I've been saying how ShikaTema marriage has a lot of intriguing things to explore, at least politically, if the writer cares.
Their child is one of them.
Spoiler alert if you haven't read Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
Let's take a look back to this excerpt from Gaara Hiden.
The novel ended with Gaara still not marrying anyone. In that case, he will not be having a legitimate heir in the foreseeable future.
And then we were surprised by the appearance of Shinki in the early chapters/episodes of Boruto. He was presented as the adopted child of Gaara. He called Gaara father.
By that point, even though it was never stated that his presence will legitimately secure the Kazekage lineage, we all can safely presumed that the problem with ShikaTema's child is already resolved.
And in the latest chapter of Boruto, Gaara himself confirmed that. "Sunagakure's future is in your hands." Shinki was actually intended to be his successor.
But then things took unexpected turn, that said heir decided to protect his father by sealing him, resulting of him getting turned into tree, and his Shinju appeared. They named him Ryu. And a Shinju must have one target. And we all know who his target is.
Since he said that he is able to break the seal his alternate self created, Gaara's life is going to be in absolute danger.
It's not been stated yet, but given the circumstance, Kankuro automatically becomes the one who takes charge from now on. He's by default, the interim Kazekage.
The next arc will be centered at the crisis involving Suna. Based on the pattern, the restoring of the Shinjus will not be possible in near future. And, back to that quote from Gaara hiden, if something also happens to Kankuro, there is only one person left to preserve the lineage.
It's the son of current Hokage.
Yes it should be almost, if not, illegal in ideal world. And it will give us an interesting show if explored.
And that mf Jura, the leader of Shinju has said something interesting about Shikadai few chapters before.
"Let's meet again someday."
There is no doubt that we will see more of Shikadai next chapters. And the conflict in Suna is perfect to put him into show. His fate will be decided in next few chapters.
I still pretty much don't think Kazekage Shikadai is possible. But it's not impossible either given the current circumstance.
What do you think will happen? I will be very much pleased to hear your thoughts.

Ok, but this is actually a very Brazilian thing to say? "he swears you are a wild boy of the Amazon who speaks only gibberish" I can almost hear it in Portuguese: "ele jura que tu é um garoto selvagem do Amazonas que não fala coisa com coisa"
As someone who by coincidence lives in the Amazon and is called Matheus (and is 30 years old, therefore old lol) I can safely say this is a legit thing to say around here
Not only that, but the region Jason Aaron mentions in the comic is real, so it is the indigenous people he mentions (the Cinta-Largas) and the problem of predatory diamond mining in their territories is especially real and urgent, I believe Aaron invested a decent amount of time to research and be accurate in this narrative, another reason to keep me interested in this story as a Brazilian

Herrschers are still called Herrscher here, since a Herrscher can bend the laws of reality and space I'll just say Reader will be on par with the True Dragons. Rimuru here is a True Dragon, the Honkai still exist here ig and some spoilers for Part 2 of the HI3. (If you already read the LN or WN, I have short memory so there is gonna some errors).
AU: Cross-over
Characters: Rimuru Tempest
OS/HCS/IMG: Head-Cannons
Genre: Fluff
Oh boy, he was surprised when you came back from defeating the Herrscher of Domination since he thought you would lose, you were just on par with a True Demon Lord while the Herrschers were in par with the True Dragons
He and his people will be surprised to see you back with a new profound power and new look too! They were very VERY worried when you said you were gonna fight HoD
Let's just say Rimuru was proud that you are slowly growing, and becoming mature throughout the years
Your blue flames are much more hotter than the Hell Flare that he and Benimaru uses
When the Octagram heard about your rise of becoming the Herrscher of Flamescion they were surprised as well! They never expected you to become a Herrscher that was on par with a single True Dragon?
Yeah they're surprised for a few until they start praising you mostly Milim and Ramiris boasting—
Herrscher of Finality
When they thought you being the Herrscher of Flamescion of Jura Tempest was enough but Rimuru never you would actually become a much more powerful Herrscher!
Again you have matured and learnt to understand everything in the world, you were just an naïve girl whose dream was to become the greatest and here we are
Rimuru is clinging and boasting how powerful you have become and mostly making you an representative of Jura Tempest Federation when he isn't present
Unfortunately—When you said you have to go to the moon to fully seal the Honkai made him sad cause he never expected this
Although he understood knowing the Honkai was a threat to the whole world, and that you are the last Herrscher to ascend
Rimuru would find ways to talk to you until he actually found out that he can just visit you on the moon in his free time
You proudly spoke about Senadina, saying that she is an intelligent and sweet girl who loves her friends dearly
Deja Vu eh?
Anyhow, he was happy that you also somewhat became a teacher like Himeko, it sure is a feeling of deja vu to you and Rimuru.
WAAAA I'm sorry for the late post, I got a high fever and had to deal with some problems but I managed to finish this in my free time! I'll finish the other two wips in my free time! and expect less updates and slow updates than usual since I'm on my 4th grading in high school and I would want to focus cause we are near graduating.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 10 analysis & Implications
Sarada vs Hidari & the Mangekyou of Sarada: As we know, the fight between the last survivors of the Uchiha lineage is approaching: Sarada & the Shinju of Sasuke. Sarada’ll face a Shinju that’s absorbed Sasuke’s chakra & powers, plus the power of the Ten Tails. It’ll undoubtedly be a fight that’ll offer one of the most impressive battle choreographies & 'll foster necessary character development as she faces a formidable enemy. The first time Sarada encounters Hidari, he automatically attacks with Chidori. Sarada dodges & counters with Chidori. This symbolic act kicks off the fight, as only two living people can execute Chidori: Sasuke & her. However, she’s confused; although it’s clear her opponent possesses Sasuke’s chakra & powers, Hidari isn’t Sasuke. (This topic’ll be addressed in another section of the post). Sarada holds one of the most important positions & stories in the manga, being the heroine of the story, heir to the Uchiha power, immune to omnipotence & possessor of the Mangekyō. Why have 10 chapters passed & nothing has been revealed about the Mangekyō? Even the rebirth of the Kyubi was revealed before the powers of the MS; the answer is simple: the abilities Kishimoto’ll grant Sarada in the Mangekyou’ll be convenient to the story’s context. When the power of that Mangekyō is discovered, it’ll be a pivotal axis that’ll mark a before & after in the narrative of Two Blue Vortex. The Mangekyou Sharingan is meant to be a decisive point in the plot. To contextualize, among the special abilities known so far in Mangekyou users, there are dangerous & high-level powers like Kotoamatsukami, Tsukuyomi & Kamui. Theoretically, Sarada should awaken with the Mangekyou two special abilities (they can be both new & those already mentioned, for example, Itachi & Sasuke had Amaterasu in common), in addition to the Susanoo (considering the divine weapons of Susanoo). The Sharingan is a dōjutsu of Ōtsutsuki lineage that comes from the Rinne-Sharingan; it was Indra Ōtsutsuki who awakened & bequeathed this ability to the Clan descended from him, the Uchiha Clan. It’s important to highlight that, with just the Sharingan three tomoe, definitive techniques like Izanagi, a technique based on Hagoromo’s Banbutsu Sōzō no Jutsu, & Izanami, both Kinjutsus characteristic of the Uchiha clan, could be used.
The last thing to discuss in this section (which’ll likely generate antagonistic opinions in the fandom) is the fact that, observing how events are unfolding in chapter 10, where Kawaki had (and was the only one who could) intervene in Himawari’s fight against Jura, the complexity of these enemies, representing not just an individual but a collective problem, being a monthly manga & mainly, the way Boruto is (and has always been) emotionally involved with Sarada, I wouldn’t be surprised if, sooner or later, he joins in Sarada vs. Hidari. He knows the danger these enemies pose & won’t hesitate to support the fight. Only two people have, on an emotional level, the authority to intervene & support this fight: Sakura & Boruto. This position of Boruto is something Kishimoto has made clear from the beginning of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, just as Sarada intervenes without regard for her own life when Boruto needs her. This feeling is mutual between them & is fully justified. Although some of the fandom may see it as a regression in Sarada’s character, it’s actually an enrichment of the characters & an added value by Kishimoto, a shōnen where, beyond the fights, bonds & expressions of human feelings are valid to show & are present. Additionally, it would allow us to see quite an interesting team battle choreography, as Boruto & Sarada have always formed a formidable combat team. The heir of the Hiraishin & the heiress of the Mangekyou united in battle.
2. The Shinjus: They’re still a mystery. In fact, they don’t even know exactly what they are. Hidari asked himself & the other Shinjus: “Exactly What… are we?” We know they’re the result of a “claw grime” absorbing a person’s chakra. They’re a divine tree evolved & self-aware, produced by Code’s Ten Tails, created from the chakra of the person they’re absorbing, but the implications of this are still unclear.
We also know that the people the Ten Tails has absorbed are still alive. However, how long’ll they remain alive after the “claw grime” absorbs them? Will there come a time when Sasuke & the others sealed’ll die if not released? If Sarada kills Hidari, or if someone kills one of the Shinjus, does the person get released or die? And when releasing the person, does the Shinju die? These are questions still without definitive answers. Only time & the plot’s development’ll provide us with more information about these mysterious beings.
We could see this as the birth of a new species, or rather, the Ten Tails’ species becoming conscious. Moreover, they have a goal linked to the person from whom they’re absorbing chakra, which, if they manage to fully absorb, they’ll find a higher degree of evolution. The powers of the Ten Tails, the human abilities of the “sealed” person, the Rinnegan, the ability to launch bijudamas with their eyes, & even their wisdom & thirst for knowledge, make these enemies something totally unknown & formidable. Keep in mind that, in addition, their main goal after their “target” is to devour an Ōtsutsuki, therefore, they have the capacity to face enemies with levels of power that humanity isn’t capable of facing.
It won’t be a short battle & everyone’ll probably have to support each other to achieve something against this threat. Kawaki, upon learning that Himawari was in danger, quickly headed to the battle. Boruto, due to the resonance between the Karmas, can’t be near Kawaki, so he’ll likely assist in the battle within Konoha.
The battles against these enemies’ll be fought in teams & will likely be more than one confrontation. Although symbolically each Shinju has its target, it’s clearly a global problem, so it’s normal for third parties to be involved, even mixing scenarios. Everyone is in a conflict on the scale of the Fourth Shinobi World War, where everyone had to ally to achieve something against the common enemy. But, to summarize, the protagonists of the battles go like this:
Kawaki & Himawari vs Jura
Sarada & Boruto vs Hidari
Konohamaru & Team 10 vs Mitsuri
Eida & Daemon vs Bug
3. Himawari & Kurama: It’s interesting to see how they’ve imprinted on her the concept they initially had with Boruto (Byakugan + Kyubi). With lineage from Hamura’s line (Hyuga clan) & Ashura’s line (Uzumaki clan), & now with the Kyubi, she’s placed among the most powerful characters with raw chakra of the new generation. It’s surprising that Kurama’s return has caused astonishment in readers, considering it’s predefined that the tailed beasts don’t die definitively but reincarnate. A precedent for this is Isobu. Moreover, there’ve been hints (especially in the anime) that Himawari would somehow be related to the tailed beasts. She’s always shown interest in them; she even coexists with Shukaku in an anime episode.
The relationship between Kurama & Himawari started on good terms. Kurama retains his memories, including his time with Naruto, with whom he formed a bond of friendship & familiarity after they understood & accepted each other as equals. This precedent opens the opportunity for a friendly & mutual collaboration between Himawari & the Kyubi. An interesting fact to consider is that Kurama retains his past memories. There’s a possibility that they haven’t been altered by omnipotence, & if that’s true, he could convey to Himawari that her brother is actually Boruto, & that all the experiences she believes she shared with Kawaki (before omnipotence) were lived with Boruto.
Some believe that Himawari’s suspicions are due to the hidden power in her (the Kyubi), but that’s not the case. Sadly, Himawari was affected by omnipotence, & the fact that she feels Naruto & Hinata are alive & that “Boruto” would never harm them is because, due to the effect of omnipotence, her experiences lived with KAWAKI make her believe they were actually with Boruto. In short, what’s really being conveyed to the reader is that Kawaki would be incapable of harming Naruto, & that’s why she feels Naruto & Hinata are alive. Remember that omnipotence exchanged in people’s subconscious the memories & concepts they had of Kawaki & Boruto, but it didn’t alter reality.
4. Regarding Inojin: Another event that caused a stir is that Inojin was impaled by Jura. There’re already people who’ve prematurely concluded that Inojin is dead, but the truth isn’t definitive.
If Inojin survives, this’d mean 2 things:
Himawari might use some special power of the Kyubi to heal Inojin.
Inojin could be saved by the ninja medical unit, or by interference of ninja technology, although it’s important to understand that ninja medical jutsu & ninja technology have their limits.
Otherwise, it’d bring many implications to the plot. It’d be an emotionally shocking blow for many characters, starting with Ino & Sai, the Ino-Shika-Cho team that was raised as siblings, & other close friends of Inojin. It’d be the first character from the descendants of Naruto’s generation to die in battle just as the conflict begins, showing how dark the situation in TBV could start to turn. For Himawari, already the fact of losing her parents hardened her character, seeing the death of a special friend for her, who also died trying to protect her, would awaken a deep desolation.
For others like Boruto, Sarada, Sumire, & Mitsuki, who’ve known & shared time with Inojin at the academy, & Sarada & Boruto who’ve known him since childhood, it’d be an important before & after. It’d show them that no one is safe in the situation they’re living & that they’re facing dangerous enemies who don’t value human life. For Boruto, it’d be a hard blow to know that he might’ve helped, but the activated karma didn’t allow him to do anything in that situation. For the older generation, the loss of Inojin would make them aware that they failed in their mission to bring an era of peace to their children & the new generation, & the harsh reality that a new war has begun.
5. Boruto & Kawaki: Kawaki identified Boruto’s weak point in the previous chapter. It’s impressive that all of Boruto’s shinobi feats in the first 9 chapters were due to his pure training, without relying on the power of Karma. This is a great source of power, but at the same time his greatest weakness. Something must’ve happened over those 3 years that led Boruto to radically avoid karma. That fear has to do with Momoshiki, who finds a way to materialize & take over Boruto’s body by channeling through karma.
As we know in advance, in the battle Boruto vs Kawaki on the faces of the Hokages, Boruto can already activate his Karma at will. That is, by that point, Boruto’d probably have full control of his powers. But, seeing that Kawaki noticed that Boruto’s weakness is the activated karma, a possible scenario is envisioned: The cause of the destruction of the Shinobi era & what subsequently leads to the last confrontation between brothers is that Kawaki exploits Boruto’s weakness, causing him to lose control & Momoshiki to cause destruction. For some reason, Boruto regains control of his body & enters battle to defeat Kawaki.
Considering Boruto could lose control of the Karma at any moment & is emotionally affected by it, you can be sure that Sarada’ll be the one to help him channel those emotions. She’s the person he calls home, the intact fragment of his past, & she’ll be the one to show him he has the strength & will to stop Momoshiki. Sarada has always been a light in his life & was the one who thwarted Momoshiki’s plans to take over Boruto. The fight against Momoshiki is a battle waged on the plane of emotions & wills. And rest assured, Sarada won’t let Boruto fall into darkness; she’s the love that’ll turn Boruto’s vortex into a spiral. As always, Kishimoto gave us a great reference to this in Minato’s one-shot: Sarada is to Boruto what Minato was to Kushina & what Hashirama was to Mito.
There’re many more points that could be discussed, but this is what I wanted to highlight from the chapter. Boruto TBV is just beginning, there’s a lot to go through before drawing definitive conclusions.
Before closing, I’d like to point out that to know what ideas & projections Kishimoto has for the characters & their interactions, it helps to know chapter 700 of Naruto, “Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring”, & the novels belonging to Boruto’s timeline, some of which are written by Kishimoto & others directly supervised by him. These fit very well with how the characters are behaving in TBV. After Kodachi delegated the writing back to Kishimoto, a change in perspectives is noticeable. TBV is a pure concept of Kishimoto, so for those who like to theorize, analyze, or simply have a more complete understanding of the work, I suggest reading those stories that are part of the canon.
And lastly, beyond criticizing or causing fights in the fandom, enjoy the canon! Kishimoto has great things prepared.

"At least 239 barriers, including dams and weirs, were removed across 17 countries in Europe in 2021, in a record-breaking year for dam removals across the continent.
Spain led the way, with 108 structures taken out of the country’s rivers. “Our efforts to expand dam removals across Europe are gathering speed,” said Pao Fernández Garrido, project manager for the World Fish Migration Foundation, who helped produce Dam Removal Europe’s annual report.
“An increasing number of governments, NGOs, companies and communities are understanding the importance of halting and reversing nature loss, and buying into the fact that dam removal is a river-restoration tool that boosts biodiversity and enhances climate resilience. We’re also seeing lessons being learned from previous dam removals, new countries kickstarting removals, and new funds, including crowdfunding.”
More than 1m barriers are estimated to exist on Europe’s rivers, with many built more than a century ago. At least 150,000 are old, obsolete barriers that serve no economic purpose.
Dams, weirs and other river obstacles block fish migration routes, often leading to the loss of breeding areas and reduced numbers of species such as salmon, sturgeon, trout and eel, which affects the wider biodiversity of ecosystems, including species ranging from eagles to otters. Free-flowing rivers also transport sediments and nutrients.
Pictured: Before-and-after shots of a dam removal on a river in Parc naturel régional du Haut-Jura, France, in 2021.
“Removing dams is a real need,” said Fernández Garrido. “We have hundreds of thousands of abandoned barriers, which is a safety problem. Dams affect water quality and underground water levels, cause channel and coastal erosion and beach disappearances, generate greenhouse gas emissions and lead to declines and even extinctions of migratory fish populations, with a 93% decline of migratory fish in Europe in the last 50 years. Dams have a negative impact on the environment, so if a dam or weir isn’t strictly necessary any more, we mustn’t pass the burden to future generations.”
Dam Removal Europe is a coalition of seven organisations, including the World Fish Migration Foundation, WWF, the Rivers Trust and Rewilding Europe, working to restore healthy, free-flowing rivers across the continent. The latest report found that 76% of the removals were of small dams and weirs, but 24% were higher than 2 metres. Three countries – Portugal, Montenegro, and Slovakia – recorded their first ever dam removals in 2021. In Finland, a functioning hydropower dam was also dismantled, the first of three on the Hiitolanjoki River, which, when completed, is expected to allow landlocked salmon to return to spawning grounds.
Pictured: The Cantabrian River Basin Authority in Spain removed 50 barriers in 2021. Photograph: CRBA
“This is the perfect example to show that when an operating hydropower dam isn’t needed, and energy can be supplied by other sources, it’s worth removing it and recovering the river,” said Fernández Garrido. “The river will be totally free of dams for the first time in over 120 years.” ...
Fernández Garrido continued, “We really want to see governments from all countries taking action and creating national grants and plans to completely free some of their rivers from obstacles, so there is, at least, a free and healthy river per country. We’re talking about creating a big shift.”"

Following up on that previous point re the difficulty of programming being a union of the difficulties of STEM and humanities:
"RAX" is a register in x86-64 intel
"EAX" is also a register in x86-64 intel
"AX" is also a register in x86-64 intel
"AH" and "AL" are also (two) registers in etc./
(That last one is technically not true)
This illustrates the point twice-over, first by the unreasonable back-compat of x86, and second by the unreasonable entrenchment of x86.
(Readmore added when I realized I was about to write "Let's go back to the 8086")
---
Let's go back to the 8086 :3
Alright so the 8086. It's popularity is seen in the two senses of its longevity.
The more obvious one is its twenty year life span - it launched in 1978 and you could still buy it in 1998, twenty years later, what?
But it's less-obvious-to-outsiders longevity is this: The language you wrote in to talk to the 8086, the x86 instruction set, is still in use today - everything I do at work is compiled into a dialect of x86 (Specifically x86-64).
The instruction set has been extended a lot since then so you can talk about the features of newer chips but to the best of my 20 minutes of research, a program compiled for the 1978 intel 8086 will still run on a 2023 intel 14900K[1]
So what is the 8086 like?
Well, it has some of those registers I mentioned - it doesn't have EAX and RAX, but it has AX, AH and AL - and BX, BH, BL, and a C... and D... variant of those.
"Oh wow 12 general purpose registers" well yesexceptactuallyno.
There's a reason they're grouped as 3 x 4 letters "A(X,L,H), B(X,L,H) ..." rather than just having 12 letters for 12 registers.
AX is actually just AH and AL next to each other. You can store 8 bits in AH, or 8 bit in AL, or 16 bit if you combine them, with the combination-name AX.
The proper way to describe it is to say that the 8086 has four 16-bit general-purpose registers, AX, BX, CX and DX, each of which has a High and a Low part of 8 bits each.
Alright, we're done talking about the 8086, because a newer chip comes out it's 32 bit! Let's add some 32 bit registers! Let's add EAX, the extended AX register.
Wait that's a terrible name, what? Call it like A32 or something.
Did I say "we're done talking about the 8086?" So that was a fucking lie.
Of course we're still taking about the 8086! All the world's software is written to run on an 8086! If your processor doesn't have an AX register there's no software for it and you won't get any sales - but if you have an AX register taking up space that could be used for a 32 bit register, your chip will be too inefficient and you also won't get any sales. Easy solution: It's the same register! Code that wants to use a 32 bit register asks for EAX, code that wants to use a 16-bit register asks for AX and it just gets the bottom half of the EAX register! Beautiful!
And that's why you have to name it "EAX" - if your user writes to AX, and then to A32, they might get surprised that AX was overwritten. But if they write to EAX, to the extended AX register, they'll know they're overwriting AX.
Wait.
Wait.
Surprised?
What's this "surprised," how is a software delevoper getting surprised, I thougth we were in STEM here? Pure, clear first-principles reasoning, correct logic application and so on?
No - we're in the part of software that is dominated by the difficulties of the Humanities - as a software developer sitting down to hand-roll some x86, you do not have the luxury of a true physical understanding. You have to know what the chip designer decided, not what the laws of physics are. Understanding this is less like Quantum Mechanics and more like Jura, where you need to know a bunch of texts that have nothing to do with justice qua justice and everything to do with how human systems have interpreted justice over the last many centuries. Or like politics! You can lobby for changes! Try doing that to solve your problem with the Fine Constant!
So that's the "unreasonable back compat"
The "unreasonable entrenchment" is that Intel tried to kill x86. It's bad! I mean let me be clear, x86 has one advantage and that is "historical presedence" By just about every other measure it is bad.
Intel knows this! They invented a new instruction set 20 years ago (a reminder here that x86 is 40+ years old) and (1) it was better and (2) it failed miserably because it wasn't x86 back compatible. Oops! So we've been struggling along with x86 back compat ever since.
The unreasonable back compat means that x86 is not the best instruction set for modern chips, as it must also model old chips.
The unreasonable entrenchment is that we can't get rid of x86.
They're trying again now (They annouced x86-S earlier this year) so maybe! But probably not.
[1] Caveat here - it will run on a modern cpu but if you have installed a modern operating system then the operating system will not run it - this fact is exclusively about the hardware realities of the x86.

Spoilers under the cut‼️
Lets talk about this book.
I just read it in two days which is really special because it has over 500 pages. I would rate it 5/5 ⭐️
I just finished it and need to talk about it. The story takes place in the 80s in the soviet Union and is about Jura and Wolodja who meet each other in a patriotic summer camp for children and teens. During the time in the camp they fall in love, but have to hide their love due to homosexuality not being accepted or even known.
The book later on also deals with russian/soviet history.
Even though the setting in the summer camp has a light and happy atmosphere there are also many sad parts. Such as huge homophobia and also selfharm (due to being gay).
But what makes the book truly special is the story behind it. It's written by two ukrainian/russian female authors who were forced to leave their home cuntry because they wrote this piece of literature. And even though the book was first on the russian bestseller list it is now banned due to containing "lgbtq propaganda".
And I think that's so damn special and important! As a few people may know I love books that critisise social problems and hate against members of the lgbtq community sadly is still a huge problem in the world. Not only in Russia, where being queer is considered a malady but also in western countries such as the US or Germany.
And unless not every queer person in the world can live their life without having to fear for their rights and life we should never stop fighting and writing queer books!
So overall: I really really love that so special book and I am telling every german or russian speaking person to read that damn book and talk about it! It is so important!
P. S: I also hope there will be an english translation too, because this book needs to reach more people!!

would love to hear about any of your OCs for the character asks thingy! Esp for 1., 3., 4., 8., 19. ^^
this got a little more rambly and at the same time more vague than I thought 😅
What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?
Most of my characters are side characters in a story centered around one main character, where it usually goes like Cool Main Character Concept -> Rough Story Outline -> Side Characters To Fill A Role In The Story. The primary ideas for the main characters are usually pretty simple, such as the dragon racer duo of Rider and Scraps where the original inspiration was really just an intense longing for flight during a boring lecture and some videos of Red Bull air races. A funny one is Nellie/Niall the hyperactive genderfluid Irish gremlin who I made up partly to help myself learn grammatical genders for my Irish classes. Many characters came to exist basically on the basis of "hey wouldn't it be fucked if"
3. What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?/4. And reverse, which one of the four things did you struggle with the most?
Depending on whether the character is a main or secondary character, the easiest thing is either the general concept/role in the story or their personality, which usually kinda just sorts itself out. Most of the time I struggle with names more. Like for example the aforementioned Rider only existed under this placeholder name (which became an in-universe online nickname) since 2021 and I only gave him a name (Ibrahim Yaşar) a few months ago. Two main characters from one of my fantasy settings are still called only just The Necromancer and The Soldier because I just can't come up with names for them. Sometimes a name immediately presents itself shortly after I come up with the primary concept, like Max from Skies over Jura, whose full name Maximilien Lanoe is combined from the names of Max Immelmann and Lanoe Hawker, two prominent figures from the history of aviation. Then there's Lucien from the same story who is a bit of an odd case - I've been meaning to use the name Lucien for literal years but it never stuck until this one, with the added bonus that it fit together with the naming theme of his two brothers Saturnus and Noël who are named after winter holidays (Saturnalia, Saint Lucia and Christmas respectively).
8. What is the origin of their personality? And let's be honest - how much of it is projecting?
Oh I struggle with projecting hard lmao. Some characters are literally just me no matter how hard I try not to. Some are just my mental issues turned up to eleven but hey, what are ocs if not free therapy lol. I don't think I can pick a specific character to talk about because there's so many and the personality of a lot of them depends on how they play off of other characters
19. What is your general favourite thing about the character? What is your least favourite?
Character flaws and all their problems <3 with the exception of Daegred, with him my favourite thing is the fact that despite being a Ra'zac, a literal human-eating unnatural nightmarish monster, he is possibly my only oc who is a true Lawful Good character. My problem with him is mostly trying to balance his natural inhuman-ness and learned humanity in his way of thinking

Hey, don't get me wrong, i *do* condone doing something about Jura, but if you're gonna be kicking her, i recommend to mmmaybe try going for something that's not murder? It's just that, last time someone outright killed a god it fucked up the seas and heaven literally flooded over and some cat chewed on the corpse and mutated beyond recognition and had to be contained by the Purveyors and... Yeah. Not good stuff.
But would it be my problem...

Croatian Women's Network staged protests all over the country on Monday in solidarity with women in Bosnia who - shocked by a particularly brutal recent murder – are demanding more effective protection against male violence.
In the action titled "Women's Safety is the Responsibility of the State," women's organizations in Croatia submitted requests to the Ministry of Justice on Monday, advocating for enhanced protection for women against violence.
"Violence against women is a systemic issue that requires appropriate sanctions. The state must finally take a proactive stance on this problem and enact legislation that aligns with the Istanbul Convention and is not gender-neutral," emphasized Sanja Juras, coordinator of the Women's Network of Croatia.
About 50 women gathered for a protest in front of the Ministry of Justice in Zagreb on Monday, holding a sign bearing the message: “Women’s Safety is the Responsibility of the State”.
The protest briefly blocked a section of the city’s Vukovarska Street. The stopped cars honked their horns, responding to the call from their posters to “honk that the minister hear”.
The protest aimed to commemorate Nizama Hecimovic, the victim of a brutal murder earlier this month in Gradacac, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Nermin Sulejmanovic shockingly livestreamed his wife’s murder over Instagram, after which he killed two more people and wounded another three. Nizama’s murder has again underscored the inadequacies of state systems designed to safeguard women from violence.
On behalf of nearly 40 women’s organizations and initiatives, they called on the Ministry of Justice to improve women’s safety across Croatia and establish a working group dedicated to formulating legal solutions to address femicide.
They also want femicide defined as a distinct crime within the penal code, with comprehensive legislation that covers all forms of violence against women.
They also demanded the adoption of a national strategy encompassing all forms of violence against women, in accordance with the so-called Istanbul Convention – the Council of Europe’s 2011 Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence – along with the allocation of funds for its implementation in the state budget.
Throughout the day, protests took place in 18 Croatian towns and cities, including Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Pakrac, Mali Lošinj, Beli Manastir, Vukovar, Virovitica, Krizevci, Korenica, Sibenik, Karlovac, Zadar, Trogir, Korcula, Dubrovnik and Glina.
Women from all over Croatia were encouraged to halt their activities on Monday at 4 pm for 15 minutes, symbolically supporting the motto: “If Women Stop, Everything Stops.”

Please may I have a Fairy tail age regression scenario of when Little! Juvia is in a rambunctious mood and can't help but feel a desire to push some limits..her Caregiver! Gray was extremely patient because the others were very close to losing their patience with her noisy behaviour (and toys) today. Some of the caregivers were extremely grateful when Caregiver! Gray told his little! Juvia in the nicest way possible to tone down a bit with her little toys..considering some of the littles were asleep in the backroom.
*Caregiver! Lucy is a caregiver to her little! Wendy*
*Caregiver! Laxus is a Caregiver to his little! Freed*
*Caregiver! Erza is a Caregiver to her Little! Levy and Erza is often a babysitter for Jellal and the other members of the littles*
*Caregivers! And basically babysitters Gajeel and Natsu often babysat Sting and Rogue..*
(There was also other littles who also had an assigned Caregiver too in the Fairy tail guild)
Little! Juvia is a diaper user and Gray only put her in them as a precaution and rightly so considering how often she had accidents and she never realised considering that she uses her diaper as if she was using the toilet..
Noisy Raindrop
It was the middle of the day at the Fairy Tail Guildhall, and the middle of a multi-Guild playdate being held inside. Everything was going just fine so far, up until it was decided that naptime was coming up.
“Alright, all the beds have been set up in the room. Time for all of you to settle down,” Laxus stated, lifting Freed to his feet.
Not a problem, normally, but not all Littles were expected to actually nap, which caused the ones who were to start pitching fits.
“How come they get to stay up while we have to nap?” Jellal demanded.
“Yeah!” Sting exclaimed. “I wanna stay up too!”
“It’s so unfair!” Freed huffed.
“Guys, how the others choose to care for their Littles is their choice,” Erza explained patiently, holding a sleepy Levy in her arms.
“And we’re caring for you guys the way we choose to,” Gajeel stated, holding an actually asleep Rogue in his arms. “You can keep playing later.”
“And some of you are pretty tired, oh yeah!” Richard commented as Cobra and Midnight leaned against him, half-asleep.
“And all of you know how important naptime is for you,” Jura lifted Lyon into his arms. The icy Little huffed quietly.
“And others have already had their naps today,” Mirajane said, looking up from where Lisanna and Kinana played with each other.
Gray sighed, “Besides, they won’t just be playing while you guys are asleep,” he explained. “Juvia here will be having a snack and sitting with us. Isn’t that right, Raindrop?”
Juvia giggled, reaching for his hand.
“We’ll be setting up games for all of you to play together once you guys wake up,” Natsu explained, “And you don’t want to be too cranky to play later, do you?”
“No..” Sting sighed.
Jellal crossed his arms with a pout.
Lucy gently bounced Wendy in her arms. “Let’s get you all settled down, okay? We’ll wake you guys up when the hour is over.”
“Fine,” the Littles synchronized.
“Alright! I think everything looks pretty good,” Lucy said.
“I think so, too,” Erza said.
“We help!” Milliana exclaimed. Erza ruffled her hair affectionately, “You sure did!”
“Can we play the games now?” Kinana asked. Mirajane pulled her close, “Not yet. We need to wait for the others to wake up first.”
“Although, I don’t think that’s stopping some of them,” Kagura said.
“Oh no..” Gray murmured, watching anxiously as Juvia played with toys that loudly played some form of audio. First it was a dragon toy that had a voice box inside that would make it roar whenever you squeezed its chest, then a magic fairy wand that played music, a star necklace that lit up and played a jingle, and the list just keeps growing.
Gray honestly wondered if the Little was purposefully testing his patience given the fact that she only played with these toys after the others were still napping. She also never showed much interest in such toys before.
Not that he would lose his patience with his precious Raindrop, but he could feel the gazes of the others on his back, knowing they are slowly losing their patience with him.
He cleared his throat, grabbing Juvia’s attention. “Raindrop, maybe you should put those toys away,” he said, gently taking her current toy. “Besides, you’re supposed to be sitting with the Caregivers. I’ll let you have one quiet toy, but you have to stay with me.”
“Mmm..” Juvia murmured quietly, “Papa..”
Gray almost instantly knew what that meant. “Oh dear,” he chuckled lightly, “Let’s get you cleaned up, shall we?”
“I’ll go check on the others to make sure her playing didn’t wake up the others,” Erza said, before ducking into the back room.
Gray took Juvia into the designated changing room, then cooed at her and tickled her stomach once she was laid down onto her mat.
“We need to have a talk, sweetheart. You knew you weren’t allowed to play with any of those toys while the others were napping, right?”
Juvia sheepishly nodded.
“I’m not mad,” he quickly clarified as he started on getting her cleaned up, “But you are aware that those toys would have woken the others, right?”
“Juvi.. didn’t..” she admitted. “Juvi sorry..”
“Don’t worry about it, Raindrop. But those music toys are getting put away after this, and you’re going to have an early bedtime tonight.”
“Aww..”
He quickly changed her, getting her into a clean diaper, before taking her back out into the main room.
“Crisis averted,” Erza assured. “A couple of them were waking up, but I was able to get them to settle back down.”
“And Juvia here won’t be allowed near those noisemakers for the rest of today,” Gray assured the others.
“Thank goodness for that,” Gajeel huffed quietly. “Rogue is a pain to settle back down once he’s been woken up.”
“What Little isn’t?” Erza giggled.
“Alright, you’re sitting with me from now on, Raindrop," Gray booped Juvia's nose.
Juvia giggled.

Mehlwurm: „Meine Güte, bist du heute wieder attraktiv!“
Mann: „Oh, vielen Dank.“
Mehlwurm: „Hab Selbstgespräche geführt. Wer bist DU denn?“
Also her mit der Miete, du schuldest mir Geld!“
Mann: „Ich bezahle doch keinen Mehlwurm.“
Mehlwurm: „Oho! Soll ich meine Anwältin anrufen?“
Mann: „Du solltet zunächst mal aufhören, dich in meinem Mehl rumzuwälzen.“
Mehlwurm: „Das ist MEIN Mehl! Ich habe es gefunden.“
Mann: „Ach echt? Wo denn?“
Mehlwurm: „In meiner Küche!
Mehlwurm: „Wieso kaufst du dann Mehl, bist du doof?“
Mehlwurm: „Oh Mann, du hast ja echt keinen Plan! Deine Frau sollte die Küchenarbeit übernehmen.“
Mann: „Das ist sexistisch. Frauen gehören nicht an den Herd!“
Mehlwurm: „Deine politische Korrektheit kannst du dir in den Popo stecken! Wo ist deine Frau?“
Mann: „Ich habe keine Frau…“
Mehlwurm: „Schwul?“
Mann: „Nein, ich… ich lebe hier einfach alleine.“
Mehlwurm: „DAS IST DEIN PROBLEM! Also such dir ne Frau, hopp hopp!“
Mehlwurm: „Weißt du schon, was ihr zusammen unternehmen wollt?“
Mann: „Puuh, keine Ahnung.“
Mehlwurm: „Kleiner Tipp: Meine Anwältin mag Mehl.“
Mann: „ALSO IST SIE DOCH EIN MEHLWURM?!?

~•~
Lavertus Xiao long is the middle child with his twin sister Eris.
They often compare him to being similar to the Ghira of this AU but he knows that this is not the case since he thinks that he does not have the same nobility as his grandfather.
By the time he was born, his family was in a critical condition so he had to be born by cesarean section. Blake spent very worrying nights since he was weaker and the human being could not be given regular medicine.
Even so, he grew up strong, he suffered from bullying during his first 7 years of life just for being one of the few humans who inhabited the island, but this changed since Yang threatened anyone who entered.
He stands out in his family for being the only human with his father Yang.
At 10, due to family problems and a physical attack that Yang suffers, he and his family move to Patch to live with Tai and Zwei in their house, which makes him feel much better since he is not the only one.
At 13 years old he was kidnapped by former members of the extremist White Fang. His mother came to the rescue but this would cost him a leg in the future due to a gunshot wound. An angry Lavertus swears revenge against the White Fang and dedicates himself to practicing with the katana since he considers that being a traditional Menagerie weapon he can get a little of that with him, managing to spend almost 6 years training for this, killing White Fang soldiers. extremist.
(Lavertus was scolded for not getting to sleep and Blake was worried about him)
But after finishing his revenge he no longer knows what else to do with his life, so he continues at the hunter academy and works part-time as a pizza maker in a place in the port of Patch.
One day while working he receives some orders and meets Astrid Cassie, a Patch delivery girl who makes a living with multiple jobs, which makes Lavertus admire her and somehow fall in love with her.
