"You shouldn't trust that human, Y/N. He could be a bad land person." Perla said.

OMG I was so excited to finally write this part. The boat scene is my favourite scene from the movie. Also I completely forgot that Eric doesn't know the readers name and I hadn't thought about how he should guess it so I just made him guess a bunch of random names and one of them being right (R/n means random name btw!!), so yeah I hope you all enjoy this part because its honestly my favourite part I've written!!

You awoke at dawn. The rays of the sun creeping in through the gaps of the curtains and landing onto your eyes. You squinted while turning over, pulling the sheets with you. You lay on your side for a moment, your eyes still closed. You lay there until you remembered what you were supposed to be doing today. As soon as the memory of last night came back to you, you shot up from the bed. You quickly grabbed at your clothes that you had left in a pile before you went to sleep. 

You threw them on yourself quickly, hoping you didn't sleep in. You ran to the door, swinging it open. You jumped back in fear when you saw someone standing there. It was Eric. He stood there with a startled look on his face. "I thought you were never going to wake up." He laughs. You smile at him, your hand still over your heart, trying to calm yourself down. "Are you ready?" He asks, playing with his hand. He looked like he was nervous. You nodded. Eric stood to the side putting his arm outwards. "You first." He gestures. You roll your eyes at him as you walk out of the room,hearing him chuckle behind you. 

Eric leads you to where the carriage was being prepared. "I cannot wait to show you around, you're going to love it." He says as he opens the door. You both stepped outside. Eric points towards an empty carriage. "This one will be the one we will be taking." You look at it, admiring the design. You run your hand over the horse's mane as you walk by it. There was a small stepping stool but at the side to help you get up. You sat down on the seat, feeling how soft it was. The cushion felt amazing, you felt like you could fall asleep again. 

You turn to your side, seeing a dog running out of the castle. You recognise the dog. It was the one Ariel had helped save on the day of the shipwreck. You lean over the side of the carriage as you rub the dog. "Looks like you made a new friend." Eric laughs, picking the dog up. "Come on max" He says as he hands the dog over to someone else. You move back to where you sat, allowing there to be space for Eric to sit beside you. He smiles at you as the carriage begins to move. You fall back into your seat as it begins to move, not used to this type of transport yet. 

You looked around the island as the carriage made its way to the village. The view was magnificent. You looked at Eric's hands but more specifically at what he was holding. Eric notices your interest in the reins. "You want to try?" He asks, holding the reins towards you. You look at him for a moment before reaching out to grab them. You raised the reins before bringing them down with force. This caused the horse to speed up. You gripped onto the reins. Suddenly you and Eric notice someone walking in front of you two. 

"Look out!" Eric calls out to the man. You twist the reins, hoping it would turn the vehicle. Your assumption was right as the horse turned with your movement. Eric turns around to shout out to the man. "Sorry about that!" He apologises. He turns back to you. "That was close." He laughs, you nod at him quickly before turning back to look in front of you again. "Woah!" Eric shouts. You two had entered the front of the village. This meant that now there were more people you had to try to avoid hitting. "Turn!" He calls out to you, grabbing your hands to help you control the carriage. As the carriage turned a corner you heard an animal. It was a group of goats that was crossing the road. You pull back on the reins, not wanting to hit them. This sudden movement caused Eric to fall back into his seat. 

"Well that was" Eric pauses. "fun?" His breathing was fast, still trying to process everything that happened. You stood up in your seat, looking out at the goats. You notice Eric climbing out of the carriage. "Here let me help you." He says to the man, helping herd the goats into their shelter. You decided to climb out too, no longer interested in the carriage. Instead you were interested in the village. Eric turned to notice you no longer in the carriage. He looks around to try and figure out where you ran off too. 

You found yourself in a crowded part of the village. You saw children run past you and people standing in front of stalls. You looked around in awe, unable to take it all in. As you walked past the stalls, people called out to you. They advertised whatever they were trying to sell. You jumped slightly as you saw a man bring a machete down on something. "Coconut?" He asks, holding the coconut out to you. You stare at it before walking away. "No? Ok then." You hear the man say, slightly annoyed.

You continued to walk around before being stopped by another person behind a stall. "Young boy, would you like some?" She asked, handing a bowl full of food to you. You take it, looking down to try to figure out what food it was. You begin to walk away with the bowl when she calls out to you. "Oh! I think you'll be needing this." She holds out a utensil. You recognised it instantly. Ariel had one of these. She said that scuttle had told her the land people called it a dinglehopper. She had demonstrated that they used it to brush their hair. You placed the bowl down as you took the dinglehopper from the woman's hand. You started to run it through your hair. You looked up at the woman, noticing a strange look on her face. The same look was on the face of a group of people who stood beside you. You were confused about the sudden judgmental looks on everyone so you slowly began to walk away from the stall.

You walk by another stall, this time stopping in front of it voluntarily. It was a stall that had many hats on display. "Would you like a hat?" The man asked you, only noticing you standing there. You grabbed at the hat he held in his hand.

"Oh, there you are." You turned to notice Eric standing beside you. You forgot you left Eric back at the carriage. You greet him with a smile before trying to place the hat on his head. The hat turned out to be too big for him as it fell over his eyes. He laughs as the man takes it off his head. 

"No no, too big." The man says. "Try this" He says as he reaches down to grab another. Instead of waiting, you grabbed at the hat he was wearing and placed it on Eric's head. You walked off again, leaving Eric behind again. Instead you wanted to explore the village even more. 

"Tropical flowers." You heard a lady say as she held a flower out to you. You weren't sure why everyone was offering things to you but you weren't mad about it. You grabbed the flower, smiling at the woman. You began to walk away as you took a bite out of the flower, assuming it was food. It definitely didn't taste as good as other foods. 

You pushed through pieces of cloth that hung in front of you. You ran your hand over the silky fabrics. You loved this feeling. You looked in front of you, noticing a group of people dancing. You decided to join them. You began to dance with the people. Eric notices you in the crowd so he decides to join as well. He taps your shoulder to get your attention. You turn to face him as he takes your arm. You two started dancing together. He spun you around before pulling you in towards him. You grabbed at his upper arm as he pulled you in. This gesture caused Eric to become flustered. It didn't seem to bother you though as you continued to dance with him. 

The rest of the day was just Eric showing you around the stalls. He had bought a lot of random things, some for you. He noticed you start to look tired so he decided to call it a night and to head back to the carriage.

"I love this time of night," Eric says, looking up at the sky. Sometimes you can see the eyes of creatures in the tree-" Before he could finish his sentence, he felt the hat get pulled off. "Hey!" He called out, noticing a bird flying away with it. You only got a quick glance at the bird but you could have sworn it looked just like Scuttle. "Hey come back with that!" Eric shouts as he starts to climb out of the carriage to chase the bird. 

You followed him. You both ran through trees and bushes trying your best to follow the bird. "I think it went this way," Eric says. He turns back to face you asking if you were alright. You nodded at him as you continued to push through the trees. "Hey! Give me my hat back!" Eric shouts as you two finally caught up with the bird. The bird flies around for a bit before dropping the hat in a canoe. Eric rushes to where the hat fell. He climbs onto the canoe and grabs at the hat. "I didn't want to lose this." He says smiling at you. He places the hat back on his head. He looks at you run your hand over the edge of the boat. This sparks an idea. 

Eric decided you two should have one little adventure before heading back to the castle. He pulled the boat from its resting place and placed it into the water. "Come on" He says to you, motioning for you to get it. You did as he asked, sitting opposite him as he began to row the boat. You looked around, taking in the new scenery. Eric found his eyes glued onto you. He loved watching you look around and being easily fascinated by everything you see. You brought your attention back to the boat and Eric. You look at the oars, deciding to place your hand on them and mimicking the motions Eric was doing. 

"Do you want to try?" Eric asks. You smile softly. You got up from your seat and sat down beside him. You accidently tripped on your way over to his seat and found yourself on his lap. Eric had instinctively grabbed your waist, not wanting you to fall out of the boat. You remove yourself from his lap and sat in the spare space beside him. Eric pulls his hand away from your side, blushing slightly. You grabbed onto the oars, Eric placing his hands above yours to help teach you how to row the boat. The boat began to move behind a waterfall. Eric smiled at you as you started to get a hang of rowing. The boat came out from under the waterfall, entering a large free space of water. 

"What a clear night." Eric says looking up at the stars. "You can see orion." He states. You look at him, confused about what he was talking about. Eric caught on to this confusion as he began to explain himself. "Oh, the sailors use the constellations to navigate the seas." He removes his hands from the oars, you did the same. He points up at the sky. "There's Orion" You look up at where he was pointing. He removes his hat as he goes to lay down. You decide to lay down beside him. He continues naming the constellations. "And there's Aries, the ram." He points to another set of stars "That's casseopaya"

Eric realises something. He laughs slightly. "That's funny, I still don't know your name." He looks at you as you continue to look at the night sky. "Let's see." He says, trying to think of a name to guess. "Is it.." He pauses before picking an answer. "R/n?" You turned your head slowly, a smug look on your face. You shake your head slightly. "No?" He whispers. "Could it be R/n?" You raise your eyebrows, a disgusted look on your face. "No, definitely not that." He laughs. "Um, how about Y/n" Your eyes light up. You were shocked he guessed it right. You turned your head while nodding. "Really?" He asks, slightly excited at the fact he got it right.. He wasn't sure if you were messing with him or not. You nodded again to assure him he was right. "Y/n" He repeats your name, this time in a quieter tone. "That's a beautiful name" He says, looking at you. You both turn to look back up at the sky. 

You turn your head slightly. You couldn't stop smiling like an idiot. The boat flows underneath a tree, its branches dropping down to be able to touch the surface of the water. Eric turns his head, noticing your eyes on him. He finds himself blushing again. He decided to take a chance. He slowly leans in, you did the same. He closed his eyes before hearing movement. He opened them to see you sitting up. You had sat up, unsure of what he was doing. Was he trying to kiss you? You cursed yourself internally for reacting too fast at the gesture. Eric sat up quickly, glancing at you, then away, and then back at you. He felt embarrassed for taking the chance. 

You moved back to your original seat, looking around as a bunch of fireflies came out from the tree. You looked around at the lights flying around you and Eric. Eric turns to look at you again. You looked back at him, smiling. Eric felt his stomach flip. He couldn't get over how cute your smile was. You both looked into the water after noticing a bunch of fish began to swim around the boat. The fish began to squirt water over the boat. You both watch in awe at the sight. Eric leans over the boat, trying to get a better look at the fish. This caused some of the water to splash onto his face. He laughed. You reached out, rubbing your hand on the side of his face to help get rid of the water.

He grabs at your hand as you pull it away from his face. Your eyes interlock for what felt like the hundredth time that night. He keeps his hold on your hand, noticing you not pulling away. Maybe he was right to take that chance. He decides to try again. He began to lean in. You did the same, this time deciding not to pull back. Before your lips could meet you felt the boat get pushed. This caused you and Eric to fall into the water. 

Eric laughs as he emerges. "What was that?" He grabs at his hat that also fell into the water. You two began to swim, land not being too far from where you two were. Eric was still laughing as he shook the hat to try dry it off before putting it back on. He leads you back to the carriage as you two begin your journey back to the castle. After a long ride you two finally made it back to the castle. 

You carefully climbed out of the carriage, trying not to slip. You and Eric made your way back into the hallway of the castle. "I think everyone's asleep." Eric whispers as you two slowly walk over to the stairs. Suddenly you two hear a voice. "Go go go, there" Eric says quietly pointing to the back of a wall. You rushed to the wall, almost slipping due to your feet still being wet. 

You heard a woman's voice. "Has he been avoiding me?" She asked. Suddenly you heard a man's voice. You recognise this voice. It was Grimsby. 

"No, your highness." He replied. You turn to notice Eric trying his best not to laugh. 

"no?" She questions 

"no!" Grimsby says, trying his best to cover for Eric. 

"Well you seem awfully certain" The woman says. 

"Well avoiding you doesn't seem like Eric, does it?" Grimsby said, trying to convince her. 

"Then where is he?" She complains. "Oh, he's not searching for that fantasy person I hope." She adds. 

Grimsby looks beside him as they pass where you and Eric were hiding in. He sees Eric's feet before answering. "No," He says sternly. "I can say that with certainty." 

You hear the woman almost slip. "Oh! it's wet?" She questions looking at the floor. You and Eric laugh quietly, knowing it was wet because of you two. 

"I'll look into it" Grimsby said, ushering her to go to bed. 

"Thank you Grimsby, goodnight." She says before walking away. 

Eric waits for her to leave before turning back to you. "Sorry about that, I wasn't supposed to leave the castle today." He laughs. "But I'm glad I did." You smile at him as he continues to talk. "all these rules." He pauses. "To be honest, I wasn't born into all of this. It all makes me feel a little-" You and Eric jump in fear when you hear Grimsby's voice cut Eric's sentence short. 

"Welcome back sir" Grimsby says, very loudly to assert his presence.

"Oh! Grimsby" Eric laughs. He stammers a bit as you two walk out from your hiding space. 

"I assume you two had a pleasant outing?" He asks. 

"Ah yes we did. Didn't we?" He asks you. You nod. "Yes, very nice." You find yourself smiling at how awkward Eric is right now. Grimsby turns to face you. 

"You've had a long day sir. I imagine we should let you get some sleep." He noticed how wet you and Eric were. "And perhaps dried off as well." He jokes. 

"Oh uh yes." Eric says, wanting to explain the situation. "We took a rowboat out onto the lagoon but I'm afraid we ended up in it." He jokes. "Anyways" He turns back to face you. His tone quiets down. "Goodnight." You began to go up the stairs, heading towards your room. You remember Eric had placed his hat on your head on your trip back to the castle earlier. You turn around, taking the hat off of your head. You go back down the steps and place the hat back onto Eric's head. Eric bowed his head to allow you to easily place it on. "Goodnight, Y/n" He repeats, this time using your name. You two exchange one final smile before you head back to your room.

For The First Time

Prince Eric x Black! Male Reader

✩ Warnings: This is my first fic so I'm not sure how good this is so please give me feedback please!!! This shit also hella cheesy but in a good way!

 “So what do you think of the island?” Eric ask's [Name]as they walk along the trail overlooking the sea. 

“I love it! But… is there anything else to see?” 

There’s a silence between them, not an awkward silence, more of an understanding type of silence. Eric understands [Name] has probably never seen the things he had just shown him let alone experience the feeling of the hot sun, the warmth of the sand, and the cool breeze that blows past them as they walk down the trail overlooking the sea [Name] had once called home. 

“There��s our local marketplace just up ahead,” Eric answers pointing in front of them.  

Without an answer or even a flinch [Name] grabs his hand and pulls him down the trail causing Eric to stumble and nearly topple over his own feet.

“Wait! Hold on!” Eric yells out before letting out a small laugh. 

Within a matter of minutes, Eric and [Name] are stepping into the market leading to both boys having numerous items shoved into their field of vision. One thing catching [Name’s] eye was off to the side and resting in a small basket on a table. [Name] almost immediately let go of Eric’s hand and swiftly made his way toward the object staring at it for a few seconds. It was small, red, with yellow specks, and green leaves on top of it. He plucked one out and brought it to his lips softly taking a bite.

“Mmmm!” [Name] hummed out in response to the burst of flavor he was experiencing. He quickly grabbed a few more and ate them completely embraced in the taste.  

“Hey!” The vendor yelled, snatching the basket away from the boy. “If you want to eat them you have to pay for them! You can’t just go around stealing from me!” 

[Name] stood there unsure of how to react. “I’m sorry?” 

“So you're gonna pay for what you’ve eaten then right?”

“I don't have anything to pay for.” He said his voice coming off more confused than stern.

“Ha! He’s got nothing to pay for, can you believe that!?”

“What’s going on? What seems to be the problem here?” Eric asks them to jog.

“Well, I caught this young man here eating all of my Strawberries! And when I asked him to pay for what he’s eaten he said he doesn’t have anything to pay with!”

“Strawberries?” [Name] says with genuine confusion.

“How many did he eat?”

“I’m not sure but a couple for sure!”

“Here how about we…” Eric unbuttons his coat pocket pulling out a couple of gold coins. “... buy the whole basket?” Eric hands the vendor a couple of coins, grabs the basket, and turns around to see [Name] disappear once again. “Huh?”

[Name] walks around the market ogling at every little thing he sees and once more something catches his eye. A navy blue long-sleeved button-up. He reaches for it the fabric soft to the touch. He jumps at the feeling of a hand slowly grabbing his waist causing him to twirl around as his moment of fear settles as he stares into Eric's eyes causing him an array of feelings. 

“You scared me!” [Name] cries out not before noticing the Fisherman net bag draped across Eric’s shoulder filled with Strawberries. “Oh, you got more!” he exclaims, reaching into the bag, pulling one out, and taking a bite.  

“That’ll look good on you. It complete’s your deep complexion.” 

“You think so?”

“Of course.” Eric turns toward the vendor and cocks his head towards the shirt. “Could we try it on?”

“Go on ahead.”

[Name] took the shirt off the rack and placed it over his clothes and buttoned it and looked at Eric. ¨So what do you think?¨

Eric shifts his weight onto his left foot and tilts his head from side to side. "Step a little closer,” Eric says, exaggerating the word ¨Little¨.  

[Name] steps closer looking at the ground entering his field of vision are Eric´s hands once more grabbing at his waist and slowly spinning him around. If [Name] had been a couple of shades lighter Eric would for sure have seen the blush that was brewing on his face. 

¨Yeah it looks good, not too tight or too loose. How much?¨

The vendor holds up three fingers and as Eric goes to hand him the coins [Name] gently taps on his shoulder Eric turns around to see [Name] holding up a straw hat. ¨I think this would look good on you!¨ [Name] says gently poking Eric's chest and placing the hat on his head. 

¨Five now.¨ The vendor says a hint of happiness in his tone.

And Eric does as he's told and hands the man five coins, turning around after doing so only to find the other boy missing and poofing into thin air like those cartoons we´ve all watched. 

[Name] wandered down the row of vendors immersed in the new sites and scents he was experiencing for the first time. Well, walking down the rows he would hear things such as.

¨Ẅould you like to try this?¨

¨Freshly grown!¨

¨ Handmade and crafted by me and the local islanders!¨

And of course, he would stop and stare at each thing before racing off to the next thing that caught his eye. And what currently caught his eye was a bouquet he plucked a rose from the bouquet a white rose (A white rose symbolizes youthfulness, innocence, and young love), and smelled it. The smell was new to him; he didn't know how to describe it but he was immersed in the scent. Not before long another site caught his eye. It was a combination of red, orange, and yellow and left a trail of smoke floating into the air.

He steps towards the site but is soon stopped by Eric softly grabbing his hand ¨Hey! There you are I should keep you on a leash to prevent you from wandering off! What do you have there?¨ 

¨A flower! I don't know what type but I remember seeing them in a book that I had found.¨ 

Eric takes the flower, breaks the steam, and places it behind his ear twisting a curl around the steam. 

¨Ẅhere were you off to?¨ 

[Name] takes Eric's hand in his and moves to his right-hand side and points into the sea of people. 

¨Isn´t that the most beautiful thing you´ve ever seen!¨ [Name] says in his tone nothing short of complete joy.

Eric squints his eyes and tilts his head from side to side searching for the quote on quote ¨Most beautiful thing he's ever seen¨.  ¨What am I looking for?¨

¨That! Don´t you see it? Whatś the word…. Fire!¨ [Name] answers continuously pointing his finger into the crowd. 

¨Oh? Have you never seen a fire before?¨ [Name] shakes his head. ¨Well how about this once we get back to the castle I´ll ask Grimsby to head to the shore later tonight and set up a small picnic for us with a bonfire. How's that sound?¨ Eric announced with a soft smile on his face. 

¨Amazing! But do you think we could look around some more?¨ 

¨Of course. Get anything you want!¨

And he collected items such as a hand fan,  Oranges, Cherries, and a blanket and even sooner the sun had set behind the vast ocean and the moon had risen.  Eric and [Name] headed down to the beach hand in hand the net bag Eric had bought now held a supply of Cherries, Strawberries, and oranges. 

The soft glow of the fire blanketed the sand and a wave of excitement washed over [Name] he gripped Eric´s hand tighter as they walked toward it ([Name] walking a tad bit faster)  he could already feel the heat of the fire on his body.  Eric and [Name] set up a small picnic a couple of feet away from the fire.  Laying the blanket on the sand and placing the bag on said blanket.  

Eric watched as the other boy stared longingly at the glowing fire like moths to light. The glow of the fire reflecting off of his dark skin as [Name] leaned closer toward the bonfire feeling the heat smother his face. He slowly stretched a hand growing closer toward it, the heat slowly starting to burn his fingertips. Burn? Burn? Burn! 

A golden flame licked three of his fingers (index, middle, and ring finger) burning them to the touch causing him to let out a soft cry. Eric immediately shot up, grabbing his elbow and pulling him away from the mass of heat. 

¨Ow….¨ [Name] whimpered holding his burned fingers in his other hand. 

¨Here let me see¨ Eric stretches a hand out toward [Name] as he shows him his burn. 

Eric holds [Names] wrist gently inspecting the injury before looking into his eyes. 

“‘You’ll be fine! Once we get back to the castle I’ll put some ointment on it and it’ll be as if you never got burned.”  

“Really?”

“Absolutely! Would you like me to uh… kiss it better?”

A confused look grew on [Names] face as a silence grew between them, this one awkward, unlike last time. 

“O-okay.”

Eric reaches out and takes [Name’s] wrist in his hand and brings his fingertips to his lips and plants a soft kiss on them. [Name] drew in a breath and felt as if his stomach had suddenly become empty and a herd of butterflies had begun fluttering around inside that pit.  Eric lets go of [Name’s] wrist and it slowly falls toward the ground. 

“Feel better?”

“I feel something…”  

“What?”

“Nothing! I feel better.”

“Good!” Eric reaches into the bag and pulls out an orange and hands it to [Name].  [Name] takes it from him and bites into it “No!” Eric shouts and pulls the fruit away from him. “You’re supposed to peel it!” Eric says letting out a small laugh as he starts unraveling the orange. 

Once Eric is done taking off the peal he then takes apart the orange and hands one slice to [Name]  and he slowly bites into it.

“Do you like it?”

“It tastes-It tastes good!  What is it?”

“An orange!”

“Orange” [Name] quietly repeated. 

For the next couple of hours or so Eric and [Name] talked, told stories, and learned so much about each other’s life and the island ([Name] mostly learned about the island of course). Eric lay on his back, his arm behind his head, with [Name’s] head resting on his stomach, lying the opposite way Eric was.  Eric pointed up at the sky and [Name] listened intently as Eric blabbed on about the stars that sat in the black sheet that was the sky. 

“That’s Leo the Lion.”

“It’s beautiful…” 

Eric sits up and [Name] sits up as well and cocks his head to look at Eric with a confused expression. 

“Can I kiss you?”

[Name] nods his head looking up into Eric’s bold blue eyes as Eric smiles at him before slowly leaning in (Name doing the same) their lips touch and [Name] feels a different feeling this time, not the butterfly feeling or an awkward feeling. It was something… different. He felt a warmth in him, not the type that burned but that felt inviting and comforting. On Eric’s lips, he could taste a hint of strawberries well Eric on the other hand could taste the Orange he had eaten the flavor still on his lips.

Both boys could feel their hearts flutter and a great deal of softness could be felt between them. It was nearly perfect the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore and the quiet whistle of the wind only added to the ambiance. 

Eric pulled away his pale face, a soft pastel pink, his mouth twisted into a goofy grin. 

“That was…” [Name] looks up into the night sky searching for the right word. “... to die for… if that’s the right word!”

"You two shouldn't be here." Ariel and M/n turned to Sebastian. The crab crawling up onto the rock. Both of them rolled their eyes. "Oh go crawl back to father." M/n said returning his attention back to the shore. Ariel nodded and waved Sebastian off. "Yeah, we're just wanting a little peek."

"Oh what even are you two...oh. Oh no." The crab saw what both of them were looking at. On the beach seemed to be a wreck of some sort and a group of humans were picking it up. Or at least the cargo. Among them was the human prince, Eric.

This means there should always be a minimum of one comment under every requested fic I post - if I see that this isn’t being followed, I’m going to stop writing requests. Simple as that.

I try to stay as neutral to physical appearance as I possibly can so that everyone gets an equal chance at emerging themselves into the role, no matter the reader’s ethnicity, height, build, and so on.

Writing plus size!reader and writing about eating disorders and body immage issues is too triggering for me as I, myself, struggle with body dysmorphia on a daily basis.

TO THINK ABOUT WHEN REQUESTING:

Don’t be too vague with your request. For example, a request asking for a fic where “the reader is a character x’s sister”, or "the reader is shy” or”sassy”, is not enough for me to go on. I need a scenario, a plot, an action, an endgame, or a dialogue prompt.

Contrary to the previous point; don’t make requests with too much detail or too long of a timeline, either. I don’t have the energy nor time to write requests that are spread out over eternity and that would end up being as long as a novel.

When requesting prompts from my prompt-lists, ALWAYS include the number and name of the list, not just the quote. The lists you can request for are the following:

Don’t get pissy if you request something and I kindly tell you that I don’t write that kind of thing, whatever it may be. I’ve had to deal with this a lot lately and it’s really annoying. All writers have their own, individual preferences, and that’s their right.

"Eric, there's something wrong with me. My body is aching for some reason." Y/N told him.

He had been having a bath, scrubbing himself with that slippery land stuff, when, he felt that weird dangling thing in between his legs get hard and painful. He whimpered at how much it hurt. He couldn't understand why it was hurting him so. Y/N reached down to make it go away and he began to move it around in the water and he quickly discovered that touching it made it go away as he continued to play with it until something white and sticky came out and into the water. And just like that, it didn't hurt anymore. He promised himself to ask Eric when he returned home from the local village.

Eric looks at him confused. "What kind of ache do you feel?"

"Downstairs. That thing between my legs got painfully hard and long. And it hurt, so I touched it and it went away. And it shot out a white sticky substance. Do all land people do that?"

Eric looks at a loss for words. Y/N just admitted to playing with himself in the basin. That turned Eric on as he gasped slightly at how hard his manhood just became. Looks like he would have to show him the fundamentals of sex.

"You were pleasuring yourself. Masturbating."

This part probably feels very rushed as I'm trying to get to writing the reader with eric parts as fast as I can because Im so excited to finally be writing for Eric. This is defenitly more of an Introduction as there isn't much reader and Eric interactions but I did try to make it interesting!!

You found yourself laying on a piece of rock, facing the piece of land that covered your horizon. You went to this specific rock many times a day, just to sit there and imagine what life on land would be like. How the sand would feel beneath your feet, or even how it felt to have feet. You could think of countless things you could do if you ever got a chance to go to the land. The foods you would try, the clothes you would wear. You yearned for that life. 

You were taken out of your thoughts at the sound of your sister, Ariel, calling out to you. "Y/n! There you are" she said, swimming up towards the rock. You turned to face her. "I was told to come get you" 

"And you knew to come here?" You questioned. 

"Yeah, this rock is the only place you ever go" She laughs, clearly making fun of you lack of social life under the sea. 

"Haha" You respond sarcastically. You go back to questioning her "Who told you to come get me?" 

"Oh!" She says clearly remembering why she was there. "Father wanted to see you." You roll your eyes as you start to climb off the rock. "He sounded really mad." She adds, giving a concerned look. 

You inhale softly before diving into the water. You arrived at your fathers throne room. You hated this room. It was the main place you stayed, if you weren't on your rock. Since you were the King's only son in the mix of many daughters, you didn't revive a part of the sea to rule over. Instead he made you one of the main guards to stand by him in the throne room. It was the most boring thing he could ever make you do. You would rather be forced to count the sand that lay around the castle instead. 

You already felt an uneasy feeling in your stomach as you began to enter the throne room. King Triton sat on his throne,clearly irritated. 

"And where were you?" He immediately asked, barely letting you enter the room. 

"Just swimming around." You lied. Triton didn't like you or your sisters to even think about anything beyond the sea, not since your mother was killed. This didn't stop you or Ariel from taking artefacts from shipwrecks that had fallen to the bottom of the sea. 

"Just swimming around?" He mocked your answer, clearly not buying the excuse. He raised his voice. "Do not lie to me. I know what you were doing." He exhaled. His voice softened, not wanting to shout at his only son. "I've told you and Ariel about how I feel about you two interacting with anything to do with the land people." He looks at you. 

You took a deep breath before responding "I know, but father you don't understand I-" 

"I don't want to hear it," Triton interrupts. "I do not want you to even think about anything related to the land, you understand?" Your father says sternly. 

"I understand" You agree, bowing your head, not wanting to fight back. 

"Good, you can leave now." He orders. 

You leave quickly. You were angry, not just at your father but also at yourself for not standing up for yourself against Triton. 

"Y/n wait up!" Ariel called out, swimming up to you with her fish friend flounder. "What was that about?" She asked. 

"The usual" Ariel nodded, knowing what you meant. "Why can't he just understand that this life he's forcing me into isn't what I desire." You ask, looking at her. 

"Have you tried explaining that to him?" Flounder questioned. 

"Many times, each one being shut down before I could even finish the sentence." You respond. 

Suddenly the three of you heard a loud explosion. You all looked up, seeing bright colours shoot across the top of the sea. You swim up to get a closer look, Ariel following behind. You both emerge from the water. There was a ship in front of you, above it being the cause of the noise. The colours in the sky were more prominent now. You watched in awe as the colours spread out across the night sky. You looked over at Ariel, her gaze also focused on the beautiful event happening in front of you two. You sigh, turning to swim back down, not wanting your father to know about this. 

Before you could go back down into the sea, you and Ariel heard shouting coming from the ship. "What the-" You say to yourself as you turn to see what caused the commotion. You watched as an orange hue began to grow across the ship. "Fire" you whispered to Ariel. You and Ariel watched as the passengers got onto a small boat that was released from the ship and dropped into the water below it.  They began to row the boats away from their ship that was being taken over by a raging fire. 

You heard one of the men point towards the ship while shouting a name. "Eric!" You turned your attention back to the ship. You watched as a man, who you assumed was Eric, run up to a dog that was barking. He picked the dog up, throwing it into the ocean below to save it from the flames. Ariel dived under the water, going to help the dog reach the men who were calling for the dog. The ship began to move. You looked back up to the man who helped the dog. He was about to jump down until the movement from the ship caused him to fall back. You watched as he left your view. There was a crashing sound from the ship before the sound of something hitting the water. 

Diving under the water, you saw the cause of the splash. You watched as the man who once stood on the ship, started to sink down into the sea. You swam over to him,dodging the debris from the ship that had started to sink. You wrapped your arms under his and began to pull him back up to the surface. You kept your hold on him, looking around to see what you should do with the unconscious man in your arms. You couldn't bring him towards the others as they would see you. Instead you decided to swim back to land, carefully carrying the man with you. 

It took a bit but you finally reached the land. You felt the heat on your back as the sun began to rise. Your hand rested on the man's chest, monitoring his breathing. You moved your hand to move his hair out of his face to get a closer look at him. He was cute. You felt yourself blushing at the sight of him. You recalled the name that you heard the men call him. "Eric" You said with a smile. 

You heard him groan. He was waking up. He must have heard you say his name. You panicked, quickly turning to go back to the sea. You couldn't let him see you. You re-emerged from the sea, from a further distance, watching as people rushed towards the beach you left him on. They helped him stand as he woke up. You dived back down, heading back to find Ariel. 

You noticed your sisters were where the ship wreck happened."I don't know what Y/n and Ariel find so interesting about the land people, all they cause is trouble." You heard one of them complain. They were cleaning the debris that had fallen on the coral reef below it. One of them noticed you swimming towards them. "Finally he's here." She exclaimed, causing the rest of your sisters to turn. 

You looked around. "Where's Ariel?" You questioned them. 

"Oh, father came for her." One of them answered. "He was looking for you too." 

"Yeah and he was pretty mad." Another added. Great. You swore everytime someone told you that Triton wanted to speak to you it was always followed with a comment about his anger towards you. 

You groaned in annoyance as you turned to head towards the castle yet again. This felt like a daily occurrence lately. You heard him talking to Ariel as you began to enter. 

"Look who finally decided to join us." He said as you caught his attention. Ariel turned to face you. "I don't even have to ask where you were," he said. 

"Father if you just listen" Ariel asked, desperate to explain what happened. 

"You two disobeyed my orders countless times. I'm sick of repeating myself to you two." He complains, annoyance plaguing his voice. 

"A man was drowning." You said, cutting off your fathers rant. "I couldn't let him die." You looked up to face Triton. 

"You know what those people did to your mother, they-" 

"They are evil?" You finished his sentence. "Or is that just your view on them? Father not all of them are what you make them out to be, I watched as that man saved an innocent dog that he could have left to die. He risked his life to save it, would you call that evil?" You clenched your fists as you gave a stern look towards Triton. You could tell he was taken aback by the sudden attitude change from you.

"One action doesn't define a person" he tries to explain. 

"But the one action of a random person killing mom defines every person??" You shot back, starting to get annoyed. 

Your father exhales. "I'm not dealing with your delusional thoughts, you will never understand what they are like up on the land." Your fathers voice begins to get more agitated. "I do not want you or Ariel to go anywhere near the surface ever again. If I hear about either of you disobeying me again there will be consequences. For you Y/n I will be making you practise your guard duties everyday from now on, Sebastian here will act as a supervisor making sure you follow my orders." He points towards the crab that acts as his reporter.

Your eyes widen in shock. "Father, don't you think that's too extra? I mean, you're taking away his sense of freedom" Ariel says anxiously in an attempt to defend you. 

"It's his own fault, I've given you both warnings and I feel you won't listen unless there are real consequences to them. Now leave." He orders.

You exhaled, fighting back tears. "I hate you." You say, shaking your head in disbelief. You left quickly, not being able to stand the sight of your father anymore. 

You swam for what felt like an hour. You stopped, shouting out to yourself. Tears began to rush down your face. You heard someone call your name. You turned to see Sebastian slowly following behind you. 

"I'm not interested in listening to anything my father has to say" You say as Sebastian reaches you. 

"I'm not here with anything from your father, I'm here to talk to you." He explains. 

"Well I'm not interested in that either" You glance over at him.

"I get your mad but you should really understand that your father does care for you and Ariel, he's just trying to- '' Your attention was taking from what Sebastian was ranting about but instead on an eel swimming in the distance. You squint your eyes, trying to get a better look. You watch as it swims away. You decide to follow it, wanting an excuse to leave the conversation. "Hey where are you going?" Sebastian shouts at you. He rolls his eyes as he begins to follow you. 

You follow the eel until it enters a cave. The cave had a light coming from inside. You stop outside, not knowing if you should enter. "HEY!" Sebastian calls to you. "Do not go in there. Supposedly that's the home of the sea witch." He explains 

Sea witch? You thought to yourself. You turn to face him. "A witch? Like one who could cast a spell" you question. 

"I mean that's what a witch is most known for." Sebastian answers. "Wait you aren't-" He suddenly realises why you are so interested. "Oh nononono, you are not going to do what I think you are." You smirk at him before deciding to swim through the hole that the eel did a moment ago. 

You could hear Sebastian complaining as you went deeper into the hole. You exited the hole entering some room. You looked around, trying to find the eel or anything interesting. Your eyes feel on a cauldron that sat in the middle of the room. Suddenly you heard a voice coming from behind you. "Finally I've been waiting for you." You froze in fear, turning to see who was speaking to you…

You woke up to a dim room, the blackout curtains doing their job but the faint glow of the morning sun peeping at the ceiling as the quiet chirps of the birds at dawn created a soundtrack. You felt warm, comfortable and at home as you stared at the once familiar male that was sprawled out close you, his raven hair had grown longer and fell over his now chiselled features in inky waves, eyelashes resting against his cheekbones as he slept peacefully, lips parted slightly. His toned bare body was covered up until his waist by the thin blue blanket that covered your own form and his muscled arm was wrapped tightly around your naked waist as if he was scared that you would slip away while he was rested, warm salty tears rolled down your face and dripped silently on to the whites sheets beneath you as each of his prince-like features triggered an old memory within you.

“Class, this is (Y/L/N) (Y/N), a new student from England who’ll be joining us. Her Mandarin is very basic so please be nice and help her if she doesn’t understand.” The tall middle-aged woman announced to the room of teens then turned to you and continued in a smaller, almost patronising voice, “go sit in the seat next to Guanheng he can help you with the material, he speaks English almost fluently but don’t make a habit of conversing in it.”

Following the teacher’s stern instructions, you ended up in the back of the room cold and silent room at a worn wooden desk next to a slight boy with eyes far too big for him and a bright smile as big as his face, all built-up tension within your frame melted away quickly as you smiled back at the peculiar boy; there was no point paying attention to the math lesson anyway as you couldn’t understand what was being said, you would just have to catch up and teach yourself later on at home.

“How’s school so far?”

You were confused by his choice of first words, no ‘hi, I’m Guanheng’ but instead he asked how’s school. You reply with a short and almost cold response of “it’s fine thank you” before the odd boy pulls you in to a conversation about all sorts, topics ranging from aliens to tests as you tried to avoid being caught by the teacher.

“Guanheng, I’m going to need you to quit playing vines real quick, this test is important and right now I can’t even remember my own name”. you snapped, your mandarin close to fluent and pronunciation almost perfect now out of frustration at the boy.

“Go on a date with me?”

Your pencil slapped the table loudly as it fell from your grip, eyes narrowing at the lanky male sprawled out across your bedroom carpet with his lips now slightly parted in wait while your heart did a weird flutter thing. “What are you going on about now?”

He sat up instantly, an expression of mischief crossed over his face yet you could tell he was being 100% serious with what he had just asked. You catch the glint of nervousness in his large brown eyes and the tiny falter in his smirk as you questioned him and his intentions, “Well you need a stress relief, and I may… kind of… ever-so-slightly-like-you.”

“Guanheng you’re an idiot.” You walked over to him and gently tapped him across the side of his head before sitting yourself in his lap, giggling a little as he caught on to your acceptance of his outburst, “I may ever-so-slightly-like-you-too, Jesus Christ we sound like one of those stupid One Direction fan-fics I read when I was 12.”

“You read One Direction fan fics?”

“Shut up before I take what I said back and I’m not going on that date.”

“So, is there a reason why you bought me to a park in the middle of the night Huang Guanheng?”

“It’s not the middle of the night, it’s 7PM and because,” he set his phone down on the wall close to you both with his suspiciously full Nike backpack before hitting play, SHINee’s Replay (your favourite song) filtering quietly through the small portable speaker and walking over to where you stood waiting for his explanation. “I thought we could have a dance party for our date!”

You laughed brightly as he began to dance, copying the groups choreography but using exaggerated moves to make you laugh and asking you to join in. The pair of you continued to dance  along to a compilation of both yours and his favourite songs, occasional pedestrians stopping to watch the pair of you animatedly executing the moves and only stopping to collapse on the grass after when you could hardly breathe, a small layer of sweat clung to your foreheads. Guanheng passed you a still ice-cold water bottle from his backpack before moving to set up a tiny picnic of various foods, the biggest dish however being chicken feet which he placed in front of himself as you stared in slight disgust (still not being used to some of the strange delicacies of the country so different from the one you had been used to while growing).

“Did your mum make all of this?” You eyed up the carefully made chicken wraps and beef rolls.

“Actually, not everything,” he continued to pull a foil-covered lump from his bag, unwrapping it gently and placing it in front of you proudly. “I made this specially for you!”

You glanced down at the clearly home-made battered fish that had been sandwiched between 2 slices of buttered white bread and smothered in ketchup and salt, crusts cut off and the edges cut in to a really awkwardly shaped wobbly heart so that the bread could stay soft.

“I know it’s not as good as what you would have back at home or like, what your mum makes, but I know you miss home and I thought I would try and make you something you have there so here can feel like home! You don’t have to eat it if you don’t want to but-“

Guanheng was cut off as your lips smashed, literally smashed, on to his clumsily, the both of you pulling away moments later when the taste of blood filtered in to both of your mouths as you realised that the force you had hit him with had split your lip. Guanheng instantly began to panic as thick blood dripped on to your blue jeans from the small cut on your bottom lip, all food forgotten in front of you as he began to baby you, placing his fingers to your cut to try and stop it from dripping more but then beginning to freak harder when the liquid came in to contact with his skin as he was now smearing your warm blood over both your chin and his hand.

“Hendery calm down! I’m at home here” Guanheng instantly froze, hand falling from your lips to your thigh, slightly squeezing it as he processed what you had just called him.

“Hendery?”

A blush fell across your cheeks as you put your hand over his and intertwined your fingers, “yeah, you’re just… a Hendery. It sounds kind of prince like, you remind me of Prince Eric a little, you just need to grow out your hair a bit!”

“Hm… well I guess I can be your prince?”

“Huang Guanheng, shut up you’re so embarrassing!”

“Aaaaand here, best spot on the wall for a photo!”

The winter sun made the snowy ground glitter prettily, most of the snow untouched as the public decided it was best to stay inside, making it a perfect time for you and Hendery to visit the usually busy place. Your boyfriend’s cheeks had a soft blush to them as he positioned you in ‘the perfect position’ for a photo, the rest of the wall’s walkway could be seen behind you as well as the fairy-tale-like scene of the snow-covered forest and mountains. “Hendery, I want you in it though!”

They boy stared at you, a slight pout on his face as he walked back over, phone still in hand and the camera app open. “But I want a picture of you in this pretty scene for my lock screen!”

You took him by the hand and wrapped one arm tightly around his waist, going up on tip toes and bringing your now spare gloved hand up to flick him on the forehead gently, “you know it would be much prettier if my Disney prince is in it too, right?”

“What do you mean ‘you’re going to Korea to join SM’, are you actually crazy?” You stared at him as he sat across his bed in, disbelief lacing your uneven voice, his light grip on your hands tightening as he gulped audibly.

“Y-yeah, I got cast last week while I was in Korea with Cathy for that Exo show. I’m going next week, they’ve booked everything and I just have to turn up to the airport on Tuesday with my stuff, I’m going to be a trainee…”

Uncomfortable silence engulfed the small and cosy room, neither of you could make eye contact and all you could think about is how your best friend and boyfriend was about to leave you after nearly a year to move to a new country and chase a career in a company that you knew wouldn’t treat him how he deserved to be treated. Your mind raced with all the things you wanted to say, you wanted to beg him to stay and find a better company, or even to just continue his training to become a comedian.

“You know… SM doesn’t have the best track record with how they treat their Chinese idols right? Hangeng, Kris, Tao and Luhan have all been treated like crap because they’ve been in that company, you could literally be put in to any company!” Your mind and mouth worked together to betray you, your voice raising more than intended and exposing your slught anger at the situation.

“Yeah but SM basically guarantee success, I know my efforts and time won’t be wasted. I know they’ll be giving me the best career and I can come home and we can do everything we’ve planned and-”

You threw his hands back to his lap as you scrambled off of the bed, you could feel yourself burning up in anger at his words and scowling down at him.

“Are you even hearing yourself right now? You’re willing to let yourself get treated like shit just for some fame? Are you a fucking idiot Guanheng? I’m not standing by and watching you harm yourself from a thousand miles away, I refuse to be a part of that!”

“It’s not just for fame,” he scrambled to stand in front of you now, anger on his red-tinged face as he scowled back at you. “It’s what I want to do, it has nothing to do with you! You’re just getting like this because once I leave you’ll have no one here because you don’t talk to anyone else, if you refuse to be a part of it then don’t be.”

The air thickened noticeably at his words as you let it soak in, tears prickled at your eyes and a large lump forming in your throat. “Fuck you.”

And you left.

4 years had passed since then, he had left with nothing but a text apologising for what he had said, how he understands that what he said was wrong and wishing you the best because he assumed (and he had done so correctly) that you would want nothing more to do with him.

2 years of school had passed quickly with no interactions between you and him or his family other than the odd conversation with one of his older sisters (who were nothing but nice to you even now) if you happened to bump in to each other in the streets, you had entered university for journalism and was currently holding an internship for the summer with Shanghai Daily working on their celebrity news section and somehow, as if the world hated you, you had ended up being the intern sent to interview the new and rising group WayV as you were the youngest there and would ‘understand what the people wanted’.

When Guanheng’s, or Hendery as you now had to call him with a deep pang in your chest as you remembered giving him that name, large eyes met yours you couldn’t help but be reminded of the first time you had met him. When he moved his floppy hair out of his face you couldn’t help but (willy - Jazz Brain @namkook666 on Twitter go follow) be reminded of him being determined to grow it out to follow your whole Prince Hendery agenda. What hurt the most though was when you woke up the day after in his hotel bed, his bare chest pressed against yours, his arms tightly around your waist as your warm lips pressed together in the morning glow, legs tangled together and tears wetting both of your hot faces as you were reminded of what you had previously had and could never get again.
