One of my favorite things about Leo’s portals is the fact that they’re tangible.

He can throw those like frisbees and hit people with them like?? The boys’ abilities are so fun and magical and even sci-fi-esque but this aspect of Leo’s portals are so distinctly a Looney Tunes flavor of cartoon-y that I absolutely adore.

And sure this aspect of the portals can be used for fighting, but moreover the sheer amount of visual gags this does and can create is infinite.

The cat rolls over, exposing her now-rotund belly. There she sees phantom hands, evidence of her leader’s deft touch on the world, somewhere they wouldn’t be without that incident on the bridge all those years ago. Maybe the cat would still be skin and bones without what Aigis had done. Maybe that makes up for it, a little, in a way she never can herself with her gunpowder-stained fingers. What? says the cat with a flick of her ear when Aigis has been silent too long. She has been staring. The cat doesn’t seem to mind as much as people do, but her gaze snaps away in panicked reflex regardless. “Can you tell me what it means to live, cat?” she says, returning to protocol because anything else seems too difficult. Eat, answers the cat easily. Or be eaten.

On a second look her wand is different too, so now I think i want to go on a hunt to see if any of the other shadow magical girls in portable are different

I see a lot of love for infodumping as an autism bonding activity, and that’s wonderful of course but I think we also need to acknowledge the sheer joy of showing each other your collections. Literally nothing makes me happier than a friend showing off their hoards of trinkets and telling me the lore about each thing.

Laura and little May had their first day out the other day!! Since their story starts when their parents have passed, and they're on their way to find Laura's mysterious father, in hopes that he can take them in

So they're a rather ideal pair to take with me on the bus for pictures ^^

That, and May loves all the traveling! At least, for now she does ^^ They've got a long way to go, to find their new home...
