Redman Collaborates With The Potatohead People On Last Nite

Redman and The Potatohead People (Nick Wisdom and AstroLogical) have collaborated on the single "Last Nite." The New Jersey veteran tells the tale of a night of pleasure atop jazzy beats with horn stabs and a lazy Rhodes keyboard. The song will be on the Vancouver production duo's fourth album, Eat Your Heart Out. Redman's fiery flow rides the warmth of the analog sound with his usual humor and candidness. T3, Frank Nitt, and Shafiq Husayn are some of the guest artists on EYHO. The Producers describe the next album as  "an album about our most connected human emotion, the subject of eons of songs written and eons of songs to-be written: love & the ways it comes into play in our lives."  Eat Your Heart Out will be released on May 24th on Bastard Jazz Recordings and can be pre-ordered now.

Something about teaming up with Scar in the Life series makes Grian build. Monopoly Mountain and the Red Velvet Keep are detailed and attractive builds made of limited resources with a great sense of place and story. The Southlands is a cobblestone monstrosity that even Grian is laughingly embarrassed about. Bread Bridge is hilarious, but also the worst aesthetic crime since the Mr Potatohead Box.

It’s not even that Scar helps him. Grian builds Monopoly Mountain and the Keep by himself. Scar gets him resources, sure, but mainly he’s corralling pandas, scamming people out of their underwear, and chasing this bee on a lead. He comes back when it's all over: Looks great, Grian! I love it. Amazing.

So we’re left with: something about being teamed up with Scar, one of the most ambitious and artistic builders in Minecraft, makes Grian desperately try to make something beautiful even though he knows - they all know - it’s all going to be ruined in the end.

Fic Fest FAQs!

Welcome to the official blog for the first Transformers Kinkfest!

This promptfest will be running for two weeks from 17 - 31 October 2024, with daily prompts (based on your submissions). The list of prompts will be released in August to give you time to write/draw/create - then, once the fest starts, share your creations for each day's prompt!

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN 18+ EVENT.

What kind of prompts will these be?

Each prompt on the main list will be a Transformers-specific kink. There will also be an alternative list with broader prompts (like, say, bondage). Feel free to pick from either list or combine the two, and feel free to make different decisions on different days - up to you!

As for what Transformers-specific kink means: basically, these are kinks that rely on/take advantage of Transformers being Transformers. These can include kinks that depend on Transformer physiology, like fuel-siphoning or alt mode sex, but they can also depend on Transformer culture, like faction roleplay. (Those have all been suggestions to date, btw. :))

What if I have a prompt idea but I don't know what the kink would be called?

Totally okay! We're flying without a star chart here - it's not like even the estimable TF Wiki has a list of Transformers kinks :D. Describe it as best you can, and I will try and sum it up for the list as best I can. There will probably need to be some explanatory notes to the prompt list...

How do I suggest a prompt?

Send an ask with your prompt idea. I can't guarantee that every idea will be included - it will depend on how many we receive, and I'll also use my discretion when it comes to picking prompts.

Just to keep things organised, please send your ideas here to @transformerskinkfest. (However, I will also include any that end up getting sent to the mod's blog at @decepticonsensual.)

Please keep in mind that the prompt is just the kink. Don't bother to include a specific pairing or a specific continuity, as these will not be part of the prompt list. (If you did include these things in an ask you submitted, that's okay, but I'm only going to take the kink idea part of the ask.) Speaking of -

What characters/continuities can I create for?

Anything under the Transformers umbrella! That includes shows, films, comics, games, novels, and that Optimus Prime Potatohead, which is actually canon. We live in an age of marvels.

What if I can't create something for every day?

No worries! Create as much as you want to. If you contribute something for a single day's prompt, that's awesome, and if you do it for every day, that's also awesome.

Transmute anxiety into excitement of the future regarding your home and money. Anxiety can be viewed as fear of not knowing what is coming next and excitement can be viewed as the joy of not knowing what is coming next.

It seems that strength has been a focus for the body. Thinking about all the different ways your body shows up for you every single day , there are no real rest days for the body(even in sleep your body is in repair mode). "Everywhere you go ...there you are". You only get one body! Ways to take care of the one you have been recently brought to your attention either by health challenges or just being inspired to do better by seeing someone else health improve or be challenged. Getting sunlight and or vitamin D may be able to help you feel less tension in your physical body. Stretching at the beginning and end of your day could be beneficial. Waking up slowly can also be helpful to start your day on a balanced and peaceful note. Waking up and immediately going to work or mental processing can be setting the tone for the rest of your day feel rushed and hectic. The body is a machine that your are in charge of and have more creative control than you think! Pulling from the song that was shuffled flight 99 mentions in the lyrics let's start fresh towards the end of the song.

Your Spiritual body want to feel included! There may be tension surrounding your emotions and how you interact with them. The energy I am picking up on is inner self discovery of some sorts. Realizing that there is no way around spiritual work that no one can do for you. You may have been wanting to feel like you have more control over your emotions but your emotions aren't meant for you to control or avoid, they are what you spirit is experiencing in this human experience. Your emotions can be managed but only if you are willing to feel them and not attach them to your identity. Careful what you claim in your speech with phrases that start with " I AM". For example instead of saying "I am sad" try using " I feel sad" that way you are declaring that you are then feeling and you are NOT your feelings. Trusting your own walk with God or the universe or how ever you connect to the part of yourself that is not physical or mental, get curious. Consuming more than you are creating can possibly cause tension, try creating more, consuming less .

liet: pan. huge fucking romantic. @doomspiral once described him as a cis man who could be nb but isn't and yeah. he feels kinda masc relative to the guys he spends a lot of time with but is way more fem than most people realize (he does use 3 in 1 bodywash/shampoo/conditioner tho)

poland: gay af, also demi af but he's only recently realized that's a factor and not just like. catholic guilt. i've said before somewhere he mostly uses masc pronouns because like. it's hard not to in polish (since it's one of those languages where like every part of the sentence is gendered) and has no desire to do hrt or anything, but don't be fooled he is not cis.

prussia: bi, and has a harder time coming to terms with his attraction to women than his attraction to men. painfully cis.

belarus: vaguely biromantic, kinky ace who likes to have sex for the drama of being a domme. cis woman in a "sure why not" way

russia: extremely gay, possibly even rivals feliks here. cis but with trans vibes (i mean this as a compliment)

germany: gay but thinks he can't rule out being bi because never having felt attraction to a woman doesn't mean he never will, right? almost as painfully cis as his brother.

canada: bi, cis on a technicality. not aspec but not not aspec.

france: obviously pan, cis but regularly fantasizes about being able to swap body parts mr potatohead style, impossible to tell if this is in a Transgender way or just a "this man wants to experience all the variety physically possible in the bedroom" way (probably a bit of both)
