Another nondescript kind of a day, thought Ponder to himself. He sighed and continued to gaze out of the window. He attempted to maintain his position.

Wistful the clock gave a mild murmur of a cough. Ponder did his best to ignore him.

Another sigh fell from Ponder causing his feet to try to shuffle out of its way.

Wistful spoke ... Wistful made clear that all that was needed was the restoration of his hands. Ponder looked anywhere but to his left.

The mantlepiece eased its angle, tilted its occupants' small slice of world and giggled silently as Ponder and Wistful braced themselves one against the other.

Day 3: Farm-life Family

Day three of scarecrow week 👹 There’s nothing I love more than a soft, domestic Crane, especially with animals. I used today’s prompt as an excuse to draw out a story element I want to include in my eventual AU for the rogues.
