I don't know what to make for dinner this week! Ideas would be appreciated <3
I got a slow cooker for Christmas so I should probably use that eventually. I'm thinking a pork roast
personally, i plan on making pulled pork sandwiches later this week. so like, you could do that!
so what you do is you get it in the slow cooker EARLY. let it do its full cycle and when it's about an hour away you mix up a sauce. tomato sauce, pineapple juice, worcestershire, hot sauce, teriyaki/soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, molasses/brown sugar, red chili flakes, some broth for body and some corn starch to thicken it. if you have any, maraschino cherry juice too. let it thicken and cool. then you shred the meat, let it rest a bit, then toss it in the sauce, throw it in a baking pan, cover with foil, and toss it in the oven for an extra hour at a low temp. top with cheese and extra hot sauce to taste. if you feel like going extra fancy, thinly slice then caramelize some red onion for on top
oooh now I'm excited for that
or another slow cooker meal I'm asked to make frequently is creamy shredded street tacos. chicken breasts, jar of salsa, and a bottle of crema mexicana table cream (but a block of cream cheese would work too). that of course gets shredded and put on tortillas, covered in pico de gallo and squeezed lime on top. bam.
finally, no crock pot for this one, but you could always make a bitchin' salad. like go crazy with the ingredients. blueberries, raspberries, bacon bits, egg, radish, carrot, peppers, sausage, corn, jalapenos, clover sprouts, multiple cheeses, italian seasoning, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, literally go crazy. an indulgent salad is soooo good for the soul. and the nutrition can't be understated either.
anyway those are my suggestions

Cafe Alegriaâs Taco Tuesdays Offers Street Tacos and Cocktails All Night Long
Itâs Taco Tuesday once again at CafĂŠ Alegria and Iâm here to party the night away with these delectable street tacos and overflowing cocktails at this amazing streetside venue. Who cares if itâs not even the middle of the week yet? It definitely feels like a Friday whenever Cafe Alegria rolls out their live comal station for everyone to see and enjoy.
CafĂŠ Alegria is a hip hangout spot at the Forbestown BGC area serving contemporary Latin American cuisine. They serve breakfast and lunch specialties all throughout the week, but for tonight Iâm here with my friends for a special weekly event that promises to be full of great street food and bubbly beverages with a refreshing party vibe.
Taco Tuesday at CafĂŠ Alegria happens every Tuesday afternoon and offers their signature street tacos for only P129 per piece. Thatâs an amazing promotion that is sure to bring everybody here, especially with their other cocktail and bevarage promos.
You can enjoy these tacos in the company of your friends or workmates while enjoying the fabulous beats put together by their resident DJs. For that evening, DJ Francie Gee took care of the beats with her playlist.
CafĂŠ Alegia has a casual and refreshing ambiance with its colorful murals and Mexican decors and trinkets. You can choose to have your tacos at the al fresco area outside or here inside their air-conditioned dining space.
You can order some refreshing cocktails while waiting for your tacos like the Sangria (P350). Their Happy Hour happens daily from 4:00pm to 8:00pm so you can get Buy 1 Take 1 on their classic and signature cocktails.
During Taco Tuesdays, CafĂŠ Alegria also offers 3 Shots of Jose Cuervo for only P500 so you can dare your friends to have as many shots as they can. You can also get 50% off on your second bottle of Jose Cuervo.
For appetizers, we had these delicious fluffy Brazilian bread rolls called Pao de Quiejo that you can dip in their special guava sauce. Thereâs also honey and butter dips if you prefer.
Of course, the main highlight of the evening were the street tacos that were all cooked and prepared right there in front of all the guests and passers-by to see.
Chef Charles MontanĂąez brings out the live comal station for Taco Tuesdays and this is where the action happens. I could hear the oven firing away and could smell the Porchetta and other items cooking because we were seated just in front of the station. I couldnât wait any longer so I just had to have my tacos right now!
I started with their Pork Carnitas with its slow cooked pork, pickled onions, and salsa XO. All their tacos come with homemade corn tortilla tacos and are served with salsa roja and salsa verde.
Another item I tried was the Baja Fish Fry which comes with chipotle mayo and pineapple salsa. This is a lighter taco for those who prefer seafood.
The Beef Birria was one of the favorites that evening. Birria is a Maxican beef stew so the meat is very tender and falls apart similar to pulled pork. This taco comes with Jalisco beef stew, cheese, and beef consomme.
Another option for the health-conscious is the Vegetarian Birria with its pulled king oyster mushroom, cheese, and Mexican mushroom consomme.
Other items you can try include the Beef Guisado which has slow cooked beef, cilantro, and crispy onions. Thereâs also the Chicken Barbacoa with its Thai grilled chicken, pickled apple, cucumber and carrot plus salsa bruja.
There are several sauces to choose from and you can request any of these to go with your tacos. Itâs impossible to have just one taco, so order an many pieces as you like since they are only P129 each. We ended our Taco Tuesday with their Churros (P230) that come with dulce de leche dip.
We would like to thank Chef Charles MontaĂąez for all the wonderful tacos that evening and our good friend Chinkee Koppe for inviting us and hosting this fabulous event at CafĂŠ Alegria. Taco Tuesday happens every Tuesday afternoon until late in the evening so make sure to take advantage of this weekly promotion.

Finally got to sample the @stonebrewing hard seltzer offerings, now available everywhere. Suddenly, weâre reflecting on the halcyon days of New York Seltzer and Clearly Canadian seltzers. Below are our quick thoughts and later our review notes. . . . Of all the releases from @stonebrewing's Buenavida Hard Seltzer line, it would have to be the Black Cherry. As someone who grew up with Clearly Canadian and New York Seltzer, we have a soft spot for this dark fruit. And we gotta say, it's like someone soaked dark cherries in a glass of hard seltzer. Paired with some cheesecake or as a follow up to a Manhattan, this was a solid hard seltzer. . . . Fresh cut oranges, Chinese orange chicken, or a plate of corn tortilla chips paired with orange and pineapple salsa. A growing list of foods that pair with this @stonebrewing Buenavida Hard Seltzer Mandarin. Evocative of orange zest while still inspiring olfactory recall of TANG (yeah, the powdered orange juice), this is a fun hard seltzer. . . . Street tacos, pulled pork sandwiches, after doing some Spring cleaning. What will you pair your next @stonebrewing Buenavida Hard Seltzer Watermelon Lime with? With firm notes of lime and subtle notes of watermelon, Buenavida Hard Seltzer Watermelon Lime is available in the brewery's variety pack. Overall, a fun choice with the mixture of lime and watermelon. . . . Effervescent, tropical, and clear as glass. There are some words to describe Buenavida Hard Seltzer Mango by @stonebrewing. Like so many breweries, Buenavida Hard Seltzer represents the culmination of research to replicate the tastes of sparkling water, accented by mango fruit, with just the right amount of alcohol. The result is a hard seltzer that isn't overly cloying and has only 100 calories. https://instagr.am/p/CbbHKV-P31Z/

HLF: cooking chicken 101? My roommate hates ground beef, but that, skillet burgers, and baked fish are pretty much the only things I know how to do beyond 'prepackaged with baking directions'.
Chicken is super easy and really flexible! If your roommate hates ground beef, the first thing to figure out is what the fuck is wrong with your roommate what sort of things youâre looking to substitute for! âHow to cook chickenâ is a super broad topic.Â
Do you use ground beef to make tacos? Chicken is a fine sub for this, from throwing a chunky salsa, a drained can of black beans, seasoning, and boneless skinless chicken thighs into a crockpot for an exceptionally easy late night meal, all the way up to making chicken tinga with your own sauce.Â
If all you know how to do are those three things I somehow doubt youâre making your own meatballs, but if you are, thereâs both ground chicken and ground turkey to your rescue! Make sure not to overcook, and I often use Worcestershire sauce to give a taste of meatiness, but itâs a perfectly acceptable way to spice up a tomato sauce or make meatballs.Â
Chicken breast can be thrown into most pasta or rice dishes, usually what I do is cut them into cubes, marinade with something that seems to go with my dish (Like teriyaki marinade for a pineapple rice or wine and garlic for a pasta dish) and then just really quickly cook the cubes in a pan until theyâre finished and have nice caramelization on the outside. Toss em into anything! Theyâre great in salads!Â
Baked chicken legs is a go to Iâve had forever! Recipe below:
You need:
Chicken drumsticks (this recipe is for about 5-6, but it works on any amount)
1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
Sauce (I have included some recipes/ideas below but you can use anything you like on chicken! Jill is very fond of Sweet Baby Ray's, so, butch approved)
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and put the flour and baking powder in a bag (depending on how salty the sauce I'm going to use is, I will put alpine touch or salt in there, too) . Two or so at a time, shake the drumsticks to coat them.
Put the drumsticks on a foil covered baking sheet, skin side up, Â with just a light light light spray of canola oil (You can omit this, too, but I get frustrated when/if they stick).
Cook the drumsticks for about 40-50 minutes, depending on your oven. USE A MEAT THERMOMETER CHICKEN GETS OVERCOOKED EASILY. It should be at 140 when you pull it out of the oven.
When you pull them, change the oven to broil on high.
When it's out of your oven, use a basting, pastry, or paint brush if that's all you got to brush the sauce of your choosing onto the chicken. Make sure to brush all sides. Â Put it under the broiler for about four minutes, turn, and do the the other side for about four minutes, until it's got some nice color and crispiness, to your liking.
Serve! I make these whenever I don't feel "like cooking."
Sauce ideas:
Recipes:
Lemon pepper: Â 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup lemon juice, about a tablespoon of diced lemon peel if you've got it or just the zest of a lemon if you don't, 2 minced gloves of garlic, and lots of cracked black pepper. You can add a little bit of cornstarch for thickness if you want.
Beautiful lazy as fuck ranch sauce: 1/4 cup olive oil, packet of ranch seasoning, 1 tablespoon of apple cider or red wine vinegar.
Maple bourbon sauce: 1/3 cup orange juice, 1/3 cup maple syrup, 3 tablespoons bourbon. Cook this one down a little in a saucepan until it gets thicker and more, well, saucelike.
balsamic chicken: 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 3 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, two minced garlic cloves. Cook this one down a little, too.
Pineapple soy: 1/4 cup pineapple juice, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, a few hearty shakes of cracked red pepper, and, if you have it, a touch of fish sauce. cook down a little.
To buy:
Any of the McCormick spice blends will work if you lightly brush with olive oil and then sprinkle the spice blend over the skin
Soy Vay has a bunch of delicious sauces of the soy-based variety, if you're looking for that sort of flavor.
Jill loves all the varieties of Sweet Baby Ray's.
As always, let me know if you try this!

Miss pineapple ma'am I have to ask: what foods are acceptable to put pineapple in and which aren't? For science
Okay, off the top of my head...
Things that Iâve tried (or remember trying) that are acceptable with pineapple:
Hawaiian, Vegetable, or Supreme pizza.
Barbecue (on meats or on vegetable skewers/kabobs)
Burgers
Those lil rings they put on turkeys and hams. Honestly I donât think it majorly contributes to the flavor, more so the glaze. But dang does it go well together.
Punch bowl cake (angel food cake, cool whip, cream cheese, various fruits)
Hummingbird cake
PiĂąa coladas (not a food technically but valid)
Other alcoholic drinks (yeah not a food either but so valid)
Any piĂąa colada type desert or candies
Fruit or vegetable mix trays. The acidity from pineapple is a much needed balance.
Sherbet
Some ice creams (that compliment, like with coconut)
Various smoothies
(Iâve got a bad memory but Iâm sure thereâs other foods itâs okay in....)
Food that pineapple is on THIN fucking ice for being acceptable in:
Fruit punch (I only put this here because again, not a food but people do apparently like it. But I hate fruit punch, itâs a crime).
There used to be a restaurant in my town that had this pulled pork taco that had a little bit of pineapple salsa on it. Not exactly your traditional taco but god it was really good.
Food pineapple is NOT valid in:
Sushi
Stir fry
Salsa â yes Iâve had some salsa that had a fruit or pineapple in it, some were an interesting combination but most are not good and not real salsa. Overall a lie - sometimes tasty, most often not.
Salad (if you put pineapple in salad, itâs no longer a salad. Youâre a coward who fears the taste of greens and your attempt at healthy eating is a lie, along with the other 8+ unnecessary ingredients chosen to defend your argument).
Any other pizza than the previously acceptable types listed (Pineapple is what makes hawaiin pizza hawaiin pizza, and pineapple adds a nice balance against the bitters of the vegetables in supreme and vegetative pizza).
Orange chicken - itâs literally called orange chicken. Not pineapple chicken. And I donât fucking care if youâve been to an Asian buffet and there was pineapple in the chicken. Itâs NOT orange chicken anymore.
Potato salad. I donât know why some of you sick fucks up north are obsessed with putting the craziest shit in potato salad and still DARE call it potato salad or casserole. It should be considered a crime.
I once endured overhearing a conversation of a man who loved peanut butter and pineapple sandwiches. I donât remember his face or where it was, just the vile seething hatred, confusion, and bewilderment I experienced after.
As a method of making your [redacted] taste better when someone goes [redacted] on you, or when someone [redacted] and you [redacted] their [redacted].
Iâm sure thereâs various other unorthodox and sinful, disgusting ways to combine pineapple with other things that it Does Not Belong With
Feel free to add anything else!
#roombagreyjoy#btw thanks! and sorry!!#idk how long this has been in my inbox#i never get notifications for these things and idk why#answered asks#ask#asks#pineapples

đđźđşđ˝đšđśđşđ˛đťđđŽđżđ | I went down to @lupita_restaurants last week for a lil Mexican feast. đŻ With restaurants east and west, I went to the Kensington location. We started with the lamb taquitos, which I really enjoyed, and this amazing cheese and chorizo mix, ultimate cheese pull goals there đ§. We also went for the chicken tinga quesadillas, which were nice, and the enchiladas, which were coated in a salsa verde rather than a tomato sauce, which Iâm usually used to. It was my mistake, I should have read the menu more carefully. I did find the chicken in the enchiladas lacking any seasoning though, it was quite noticeably plain. For the tacos we tried out the baja fish, which were AMAZING. Nicely deep fried fillets of fish with pineapple pico de gallo and chipotle mayo. The soft shell crab was also a good choice. The pork al Pastor and the Campechano (steak and chorizo) were both okay in taste, but the meats were quite tough. The seafood tacos are definitely the way to go. đŽ No Iâm not sure if it was meant to be like this, or if something went wrong, but the chocolate sauce with the churros was REALLY sour, almost like vinegar. It was very inedible. It wasnât sweet in the slightest. The cocktails were nice, and theyâve got a great selection. đš So there was some things here that I really liked and thought was great, but there was also a few dishes that were quite a let down. Iâd definitely go back for the seafood tacos, cheese and chorizo, quesadillas, and the drinks. . . . . . . #EEEEEATS #eater #eaterlondon #food #foodporn #yum #instafood #yummy #eating #foodpic #foodpics #foodgasm #foodstagram #london #foodie #lovefood #buzzfeast #foooodieee #eatfamous #eatingfamous #devourpower #certifiedgrilllover #mexican #mexicanfood #tacos #quesadillas (at Lupita) https://www.instagram.com/p/B31sF2ZnOmz/?igshid=g4uqk930odyi

Hi! I'm trying to find your bbq sauce recipe you posted a few weeks ago but can't find it, can you post it again? It'll go great with my pulled pork tonight!
I can't find it either apparently. but do i remember the recipe? also no. but i do also change it every time so i can just write u up a new one. and properly tag it so it doesn't get lost lmao
start with pineapple juice (and/or ginger ale). if you cooked your meat in liquid, you can add some of that broth to it too. then you add a good chunk of brown sugar. no, a little more. eeeh yeah maybe just a little more. okay yeah that's probably good. and some honey/mead. actually if you have the honey to spare dial back on the brown sugar and go crazy with honey. okay now heat that mixture up on like a medium and get the sugar good and dissolved.
now for the essential flavors. add 2-3 good capfuls of apple cider vinegar, and a can of tomato sauce. maybe half a shot of teriyaki sauce and a few squirts of worcestershire sauce. liquid smoke if you're a fan, but not much, it can easily overpower everything. and a good hearty glob of your favorite hot sauce (I reccomend La Perrona). also a pinch of chili powder on top of that don't hurt. don't forget onion & garlic powder/salt to your tastes.
now add any other flavors you might want! some things I've added that I really enjoyed were: maraschino cherry juice, gin, raspberry puree, orange marmalade, chicken bouillon, IPA/hoppy alcohol, harissa, horseradish, Dr. Pepper, liquidy salsa, cheap red wine, taco seasoning, or limeade. obviously not all of these at the same time, that... well, I'm curious, but it probably wouldn't be good. anyway if you're not feeling super dangerous, that's fair, you can skip these.
if you need more liquid, you can always add more pineapple juice or ginger ale, or you can also add broths or coconut water or something. now once your mix is simmering (and you've stirred off any remaining carbonation from any sodas added), add some corn starch mixed into some cold water. should thicken up pretty good, if not add more starch! once it's started to thicken up, take it off the heat and let it cool.
hopefully that helps anon! really barbeque sauce is like jazz, meant to be played with, meant to be unique. make it your own, y'know?

Today was amazing we literally smoked weed and stuffed our faces all day, cuddles scary movies sex its perfection. Shes so swollen that she said she felt like a whale. Also told me if this is what being pregnant feels like then she needs to be fat and pregnant all the time. Shes too nervous about it being so new to this community that she doesnt want to post rn but she said sheâd think about it in the future, meanwhile she keeps hinting to me hints and one liners that feeders would keel over for and also is wanting a mistress or other woman for the both of us so Im lowkey hoping that she ends up loving this cause I would explode if I saw another cute girl feeding her (skinny or bbw or ssbbw we like alot of different body types). Lastly she had to take her bra off in the car on the way home cause her stomach was so bloated and her boobs have grew quite a bit recently, she had to pull her yoga pants down to let her fupa and belly plop into her lap I almost came in my pants just watching. Meanwhile I feel like a blimp, just like her I cant stop burping and farting and waddling. What really suprises me is that even though were super stuffed our belly buttons havenât popped out, her and my navel are so deep you can tell were become lard filled blubber balls
I know this is alot but Im just so excited about how this Halloween went and how our journey is going đ

Day 5: Santa TeresaÂ
The rest of the day was pretty relaxing. I made some leftover empanada hash for lunch and we did a 500 piece sloth puzzle on the patio table between lounging in the pool. I was productive too, buying ferry tickets for our return trip, rinsing out my seashells, driving to the store to get dinner ingredients, prepping fresh salsa, and showering. While Stephen and I were at the store the others got to watch a troop of howler monkeys in the trees around the patio. I was disappointed I missed them but spoiler alert they came back the next day.
The five of us went down to the beach for a sunset walk. We again walked south towards the rocks and tide pools. As the sun went down, the beach came alive with hermit crabs just like it had the night before, leaving me puzzled as to where they hide during the day. Stephen and Devin played catch with a mango until a dog took it, leaving us laughing, Josh droned, Stephen and Shelby got accidentally engaged with a mollusk, and I beachcombed, presenting little treasures to Shelby and Devin.
After it got too dark we walked back to the house and made dinner. Stephen grilled some fresh pineapple, peppers, and excellent pre-marinated chicken thighs we had gotten at the store, we roasted purple sweet potatoes and pulled out the salsa I had made earlier, combining everything into taco bowls with the roasted fruit  and veggies,  salsa, beans, potatoes, and chicken. We bought some Lizano sauce too to put onâŚwell everything, since it had quickly become a new favorite.
After dinner I took a nap on the patio, Shelby and Devin went out for a drink date, I woke back up and cleaned up the kitchen, then Stephen and I went on a night walk on the beach. I was hoping weâd find some bioluminescence but no luck. I did get the bajeebus scared out of me by a stray dog in the alleyway to the beach though so thereâs that. By the time we headed back up to the house, the hostel at the end of the walkway to the beach was thumping with EuroClub electronic dance music and writhing with people partying in the backyard. Favoring a quieter evening, Shelby and I went to bed and the boys finished watching Lord of the rings at the house.

Diji si (con @InTheHandsOfFate, @TemptsYourTaste, and @HowsMyHairLook)
Memphis (@InTheHandsOfFate):
|Looking up at the attendant, I was quick to hand over our cash to pay for entry. We both had been looking forward to this day for weeks and with the warmer weather, I had made the decision that today was the day for an outing. It wasn't long ago that @AFuerteRosa had announced we were expecting and that she was carrying our child. The fact that we were going to be having a little girl wasn't lost on me either and with each passing day, the excitement simply grew. Leaps and bounds, as they say. The days of nesting were still in full swing but some fresh air and those animals @AFuerteRosa loved so much, were a small order, I didn't mind filling. Placing my hand at the small of her back, I escorted her inside and chuckled, seeing that glow across her features even in the sunbeams of the afternoon, kissing her skin the way it did, I couldn't help but feel like the luckiest man alive.| So which is first, the red pandas or elephants? What does my Cara Mia want to see, hm?
Lita:
â˘I was practically vibrating with excitement as @InTheHandsOfFate paid our way into the zoo. It had been forever since I had been here. And the fact that he suggested it, knowing my passion for all things animal, made me smile every time I thought of it. As soon as we stepped through the entrance, I paused to close my eyes and relish the warmth of the sun on my face before opening my eyes and turning to look at you⢠Red pandas! â˘nods matter of factly before reaching for your hand and pulling you immediately in the direction the sign was pointingâ˘
Memphis:
|Chuckles once more when you start pulling me down the ramp, loving the excitement that seemed to radiate from you and I let you lead the way. Passing by each sign for the exhibits until we saw the next tour guide, listening as she starts to go through the specifics of how important it was to not feed them and I wrap my arms around you from behind when you step up to get a closer look.| They really are your favorite aren't they?
Lita:
â˘my pace picking up as soon as their exhibit comes into view, and finding myself a spot right up against the fence as I go up on my toes, eyes scanning the trees until one of those fluffy tails catches my attention causing me to let out a little squeal⢠Mira! â˘points to the tree just in time for a cute furry face to pop out too, laughing excitedly⢠See him? â˘leans back into you as I look up at you over my shoulder⢠They are. â˘brings my eyes back to him⢠My absolute favorite.
Memphis:
I see him. |Laughing, I run my hand over your bump, feeling a small flutter against my hand and I can't help but grin at that. Knowing how excited you were, I let you continue to get lost in the sight of the red pandas a little longer before pressing a kiss to your shoulder, urging us on to the next one.| If you get this excited about coming up here, we will make it a regular thing, Cara Mia. |Hearing that squeal again, I see elephants come into view and stop to see the baby ones with you.|
Lita:
â˘takes one last look over my shoulder at the pandas before moving on with you⢠We should! â˘brings my hand to my bump⢠I want her to see them too. We need to bring her here as... â˘stops mid sentence to let out another squeal of delight when my eyes land on a baby elephant⢠Que lindo, amor! â˘laughs at the way it swings its trunk to entertain itself before turning to whisper in your ear⢠I want one of those too.
Memphis:
Every chance we get. |Finishing that sentence, I grin wider and watch the baby elephants with you. Laughing hard when the list of animals you want on the property continues to get longer and I give your hand a small squeeze when you whisper.| I think it's safe to say you want if we could by the zoo, we would. I will do my best though to give you every desire of your heart. That's my plan anyway. |winks when I see that blush creep up and I gesture to the sign, seeing the giraffes were coming up next.|
Lita:
â˘laughs at the way you pulled out that smooth way of telling me no again⢠You are so good, mi amor. Iâm not even pouty that you wonât let me own the zoo when you say things like that. â˘laughs again as I come to a stop in front of the giraffe pen, humming in admiration at their height before flicking my eyes over to the cart selling food for them⢠Letâs do it! â˘points to the cart⢠Por favor?
Memphis:
|Pulls the cash out of my pocket and hands it to you, watching you go with a grin.| Si, you can feed them. |Seeing you smile so bright, how could I say no to that face? Walking up beside you, I held out my hand for a few, chuckling when you shake your head at me and laugh.| Oh, out of the pail? |Laughing with you, I took great enjoyment watching you feed them. Opting to keep my hands on your hips instead while you did when I changed my mind.| How about we grab some lunch ourselves, Cara Mia? Are you hungry? I think I heard they have a special food court today. I could go for some. |Looking up to see the Giraffes moving down the fence line, I gather up the pail from you and hand it back, taking up your hand next to lead you.| I promised you dessert too. That pretzel still calling your name? |chuckles, passing by the kola bears with you, pausing long enough for you to take them all in, before we made the last bit of track to the food court. Leaving the lions for last.|
Lita:
â˘that big purple tongue coming out of the giraffeâs mouth has me laughing as I cringe away briefly until I finally get used to it⢠Que hermoso. â˘tentatively reaches out to touch its nose, but jerking it away again when it pulls its head back⢠Lo siento, amor. â˘sighs happily as we walk around, the mention of food causing my stomach to growl⢠Special? What kind of special?
Memphis:
Just different ones. Several trucks in fact. |Giving your hand another gentle squeeze, I take the path that leads us out to the food court, by passing several of the different vendors the zoo had there today, only to grin wide when I see @TemptsYourTaste and his truck, front and center.| Smells amazing, my friend. |Calls out ahead to @TemptsYourTaste, seeing that bounce in your step when I do.| Get whatever you're craving and double it, Cara Mia. |Presses a soft kiss to your cheek before watching you go up ahead in the line.|
Lita:
â˘the second I smelled @TemptsYourTaste truck, I knew exactly what both me and the jalapeĂąo wanted. If I werenât so focused on the smell of tacos, I would have laughed at my laser focus as I kept my eye on the truck when you placed that kiss to my cheek before stepping into lineâ˘
Beau (@TemptsYourTaste):
°eyes the absolutely ravishing and expectant mama as she hits up my truck - a wise decision° Well, well, what do we have here besides a refreshing drink of sangria and that to-die-for pinup 'do? Tell me, what are you and the little one craving?
Memphis:
The only thing I can tell you for sure is we would like two lemonades. |Chuckles while we both look over the menu on the side of the truck, knowing my mouth was already watering and I nudge @AFuerteRosa arm gently, whispering against her ear| Go on, don't be shy. Anything you want, Cara Mia. The sky is the limit. |Giving you a wink, I watched as you stood there, thinking it over as you rubbed over our little nina. Moving to check out what desserts @TemptsYourTaste might have.|
Lita:
â˘goes up on my toes and eyes the grill with the corn and without even looking at the menu blurts out⢠Elote. â˘laughs at myself, bringing my eyes to @TemptYourTasteâs face, flushing slightly at both my outburst and the compliments⢠Gracias, hermoso. â˘smiles brightly⢠Pero...I definitely want elote. â˘nods⢠And the chicken pineapple tacos. Y...guacamole? â˘leans to look at your salsa selection⢠Oh, and salsa verde. â˘glances down at my hand on my belly as if to apologize for my demanding appetite, tacking on another⢠Por favor?
Beau:
°flashes a dazzling smile, the Aph in me breaking through like the diva she is° Your taste is fabulous, you will not be disappointed. °eyes your man° Ladies first and then I'll get you, guapo. °winks and gets to it, pouring you both some fresh squeezed and setting it outbefore dressing the roasted corn in an Elote fit for the queen of England, because who cares if it's her thing. Seeing to the rest of the order, serving it up and dishing it out.° A moment on the lips but it won't hit those hips. Promise. °slides the items your way° It's a good thing you've got some man candy to help you out. We haven't even got to your happy ending yet! °holds a hand to the side of my mouth, whispering° That's dessert.
Memphis:
|And there it was. I had been lost in my own thoughts, watching @AFuerteRosa tell her order to @TemptsYourTaste and chuckled when I saw her give him that apologetic look. It was right then, right there, in that moment that I knew it couldn't be anymore perfect. Here was this woman, the future mother of my children and as she laughed, that quiet laugh of hers, I pulled the small box that had arrived in the mail from @MindYourPanties from my pocket and brushed my thumb over it. The last time I had looked inside was when it had been presented to me, my heart swelling in my chest at the thought of you wearing it and I found myself going down on one knee. In front of everyone at the zoo and @TemptsYourTaste too. I only saw her though. And so with that thought in mind, I called out to @AFuerteRosa and waited for her to turn around before I spilled my guts.| @AFuerteRosa I know what you're going to say but it's important that you hear me when I say this to you because Cara Mia, I am only doing this once... Marry me and be happy with our little jalapenos in tow? When I found you, I was running towards my fate, knowing somehow it was going to be okay. You captivated me first thing, Carlita baby. That would have happened regardless of the bond. That pull would have been there I feel like. |blows out a breath and grins, peering up at from that bended knee| @AFuerteRosa I can't promise that we won't ever fight. I can't promise we won't ever argue. I can't even promise that I won't someday worry you or you worry me. What I can promise is that I will always hear you out. I will always listen and no matter what this life throws @AFuerteRosa at us, we will tackle it together as one. Carlita Rosa, I will always follow you into the dark. I will never leave you behind. I will protect you, our little ones, until there is no breath left in this body. And in the event, I go before you, my soul will still wait for yours. @AFuerteRosa |smirks, just watching your face and I open the the little wooden box.| You are worthy, Carlita. Worthy of all the love in this world to go with your kind heart. You will forever hold mine. So, will you? Be mine forever?
Lita:
â˘fresh squeezed lemonade was my favorite. So the second it was set down in front of me I had the straw to my mouth and was happily sipping when I heard you calling out my name. Furrowing my brow, and instinctively looking around for an animal I was missing, and finally bringing them to where you had been standing, my brain taking a second to catch up to the fact that you were down on your knee rather than standing. And when my brain did catch up my hands shot to my mouth, nearly knocking the lemonade off the counter when I do so. Somehow having the presence of mind to shoot a thankful look over my shoulder to @TemptsYourTaste when he catches it for me, my voice quivering when I turn back to you⢠Oh, amor... â˘The tears freely flowing now as I let out a happy laugh, going down oh my knees in front of you as I nod like a bobble head⢠Si. Yes! Si! â˘laughs again as I eye the beautiful ring in the box youâre holdingâ˘
Beau:
°gets my happy ass in gear and busts out the back of the truck heading over to @AFuerteRosa and @InTheHandsOFate presenting a dessert for the occasion° It appears we just skipped straight to the Happy Ending. On the house and just for you two.
Levi (@HowsMyHairLook):
â˘Returns from having gotten lost trying to find, GASP, a public restroom that was NOT worthy of any kind of review, whisper yells @TemptsYourTaste ⢠WHAT IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW?!
Beau:
°rejoins you° Craziness. Skipped the tacos, straight to the happy ending. I think they'll be back for the rest of the food. °pours a sangria that his heavy handed, handing it off to you° Drink?
Levi:
Yes. â˘uses my phone to capture a few photos of @AFuerteRosa just as she says yes to @InTheHandsOFate before taking the drink, holds it up in the air and yells louder this time⢠Congratulations, Lovebirds!
Memphis:
Si? You sure? |Laughing, I knew you were but still had to tease a little bit. Taking the ring out of the box, I presented it to you and slipped it on your ring finger. Admiring how perfect it was and you, of course, when @TemptsYourTaste walks up with our dessert, thanking him kindly.| Thank you, our friend. |Instantly taking the cupcake you gifted, I handed it to @AFuerteRosa with a huge grin before wiping away her tears.| Happy ending, indeed, Cara Mia. You make so happy and I love you.
Lita:
â˘just admires the ring on my finger, turning it this way and that while I watch it sparkle in the sunlight before looking up at you with the biggest smile ever⢠Te amo, mi cielo. Mucho, mucho. Por vida! â˘turns my attention to @TemptsYourTaste now with @HowsMyHairLook standing next to him and lets out an embarrassingly giddy laugh as I nod along my thanks to you both⢠Gracias!
Levi:
â˘grins around the rim of my glass, drinking deeply⢠Make sure to give me your handles, Iâll tag you on my Insta. And then when the wedding planning is happening, I can let you know all the best places that have the Levi approval.
Memphis:
This sounds like a plan forming. We will definitely be in touch. |Taking @AFuerteRosa's hand, I kiss over the ring and give her a wink, seeing her on cloud nine as it were and we take the cupcake to go. Making sure to get the rest of her order before it was time to leave for for the evening. The day had been a success in my book and I couldn't wait for us to get home to celebrate properly. Soon, @AFuerteRosa was going to be Mrs. Carlita Stone and I couldn't be happier about that.|
