interesting, I’ll have to check it out since I’ve tested it before and had no issues. Pups+ actually does very little to the AI, really only eating food and rotundpup exhaustion
my beautiful slugpup who does not exist
he is gone. he is a ghost. he also froze my game. it's specifically with pups+ enabled. he's a rivpup. any other slugpup works just fine, but this specific slugpup will break my game and softlock it if i shelter with it.
it is a Me issue. this does not happen to anyone else for some voidforsaken reason apparently. except for my friend whos game it just Crashes immediately.
this is him by the way he's completely fine in arena. i've validated my game files and he's still broken

I'm so glad everyone is enjoying Pups+! I started making Pups+ on September 29th, 2023. It was my introduction into modding, and now a little over three months later it's on the front page! I'm busy fixing post-release bugs but soon I can start up on adding new features. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED ME IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUPS+!

fun slugpup fact:
slugpups have the functionality for hearing noises in game, except the actual implimentation of this is completely blank.
in a future update of Pups+ I want to address this, as well as other unfinished parts of slugpups. right now I am focusing on getting the variants completed as well as a few other new behaviors and fixes for slugpups!

Pups+ is now updated for v1.9.15! Along with the port, there is a new update that includes various bugfixes, changes to how slugpup variants personalities and stats are affected, and new remix options such as disabling Rotundpup on back exhaustion and allowing Tundrapups to throw spears at a reduced damage! This update also includes an outdated version for v.1.9.07b for those who are still downpatching, it should automatically be detected if you are on that version.

will pups+ also improve pup AI in the future if its possible? sadly the better pup AI mod is no longer being updated
I do wanna improve slugpup AI with Pups+, I've been doing testing with allowing them to swim underwater and making jumps. Stuff like that will probably take a while to do since, well..
they aren't very good at it. but some minor changes like making them not get stuck at cross-pipes will come soon
