There is a special connection between the manna that fell in the desert during the 40 years of wandering and Shabbos. There is a mystical quality within our means that can affect how we taste our food – that quality is love. The manna was an extraordinary gift from the Holy One, blessed be He as it is recorded that He said, “Even before I gave you the mitzvos (10 Commandments) I provided their…

Abortion is Murder & Unbiblical
The Bible does not use the word abortion. How could it? The term itself as a procedure wasn't invented yet! However, the Bible does cover:
Humanity's inherent value and rights as (uniquely among creation) made in the image of God
Murder
Child/infant murder as something abhorrent to God
Life's beginnings, indirectly (although that also has biological support)
Legal ramifications of killing a child in the womb
How God sees and interacts with children in the womb
How we as His followers are meant to treat children
What He expects us to do for the defenseless and vulnerable (i.e., the most defenseless and vulnerable human imaginable is the one in the womb)
And how the question of following Him and His Word is what makes or breaks the difference between a Christian and someone who claims the name but is tragically unsaved Below are some verses and some additional explication (partial credit: @glowsticks-and-jesus)
Proverbs 31:8
Luke 1:44
2nd Kings 17:17
Jeremiah 19:5
Genesis 9:6
Exodus 21:22-25
Matthew 7:20 - 23
John 15:14
1st John 1:5-10, 2:3-6
Exodus 20:13
Mark 10:13-15 Leviticus 20:3-5 (https://biblehub.com/hebrew/mizzaro_2233.htm)
Matthew 18:10, 14
Psalm 22:10
Jacob & Esau, John the Baptist, Samson, etc.
Judges 16:17 Glowsticks-and-Jesus Collection:
"Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.'"Jeremiah 1:4-5
"The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name."Isaiah 49:1
John the Baptist leaped in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary greeted her cousin (Luke 1:39-45), an example that babies in utero are responsive human beings already aware of the outside world.
The righteous Hebrew midwives at the time of Moses pleased God by saving babies deemed unworthy of life by the authorities of their day (Ex. 1:15-21).
As an additional note -- these references are included above, but worth a second mention -- it's plain that child sacrifice - child murder - is something that God abhors and explicitly does not command. I'd look here (https://biblehub.com/jeremiah/19-5.htm) and here (https://biblehub.com/2_kings/17-17.htm) and check out the cross-references as well. Likewise, there is direct support for laws against murder and the protection of the unborn (up to capital punishment) in the Bible (Genesis 9:6; Exodus 21:22-25 -- an additional reference here included about the common misunderstanding of the latter verses: https://www.str.org/w/what-exodus-21-22-says-about-abortion).
In summary -- it's possible (although, I believe, it does deprive its proponents of a foundational basis for the value of life) to be both secular and anti-abortion. But it is not possible for a Christian who truly understands their faith, their God, and His Word to be pro-abortion.

hi lovely!! how are you?? so I have a question
1- how should a woman act/behave according to the Bible? is there any part that talks about this? I only see people talking about proverbs 31
2- we know how women should behave in a marriage but what about men?
3- do you have any tips to be more conected with god and with yourself??
thanks for answering this!! I hope you have a god day 💜
hi love!! i’m doing well <3
i tend to focus on these main attributes of femininity and i find they come naturally to me so i try to embrace them instead of trying to force myself into what i feel like i need to be as a woman nowadays, which is brash, outspoken, “strong” in a certain way, etc.
modesty- I dress modestly.
"I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety…” (1 Timothy 2:9-10)
kindness- I focus on being kind.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud." (1 Corinthians 13:4)
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)
chastity- I try my best to avoid all sexual immorality and lust.
purity is a beautiful trait of femininity. to all girls reading this: you don’t need to lose your virginity. you’re not behind and you don’t need to do anything like that to be cool or experienced. your innocence should be protected, it doesn’t need to be taken away. those tv shows, singers, and movies are lying to you. promiscuity is not cool.
"It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God." (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5)
"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)
2. what i've found is that there are creepy disingenuous men in the traditional space on Tumblr. that does not negate how beautiful Christ-centered traditional masculinity & relationships really are <3
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." (Ephesians 5:25)
"Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them." (Colossians 3:19)
"Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers." (1 Peter 3:7)
3. here's some things that have helped me feel connected to God:
there’s this really helpful meditation that has helped me a lot in connecting with Jesus:
youtube
and these old fashioned Christmas songs with beautiful lyrics about Jesus' birth and really calming melodies. it helps me feel closer to Christ than ever.
making art about Jesus, singing about Him, making collages.
praying to Him and asking Him for help in being closer to Him.
keep asking questions and talking to other people about Christ, because I find that connection and honesty has helped my faith and connection with God so much.
i don’t always feel close to God. but just because i don’t feel close to Him doesn’t mean He’s not there. <3

Christian Dating Advice, Finding Self-Worth in God, and Presenting Yourself Well
1. Seek God First
Prioritize your relationship with God above all else. Spend time in prayer, worship, and reading the Bible. When your heart is aligned with Him, your confidence and joy will naturally shine.
2. Know Your Identity in Christ
Your worth isn’t based on appearance or status but on who you are in Christ. Meditate on scriptures like Psalm 139:14 and Ephesians 2:10, knowing you are deeply loved and created with purpose.
3. Date with Purpose
Be clear about your intentions to date for marriage, not for casual relationships. Communicate your values, such as celibacy and a Christ-centered partnership. The right man will honor and respect your boundaries.
4. Focus on Character Over Chemistry
Look for a man who demonstrates faith, integrity, and kindness rather than solely focusing on physical attraction. A God-honoring man will appreciate your inner beauty and values.
5. Dress Modestly but Beautifully
Your clothing should reflect your respect for yourself and God. Choose outfits that are modest but also reflect your personality and femininity. This doesn’t mean hiding yourself—it means presenting yourself in a way that’s classy, confident, and respectful.
6. Carry Yourself with Grace and Confidence
Your actions should reflect the love of Christ. Smile often, be kind to others, and speak with grace and gentleness (Proverbs 31:26). Confidence rooted in God’s love is one of the most attractive qualities you can have.
7. Guard Your Heart and Set Boundaries
Proverbs 4:23 reminds us to protect our hearts. Take time to let relationships grow slowly and prayerfully, ensuring they align with God’s will. Set clear emotional and physical boundaries to honor your commitment to purity.
8. Pray Over Your Relationship
Involve God in your dating journey by praying for guidance and wisdom. If you’re in a relationship, pray together to keep Christ at the center and build a strong foundation for the future.
9. Silence the Lies of Insecurity
Combat negative thoughts about yourself with scripture. When doubts creep in, lean on truths like Jeremiah 29:11 and 1 Peter 2:9 to remind you of your worth and God’s plan for your life.
10. Serve and Love Others
A selfless and loving spirit reflects God’s heart. Serve others with humility, as this not only honors God but prepares you for the selflessness required in a Christ-centered marriage.
11. Surround Yourself with Godly Community
Seek friends, mentors, and a church community who will encourage your faith, affirm your worth, and hold you accountable to your values.
12. Trust God’s Timing
God’s plan is perfect, and He knows the desires of your heart. Trust that He will guide you to the right person at the right time. Waiting is not wasted when you are growing closer to Him.
13. Be Warm, Honest, and Authentic
When dating, let your true self shine. Be warm, kind, and honest about your faith and values. Authenticity is far more attractive than trying to meet worldly standards. 🌸
By focusing on your relationship with God, presenting yourself in a way that reflects your dignity and confidence, and holding firm to your values, you’ll position yourself for a relationship that honors both you and Christ. ✨
With love,
thatgentlewife

does the Bible say marriage is only one man and one woman? I’ve been seeing some controversy about that on my dash and some saying the scripture was never clear about that.
The Bible could not be more clear about this. Marriage is rooted in the created order. Genesis 2:24
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
Jesus affirms that design in Mark 10:6-7 citing God's created order of marriage between a man and woman committing to each other until death is not meant to be broken. God wants this relationship to be completely pure, no third parties involved, not even in the thought life which He considers adultery of the heart (Matt 5:28). Proverbs 5 warns to be faithful to the wife of your youth and not go straying into relationships with adulterous women.
This design of God is good because He is good. Humanity cannot exist without this design. Man and woman getting together is how human beings are born. It doesn't work any other way. Nature makes it obvious, but our sinful opposition to God makes us pursue unnatural desires
Romans 1:24-28
Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.
God hates unfaithfulness in marriage and the corruption of His design because He created marriage to reflect His own goodness.
Ephesians 5:31-32
"Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.
Paul, quoting God's created order in Genesis 2, says that the relationship between a husband and wife shows us what Christ has done for His Church. Christ nourishes and cherishes those who believe in Him and gave up His life for them, and the Church loves and honors Him.
When we say marriage doesn't really matter and can mean whatever we want it to mean we are saying God's love does not endure forever, that we do not need Him to provide for us and we do not need to honor Him. We can be our own gods and find love in our own ways. You cannot have love without God because God is love (1 John 4:16).
Love becomes entirely about me and what I want instead of sacrificing and serving for someone else. That self-centered world is how we create our own destruction.

Solomon’s Prayer for Wisdom
1 Solomon made a marriage alliance with Pharaoh king of Egypt; he took Pharaoh’s daughter, and brought her into the city of David, until he had finished building his own house and the house of the Lord and the wall around Jerusalem. 2 The people were sacrificing at the high places, however, because no house had yet been built for the name of the Lord.
3 Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of David his father; only, he sacrificed and burnt incense at the high places. 4 And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place; Solomon used to offer a thousand burnt offerings upon that altar. 5 At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask what I shall give you.” 6 And Solomon said, “Thou hast shown great and steadfast love to thy servant David my father, because he walked before thee in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward thee; and thou hast kept for him this great and steadfast love, and hast given him a son to sit on his throne this day. 7 And now, O Lord my God, thou hast made thy servant king in place of David my father, although I am but a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. 8 And thy servant is in the midst of thy people whom thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered or counted for multitude. 9 Give thy servant therefore an understanding mind to govern thy people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to govern this thy great people?”
10 It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. 11 And God said to him, “Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, 12 behold, I now do according to your word. Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you. 13 I give you also what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that no other king shall compare with you, all your days. 14 And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”
15 And Solomon awoke, and behold, it was a dream. Then he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and offered up burnt offerings and peace offerings, and made a feast for all his servants. — 1 Kings 3:1-15 | Revised Standard Version (RSV) Revised Standard Version of the Bible, copyright © 1946, 1952, and 1971 the Division of Christian Education of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the United States of America. A message of hope for all who are oppressed / a warning message to the oppressor from God
Zechariah 7:9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:7:10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Isaiah 58:4 Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.58:5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Ecclesiastes 7:7 Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.
Psalm 10:16 The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:10:18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
Psalm 9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Proverbs 14:31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.
Psalm 12:5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
Psalm 72:4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
Isaiah 10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;10:2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!10:3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?

THOUGHTS:
======================
Sometimes, things can happen in our lives, and we do not know why. Maybe to slow us down, maybe to give us a clearer view of what we are doing, and sometimes we don’t appreciate the halt of everything; we are too busy complaining about the things that are happening instead of appreciating what is not happening, I have had this happen to me, and I always ask the question why and the Lord is always there to tell me, sometimes what we use to do we can't do anymore, maybe we have to appreciate what he is doing and accept it as it is .
Joseph accepted what was happening to him and didn’t allow anyone to make him feel anyway. He didn’t even let his situation get to him. He realized what was happening was for his good. “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.”
See, he didn’t let what was happening stop him from doing what God wanted, and that’s what we must do in our lives. We can't allow what the enemy says to stand and bother us. We must say, "Father, I know what you're doing is something good, or I know what I'm going through; you planned it, but in everything, be it good or bad, rejoice and thank God."
Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
David told him you make known to me my life, a lot of us don’t know what's happening to our life because we don’t want to ask God about it; we keep going in our life the way we are and never ask him.
I remember one time I had something happen to my eye, and my mom said lui, ask God. I hesitated to ask, but I went ahead and asked, and he immediately gave me my answer. He told me why it happened and what caused it. I was shocked because I heard such a calming voice telling me. This wasn’t the first time I heard his voice. Still, he answered me about the most minor thing, which was my eye, and he gave me revelation and the comfort I need when we dwell in God's presence. It will always be joy and peace when we soak in his presence.
Romans 5:3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance
We must understand that rejoicing in our suffering creates this inner strength that the Lord has placed in us so we can endure the hard times. Many of us do not endure because we are too busy complaining; we can't complain about what is happening. We must go through it and rejoice in his presence; we rejoice by praising and drawing closer to him; the lord loves it when we rejoice in him rather than complain. He loves for us to push through and endure with him.
It might be hard to endure in God, but it can be the waiting, the listening, and everything , remember that you are waiting to ask God to help you understand . Don’t forget how his strength plays a vital part in this. Don’t forget how he places us in situations for a reason. Many of us go through this, and we immediately blame him; we don’t see why he allowed this to happen, but he allowed things to happen so we can grow and change.
Isaiah 40:31 But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint
No matter how hard this road of life gets, know that even if we run, we won’t be weary; even if we walk through, we won’t faint because God will renew our strength and give us more strength to push through. Some of us wait for other things to give us strength, but God can give us what we need through our tough times and the answers we need when we don’t know.
I can tell you that everyone told me what I should do when I had that happen to my eye or what I shouldn’t have done , and all I was doing was praying over my eye, but my mom said Lui asked him, and when I did. He told me it wasn’t difficult to hear him; it was nice and easy, and what he said made sense; a lot of people will make sure you don’t understand; they will tell you what’s happening to you is your fault and sure it might be, but God will show you every time how to resolve your issues.
Lamentations 3:25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”
Are you seeking God through your tough time? Are you still being obedient even though it’s tough? Or are you allowing what you see and others' opinions to change your opinion about Him? A lot of times, Satan doesn’t have to tempt us to make us pull away from God; all he has to do is fill us with so much anger and doubt, and we will do the rest because we allow our thoughts to win that’s why we must take every thought into captivity. Can you do that? Can you try to count on God more? We must submit our mind to God every day.
***Today, we talked about hearing the voice of God, and sometimes we don’t hear him the way we want. I want to hear his voice every day, and sometimes we don’t because it depends on us; it depends on whether we slow down everything around us to hear him. He speaks daily to us, directs us, and guides us, but some of us are so focused on other things that we don’t hear him.
Psalm 33:20-22 Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and shield. Our heart is glad in him because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you
Our soul waits to hear him; our souls know he’s the protector of our life sometimes; we forget that in our waiting, but the thing is, in our waiting, in our hearing, we must be thankful that he’s doing this for us, he could be a type of father that doesn’t care about us but instead we have a father that desires to communicate with us. Still, we must be ready when he does and trust that he wants to. If you feel that God doesn’t want to hear you or that you have tried and still don’t hear from him, continue to wait and do it patiently, knowing you will. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

Hi, it's controversial opinion anon... thank you for answering my ask and thank you to everyone in the comments as well for trying to make sense of everything! I took a step back after reading through the responses and went like "yeah why even talk about this, it's just confusing everyone and helping no one and I'm personally insecure about this too (which is why I'm on anon) and maybe Tumblr isn't the best place to discuss something like neurodivergence/mental illness x spiritual realm in-depth".
And then I saw the following art just casually appear on my dash - it's a religiously connotated dark figure with red eyes, originally from an artist who says it's based on an experience with schizophrenia. Just...like that. Normalized. Completely normal. I'm sure they're a random, wonderful human being who just enjoy making awesome stuff on Tumblr. Still I went like NOPE.

Like, you can't rule it out. You can't say it's not related, imo. People are tormented by spirits and are calling it clinically depressed, having hallucinations, having hormone imbalances or whatever.
@/marietheran wondered in the previous replies what kind of definition I have of the spirit vs. the mind. Well, to me, only two spirits exist: The Holy Spirit and worldly spirits. There is no inbetween. The human mind decides on a daily basis by which one of them it wants to rule/be ruled. And based on that, humans get blessed or cursed. It's very black-and-white, I know, but that's God vs. the devil for you. Under man's free will, this stuff mingles. Gets gray. Neutral. Obscured. Normal. Normalized. Luke-warm. Almost like a lie. Jesus defeated this stuff, yet we are plagued by such things. It's a fallen world. But I say we still accept wayyyyy too much of this shit to rule our lives instead of throwing it out by Jesus' name.
Now to tread carefully and respond to your own comments.
'what the hell xD you're telling me the fact that I'm autistic is demon possession?'
I don't know you. Or your life. I don't want to insult or scare you, and since - like I said - I have no trustworthy knowledge of the spiritual dimension myself, I just can't know what is or isn't and I won't assume. What I do know is that it's the result of a curse, since it inevitably brings you some blessings (making you who you are), but the downsides are just so so so not worth it. You deserve a better identity, a way of loving yourself that doesn't want to end you. You deserve abundant life, not the thief who comes to kill, steal, and destroy trying to take your life.
If you think the language (oh no! I said curse!) is too strong, see how in Maleachi 3:9 God says that the people are under a curse for not tithing. Zechariah 5:3 says that the people are cursed for stealing and swearing falsely, and it has real consequences like "being banished from the land". "And my curse will remain in that house and completely destroy it." (Verse 4). Curses are everywhere where sin is, even "small" or "socially acceptable" sins are destructive. God will destroy an entire house for "just" stealing...!! Stealing doesn't sound that bad, but the consequences ARE that bad!!
'>could be an ancestor's sin I swear there's a verse to combat that.'
Yep, there is, but look at its development.
Exodus 34:7 says "I lay the sins of the parents upon their children & grandchildren [...] til the third and fourth generations."
Then Jeremiah 31:29 says "the people will no longer quote this proverb: The parents have eaten sour grapes, but their children's mouths pucker at the taste."
Ezekiel 18 (whole chapter): "Why do you still quote this proverb? [...] You will not quote this proverb anymore in Israel. [Only] The person who sins is the one who will die."
Then you have the last supper, where Jesus passes around a cup of wine to his disciples in remembrance of his sacrifice -> drinking the cup/spilling his blood for us.
And finally, John 19:30 says "When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said "It is finished". And bowing his head, he yielded up his spirit."
ISN'T THIS AMAZING???? Jesus drank the bitter cup of generational curses for us!!!! He said "It is finished!" !!!!!! Then why are we still suffering?????????
Somehow - and I am treading carefully here, since I DO believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ - there seems to be the need to actively renounce such curses in the present even though everything has already been paid for. We are still supposed to take the last supper in the present as well, aren't we? It wasn't a one-time thing. Idk it seems to be a lifestyle thing. We are still called to behave according to God's will even though every and any trespass has been forgiven. We're still supposed to act like God's children and abide by his laws in our daily lives. So - somehow - and this is the bit that confuses me as well - curses, too, still need breaking today.
How? Maaaaaaan do I look like I know how? Jesus' name. Idk.
How does this not spin us back into a vicious Old-Testament cycle of "do bad or do good and reap the consequences" instead of resting in the amazing grace of Jesus' work on the cross? I don't know.
The thought of a daily battle can be burdening. That's at least what it does to me. How do I not constantly curse myself and my children with my bad behavior, which is, alas, still here?
How do I cure my family from curses that came into effect three or four generations ago, which I might not even know about?
The best approaches I currently have are these: A friend (from those charismatic evangelicals I've talked about) said that once you've been set free, you don't really desire to return to a sinful lifestyle. So the need to break bad stuff of someone again becomes a lot less.
Another thing could be that Idk, Jesus sets someone free from a smoking addiction in an instant, so that they don't desire it anymore, but that person still needs to break their daily habits (buying cigarettes, carrying a lighter, taking smoking breaks, associating with smokers) themselves. They need to go actively walk in their freedom.
There is something about this. There is something to this. To break the above mentioned curse from a house, you apparently need a stronger man to throw him out and to continuously be on guard (Luke 11:21-28). Let's learn how to throw the murdering thief out of our houses, out of our minds and bodies, which are God's temples.
I want to crack the principles that dictate the spiritual realm without fearmongering that we could return to a Old-Testament way of thinking. We haven't earned grace, we are set free by Jesus' mercy. But then somehow we have to fight to go take (and keep!) the benefits as well.
I don't get it myself, I want to be very open about that. But I wanted to plant it in your awareness. As a thought to maybe pursue. There is nothing I want more for you than to find relief from your situation as well. I'm done talking now. :)

The fact that I'm autistic has nothing to do with the fact that I want to kill myself. I think your generalisation of autism as a Curse is... problematic. It's a disorder, sure. It's disabling, to a greater or lesser extent. Many people can be happy with it, though.

Sin, honey. The reason we're still suffering is sin and living in a fallen world. The world is still fallen even though Christ came. "To live is Christ and to die is gain."
The best approaches I currently have are these: A friend (from those charismatic evangelicals I've talked about) said that once you've been set free, you don't really desire to return to a sinful lifestyle.
Mmmm I'm hesitant to agree with this because of the power of addictions.

Feel free to come back into my inbox and ramble more, but I really do think this conversation is best served by you - idk, making a sideblog - and having a conversation rather than sending essays into my inbox. To be clear, I don't mind that at all. I just think it would be more productive to discuss in a more conversation manner than slabs of text like this - also easier to find the rest of the conversation.
