AHHH! OKAY. "Relationship" is interpreted loosely here and uhhh listen, I apparently just want to make Big's life a little sadder. Sorry.

The first time it happens is the day after Porsche accidentally interrupts Kinn and his escort, courtesy of Big. 

“I’m not, you know.”

“What?” Porsche stops in his tracks in the middle of the hallway and turns to give Big an unimpressed look. “You’re not what?” 

“I’m not homophobic, or whatever.” Big shifts his weight onto one leg and slides his good hand into his pocket, feigning nonchalance, as if this conversation isn’t worse than getting shot. “You misunderstood yesterday.”

Porsche steps into Big’s space and looks directly into Big’s eyes, clearly searching for something, but what exactly that is, Big doesn’t know. What he does know is that the glow of the hallway lights highlight Porsche’s doe-like brown irises and softens the smooth skin of his cheeks. He’s unbearably pretty, and Big wants to punch something. 

“Hmm,” Porsche crosses his arms and tilts his head to the side, “I don’t believe you.”

Big doesn’t know why he does it, but he slams his mouth against Porsche’s in a truly terrible kiss. 

“Did you just try to headbutt me?” Porsche shoves Big’s shoulder, nearly pushing him off-balance at the unexpected move. 

“No!” This time Big does it because he’s angry and has something to prove. Big brings up his right hand and curls his hand viciously across the back of Porsche’s head and pulls their faces together. Porsche opens his mouth to shout or curse or bitch – Big doesn’t care. And he shoves his tongue into Porsche’s mouth and licks away every one of Porsche’s protests. 

When Big feels Porsche’s jaw go slack and the tension in his body release as he leans pliantly against Big’s own, Big eases the kiss and lets the slow glide of their tongues turn into soft presses of lips and stuttered panting. 

With a final nip at Porsche’s lower lip, Big pulls back and gives him a dark look. “That was a kiss.”

As he walks away, Big hears Porsche slump against the wall and mumble, “He’s not the person I kissed at the docks, was he?”

The next time it happens is the day after the auction and Porsche’s subsequent punishment. 

Ken is up and ready to leave the second Porsche makes it to the end of the training room, giving Big a shit-eating grin and a parting “I’ll leave him to you. I’m sick of looking at him, and you owe me one, man,” as he exits the room.

Big sighs and crouches down to untie Porsche’s hands. 

Once his hands are free, Porsche rolls onto his back and stares at the ceiling for a breath before closing his eyes and banging his fists on the floor with a grunt. 

Big sighs again, “This punishment is for your own good. You have to toughen up. We can’t just let anyone guard Khun Kinn.” 

Porsche says nothing. 

Big sighs again and Porsche hears Big’s footsteps as he walks away. After a moment the footsteps return and something small lands on Porsche’s stomach. 

Porsche reaches for it and holds it up above his head, and soon Big’s head comes into view as he leans over Porsche. 

“It’s ointment.” Big gestures to the red abrasions littered across Porsche’s chest. 

Porsche raises an eyebrow. 

Big raises an eyebrow in response. 

Porsche raises his other eyebrow and gestures to his chest.

“Oh, fuck you. I’m not playing nurse. You can put that on yourself.” 

Porsch cracks a small grin and sits up slowly. “Okay. But can you help me with something else?”

“What?”

Porsche reaches up and tugs on Big’s tie, causing him to stumble down onto his knees in front of Porsche. Porsche glances at Big’s lips. 

“I just need to test something.” Porsche makes eye contact with Big and waits while Big takes his turn to drop his gaze down to Porsche’s lips and back up.

They both move forward at the same time, but this kiss is unlike their first. 

It’s less angry and more tentative. Big can feel Porsche trembling but there is no passion to it. He pulls back and takes in Porsche’s lost expression. 

“What are you trying to do?” 

“I don’t know.” 

Big uncurls Porsche’s fingers from where they are clenched around his tie and then stands up. There’s a rustle of clothes and Porsche feels Big’s suit jacket envelope him. “We shouldn’t do this. Not while you’re like this. Go to your room. Put on that ointment and get some rest. We still have to report for duty tomorrow.” 

Porsche watches Big leave and he sits and thinks about a hazy kiss by the docks, an enlightening kiss in a hallway, sitting naked and confused in Kinn’s bed, and sitting here, half-naked on the floor, with Big’s jacket draped around his shoulders and a jar of ointment in his hands.

Sometime after Kinn and Porsche get kidnapped, Big sees the way they look at each other, and he smells Kinn’s cologne on Porsche’s skin, and it doesn’t happen again.

How I feel about this character

agghdhfhhfbghhh I CANNOT SAYY like but suffice to say I love him so much 💗😘💕 he has so many problems and not a single good way of dealing with them, he is fairly quick tempered but manages to hold onto it and seethe in the background until he finally snaps, he is kind of proud and doesn't take shit (unless kinn tells him to 😬) but he has a 'humble' tattoo, he carries two guns, he is the best bodyguard and will put his life on the line for kinn every time, not just to protect kinn's body but also his heart. he wears suspenders. he knows kinn doesn't care about him in the same way but he's so loyal he can't turn away even though it hurts him. he has several unnecessarily but deliciously sexual-tension filled interactions with the theerapanyakul head bodyguard (chan) who he seamlessly helps run training with and looks at like this �� when he is emotionally devastated by kinn's disappearance and chan actually kind of comforts him and says they'll find kinn. he has a mostly wordless relationship with his closest friend (ken) but theyre obviously in sync and judging you together. he will laugh at your misfortune. he has every reason to be the mole and betray kinn but he stays loyal to the end. he has a ponytail and earrings and a little lock of hair delicately resting on his cheek. no one is ever nice to him. i want to bite him so bad and have someone (chan) treat him tenderly for once so he breaks down crying in an embarrassing way because he's not used to it and all the love he's been jealously and painfully holding onto in his heart is finally released and returned. he is forgotten by the narrative immediately after he sacrifices his life for one of the main characters which never fails to piss me tf off because they could have done so much more with it!!! in my mind he's alive idc

that's kind of it 😂 I understand what people like about other pairings for him!! and most of the time I am not too picky about ships and enjoy multiple pairings for characters (as i do for most of kp!) but chan and big got stuck in my heart and mind together and i cant get them apart. they are kind of an old school otp for me 💗

that being said, i love exploring/including the one-sided kinnbig pairing in fics and sometimes other hookups like porschebig when neither of them can fuck who they really want (but tbh only with eventual chanbig 🥺👉👈)

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I think after kens death big might be open to becoming friends with the other bodyguards, especially arm, who is also super competent and easygoing enough to not let the sharper edges of big bother him so much, at which point big would finally relax a little and they could become actual friends. I also think he and Porsche could become worsties to something like friends i mean colleagues 🙄 (if he had survived getting shot for Porsche and in the process gotten over kinn).

My unpopular opinion about this character

apparently liking him is not necessarily the popular choice? idk, I am in the Big-loving part of fandom so I simply do not see the hate for him if it's out there LMAO. he grabbed my heart with his cunty little ponytail and absolute immediate disdain for porsche which is truly so funny to me

also I think people have him and Porsche as primary enemies (which yeah, they dont like each other) but in the show it seemed to me that porsche has a much more physical/antagonistic relationship with ken from the beginning. big is there for sure and his injury does hold him back a bit, but ken is the one porsche first really fights with, physically grapples with, gets called a loser, etc etc. big is actually more controlled sometimes on that front, I think, which is interesting!

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

AHH but no seriously I think he should have lived if just for how guilty he'd (inadvertently) make Porsche and how much he'd hate living with porsche's eventual gratitude because they are NOT friends lmao. also his death had no lasting narrative impact which is usually kind of the point of killing a character.......... *shaking my fist at the writers*

anyway I wish we knew more about him, how he came to work for the Theerapanyakuls, what his family life was like, what kind of casual clothes he wears (!!!!!), why he loves kinn, just anything about him and his past tbh I want ittt

I am so rusty at writing that I hesitate to ever talk about writing things, because I almost never finish them, and even if I did, I'm not sure I would share anything publicly right now lol sob, but I'd still like to try to write something for the KPTS Prompt Fest. So I wish to once again use polls to make my decisions for me! (Thank u all for ur help in the tv poll btw; having a great time w/ Theory of Love & Little Women!) Tl;dr: Help break me out of my decision paralysis and choose one thing for me to focus on writing! (Detailed prompts after the poll)

1. Vegas/Porsche arranged marriage:

Bonus points for Vegas resenting Porsche for being the son his father has always wanted (or in the version where Gun's already dead, for stealing his birthright), and plotting little schemes before their marriage to ruin him and the like, and Porsche disarming him the more they get to know each other. Extra bonus points if Vegas betrays him anyway, just like in canon, but the fondness is still real (for both of them), and makes it hurt more on both sides.

2. Vegas wakes up main family heir: Vegas goes to sleep wishing, not for the first time, that he'd been born to the main family. He wakes up in an alternate universe where his grandfather made Gun the main family heir, not Korn. Gun is not a better father in this timeline. 3. Vegaskinn arranged marriage: Korn strong arms the minor family into a marriage agreement to, he claims, ease the tensions between them, but actually because he would like to collect Vegas and Macau under his roof, like chess pieces or pokemon.

It would be fun if this were set after Vegas's big betrayal, as his punishment, instead of being blacklisted and going to the safehouse, but it can also be something AU/pre-canon. The hilarious idea popped into my head of Korn having already arranged Tankhun/Porsche and Kim/Chay marriages long before he decided Kinn/blood-related nephew should happen. Alternatively, maybe Kim/Chay and Kinn/Porsche as preexisting relationships make Korn confident in his hold on the Kittisawats, and he assumes Kinn/Vegas will be a loveless Emperor/Empress marriage up against Porsche as Kinn's most beloved noble consort. 4. Porsche and Big bodyswap: Cue Big experiencing the exquisite pain of Kinn looking at him with adoration and want, but it's not actually HIM he's looking at, and fighting himself on what to do when Kinn wants to touch him. Cue Porsche having to get along with Ken and pretend he loves doing nothing but shittalking himself all day. Cue Porsche picking up on the fact that Chan is completely gone for him (for Big) after years of Big missing all the signals? Comedy, angst, any ships you want!

5. Tankhun and Kim start hearing each other's thoughts, and can't turn it off. It's actually worse when they're not in the same physical vicinity, they start hearing more of what the other is thinking and worse, so they have to start spending a lot of time together to keep the thoughts calmer and less invasive. This means Kim joining Khun for horror movie night, and yes, he does have to dress up, and Khun joining Kim…on tour? Can he do it? And what do they learn about each other when they are physically separated? What lurks in the deeps of their psychologies?

6. Vegaspete, puppyplay. Vegas makes Pete wear puppy ears and a puppy tail butt plug and bark. Totally up to you if it's noncon at the safehouse or consensual after that.

7. Vegas sex pollens Kinn: Kinn is at a very important professional function surrounded by very important professional contacts when Vegas, who is also at said function, slips a drug with aphrodisiac properties into his food/drink/expensive cologne/whatever. Kinn valiantly tries to maintain his self-control, but he's only human, and before the end of the night someone — or even a team of someones — ends up having to somehow fuck Kinn until he cries while not giving any rival crime families any inkling. (@vegaseatsass note: I would 100% write this as Vegas planning to leave Kinn alone to deal with his situation, hoping he will fail but counting on Kinn superhumanly outlasting the drug, and then getting possessive about it and rushing in to take control the second it looks like Kinn's going to capitulate to unworthy outsiders. Apologies in advance to the anon that I am a Vegaskinn sicko and not a Kinn whump sicko; I hope they get this filled by a gangbang connoisseur!)

8. Vegaspete handcuffed together: Vegas and Pete are kidnapped at the auction. They wake up naked and handcuffed together. Vegas makes the most of it.

The basic starting point I have for them is this: it starts with Big's poor luck, because Kinn keeps assigning Big the duty of standing guard while he and Porsche fuck.

Except, it doesn't start then.

It actually starts when Kinn notices Big’s eyes lingering on Porsche more than usual, and the way he averts his eyes from their PDA. Kinn mentions it to Porsche, who at first is obstinate about it - “what’s his problem?!” - until Kinn just hums thoughtfully and says, “I think he likes you.”

Because, against the arguments of his own brain, Big finds himself thinking about Porsche way too much. It's jealousy, at first, for the way Porsche so easily skirts responsibility with his cocky charm. He has Kinn falling for him in a way that Big obviously could never match up to. But hate is as much of an obsession as love, and Big comes to crave the reactions he gets from Porsche. And the more he watches Porsche... the more he learns about him, his compassion and conviction. His muscles and tattoo. And the more he wants.

It really does circle back to Big's poor luck, because now there are two men he feels attraction for (and lust, and jealousy, and loyalty, and hate, and devotion, and-), and they're in a relationship together. They're his superiors. And at every turn it feels like they keep shoving it in his face because even on his knees, Porsche has ears okay, he can hear a doorknob turning.

So basically, Porsche is driving this ot3, because his older sibling instinct sees a pathetic meowmeow he can adopt in Big, and his newly awakened bi instinct can see a pathetic wet man he can top and tame in Big.

Meanwhie, Kinn has always had a soft spot for Big that he had always labelled a weakness, and so treated him like/accidentally cultivated that pathetic wet man persona. But if Porsche shows him it's okay to want playthings that may become real relationship things because of his, Kinn Theerapanyakul's, big stupid heart, then...

And then pepper this with subtle (or not) bdsm flavouring. And that's it, that's the agenda. Porsche is driving this ship.

ArmTankhun - This is my favourite Khun ship I am ride or die for these bitches. Despite KP having 2 bodyguards in ships they completely missed the dynamic of guard becoming their persons safe place which is the absolute SAUCE. I read a fic implying that in the finalé they didn't see VegasPete on the CCTV because they were fucking in the control room to celebrate blowing up Vegas and his goons and I'm accepting that as canon. They lose a point for wholesomeness and because Arm is too responsible to not use protection. Fuck-Raw Rating: 🔥🔥🔥🔥/5

ChanKim - Hysterical that it's Peter Knight approved I can't believe I missed that 💀 ChanVegas for people who run aesthetic blogs. I mean the age gap and implied teacher/student dynamic is problematic until you figure Kim has all the power which is capital C Compelling. Kim's star student protégé status and barely concealed need for approval meets Chan's sparse, hard earned praise. Sparring and disarming practice to put them in close proximity. Kim being a brat (a la BigKim) but actually getting put in his place. I was gonna give them 4 but I've actually talked myself into it. This slays severely actually. Porsche's fingers graze the skin above his waistband. He gasps quietly.

"I told you it's fine." Porsche murmurs, leaning closer. "Do you trust me?"

Big doesn't answer, but doesn't back away either, only letting out a shaky exhale.

Ahhh it's a toss up between Kim and Chay but I think I mostly just like writing them together -- especially if it's something silly. :')

19. What is one pairing you want to explore next year?

A while back I wrote a little PorscheBig ficlet and that made me want to explore KinnPorscheBig. They have a really interesting dynamic and I have some vague half-formed thoughts about it, but I haven't really solidified any ideas yet hahaha.
