Kingdom Hearts 3 - The Caribbean

#kingdom hearts 3 #kh3 #the caribbean #scenery #my gif #my favorite world in the game #it's so beautifully crafted and fun to explore #they did such a good job with port royal i'm no expert on the movies but i'm sure it's a super faithful recreation #there are so many lush islands to find with caves full of treasure. it's like a real pirate adventure #i'm glad that we're able to dive into the water because i really like underwater scenery and being able to freely swim around #i love sora's pirate outfit and that he gets a ship of his own to sail. he has such a blast in this world #the banter between sora donald goofy and jack while on the ship is a lot of fun too #big fan of how they integrated the organization's search for the black box with the chest that contains davy jones's heart #gotta love when the main story ties into the plot of a disney movie #the final cutscenes in this world are insane and so well rendered that they're almost indistinguishable from the movie #i sent screenshots to friends asking if they could tell the difference and they couldn't #not that i'm complaining because it really elevated the experience but why did they go so hard

Law novel sequel's title will be "Novel Law: The Hour of Kikoku" (Kikoku no Toki).

... or 'The Time of Kikoku', 'Hour' just sounded catchier.

It's going to be a multichaptered spinoff, the upcoming magazine doesn't conclude the story. Here's an update from the official website.

Seems it's the story behind Law acquiring his sword? Sakagami Shusei (Novel Law author) has shared some initial thoughts (the first tweet was before the title revelation).

Felt the last one 🤝

Once again, Oda's involvement is expected to be minimum. It's almost entirely written by Sakagami Shusei, like its prequel.

Let's hope we finally get to know the names of the other members of the Heart pirates!

Nishimura Kinu's sketch seems to hint at Law's interaction with Hakugan, maybe we'll get to know how he got recruited.

#putting my ramblings in the tags because that’s the only way i know how to write something semi cohesive #but!! im obsessed with the way the arrangement is almost the same #both shirase and dazai in the middle. behind them the people they’re leading #but shirase (the one chuuya should’ve been able to trust) is pointing a gun at him #and not only shirase all the sheep are holding weapons #plus all the faceless GSS men staring chuuya down as well #and then you have dazai and the port mafia #same arrangement but they’re not holding any weapons #despite the way they should be his enemies they’re not posing any immediate threat #also!! something i just thought about but i do believe there’s something to be said about how dazai is also looking down on chuuya #he is the one holding the power right now #but he is not standing and instead crouching down #if he wasn’t on an elevated position (which is arguably his position in the mafia) he would be on the same level as chuuya #but he is offering chuuya to get on the same level as him by joining the mafia!!!#finally giving him the chance to be somewhere people will treat him as an equal #and of course eventually becoming dazais partner and true equal #man. head in hands media analysis is my passion. or something like that #bungou stray dogs #bsd spoilers #bsd fifteen #bsd fifteen spoilers #bsd chuuya #bsd dazai #soukoku

Since we’re on the topic of video games, im tired of these fucking remakes. Ive said it before but i’ll say it again each time. These companies dont wanna invest in an actually good remaster or port and would rather waste their time with these remakes bcuz “ooh look how shiny and better the graphics look!!1!1!1” often times it has an empty feeling because everything has to be ultra realism super 6000. Its gotten so bad that now regular gamers are starting to gaslight you into playing or enjoying them. So much has been lost artistically, (like the cool UI designs) that it’s now considered “juvenile” and that i need to “grow up” and “accept it” 😂

#Being genuine and having atmosphere/lore/small details surrounding the game does a lot more.#And can we pls have built in emulators or #backwards combatibility on these newer consoles? if ur able to do all this other shit you can give us an official emulator #And ik that sometimes the developers have actually lost certain files data assets etc within the OG games that cannot be regained #But you can make an entire remake no problem🙄 it be feeling like they are getting told by higher ups “do it or else”#Im gen z and idk if its my gen or a combination of everyone regardless of age wanting these remakes all of a sudden #Bcuz i swear i remember most ppl disliked or didnt care abt them now everyone is on board with it???#No game after the year 1999 should have a remake. A rerelease or remaster is fine. But a remake? Do we really need that…#Also game design used to be cute and fun. Whatever happened to that? I think about an alternate world where it's pm!boss Chuuya sometimes and then I get sad because he'd be so stressed out taking on that role. He already hates having to deal with the death and burial of his own subordinates in the original world, but as boss he'd be constantly reminded with another death, one right after another. So many names and people that might not immediately come to mind because of how large the Port Mafia is, but he'd be damned if he didn't at least remember the person as they were in death rather than as another number, another statistic.

Dazai as his underboss, wondering where it all went wrong in this timeline, but doing his best to take the stress off even though he sucks at it because he doesn't understand the sentimentality when death is a regular fact of life when you work for the mafia.

Chuuya wouldn't let the position get to him, at least not outwardly, but he'd just take the stress out on himself in covert ways. A little more smoking. A lot less sleep. Having to make some of the hardest, worst decisions of his life like: to let this one person die to save many citizens, obviously knowing what the right answer is, but doesn't mean it gets any easier to make.

reanimated a scene from "ophelia", our 48 hour film I did with my calarts peers. I was in charge of the brief underwater scene and wanted to add a bit of polish to it for my demo reel.

gonna be real i hadn't played okami in like. months. not bc i didn't like it (i LOVE it) but that's just how i am with games, i just cycle thru hyperfixating on them on loop, it's went it takes me so long to finish any semi-long game.

but anyway that announcement of the sequel made me be like OH SHIT OKAMI I LOVE OKAMI I SHOULD FINISH THAT kicking me right out of my acnl fixation and ive been playing it any chance i fet the past few days fkdkek i just got to the dragon palace! not sure how much of the game is left but i heard the rugpull after orochi might not be the only one so... we'll see.

#chris doodles #it's been so long since i've been able to dm a campaign and i'm having so much fun #we're only on session 2 but everyone's having a great time #so the doodle guys in order:#we've got azalea--a tiefling mage with 3 giant anglerbeast pets #(anglerbeasts are a custom creature i made taking displacerbeasts and adding a cool anglerfish bobble to the end of one of their tentacles)#(and if a player fails a saving throw they can get hypnotized by the bobble and will attack their fellow players for one turn)#next is adira--half-orc lady in charge of the beast's den #which is a monster/creature bounty sector of the silverhands mercenaries #a group of sellswords that run the majority of the security of the port town the party is in.#next is nakris--the dragonborn who hired the party!#an ancient artifact of his people #the amulet of the ironscale #was “accquired” (stolen) by a museum curator #he's been trying to do all the legal ways to get this ancient item back #but it hasnt worked so he's resorting to Crime and hiring the party to steal it back #which means i get to plan a heiiiiiiiiiiiiist mission!!!#its been so so fun #OH AND FINALLY the last one is reinheart!#who is one of our pcs!#a kalashstar war cleric #i plan to draw the other pcs eventually :]
