU: Dark Crystal - DC - #DCrystalPjmasks

(Today I only have the design of the ninjalinos and Octobella, important characters for the AU ;3 )

I honestly didn't know what changes to make to Octobella's design...so I just made her colors more opaque (proof that she's getting older lol)

And well...the ninjalinos are some of my favorite characters, so I like to make them suffer >:)

I think they could have like a kind of jutsu(? like Naruto's) I really have to think carefully about that part.

The reason they have scars is because I noticed how VIOLENT the Pj Masks get, they literally get thrown thousands of feet into the air and fall like nothing💀 (Happens to almost all villains) so I already had in mind to give them quite a few battle scars.

Some of the reasons for scars are:

Marvin: Armadylan threw him in the wrong place (he fell on a light pole and tore his arm)

Daysis: Catboy tried to pull her with his cat stripes from his leg, Catboy pulled too much and caused that cut.

Oskar: Well, you know, Owlette's feathers

Noriko: You could say she has the biggest scar. Catboy (again lol) tied her from the waist with his cat stripes and to prevent Noriko from escaping he tightened the cat stripe TOO much, and because of the lightning shape it has, that caused a cut to Noriko's entire waist/abdomen (poor thing :< )

I filled an entire page of my sketchbook with Nori!

I love them sm!!! This has to be one of my favorite of your rewrites, I seriously did not think I could actually care abt PJ Masks past the age of 6 but now I'm obsessed 😭

On another note, just a random thing I'm curious about, before breaking off from GunnTech, did the main three basically live at the facility since they were initiated? I guess they do from what I’ve seen, but I was just wondering if they ever had to go to like. School or something, when they're not training. And if they ever got to see their family again (though I doubt both the kids and their family would want to lol)

And one more thing, totally important and necessary to ask, how does Nori acquire the kids? (..that doesnt sound right)

Like does he break in to the facility from time to time or did they just bring them with him when they left GunnTech or does he take them in when he finds them just out and about??

NORI… OUR FAVOURITE PROBLEM! The way you draw eyes scratches my brain /positive.

I think the idea is that everyone does live at GunnTech, they have rooms and go to school. GunnTech also has a prison somewhere (like, sci fi, clean, sterile white prison, a glass front-wall for cells instead of bars, and that’s where everyone gets put in Season 4. But, before that, when the main three villains (or at least, just Luna and Nori) escaped, it wasn’t totally locked down so they had to walk out suspiciously/tell the security guards reasons (you need to give reasons when leaving GunnTech so, “I’m hanging out with a friend” comes with ‘who is the friend + give us contact details’) and then probably remove a tracker (unsure as to whether the wristbands are the trackers or the trackers are put into their chest implants), and try to avoid getting caught for the rest of the time (until season 3-4 ofc). The main story probably begins with the three MCs trying to find them and bring them back. Romeo’s wanted cause he stole tech, though, he’s not a mutant.

Nori risks his life basically (not literally but he risks huge punishment) by constantly breaking into the facility to get out new kids. Kids who haven’t yet been mutated all have one room (several large rooms for many kids’ bunk beds basically, not literally one big room 😭) and he goes in and saves one or two each time. Some kids don’t *want* to come with him, thinking this is a cool superhero opportunity. He has an easier time helping kids who are scared and having second thoughts. He’s very gentle.

Also reminder that Nori had their finger prints burned off yipeeee. He’s not letting that happen to the others. (It doesn’t happen to every kid, but GunnTech probably has categories (like, heroes: animals, space, spies, drivers, healers?) and if you’re in the (name is a work in progress) Spies Category (stealth category?) like Nori, you get your finger prints burned off.

Daisy is canonically one of the only two Ninjalino names we know! I might make her into a small side character so that art isn’t 100% solid but eh!

Also he can’t really just “take them back to their parents”. If you’re a child at GunnTech, your parents either gave you away for money or you’re an orphan.

Nori’s usually a sassy ‘problem’ but they have their really serious and gentle moments.

Pip- *Ninjalino-ese* (master…… i have something to say)

Night Ninja- ugh!…… what is it Pip?! im trying to figure out a plan about how to defeat the PJ Pests! I haven’t got any time for silly chats you ninja ninny!

Pip- *hangs her head in shame and leaves to go outside* *Ninjalino-ese* (oh master…… everyday i feel like a burden to you, i feel like im invisible to you because every time i try and get your attention you just turn your eyes away from me and just continue to come up with villainous plans…… one time when An Yu sent us down the mountain i got bruises on me and my arm was….. broken but you didn’t care you just said “Ninjalinos! Help me back to the temple NOW!”….. so we did and you snapped at us all the way back……,)

Night Ninja- *comes outside and overhears Pip with a tear in his eye and hand on his heart feeling sadly touched and guilty*

Pip- *Ninjalino-ese* (when it was my birthday i was so looking forward to it but…… you made me obey your orders and made me train like it was a normal night and nothing special was happening…… do you just sweep our birthdays under the rug and just think about yours when it happens?…… when was the last time you celebrated my birthdays or one of the other Ninjalino’s birthdays?……. you didn’t even let us celebrate Christmas either….. do you let us have any fun or any breaks when we train?……. you overwork us and you make us look bad…… we don’t get paid or even get any breaks, snacks or anything to drink…… it’s just work, work, work!……. it never ends and you always take our ideas and opinions!….. all we want is to be loved and appreciated!….. isn’t that too much to ask?!…. *sniffs*…… you don’t even care about our feelings!…. you don’t care…… you ju- *hears footsteps coming towards her, turns round and sees Night Ninja* master?!)

Night Ninja- Pip….. i heard everything you said…… and i……

Pip- *Ninjalino-ese in a trembling voice* (*gulps* yes?)

Night Ninja- love you!….. don’t ever think i don’t care about you because that’s not true…. even though i do ignore you sometimes i still care about you…… and if you ever feel down come and talk to me….. even though i get mad….. promise me that you’ll never speak about me like that again!

Pip- *Ninjalino-ese in a trembling voice* (i promise master…… *cries* im sorry*

Night Ninja- come here! *hugs Pip and teleports himself and Pip back to Night Ninja’s room as they hugged* shhhhh it’s gonna be ok…… let’s talk about it more tomorrow…… right now i don’t wanna let you go….. sleep with me tonight Pi- Pip? *sees Pip has fallen asleep in his arms* awwwwww! *hugs PiP a bit tighter and kisses her good night*

I always thought that maybe the ninjalinos take advantage of the fact that the heroes sometimes don't understand them, so they insult them (Night Ninja didn't teach them a good language)
