A kind user on Neo adopted out Prasle the wraith usul to me, so I whipped up something quick with her petpet for her lookup.

From her lookup: Prasle is a Muse, a being summoned to this world to inspire. As it stands, she is the Muse of a young artist and takes the form of dark swirling ink. Prasle has the ability to pop out of pools or splotches of ink and can interact with a drawing - her artist even insists that sometimes the clever Muse even brings the drawing to life to play with them. She is often accompanied by Font, her Bloop. Font is much like Prasle, however he tends to shape-shift to form letters or punctuation to communicate with the Muse and artist. This often means taking the form of an exclamation point when excited or a question mark when confused. He is confused often.

Edit: Oh, also she’s supposed to be small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. I know I don’t really convey that in this pic tho ^^;

I didn’t even think there was going to be a part 4 and look omg the second to last one was a massive headache to place in the timeline wtf

Tallo sighed as he entered the females’ room, Enix was sitting on her bed seemingly doing some homework with a couple of notebooks open in front of her, scribbling something and checking her phone. When she noticed her fellow flying-type she subtly pointed at her roommate’s bed and made a gesture lowering her hands. He just nodded.

He approached Shira’s bed where the meercle was just laying down sideways, her hooves flexing and knees curling to her chest. She was wearing only her tube top bra and shorts and he could see a couple of dark bruises on her back and her right shoulder.

“Hey” He called out casually, then stood there a bit awkwardly, running a hand through his hair “Uh… so, how are you feeling?”

The girl sighed and carefully rolled over her good shoulder “…Still can’t move my arm very well” She grimaced “Hi Tallo”

Her skin ached. Her muscles ached. Every time she moved it was as if those same spots burned.

He walked over to the other side of her bed so she didn’t have to roll, seeing as she didn’t mind much her current appearance in front of him, and sat at the edge of her bed “And what did the SAMU people said?  Couldn’t they heal you with heal pulse or some shit?” He asked confused.

Her expression relaxed “They did help actually, it was hurting a lot more before and the bruises looked worse, all purple and swollen, there was even some blood because the rocks had cut the skin” She explained.

Tallo frowned slightly, he could only imagine what it must’ve felt like, taking a direct hit from a stone edge like that might as well be similar to getting shot.

“For now they just told me to keep rest, eat well and all that, it’ll take some days until I’m recovered. I bet this wouldn’t happen if I knew some damn synthesis” The girl mentioned “It’s fine though, I’m mostly just tired anyway, anything else I’m past it” She closed her eyes and yawned.

“Hmmm…” The boy looked around a bit and turned to Enix who was engrossed in her phone “You know… Siegard is still feeling pretty frustrated about this whole thing”

She opened her eyes and frowned now “You mean like guilty?” That would explain why she hadn’t seen his face again since she was taken to the SAMU after the battle. She clicked her tongue “Ahh tell him not to, he’s an idiot. This was just an accident we were battling, what did he expect? I don’t hold anything against him, tell him not to overthink it that much…”

Tallo chuckled “Alright I’ll try, but still he feels bad about hurting you, he’s been kinda moping and stressing around, the practice dummies sure feel it” He placed a hand on hers and let out one of his characteristic smiles “You take care and focus on getting back on your hooves, Shinning Mirage, and if you need anything you know you can just gimme a shout”

“Sure, I could use some help from the great Multipass’ leader” She smirked. The osubame got up and turned ready to leave, though the girl rolled out slightly one last time to call him out “Actually Tallo… if you could straight up tell Sieg to come here so we can talk and he can see I’m fine that would be grand”

He stood at the door and nodded, waving to Enix as well “Gotcha”

This was it, the final event of the day and it just so happened to be the Detriment Duel. James stared from the sideline, fully entranced on the battle. For once (and finally!) Shira was representing The Elementario, while one of his teammates, Sunney, was representing Multipass. The Legemd member had been surprisingly eliminated already.

The two females where really duking it out in the field, Sunney had type disadvantage being a Marilli, but compensated it with a quite fantastic series of icicle spear and trying to put off her opponent with a mist she conjured up from the very humidity of the air. The Meercle on her part did her best tossing some energy balls and trying to get close enough to deliver a kick, swiftly avoiding some icicles.

“Hmmm Sunney really was prepared for this” Someone mentioned towards him, the Rukushio turned to see his own team leader himself looking at the battle with genuine interest, a slight smile on his lips “Who said anything about no field advantage, look at how she mastered that mist”

“Indeed” James nodded “And she’s got Shira’s bulldoze locked as well because changing her type would mean bad news for that type match-up”

“Sure, she doesn’t need to change types though” The Osubame offered casually with a hand gesture “But I get the feeling she’s gotten too used to that lately so it’s kind of out of her comfort zone… it doesn’t help that she can’t get close either, but on the other hand that technique really tires out Sunney”

“Hmmmm… who are you rooting for?” James suddenly asked curiously.

“My gal of course…” He chuckled and looked up at the scoreboard, James let out a tiny sigh.

Well of course he’d want Multipass to win.

“… Shira” Tallo finished his sentence.

The Rukushio side-stared at him “Tune down the possessiveness Tallo” James teased arching an eyebrow at the Osubame.

In exchange, he only smirked “Tune down the jealousy James” He turned back to the battle “Don’t get me wrong, of course I support my team, what kind of leader would I be if not? But Shira is just… someone very special for me”

James frowned, so that’s how it was for him then…

“Who are you rooting for?” The Osubame asked this time.

“Both of them” He replied calmly.

Tallo just smirked slightly.

“I’m nervous I’m nervous I’m nervous, can’t do this!” Shira panicked to herself shaking her hands around and walking in circles

Tallo rolled his eyes “’course you can! Calm down”

Dan chuckled, crossing his arms “You always say that yet you do an amazing job”

“I do try my best” She answered sincerely, glancing at the Livolt “But there are so many people thooouuugh”

“Well suck it up, you’re the first one” Tallo patted her in the back and the Meercle jolted.

Not now legs not now!

“And now introducing… our team leaders!” The trio heard Kona announce. The Prasle twirled around to the right side of the court field as she gestured with her left arm to the center, right hand holding the mic. All around the field, the students sitting on the benches roared with cheers, clapping, whistling and celebrating.

This time the voice was male belonging to the Minum, Kito “Representing The Elementario, our studious and hardworking Shira Hanaki!”

The girl took air, shook her head a bit and stepped out to the field as Tallo gave her a thumbs up. The tall girl immediately looked around with a grin waving her hand and greeting the public that cheered, clapped and called out to her, she nodded in acknowledgement at them.

“The charismatic face of team Multipass, give an applause to Tallo Tsubasa!”

The boy in question followed the same path as her to the center field, eyes closed with a confident smirk, extending out both arms and doing raising gestures with his hands as the students yelled and acclaimed him. Shira couldn’t help but let out a small snort along with a chuckle, and she was the arrogant one?

Tallo stood next to her at the left and unfurled his wings, doing a reverence with both them and his arms as a thankful gesture, besides him the girl placed a hand at her hip. “Sweet Xerneas Tallo, you’re loving this aren’t you?” She asked in a low voice raising and eyebrow though barely turning to look at him.

“Telling me you aren’t?” He replied back smoothly, standing up straight from his reverence.

“Determined and strong he’s the lead of team Legemd, Dan Beloin!”

“Is she implying we’re not determined and strong?” Tallo jokingly whispered over to the girl and she was tempted to elbow him to stop.

Unlike the other two Dan marched up rather seriously, just casually giving a two-finger salute in response to the cheering to his name. He stood at Shira’s right as she wondered to herself why was she center one.

“Quite a number of fangirls you got there” Shira murmured to him, keeping her smile to everyone around, but particularly mischievous to her fellow electric-type. “Though you’re not behind Tallo” She side-glanced at the boy.

“Oh please dear Shira, the girls may be torn between us both but you bet all the males here are whistling at you” Tallo ran a hand through his hair.

“Is this what Kendra felt I wonder?” She joked with a slight roll of her eyes.

Dan joined in the fun “Maybe you should blow them a kiss” and the Osubame had to disguise some laughter as a cough.

“Now now cut it out guys, this is about to begin”

Farz came back holding a few open beers, he gave one to Rose and one to Shira who just thanked him and kept chatting, loud comments and laughs peppered their conversation. Tallo wasn’t sitting too far and just smiled warmly at the nostalgia and even serenity the scene gave him.

The blond presented a bottle to Romy as well, she stared at it in shock “Again? I just finished a beer wait”

He shrugged “It’s already open though, take it”

“Watch it guys, if we keep this up in no time someone will be remembering preschool” Tallo yelled, Shira almost choked on her drink with some laughter.

She laughed “She’s fifteen guys give her a break”

“She’s a year older than us when we first got drunk” Rose teased with a smirk so wide it was impossible for Shira to ignore her.

“Exactly why I know what I mean” The Meercle nodded in an equally low voice, Rose snorted “Romy wait for the food girl, you’re gonna thank me later” Shira warned.

“What is taking them so long?” The Butterfree turned around as if searching for someone, propping herself a little to sit straight “I swear, men doing a barbecue are slow as a Yadon”

“Hey, I heard that and I resent that!” Tallo exclaimed, gesturing to her with his bottle.

Rose raised her own to him as well “Cheers!” She then chugged it down, Romy laughed.

“I heard too, so if you want food you can come and get it yourself Rose” James said as he entered the room with a small tray, offering to Shira and Romy before sitting next to the later and placing the thing on the small table. “Seth and Dan are coming with the rest in a while”

“Sorry darling but she’s right though” Shira said swallowing and passing him a beer too.

He opened it and looked around “Where are Mastersson and Sunney?”

“Couch, dizzy” Farz summarized, finishing his drink, it was the second one and he would do good settling a bit while getting something in his stomach.

“So two of the three future leaders are knocked out? Some hope” The Rukushio joked drinking too. Farz stretched to pick some food from the tray while Shira shot Rose and Romy a knowing look.

“They’ll be fine” The butterfree said sweatdropping.

Shira was sitting silently at the roof of the Lune building. The air was somewhat chilly yet for once she didn’t pay much attention, her mind too busy thinking on recent events all over the Kalos region. Power outages, food shortages, looting… just what was happening?

All of that made them admittedly worried, rumors were spreading about how recently graduated militaire students were getting recruited by the forces, and how children even younger than them were out there protesting and making their voices be heard.

They had less than six months left.

She heard the soft flap of wings as the air danced on them elegantly. Seconds later Tallo landed next to her silently, she greeted him quietly as he sat down. None said anything for a few moments until she spoke.

“Things are getting crazy huh?”

“Yeah… what would you do if you got recruited after graduation?” Tallo asked with a certain nervousness.

Shira looked down for a moment and sighed “I... want to fight, of course” she said staring back at him with determination “this is what we train for after all, beneath all the games and sparring and jokes, us militaire students are trained for this”  

He looked oddly conflicted though “It’s not the same…” He mumbled.

“I know” She replied sharply, though not angry and her expression then softened to prove the point “It’s dangerous, it’s scary, incredibly so but… Kalos is my heart and my home, and if it’s hurting it hurts me too. All the people, students as young as us giving their lives out there, the chaos” She looked down

“And we’re just here doing nothing…” He added with a heavy sigh “I understand how you feel, being so impotent, like you just want to do something” She nodded.

The night was quiet for a while as they both settled in a thoughtful and comfortable silence. After a few minutes she shivered lightly from the air and he sighed, speaking again “Hey, if we end up being recruited then let’s make sure we show Kalos what the DZA is all about”

A smile graced her face once more “Always” She replied proudly.

He stood up and helped her get up as well “For now let’s stick with training the Basic and Advanced students, we need to leave behind some heirs after all”

Shira brought a hand to her mouth trying to stifle some laughter “That sounded kinda wrong”

He stretched a wing and lightly flapped it against the back of her head, she laughed harder.
