okay okay so i'm guessing without the archive existing anymore, "the magnus protocol" is the agreement between the governmental bodies of this universe to control the fears. there's been some sort of established agreement with the avatars so that the fears are fed, but no rituals happen to bring the destruction of the world.

Amateur logo design hour! I'm making a new logo for my imprint, in_D Press. So far, I kind of like this one where in_D is sideways. The extra rectangle in the top right is supposed to be a sheet of paper to represent the whole typesetting/typography/book design thing, but what I like about it is that it doubles as a spot for me to put art/colored pages for fun:

Press release:

When creating a collection, a press release is required beforehand. It is an integral part of the design process, which summarises your collection, and come in a specific format. Our collection is not real to be released for a customer, but if it was we would each need our own individual press release as each of our collections are completely different, for different customers with different trends and design concepts. Press releases include the name of your collection, what season it is and the market level. They also include an introduction to you as a designer, which we wrote about ourselves in the third person, as it would not be the designer writing the press release in reality. It also includes who the collection is for and more information about the collection as a whole. For example it must include the key elements of the collection, especially where the inspiration has come from as well as your silhouette, colours, texture, fabrics etc. You also just include where your collection can be seen, and where and if it can be purchased, as well as your web address or boutique address. Obviously, we don’t have a real boutique or fashion house so we had to come up with a fake address, I used a street in central Paris on a street that has many designer stores such as Hèrmes. I also included my logo at the top, as it is now our own brand logo. Most importantly, in the top right hand corner, it is important to include ‘For immediate release’ which informs the journalists or publishers when it is to be released. If it was NOT to be released immediately, then it would include when it is to be released.

We also, as you can see in the second image brainstormed words that described our collection. This made writing our press release easier as we could include lots of words to describe our collection. We ensured to include fabrics, silhouettes, inspiration, colours and words that sum up the collection and the customer, such as ‘funky’.
