"... Hey."

He isn't sure how he got here. Not sure what he's trying to accomplish. Sure as anything, though- keeping his distance out of hesitation, uncertainty- there's another Blue. Taller. Older. Tired. He stares at the younger boy with an expression that almost seems... Sad.

"Uh... Gods, what do I..."

He rubs the back of his neck, searching for his words.

"I... Heard about you. About this. 'bout what happened. Guess it struck a chord. You're still... young, though- and you've got a good friend up there, it seems."

He glances up at Justine, waving through the screen, before turning his attention back to Pixel.

"I guess I just wanted to... meet ya, y'know? It's not every day you get to see somethin' like your younger- or, older for you- self."

Blue sighs heavily, his expression dropping.

"... I'm sorry about Revvy. I know how hard it is to lose someone you care about so much. For the world to turn against you cus of it. To want to change things so bad, but you're just... powerless. I- I'm glad you've got a real pal, though. I think that... that's somethin' that'll take you far."

Finally, he smiles at the younger boy, eyes lighting up a bit.

"Gods, that's heavy, huh? I guess all to say- I get it, I think. And I'm happy ya got someone there for you. How did you guys become friends? What's the rest of your life been like, uh... Living with her, I guess?"

Blue── Er, well, Pixel, turns around to the source of the voice. He seemed hesitant at first, shoulders rising up to his ears. He never expected another version of himself to visit him, let alone an adult one. He looked so. . . Odd. Pixel couldn't put his finger on it.

As soon as the other greeted Justine though, Pixel felt himself relax more. It seems like this was safe, seeing that the player gave a thumbs up back to Blue.

Pixel listens, thoughts running around, especially when Revvy was mentioned. It's painful to hear his name uttered from someone else, but he can manage it. It's rude to make faces at a guest, so Pixel bites his bottom lip to keep his expression neutral.

“So it's… it's you, right? The um,”

Pixel gestures over to Blue,

“It feels nice that I'm not the only one── I mean! Obviously it's, it's not great but, it's just nice that there's other people like me, I guess? Or are me? This is weird──Not that you're weird!”

He nervously chuckles, he can't help but smile. Taking a step or two closer, the child leans side to side, studying Blue. Super tall, lanky. Pixel wondered if this is what he could have looked like if he were to have grown up someday. Would he have hair like this? Clothes like that?

Would he still have his eye if he didn't…

Ah! A question was directed to him, and he was staring!

“Sorry!”

C'mon, Pix! Be polite! He mumbles, giving out some “um” and “uh” noises as he wiggles his hands,

“It's um, it's nice to see you, first of all sir── sir? I um, I dunno what you call you, sorry── but to answer your question,”

He glanced back at the player, who holds the 3DS patiently. Justine blinks and directs her attention to the bottom screen. Oh whoa, Pixel projected a little drawing down there!

“I wanted to delete my game, and Gramps wanted to also. We talked about it before I talked to Justine about it, but… she really didn't like that idea.

She convinced me that the game doesn't have to be played normally to… function? I think that's the word. But um, yeah. We pretty much talked for a while and it turned into a habit where she'd visit me everyday before she went to school.

She showed me some cool stuff from her world, like other games, some TV shows, and movies. I really um, I really like hanging out with her! She helps me sort out my thoughts about… about the stuff that happened in my game.”

Pixel smiles warmly as he explains. While talking, he lightly rocks on his heels,

“I really am lucky to have someone like her. It makes me sad that some other beings like me and you don't have that kind of a player out there.”

Pixel’s smile alters once he glanced back up to his older self. He gulps, a finger pointing up── no wait, that's rude too. He pulls it back,

“Please let me know if this is rude to ask but um…

Why are your hands . . . Blue?”

I have been drawing so much this week for no reason i can tell, so here's some of the things i have drawn! also its a lot so i am putting the rest under the read more + commentary.

Okay the first Silver of the page was drawn randomly, inspired by fnf Lullaby pretty sure, not much to say.

NOW ELIAS- Honestly i have been obsessed with the guy since i read Your Friend Silver some weeks ago at the dead of night. due to the wifi acting up the first image did not load, now image how freaked out i was and i see that image of Elias when i was just about to go lie down and sleep. honestly i next thing i should draw should be my own designs for him and Max. love those two. Hydrogen Bomb and Coughing Baby duo <3 /j

Honestly? ambivalent towards Journey's End. i like it as a concept, idk its execution. i will keep drawing this guy tho for sure.

POKEMON RUST MY BELOVED!!! I am the only person in the whole world that gives a shit about it i know. honestly its a bad story. like bad to the point i am sure the author became aware of it and just went ham near the end. but there's compelling stuff in it imo, like how Rust interacts with the player. i should make Rust my oc imo /j. also in my au i should totally connect it to Grey's cartridge, i have a vision.

3 and 4 are for Blue Tears. in my opinion its peak pokepasta, being balanced in giving the narrator an actual character and the game itself being intriguing/unsettling.

FOND FORGOTTEN!!!! Its so good!, honestly this is not how i picture John really, but thats okay, i can just draw him again.

Just a test in how i should draw normal Steven, i like giving him curly hair like his dad but i am thinking in giving it less volume next time i try to design him.

I kept seeing some fan artist make corssover art between Zelda and Pokemon and I wnated to play along lol I know these probably arent the ideal pokemon for either Link or Zelda, but I thought it was cute :3

Zelda could be interested in the multiple Eeveevolutions and might want to study Eevee <w< (..before ya'll say anyhting, study him in safe ways HHEUE)

Welcome To The World Of POKéMON!

if not obvious, this is a rp/askblog for the pokepasta Blue Tears , based on the original story and the remake & ROM hack.

this blog will not be art based, but it will contain art if i have time for it. it will be mostly textbox based/ replied will be given in textbox form, and most of the art will likely be official game freak art that was slightly edited if at all. there will also probably be a good deal of narrative replies/writing if i don't have time.

CWS:

on top of the original cws for the original pokepasta ( implied pokemon death, gore, violence/blood, suicide ), this blog will likely also contain mentions of neglect, strong language, and a llloot of nihilism.

INTERP INFO

while sticking as close to canon as i can, in order to make the blog, well, make sense, ill be adding a few details.

similar to @/pokemon-monochrome, the players ( askers ) have found an abandoned gameboy. and, well..you'll figure out the rest in the starter post.

So far, we know that

Blue is self aware

There seems to be some kind of vague difference between "BLUE" , your rival, and "TEARS", the one who kills RED over and over.

At some point, BLUE was forced to face Missingno, which correlated with his gaining awareness.

According to OAK, his parents died in a vicious Pokemon attack. He blames BLUE for this, as his parents had left the young boy at his lab out of worry that he'd get hurt, and had therefore felt more confident in taking a more dangerous trip.

OAK harbors guilt related to aforementioned incident. And on the topic of OAK, he is also self aware—he was from the start.

Seeing other people's versions of Groudon and Kyogre inspired me to try my hand at designing them in my world! Here they are both genuine giants, titans and true aspects of ocean and earth. And, more alarmingly, they never lost their primal forms. They can't ever lose them actually! They're more forces of nature then anything else. It's only in more recent centuries that they've calmed, in a sense. Their powers are controlled, but never diminished.

Groudon towers over 200 meters in height while Kyogre easily stretches to a length of over 400 meters. There are tales that say Groudon's heart beats with the core of the earth, and that Kyogre holds the entire world in it's coils.

These designs are mostly just me messing around and are subject to change in the future, but they were fun to make!

i have been so happy drawing pokepasta stuff, here's some background on these drawings. as always, these are my own reinterpretations of the source material. Long Post!

dude i think about how Disabled and Lost Silver are connected so much, honestly hot take but Lost Silver being connected to Snow on MT Silver is the most boring expansion/connection it has. when Lost Silver already has a sequel, a secret route in the hack rom adaptation and is directly connected to Strangled Red + Disabled. i WILL draw more of them.

Programming bug <3, its a short creepypasta that implies more than it tells and honestly i love that. it should be more popular than it is imo. drawing Baxter was really fun. i should draw more pokemon.

The Stoughton Family,, okay this came to be because i misremembered Mike and Steven having a mom. when i checked and saw they did not have one i decided to come up with my own, and then i thought about who would their dad be, and then i thought about why they were not in the picture. and now i have a whole ball of yarn thats a whole strangled red au. i will totally tell yall more about it when its more concrete but for now, Mom's name is Mallory and Dad's Shepherd.

Blue Tears is such a pokepasta <3, i REALLY enjoyed it and all of the fanworks it is connected to. honestly i gave Blue this design cus i am not that great at drawing creepy faces. so i went for something more odd. i think its like a hole covered in shadow that teeth sometimes appear in alongside a weird black blood ooze.
