I was today years old when I found out there are two beach palm forests in Crete and not one like I thought.

One is the Vai palm forest which is located far east, in the north of Lasithi.

The other one is the palm forest of Préveli which is in the south of Rethymno.

All this time I thought Preveli was the region and Vai was the name of the palm forest in this region. And I was looking for information for the blog and all pages were like Vai is in Lasithi and Preveli is in Rethymno and it was hurting my brain so much 🤦‍♀️😂😂

That means I might have also tagged some old posts wrong oh myyyy

PS: There’s another one. The palm forest of Ayios Nikitas. And this is in Heraklion! Bitch what 🫠🫠🫠

Kreta im Winter, mit leeren Stränden, freundlichen Menschen und vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Dazu die wunderschöne, grüne Insel!

Eine Woche Resturlaub gilt es auszufüllen und so suchen wir uns die Insel Kreta dafür aus. Ende November geht es los. Kreta im Winter. * Anreise Ab Mitte, Ende Oktober gibt es ab Deutschland keine Nonstop-Flüge mehr, also fliegen wir mit Aegean Airlines von Frankfurt via Athen nach Heraklion. Die Flüge sind sehr gut gebucht und nahezu voll. Das Umsteigen in Athen ist einfach und die gute Stunde…
