“No, maybe not this one… Oh!” You gasp as you read point twenty-four on the piece of paper in your hands, your slightly messy handwriting shining through. “Go to an arcade dressed as one of the Powerpuff Girls.”
You look at Jisung with an enthusiastic grin, lightly bouncing on the cotton couch of your friend’s living room. Your eyes meet his, dead silent, his elbow pushing into one of the dark grey pillows he is propped on.
“Does this bucket list include anything… not embarrassing to do in public?”
Your eyebrows raise at Jisung’s sceptical voice. For a split second, you wonder what’s embarrassing about looking good and having fun, but your mind quickly dismisses the dilemma and you try to remember having any mild ideas during the creation of the bucket list. The lightbulb next to your head doesn’t turn on though. Instead, you realize the said list is the result of the girls’ night you had with your friends last month with too much alcohol involved in the process.
“You have some high expectations…” You mumble more to yourself than him, reading through each sentence carefully, but soon enough give up when you see a little distorted ‘swim with the sharks’ under point five.
You side-eye Jisung. Embarrassing? No, but definitely dangerous and definitely not something he would be down for.
“You know, we can just grab some popcorn and watch One Piece.” Resigned, you put the list right next to Jisung’s half-empty energy drink bottle on the glass coffee table to scratch a specific spot on the back of your head, although nothing’s itchy.
Jisung stares at the bucket list for a moment, bringing his hand to play with his earlobe as he gets lost in his thoughts. After almost two years of knowing him, you already know it’s his unconscious sign that he’s considering the options, so you give him the space and look around his living room to occupy his restless self.
Even though his place is small (as expected with the ridiculously high prices of apartments in Seoul, despite the location being outside the city center), the living room has always felt spacious to you. You assume it’s the work of his friend Renjun, as they live together. You’d noticed his artistic soul and the ‘I’ll do it’ nature right away when you first met him. The green plants in the corner and the delicate decorations reflect Renjun’s personality much more than Jisung’s—the latter is all about unevenly taped posters on the walls and a mix of clothes, shoes, and items scattered all over his room’s floor.
“Give me that list,” Jisung suddenly says, stretching his limb out to take the paper from the coffee table. You flinch forward, your first instinct to stop him. You are comfortable with him, but some of the points are… private, to say the least. He raises a brow at you, the bucket list almost in his hand, waiting for your further reaction. Yes, the list is a bit much, but you shouldn’t be ashamed of your dreams, you think to yourself. You wave your hand at him dismissively and rest your head back on the couch.
Jisung takes the list and repositions himself on the couch. It takes a while, as his legs look uncomfortably long to be squished into a cross-legged position, but you don’t say anything, just watch him read the list after finally getting cozy. His reaction changes from a questioning frown to an agonizing sigh to a blank blink at least five times, and the silence has the blood rushing to your cheeks. You take a minute (long? Short? You don’t know, but definitely painful) to regret bringing the list to him and distract yourself again. The window curtains have never looked better.
Jisung points at the paper, looking at your blushed face, amused. “Kiss all of my friends and rate the experiences from best to worst.”
Yeah, the curtains are so interesting today.
“I don’t remember writing this,” you justify yourself, tapping your knee with your fingers. It is true—after all, it was the alcohol in you making the list. Then again, ‘drunk words, sober thoughts’, they say.
Jisung watches your embarrassed self as a smirk slowly grows on his lips. He chuckles to himself, shaking his head. “You’re a freak.”
Something about the way he says it boosts your confidence and you forget how hot your face feels. Your courage to make eye contact is back, and mirroring his smirk, you catch a new glint in his eyes you have never seen before. You eye him up and down and realize how good he looks in a plain t-shirt and baggy pants. Maybe it’s the simplicity, or the clothes’ shape just flatters his body. Either way, his looks do him justice without much effort. The mischievous sparkle in his eyes when he looks at you also suits him, by the way.
“Let’s do it.”
“Do what?” You tease, although you don’t have to ask to know what he means.
“Kiss,” he gets up from the couch to stand in front of you, resting his hands on the back of the couch as he hovers over your body. “Let’s kiss.”
Jisung’s stare is so intense it sends shivers down your spine, sending you deeper into the couch. He even looks intimidating like that, when he is only centimeters away from your face. His new confidence excites you, your heart pumping the blood into your veins faster. It probably beats louder too, but you don’t hear it. All of your attention is on Jisung and his hot breath brushing against your skin.
You wrap your hands around his neck, fingers immediately feeling the cold metal on his nape. You look at the silver chain hanging on his neck before bringing your eyes almost back to his, stopping a little lower—at his lips.
You’ve always been a risk-taker. Nothing can ever go wrong in your mind and the aftermath is never your worry. When you saw a ‘Caution! Wet floor’ sign in a shopping mall as a kid, you would purposefully speed up your walk, laughing to the bits if you fell. Skipping class in high school wasn’t scary despite the consequences you had to face, at least you had fun. Moving out of your parents’ house a little too early—it was tough, but you handled it. Kissing your friend?
“Let’s see which place you’ll get,” is what you whisper before smashing your lips into his.
It’s messy at first, the flames in you not knowing if you want to ease each other’s fire or add even more fuel to it. It’s unexpected, the way your lips fit with his just right, but you love it. Your fingers tighten on Jisung’s nape, the other hand moving into his hair as you pull him closer, prompting him into your body. His hand moves to your neck, thumb lifting your chin to deepen the kiss.
He tastes like the cherry chapstick you bought for him after you noticed his once-dry lips that are now tasting your sweet lipgloss. Like a siren call, it’s something you cannot resist no matter how hard you try. Not that you want to, anyway. The adrenaline only grows in you with each touch, making you bolder, leaving you wanting more. But Jisung knows better than to turn into a starving animal. He pulls away, keeping your face at a small enough distance for you to not hunt your prey down.
“So,” he breathes out, thumb brushing over your lip, “what’s the ranking?”
You take a moment to admire the pink blush and satisfied smile on his face, wrapping your finger around his necklace to bring him closer again, foreheads clashing lightly.
“Not sure yet…” You smile, your leg pushing his hip to flip him around, seat him on the couch, and straddle him, “might have to check again.”
“Yeah, let’s make sure,” he loops his arms around your waist, pulling you into a kiss once more.
The best.
That’s the ranking.

Can we get poly submas x DILF reader who has triplets from a previous marriage? Can you also make the triplets identical I just think that would be funny lol.
Poly Submas x Dilf Reader with Triplets
It's pretty obvious that people know who the twins are by this point. They're battle masters, train conductors, and are considered Unova's most sought after bachelors. You know them well actually, considering that they're your boyfriends.
You're a father of identical triplets, all girls. Every year you all dress up as Professor Utonium and the Powerpuff Girls. You always tell the girls that they can ask for a different themed costume but they insist on dressing up as Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup.
The girls are candy sweet, you love them so much! People often times have their own little nicknames for them. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, or Eenie, Miney, Mo, sort of names.
The girls from oldest to youngest are named: Momoka, Hana, and Akari. The girls are adopted and you all immigrated over to the Unova region after you were able to secure a better job for a life for all four of you.
The girls are a handful at times but you're quite thankful to have the twins as your boyfriends. When you first immigrated, you were showing the girls on how to ride the subways safely. They all attended the same private school. The four of you would ride together in the morning and then the girls would walk over to where you worked at the Nimbasa Library. You'd all get lunch and when you went back to work, the girls would do their homework and play on the computers until it was time to go home.
There was a time though, the girls wanted to go hang out with some classmates. You were obviously very worried about them going on their own so you insisted that they take one of your Pokemons with you. But at some point, the girls got lost in the subway station, at three separate locations, and were crying for your help in the group chat.
You immediately went to look for them, asking for help. You found one of your girls but then when you found Hana and Akari, they were with one of the twins. Hana had found Emmet, and somehow charmed her way into getting him to buy her a lollipop. Akari was with Ingo, the two holding hands together as her other hand held a toy he had given her. You thanked the twins profusely for their assistance.
Since that day forward, the twins became almost an integral part of your life. Somehow the three of you have similar work schedules and train routes. In the morning, you'd see the twins on the same train to Nimbasa from Anville Town. The girls were happy to see the twins, but after learning that Hana got candy, the other two girls often ask when they'd get their share. It was here that you explained to the twins that the girls learned the concept of sharing. On the occasion you don't buy singular treats, you buy them a big candy bar and tell them to share it evenly.
On the train rides back home, the girls are often talking to the twins about their day. Talking about their school subjects and what not. At least until they found out that Ingo and Emmet are among Unova's best trainers and then they get excited and ask many questions, including wanting to see their pokemon.
When you all arrive at the same destination for home, the girls insist that the twins come over for dinner. The twins at first are apprehensive, but the girls insist and beg for you to let them join. Thankfully you have enough food in the fridge to prepare a large meal for them.
What started off as a coincidence, then intentions, easily became domestic. You at first tried to keep your romantic life with the twins a secret from the girls, at least until you gave them an explanation on gay people. When they saw Emmet and Ingo give you a kiss on the cheek, they all screamed in delight.
Birthdays and holidays became bigger with them in your lives. You wouldn't have it any other way.

Spooky 3 (California Kings// Poly Chanlix)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
poly chanlix (bang chan x reader x felix) themes: polyamory/throuple, fluffy, funny, two boyfriend shenanigans, mention of sex, alaskan king bed (not californian king), three parts of halloween with your boyfriends ♡ Spooky Season 2023♡
Part I: Costumes
“Ok boys,” you announced as you jumped onto the bed where the two were relaxing. “spooky season is upon us. It is time to decide on costumes.“
Felix sat up excitedly. “Oh yeah! We have to do something good.”
“Should we go trio again?”
Chan, who was watching tv, paused his video. “It’s one of the fun things about being together. You have to take advantage of it.”
You nodded. “Important question: are either of you opposed to wearing dresses?”
Chan seemed confused but Felix just shrugged. “Nah.” Chan echoed the same sentiment after a moment before adding “Do you have a good idea or do you just want to see us in dresses?”
“Yeah,” Felix added. “Because we’ll do it anytime.”
The thought made you giddy but you refocused. “In that case, we could always go classic trio. Powerpuff Girls!”
The men seemed less than enthused.
You shrugged “Just a thought.”
“Hmm,” Chan hummed in thought. “What about Ghostbusters?”
“There are 4 Ghostbusters.” You frowned.
He groaned, rolling his eyes. “Ok maybe we just say Stantz is sick.”
Felix shook the mattress as he jumped up and down in excitement. “O! What about Batman, Robin, and Batgirl!”
Your eyes light up. “That’s a great idea!”
Chan sat up, now excited as well. “Good idea, Lix!”
“I wanna be Robin!” the younger says.
“I’ll be Batman. Robin shouldn’t go kissing my girl though.” Chan jests.
He starts searching for costumes on his laptop as Felix protests next to him. “Actually Dick and Barbara were together-”
“Sure, Boy Wonder.”
Felix jumps on Chan as they begin to play fight. You laugh as you take the laptop and peruse through a list of trio costumes. Some are interesting though less fun than Felix’s idea, others have you cringing at the suggestions.
“Oh what about Woody, Buzz, and Jessie from Toy Story!”
Chan sits up from where he has Felix pinned under him, holding the boy’s wrists in his hand. “Oh that’s a good one too!”
Felix squirms under him. “I wanna be Buzz!”
“Trying to get with my girl again, Lightyear?”
“Buzz and Jessie are together!”
Chan knows that but has fun egging his boyfriend’s ranting on.
Next to them, you add both positively received ideas to the list, knowing you might have to deal with it more later since your boyfriends seem riled up now.
Part II: Party Party...yeah?
Three drunks at party can get rough.
Part of the time you three are glued together, somewhere in the middle of where the dancing is happening, grinding on each other in a way that has people that don’t know you questioning if they’re going to see a threesome and the three of you about to give them that show.
Or
The other times you are all lost in the dim party lighting unsure of when you separated. You become aware of the lack of warmth you’re used to and drunkenly look for your boyfriends. Thankfully, you find your oldest boyfriend with a trash bag. Somehow he’s managed to clean part of the kitchen in the time you lost track of him. With a groan, you take the bag from him. “We need to find Lixxie. I’m tired and the music is making me want to hit someone.”
He seems to sober up ever so slightly, recognizing you’re at the point where you can’t handle being around other people like this. Last time he and Felix insisted on you staying with them you ended up passing out in a linen closet and they couldn’t find you for three hours.
He takes your hand intending to lead you but you walk much faster. You want to find your third before you start crying. Alcohol and your emotions make for a rollercoaster when you aren’t careful.
And with the way the three of you were downing "ghost shots" when you arrived, you weren’t careful at all.
Chan spots the blonde in his Robin costume. You didn’t see him at first but saw the man sifting through the bowl of candy as you approached.
“You remember we have candy at home right?” Chan says making Felix jump. He was barely phased by the older being strangely close, instead, his attention turned to your purse. “Yeah, but this is free candy.” He gently tugs you closer to him by the strap. You’re confused for a second, not having paid attention too much thanks to how good he looks in his costume, until you realize what he’s doing. He unzips your bag, dumping his loot in. The purse is more decorative than anything else but he doesn’t seem to care much.
“Technically our candy IS free for you because I bought it.” Chan chastises though doesn’t try to stop him. Clearly, he wasn’t listening anyway as he took a final mini snicker before zipping the bag.
He finally looks up at you, whining. “Can we go home now?”
Chan rolls his eyes probably muttering how that is why you both came to find him but you're so endeared by him you just nod and take his hand.
Part III: Back to Bed
Coming into the house was already alleviating the pressure you felt. As if you couldn’t stand it anymore you started to strip as you made for the bedroom immediately. Felix follows suit, mask then cape, before basically breaking the back of the outfit to pull it down around his waist. Chan starts cleaning up behind you two silently.
By the time you flop back on the bed, you’ve somehow managed to pull yours completely off.
Chan sees Felix struggling with the tightness of the pants. You open your eyes at the grunt Felix lets out. As you watch Chan start to strip Felix you feel the sparks of arousal. Felix in turn helps your Batman do the same. Your mind starts to delve further into desire as he fixes Chan’s hair after undressing him. It’s short-lived as Felix pouts, putting his arms out to hug you but tackling you backward onto the bed instead. You laugh as you stroke his head. His hair tickles you while he buries his face in your neck. You look up, wondering why Chan hasn’t joined yet.
Silently, he’s picking up everything on the floor. You watch for a moment as he flints around the room like a fairy, cleaning the tornado that is his drunken partners. You laugh to yourself as you get up. Doing as you did earlier, you take the discarded costume from his hand. He looks confused but lets you lead him to the bed. You sit on the bed, holding his hand to drag him with you as you scoot back. Felix finds you again with his eyes still closed as Chan lays on his back with a deep sigh.
The alcohol settles in your system again as you feel how tired you are.
Chan seems to feel the same. “Only two more to go.”
“Huh?” you look over to him, his hands behind his head and his eyes closed.
He opens an eye to peek at you. “Minho’s party is next week.” Chan states.
“And our company party is on Halloween.” Felix adds.
You groan loudly rolling to your side to curl into a ball. Somehow you’d forgotten it was only the 20th. “We shoulda just gone as ghosts.”
Felix laughs and he sits up resting on your side. “Sounds like more free candy to me.”

The Lost Blossom Shampoo Commercial Part 3
Tumblr media
I was already following Hook Up Animation on Instagram because they post old promos and even newer promos like that amazing one they did for Cartoon Network's 30th anniversary. I opened up Instagram and the first thing I see is that they posted a compilation video of various promos they did featuring the Powerpuff Girls. Since I have learned recently from someone at Hook Up that Hook Up Animation worked on it, I had reason to believe I was about to see at least the clip I saw in the Rogan and Toonix reels. It's not the full spot, but about 9 seconds in, there it was.
My 10 year old mystery is technically not fully solved, but at least we get to see more of it. More after the break.
One thing right now: this compilation is essentially an AMV of various clips from promos and commercials they worked on set to the Powerpuff Girls theme, and none of the promos and commercials are shown in full. However, we do see quite a bit more of the commercial I called the Lost Blossom Shampoo Commercial, and I can say one of those words is technically wrong, as it's not just Blossom.
We get to see the setup of the commercial, with Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup looking in the mirror with their bad hair day. It would have been wrong to just have Blossom even if she would have the most impressive hairstyle for a hair product ad. I did suspect that Bubbles and Buttercup should appear as well considering there's three superhero mascots at the end of the commercial. Three Powerpuff Girls, three Showerpuff Girls.
Having Bubbles and Buttercup in this commercial also means that the almost Sailor Moon-esque hair transformation scene Blossom got also happens to Bubbles and Buttercup as well. I can at least do a quick GIF of Buttercup's.
Tumblr media
Bubbles gets one too, but the clip of Bubbles is a little too short and I couldn't really fix it like I tried to do with Buttercup. Each of the girls do get different effects. Bubbles gets a wind-like effect, possibly representing the spiky haired mascot, and Buttercup gets the combing cream, representing the long red haired watery mascot.
Now with the appearance in this compilation, this is how much of the commercial we have now.
Tumblr media
We went from just under 3 seconds to 7 seconds of what could be a 15 or 30 second commercial. I should point out that even with all of these different reels, we have exactly zero seconds of audio from this commercial, as the reels and compilation plays these clips over stock music and the English Powerpuff Girls' opening, respectively.
I did joke about what the rest of the commercial would be like, and that obviously wasn't going to be accurate. Thanks to having the intro, I can make a good summary of what it actually could be:
Professor Utonium sees the Powerpuff Girls in dis-tress, yadda yadda yadda, the Powerpuff Girls' hair gets restored to their usual glory thanks to the power of Hidratacion Intensa. Warning: baby shampoo will still not give your baby superpowers.
Much like that Seinfeld episode, the yadda yadda does hide what could be interesting: what did the Professor do? Does he pull out the brand new hair products, spawning those superhero mascots to help out Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup? Or...did he create those superhero mascots? Have I stumbled upon the most obscure Powerpuff Girls in any officially-sanctioned media before I made that article about Bittercup? There's only one way to find out, and I wish I could find that way.
One commercial I could find because Cartoon Network themselves uploaded it is this O Movimento Cartoon PSA. Yes, we know, there's already a well hated episode with this exact concept, but the live-action/animated hybrid style looks really cool. Maybe if the CW show used that, maybe it would have been greenlit! Or, maybe not.

So.. what's the deal with the cartoon network crossover? 👀
I'm glad you sent an ask I was originally going to make a separate post lol
The AU spawned from wanting to do my own take on FusionFall, which then became a fighting game, then the gameplay was reworked into an original idea and the designs of the CN characters were reworked into a comic. Since it started as a fighter that meant I had planned out separate stages for each franchise, as opposed to one uniform setting such as CN City or the popular shared school au. The fighter didn't really have a plot I just came up with the explanation that the kids are all KND (or TeenND) members and were just having a sparing match and the adult characters were somehow targets or smth. Now the current iteration is most the characters are just on the same planet and become involved in some way or another (probably the KND still). The reoccurring theme is just trying to find people like you.
The most clear idea I've had is between PPG and Ben 10; the girls are known around the world and Ben (and Gwen) feeling lonely want to meet other super hero kids their age. Grandpa Max reminds them they are still strangers and that Ben and Gwen have to keep their identities secret, but does some research into the girls and Professor Utonium and recognizes how he still value's their privacy. Max then tries to get in contact with Utonium to see if getting the kids together would even be a good idea. Utonium himself also recognizes the girls have tried to find other super hero kids to hang out with, but both he and Max spend like a year over email trying to see if they can even trust each other lmao. Eventually after the two meet up (and Max knows he can trust them with the alien thing) they agree to set up a playdate and the focus then moves to the kids as they interact.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ben and Gwen are like uhhhh aged between the original and Alien Force. Kevin is also there but I want to write a different intro for him that involves Gwen more.
The girls I've pictured as this; Blossom handles the fame best of the 3 and also is the best when it comes to the press while Buttercup and Blossom prefer to stand back. While she is good at being the ideal Powerpuff Girl, she has ambitions in the same science as her father and struggles to balance the two. Buttercup still enjoys the art of fighting the most, and goes on the most solo missions, but gets treated unfairly for her more masculine behavior and has to deal with fitting in with neither girls nor boys. Bubbles also has to deal with unfair treatment by being undermined for being the most girlish (there is no winning) but lacks a hobby like the other two (though she has some artistic merit). She may be the loneliest of the three as a result. Although they all still share a good friend in Robin. Bubbles and Buttercup get along better than they did as kids, though Blossom doesn't want them to feel like she's ignoring the two.
For the sake of simplicity the ending of KND and the G:KND storyline with Nigel being shot into space is ignored. The KND as an organization is trying to expand the TND upon seeing the teen's potential for rebellion. They lack a way to regain old KND members back, so they go out trying to recruit teens while they wait for current KND members to just age up. Sector V was selected for TND and go out and try and recruit new members. The ideas I have for them involve the awkward wait between the V members going 12 -> 13 years and transitioning between jobs. My personal hc was that in the show at one point it's Kuki and Wally at 10, Nigel at 11, then Hoagie and Abby at 12, with Kuki being the youngest and Abby the oldest. During and after this transition phase they are sent out on recruitment missions which is where the crossover stuff comes in.
Hoagie is sent to see if either Dexter or Mandark is available. Mandark is a dick but Dexter get points knocked down for getting funding from the adult-run NASA. It turns into another ego battle between Dexter and Mandark while Hoagie has to deal with the two rich kids. Dee Dee is there to fuck with all 3 of them and is the one that gets recruited. Hoagie probably also treats this like a sports movie or smth.
Tumblr media
The Time Squad sometime in the future are homeschooling Otto, they try to get him socializing with kids his age during missions but think that he should be spending time with kids from his century. Otto has been researching not just history but what happens after his time as well. He wants to meet heroes when they were his age.
Tumblr media
I have A LOT of ideas for the Eds but most of it isn't crossover material. But I like the idea of them just accidentally walking into other shows, Courage or Foster's in particular.
Tumblr media
The world in this AU is basically only limited by shows with hugely conflicting lore. That's vague but that mostly means like, the Land of Ooo conflicts with most shows. So to justify AT it's like. An alternate Earth and somehow Finn finds his way to this one and loses his shit over other humans. While he's glad to find kids like him Jake worries that Finn may prefer this world to Ooo and that he may leave. Jake is all ready to come to terms with this and Finn is like dude what we have only been here for 5 hours.
Billy and Mandy are mostly antags like in the KND crossover. I have a super vague idea for Billy somehow giving up Grim to other kids and they keep trading him for like a corn chip, and while other toon guys go on adventures with the reaper, Mandy drags Billy with her to get Grim back. At some point Numbuh 1 meets the Regular Show crew I forgot to draw and his world view is shattered. Gumball and Darwin are there. Etc.
I'd probably prioritize the first PPG and Ben 10 story as the clearest I got rn. But otherwise I'd love to see other people's crossover stuff and just old CN or cartoons in general.

None of you will ever understand Wednesday, Enid, and Bianca friend group like I do NONE OF YOU GRAHHHHH!!! (A reuploaded 🧵 from my twt)
They lay on the roof of Ophelia Hall and stare at the stars above them like once a week to talk about literally everything and nothing at the same time
They have the constellations memorized at this point and talk about them like they’re old friends
They talk about their moms a lot. And the night when Crackstone was revived. Or whatever other internal issue. It usually ends up with one of them crying. Almost always Enid. But there were times where Bianca cried. And Wednesday did once too. But no one likes mentioning it
It’s the one time a week where Bianca doesn’t have to keep her bossy, queen bee demeanor, Enid doesn’t have to keep her peppy, always happy attitude, and Wednesday doesn’t have to completely shut out the world around her
Sometimes when it’s a rainy night, they run into the forest and just chase each other for hours. When they get tired, the sit up against a tree and talk. But as soon as that energy returns, they go back to running and giggling
They consider each other closer than Yoko is with Enid, Divina is with Bianca, and Eugene is with Wednesday
They are each others biggest supporters no matter what and are willing to sacrifice themselves to make sure the others are happy
Their friendship isn’t loud to the world it’s more of a winky thing. Not that they’re hiding it, but there’s no need to announce it either. But at the same time it’s so obvious that they’re friends
They tease each other so much. It’s their love language. They’ll make comments to each other. They’ll pretend to throw each others’ stuff to make each other laugh
When fencing club is over they’ll talk for HOURS in the club room afterwards and even do some more spars if they’re up for it
Bianca was the third ever person Wednesday hugged (first being Enid, then Eugene) but it was after such a vulnerable moment that as much as she’d love to brag about it to everyone, Bianca will take it to the grave just for Wednesday
Enid loves buying them all subtle matching gifts. From plushes to bracelets to anything really, Enid will find one for each of them and theme them accordingly
She especially loves getting them powerpuff girl themed stuff. Bianca is Blossom, Enid is Bubbles, and Wednesday is Buttercup easy
If Yoko is wenclair nation president, Bianca is vice president. She loves their relationship and is honestly so happy for them. Both reached out to her for advice. She felt like a proud mother watching them realize their feelings right in front of her eyes.
Wednesday and Enid’s relationship isn’t overbearing in their friendship. Bianca is never treated like a third wheel and Wednesday and Enid have the absolute respect and comfortability being themselves around Bianca
They were the first people Bianca told about her being Poly and Pan. She was terrified and so nervous but they accepted her immediately and let her know that she could tell them anything
They’re the biggest biayokovina Stans as well
Everyone at school knows they’re the most powerful trio in the universe and they love each other so much UGH-
Ok thanks for reading goodnight feel free to add ur own ideas/headcanons abt them cuz I love them so much

Look I often don't like to dunk on shows because I am aware of the STUPENDOUS amount of work getting a series, especially animated ones, to be greenlight and made, but here is the deal.
I loathe PPG 2016. Why? There are MANY reasons I don't like it, but the major reason lies exactly at the moment of the first fight in the series. Basically when I was younger, CN in 2015 finally had released it's Portuguese version, which was a HUGE deal at the time, with that, the channel was attempting to lay it's foot on its programming, so it included a lot of dubbed reruns of old shows, including the original Powerpuff girls. Something about the original Powerpuff girls is that their fight scenes were fast paced and had impact , what does that mean? Well you could understand that the villains/antagonists were getting hurt, from sound effects, shapes ,posing and of course visible wounds.
When the 2016 version came and overtook all the ppg rerun slots, I was initially excited because wow! They had new abilities! But as soon the EP started, which I basically even alarmed the premier, It was just...off. It's not just the themes and all, that's a whole pack of worms, but basically when the first fight came, it just didn't have ANY impact, the fights felt like a glorified slap fest instead of actual punching , like it felt like the monsters weren't even feeling pain.
Now it feels weird that im putting so much emphasis on the violence, but keep in mind that PPG got it's success because how the violence was a surprise, a welcome to the point it completely destroyed the notion of girly things being boring, to the point that even boys enjoyed the show, something that the narrow minded people in suit never truly understood.
By narrowing down the impact of the violence just made the show an antithesis of itself, it takes away the "power" in Powerpuff girls. Doesn't help that the show pats itself on the back by getting rid of Ms.Bellum as if she "took the power aspect from girls" when it was completely the opposite, she was a great role model alongside Ms. Keane (is the name right? Asking this because for some reason I thought she was called Ms. Kim). They both were patient and explained concepts that the girls didn't know yet because you know...they are kids (something that the show forgets to a disturbing extent.) and on top of it all, they both HAVE authority and power in a way (and kicked ass, in Ms. Bellum part, love that fight she has with Sedusa.)
Sometimes makes me wish the show was just the intro because the 2016 intro has THE ppg spirit and energy+ punk stylization which I LOVE and the little moments of violence in the intro are fast paced and have an impact.
And hell, the excuse that "the shapes are rounder+ thin lines+ it's not hand drawn animated so it hinders the action sequences" is a WILD excuse when the show was aired alongside PLENTY of other shows with thin lines and round shapes and had WAY COOLER fight sequences. Hell, my favorite series of all time OK KO has more interesting fight scenes and more fast paced ones.
I'm really sorry to say this but seriously, I can't really bring myself to like the 2016 version principally since it made the reruns over here disappear...plus destroyed the professor's ride or die personality.

my exams aren’t over yet but i totally headcanon D dragging G and mc into a costume trio like.. the powerpuff girls (first one that popped into mind, D is definitely down to be bubbles) i have many thoughts on a halloween party!!!! (also, D makes mc and G carve a pumpkin with her. it doesn’t go well.) - 🦆 (signing off)
Hahaha that's so good! I think G would rather die than be forced into a blossom costume (I don't think they'd agree to buttercup either but it seems slightly more possible.) I think it's absolutely canon that on their first Halloween together, the orientation gang wears a themed costume and throws a party!
I feel like Sam would've wanted to go as something LOTR and I could totally imagine Sam and MC having lots of fun pranking neighbours under the guise of trick or treating every year, to the point that coming up with a new and ever more elaborate prank has become a Halloween tradition.
Carving pumpkins sounds really cute and wholesome--I could imagine the whole tennis team doing that together at Tobin's house (best design "wins" and Rayyan/Emerson obviously get wayy too competitive, Deepal's design is the silliest possible and Jacks is undisputed winner). I can see them drinking spiced mulled wine or cider after, Tobin's special recipe.
Would folks would be interested in reading these as side stories or would yall prefer I focus on IF progress? Cause right now I prioritize the latter at the expense of having absolutely zero extra content for the ko-fi folks 🤣

Kinda embarrassing that people demonize the jedi (yknow, the ultimate good guys) by falling for in universe propaganda...like how do you miss the point by that much?
Y'know... that's not even the weirdest thing to me. I already shared my thoughts about why some fans might just be biased against the Jedi from the get-go and how the Prequels not being centered on the Jedi may have contributed to that bias.
But I've seen the argument be made on Instagram that
"Bail Organa kidnapped Leia".
And like... y'know, I'm sure he and the Naberries never signed any legal documents... but is this really the hill to die on?
Bail is arguably THE most morally pure character in all of Star Wars and you're gonna burn him on this technicality? Really?! "Sure, he's hiding a girl who isn't his own from space Satan, but he didn't fill out the proper forms so fuck him"?
What's next?
Luke is guilty of animal cruelty for mutilating a Wampa without a hunting license and a license to carry a lightsaber?
Leia should be jailed because she choked Jabba but NOT in self-defense?
Wait, I got it. Chewie owes his son years of child support for being an absentee father.
But let's look past this franchise. How about Marvel:
Tumblr media
You could argue "Spider-Man is a friggin' bully, he's always berating his opponents, making jokes at their expense, and most of them usually break out and cause more death and damage simply to take revenge, and if we wanna get technical, that's all on his head."
Tumblr media
"Falcon is morally reprehensible for killing these guys in a foreign country, without a badge or any sort of legality. He should serve multiple life sentences."
Tumblr media
"Captain America is some kind of war criminal for stabbing this dude in the back, even though he clearly gave up and just wanted to live."
Tumblr media
Disney: "Mufasa is a tyrant who specifically discriminates against and hunts down a poorer class/species because *gasp* they're hungry and don't meet his standards of civilization. What an asshole, amirite?"
Tumblr media
Naruto: "Itachi Uchiha is an ego-driven psycho who murdered his whole clan, (a clan who had been slandered and discriminated against by a fascist government, and literally segregated to one single neighborhood) then inflicted MASSIVE psychological and emotional damage on his brother, aged 11, who went on to waste his teen years on a fruitless quest for revenge because Itachi was too much of a coward to finish the job."
Tumblr media
Dragon Ball: "The Z warriors are responsible for every earthling suffering from an onslaught of PTSD (because you can't tell me that everybody being slaughtered by [insert villain here], seeing heaven, settling into heaven and waking up in a crater alongside everybody you saw die before you, over and over for decades, won't leave a mark)."
Hell, you could argue "the Powerpuff Girls are child soldiers."
These are all very uncharitable views, stated in very bad faith.
And we know this because the narrative never portrays these points as problems. So we're not meant to see these characters this way.
You know why? Because it's fiction.
In the specific case of Star Wars, it's a fairy tale in space, it's mythology reinvented. The more detailed real-world logic you apply to it, the further away you get from the point.
It's meant to make you feel emotions and ponder on themes, first and foremost.
If you're wondering about how many taxes Han Solo needs to pay every year and to how many planetary governments, then either the film isn't doing its job right, or you're missing the point.
Hell, it's not just "missing" the point in some of these cases, it's seeing it and fucking Tokyo Drifting around the point until it becomes a speck in your rear-view mirror.

I have to ask out of curiosity, on the TVTropes wiki page, the Miraculous Ladybug page says that the show is a Magical Girl/Superhero genre hybrid of sorts. If you believe that is the case, since I believe it might be just speculation, would that change or impact what the rules can be established or removed in either of these genres?
The reason why I made the essay with Magical Girls at its focus - was simply because I’m more well versed in Magical Girl stories than super heroes. As well as the fact that it hurt me deeply as a fan of that genre.
But let it be known. Miraculous Ladybug suck ass as a Superhero story too.
Tumblr media
For mostly the same reasons as I stated in the Magical Girl Analysis because…
Well, Magical Girls ARE superheroes.
Like, sexism has sort of wrapped peoples’ idea of what Magical Girls are but despite all the frills and cuteness - these are girls that fight evil on a daily with super powers and secret identities.
You see, Japan and the USA have very different ways of marketing their animated show for children. Japan has a very gendered demographic, you have Shoujo and you have Shounen. They’re aimed for different audiences. While boys have stuff like Kamen Raiden and Super Seitan, girls have Pretty Cure. They serve the exact same purpose they’re just - gendered differently.
The USA has…also! Gender. Just. One.
It’s supposed a nebulous “kids” with mass appeal, aka unisex of sorts…? But no, really it’s just boys. And maybe girls to get them to buy toys.
When it comes to superheroes in particular, that’s the main difference.
It’s not a Magical Girl with Superhero thing, but American Superhero for girls with Japanese Superhero for girls.
The real issue MLB has when it tries to shoehorn in the Superhero theme is that…it sorta sucks?
Like, if it’s lagging behind Magical Girl adjacent takes in the western hemisphere, it’s outright losing in the SuperHero department.
While Anime has been sort of mainstream for the last 20 or so years (maybe less), which leads to maybe 15 years worth of Magical Girl takes in western cartoons…
There’s almost a century worth of Superheroes before MLB.
Everything that could have been done by MLB was done by superhero stories at least in the 1970’s.
Even the idea of “girls superhero” is something seen before. Like, we have the powerpuff girls, we have wordgirl, we have Kim Possible, DC superhero girls, totally spies…
It’s not a new concept. In fact, superheroes are such a common concept that blockbuster movies are running out of ideas. So they’re throwing everything they can at the board to see what sticks, creating something so Goddamned convoluted no one has the brain energy left to keep up with it.
Sounds familiar?
It’s obvious that the creative team took heavy inspiration from magical girls to make their superhero story. In their head, and at surface level, this makes sense.
BUT as I’ve stated above, there’s a cultural difference between Magical Girls and Superheroes each baked into the identity of each genre.
This is the rough equivalent of trying to mix English Mythology with Japanese Mythology, knowing only about yokai and fairies in regards to each…if you know nothing it sorta makes sense but if you KNOW
Then it’s total BS
Which by the way, American and Japanaese superheroes mixed in, with Chinese culture as powers made by a French guy who knows next to nothing about any of these cultures…
Do you get why I keep calling Thomas’ weird attitudes towards his project a “fetishization”? It’s because it is.
To summarize, even if you take this show as more of a Superhero story, it still sucks. My points would (for the most part) still stand. With the added caviar that it’s not only shameful for its lack of interest in its own genre - but the fact that every single person and their mother would see the story as 100x more uninspired. Because at least 5 other comics from 70s would have done smth similar with either powers or identities.
The only redeeming quality it had was it target towards little girls and doing so by borrowing the Magical girl aesthetic.
Which it fucking spat on and I’m still pissed about it.
In regards, and trying to answer your question - it’s complicated.
This would essentially be a massive cultural exchange challenge.
For example, the reason why superheroes in the USA have powers given to them as failed experiments and radioactive waste, while Japan has magic or aliens… is very much tied to their history and cultural identity.
The values that each have reflect on their superheroes too - American Superheroes may value individualism more than Japanese superheroes do.
And again, there’s the whole gendered thing. Superheroes stories in the USA tend to lean more gender neutral for mass appeal, Japanese superheroes are very heavily coded as in what they’re meant for. (Cough the reason why there’s so much queer subtext in magical girl stories cough)
So, asking the question “what rules should it make so that it’s a hybrid between these two genres”, while a valid one, I’m not sure I can be the one to answer it.
Because it depends. On what the creator saw, what they wanted, what they intended to say by mixing these two.
This is not something you ask AFTER you’ve your show. These are the questions you ask BEFORE it.
To properly create a hybrid, you ought to have a vision. And take parts of each to create what you wanted to say.
MLB borrows (or should I say steal?) aesthetics and surface level aspects of both genres. It broke as many American superhero rules as it did magical girl ones.
In specific, The Alger Ego and Theme stands as something it fucked over in BOTH. But it also failed superheroes. In what way, I really wouldn’t be able to tell.
I’m not a fan of superheroes. I don’t know why people like them, I don’t know why they watch them. I have a mild understanding of them but trying to tell you in the same depth as I did in the Magical Girl Essay what exactly they did wrong…would be an impossible task to me.
But if Thomas thinks that we, the magical girl fans, are mean to him…oh boy. Wait till he tells a Marvel Stan he thinks he’s made the best superhero story ever.
I would pay money for that

idk you guys i think you may just not have a full grasp of the complexities of getting audiences to watch movies
i have seen a lot of posts reading some variation on "studios are going to learn from barbenheimer to release two DIFFERENT movies concurrently when they should be learning to release two GOOD movies," a take i find absolutely infuriating. like, just to begin with, people don't often... choose to make bad movies. movies are really really hard to make, and it's famously impossible to know whether anyone will like the damn thing until it's already basically done. if you're a studio exec and you're planning your slate for next year, do you go with the weird experimental movie made by an up-and-coming with few-to-no features under their belt? sometimes you end up with a gem, but at least as often it flops and ends up costing you a bunch of money. what about established directors who regularly give you good stuff? sometimes nolan will give you his most well-received work since the batman stuff, and sometimes olivia wilde will turn in don't worry darling and audiences will turn their noses up. "make good movies" is not actionable advice.
not that being a good movie is actually any guarantee people will see it. in my opinion, the best movie released so far this year is past lives, and i'm not alone in that. the reviews are unanimously glowing, the letterboxd for it is basically all overwhelming praise. and that movie made barely 10mil. how much have you heard anyone talking about that movie? how many people do you know who've seen it? it wasn't an especially limited release, it's probably still showing at your local amc.
now how many people do you know who have seen the dungeons and dragons movie?
that's not a dig on the d&d movie, i like the d&d movie! i'm just saying, the truth is, there are few sure bets in this business. the success of a movie is a combination of its quality, its marketing, pure dumb luck, and yes, i'm sorry, star power and brand recognition.
we've all seen and made a thousand posts about how hollywood has no new ideas. complaining about reboots and sequels has been a stale observation for decades. but i also haven't seen the "no sequels or reboots" crowd get as excited any anything this year as they have about across the spider-verse and barbie. two excellent movies! which, be really honest with yourself, you would have been less likely to have seen if you weren't already excited about the property! barbenheimer isn't just two good movies. it's two good movies audience members already have reference points for.
i think this is a really human reaction. there is so much media at this point in history, constantly competing for your attention, and you can't possibly pay attention to it. so, as a heuristic, you look for reference points. i don't pay attention to AAA video games in general, but you bet your ass that when they announce the last of us part 3 i'm going to take notice, because i connected so strongly with the second one, but if they released basically the same game with a different name i might not ever hear about it.
there's that post where craig mccraken says he pitched cartoon network like seventeen original shows and they rejected everything until he suggested a powerpuff girls reboot, and everyone went "wow, the horrible studio execs are stifling creativity," and i just... i mean, are you really convinced you would watch those original shows? that your cousins would? that caitlin, a 32 year old single mom in michigan would put that on for her kids?
this isn't me saying "i don't care if movies are good" or "i'm glad they make so many sequels and reboots." this is me saying "you are not immune to branding" and "audiences have some share of responsibility for how things are" and "find a way to seek out media you're less familiar with."
i do that by seeing a movie in theaters once a week, but you can do it by giving yourself themed prompts when deciding what to watch, picking an album of the week, joining a book or movie club, or just asking friends for recommendations.
there is so so much out there that is exactly up your alley, that is weird and different and fresh, but the niche stuff won't come to you. you have to find it.

Explaining my Gorillaz birthday illustrations
💙 23rd May, 2-D's Birthday🎂
Tumblr media
Every fan knows that the first to have a birthday is 2-D and being the first is the one who defines the theme of the other birthday illustrations of the others, so I decided that my inspiration would be the albums whose story focuses on a member of the band plus the added bonus of using photographs of models whose aesthetic or theme of said portrait you can associate with each member.
🖼 Reference photo:
Tumblr media
Boys Undone | Metal Magazine A fashion story by Sophie Mayanne & Lee Trigg for metalmagazine.eu
I saw the photograph and immediately thought of 2-D: perhaps it was the way the young man picks his nose with his finger (something Stu would do or has done at some point), the innocence his face conveys, or how the model looks somewhat misaligned. Whatever it was, this was the photograph that was used as a reference.
💽 Phase and Album: Phase 5, The Now Now (2018)
Tumblr media
The Now Now (2018)
The Now Now was the band's fifth album and the story of which focused more on 2-D, taking the position as the leader of the band while Murdoc is in jail, the latter being replaced by Ace, a member of the Gangrene Gang in the mythical cartoon 'The Powerpuff Girls' by Craig McCracken.
It was more than obvious the album and the "style" of art that he would use for it. Something that I really liked about this phase is that the vast majority of the art used a curious color palette: blues and pinks in neon tones that were combined with a monochrome style in the characters (mostly black and white).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I did my best to replicate, completely failing in blue (the background is more aquamarine 😅) but I mostly respected the characteristic color palette of that phase. Doing this job reminded me a bit of the old jobs I used to do during my years as students in Visual Arts. Perhaps the only thing that I don't quite like is the hand whose size is much larger than the face and the effect of the fur on the jacket being what I like the most about my illustration.
🧡 3rd June, Russel's Birthday🎂
Tumblr media
The most underrated member not only by fans but also by the creators themselves. I feel somewhat sorry for Russel since from the first 3 phases he had a setback from which he has currently not been able to get out of there 😔.
He's the one who draws the least (mostly for fear that the Social Justice Warriors will come and throw me a bard), but when I do, he's the one who I enjoy doing it the most. Maybe it's 'cause his design is a challenge for me and takes me out of my comfort zone, the final result of my illustrations where he is the protagonist makes me end up with a smile on my face 😊.
🖼 Reference photo:
Tumblr media
People - Photos A model is backstage at the Ricardo Seco fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014 at Eyebeam Studio on September 8, 2013 in New York City.
Maybe when I think of Russell I don't picture him smoking since it's more common to see that in 2-D and Murdoc. But the few times Jamie draws him smoking is with a cigar, more elegant compared to his other two companions. The decision of said photo wasn't only 'cause the model is Afro-descendant but 'cause I wanted to challenge me by painting the smoke of the cigarette. Perhaps the model's clothing was another reason for him to wear this photograph: it's too laid back style as is Russell's personality.
💽 Phase and Album: Phase 1, Gorillaz (2001)
Tumblr media
Gorillaz (2001)
The first album, Gorillaz and clearly the first phase is (mostly) focused on Russell and his ability to see and be possessed by ghosts, especially the ghost Del Tha Ghost Rapper.
It's the phase whose art style screams 2000's: it has that rebellious street style that is identifiable with people who like skateboarding, punk rock, rap or hip hop or street vibes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I confess that it was hard for me to transfer to the illustration and more in the fact of the color palette, so I decided to guide myself by the cover of the eponymous album: a green military tone filter. Unfortunately, by combining that ocher color with the burnt sienna of the shirt and giving it an olive green "wash", it gives more of an air to the color palette of the Plastic Beach sketches (it's too warm and that's why it gives me those vibes ). I doubt that adding the earring to his ear would save the concept, maybe I should have looked for another reference photograph... despite that, I really like it and I consider the smoke I painted acceptable.
💚 6th June, Murdoc's Birthday🎂
Tumblr media
Oh, Murdoc. This bastard whose birthday is 3 days after Russell and whose proximity drives me crazy 'cause he's usually my least favorite illustration. The relationship I've with this character is easily described in this image:
Tumblr media
And I could skip his illustration, BUT that wouldn't be fair so I tried to summon my will to draw him.
🖼 Reference photo:
Tumblr media
Peter DeVito on Twitter “My grandma turns 85 on Monday so we shot this fun birthday concept. *I also got some photos of her without the hats but I’m still working on them and we’re tryna shoot a few more birthday concepts so keep an eye out for those:)”
Murdoc is a decrepit old man, isn't he? So under that logic I had to use a reference from an older person. It wasn't easy since there is usually a lot of photography of young models or people in their 30s and/or 40s. It was a somewhat complicated search 'cause I couldn't find a photograph of a model that screamed Murdoc F. Niccals and, to be honest, I was resigning... UNTIL I found the right one.
The moment I found the reference PHOTOGRAPH I knew it was something Murdc could do: wear various colorful birthday hats and use a birthday candle as a cigarette allegorying that as each birthday passes, our existence will slowly consume away (that or I'm just seeing things where I'm not). And yes, my idea was also to add the hand that is holding said birthday candle, as a way of following a pattern (two illustrations showing only the face and two showing one of his hands) and that this will "complement" with that of 2-D 'cause you already know: they have an insane dependent relationship that they have for each other (and by relationship I not only reduce it to a romantic one, as certain fans usually do 🙄, but also having a relationship can be work, friendship or relative).
💽 Phase and Album: Phase 3, Plastic Beach (2010)
Tumblr media
Plastic Beach (2010)
I confess that phase 3, that is, the Plastic Beach album is my favorite of all and I dare say that it is THE BEST.
Personally, it's the one that I enjoy the most, both 'cause of the story behind the virtual band and the real one. What it aimed to be and that due to various obstacles we only obtained 15% of what was planned (maybe less) , in addition to the load of the socio-environmental message that the album pointed to and the ART of the different covers it had (DUDE! They had a scale model of the island for the cover and some visuals). The truth is that I feel that it is a super complete album and different from what they did in the past and what they do now, it was the album that defined the before and after of Gorillaz music.
And I could make a testament to why it's a TOO good album, but I'd better leave you these two videos where the music on the album is deepened and analyzed (they're in Spanish, but I think you can activate the 'Automatic translation' option in the subtitles)
youtube
youtube
It's quite curious how this phase has an extremely warm color palette both in its official arts, album cover and sketches when almost the vast majority of the musical themes border on the depressive or with shades of desolation , perhaps it is Murdoc openly expressing how he feels about the possibility of being alone or dying alone ('cause according to the lore of the band, all the songs are written by him) seasoned with the guilt he feels about the accident that caused the "death" of Noddle in 'El Mañana'.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ocher yellows, reddish or purple tones, and green are those colors that are repeated, therefore, that was the color palette that I used for my illustration. My intention was to make it look like the sketches that Jamie did during those years and trying to respect that essence of being a watercolor (in fact, all the illustrations are painted with watercolor).
❤ 31st October, Noodle's Birthday🎂
Tumblr media
And last but not least, we have our beloved Noodle . Since she is the last to have her birthday, my rest time is extensive and I can think much better about what I should do, however it's also usually somewhat problematic 'cause I trust myself and (generally) I usually do her illustration the day before or the day of his birthday 😅, but it ends up being the one I like the most of the four.
🖼 Reference photo:
Tumblr media
@lyiee on Instagram Bạn có biết tại sao khi nhìn ảnh này tim bạn bị đập nhanh không? Oi bạn ơi tại vì bạn kochoido đấy bạn ạ 🌚
With Noodle it's always easier to get a reference image or photograph.
I had already selected the photograph for months and I chose her not only 'cause the model is of Asian descent but 'cause from phase 2, Noodle shows an interest in fashion (something that continues to be maintained) and the use of a helmet is super characteristic of her that she could not let it go.
💽 Phase and Album: Phase 2, Demon Days (2005)
Tumblr media
Demon Days (2005)
Demon Days it's Noodle's album, it's the album that makes possible the return of the band and initiates this stage of experimentation and it's the favorite of all G-fandom.
It is darker, more raw... so much so that it is reflected a lot in the art.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Color palette with such dark tones, overly saturated shadows and the characters are no longer so geometric, but look uncomfortably more detailed. They look gloomy and dirty and go with the gothic and emo vibe of those years.
But did I respect that essence? The truth is that I think not 'cause I only base myself on the color that Noodle presents on the album cover: green. And although that color is often seen in some official art from that phase, it's not as... colorful as the one in my illustration.
Her watercolor has more of a Phase 1 inspired vibe and even though it has black shadows, they aren't saturated enough as they should be. Still my favorite illustration of the four.
And so I end this post 😬. I hope you liked reading it and I appreciate the gesture 'cause I don't usually share the reason for my illustrations very much. I'll probably do it another time.

I completely forgot to link to this, but Craig McCracken did an interview last month because of the Powerpuff Girls' 25th anniversary.
He believes girls drew great empowerment from seeing not only the Powerpuff Girls' skills in fighting crime, both with power and wit, but that they were appreciated and embraced in Townsville.
The two episodes he points out that really show the Powerpuff Girls' themes: Bubblevicious and Beat Your Greens.
He recalls the girders looking like crosses being the reason why See Me Feel Me Gnomey never aired in the US.
