A photo with Ash and Goh in the last episode in Pokemon Joutneys. The flowers next to them are called morning glories, and are placed in the same order as the boys.The light blue one simbolyzes Ash, and the pink (=light red) symbolizes Goh.

The morning glory can be symbolic of strength, giving a person the power to realise their hopes and dreams. In the subtle meanings attributed to flowers, a blue morning glory blossom represents affection for another. The pink one represent respect, kindness and soft love.

In many cultures, morning glories are a symbol of love, although the type of love they represent varies depending on the cultural group. In Japan, they are a symbol of innocent love and are often exchanged between young lovers.

I still don't really know if I headcanon Goh being nb/genderqueer, but I like to think he grows up to be comfortable with his androgynous features, and explore a bit his gender expression.

Writing/drawing about him was an important part of self reflection on so many personal things, and while I didn't specifically focus on this for him, Goh happened to be here as I navigated my own Journey with gender.

Of course I don't condone the leaks from some months ago, nonetheless I was still happy to know a few more things about Goh - and how his androgynous looks were supposed to be a bit more of a topic for his character.
