Ohhh I'm so glad I finally get to draw to Ballad of the Walking Machines!! This one has been rattling around in my head since last year's wrapped drawings, but I was never able to put any of my thoughts onto paper!

On Bdubs' playlist, this song has always stuck to me as a representation of the other side of all of the horrors Etho's undergone over the course of Season 8, set during Destruction as Bdubs waits outside of the lab for what's supposed to be a relative simple diagnostic appointment, so he was told. As Bdubs, completely unaware than anything was even wrong with Etho until the start of the season, waits with baited breath to hear if his friend is okay, he's remind of their rough beginnings and how far he's come, both as a person and as Etho's friend. The tension that had come from a place of fear now comes from a desperate hope that Etho will be okay, and Ballad of the Walking Machines really well represents the juxtaposition between Bdubs' original fears of androids and his fear and hope in the present day that his dear friend will be okay.

Opportunist is such a massive girl failure to me for a number of reasons. None of his schemes ever seem to pan out correctly to start with, try to backstab witch up the stairs? You also break your back. Butter up Wraith? She's not impressed. His biggest failure is without a doubt completely missing PatD's heart when he goes in for the kill. I'm just- dude. It wasn't even a quick time event, it was just an event. Nobody was rushing you, there's a damn X for you to aim at and you failed, spectacularly. Harsh even socks him in the jaw for it.

My Sunday Reset Routine

1. Sleep in that way I can feel rested for the day ahead of me!

2. Get out of bed to go make myself some tea/hot cocoa and drink water while getting my other drink ready (I always start my days with 1-2 glasses of water)

3. Go brush my teeth, brush my hair, and make my bed

4. Shower, do my skincare routine and get myself ready for the day

5. I either deep clean my room and bathroom or do some general cleaning and picking up

6. Open my windows to let some fresh air in, and then light a candle or turn on my wax warmer

7. Paint or draw with some music playing

8. Watch a couple episodes of a show or watch a movie

9. Do my nighttime skincare routine and shower again

10. Paint nails

11. Read 1-3 chapters of a book

12. Turn off my phone 1 hour before bed to start winding down

13. Pick outfit for the next day

14. Plan my week in my yearly planner

15. Go to sleep

(Sometimes I do other things but this is my basis for my Sunday reset routine)
