Episode 6 of Pokémon: Horizons has no right to get me in the feels as hard as it did. Holy heck. I’m not crying, you are.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

The whole scene where Roy caught Fuecoco had me grinning from ear to ear and trying sooo hard to not cry.

I love seeing the interactions between the Rising Volt Tacklers. I especially everything between Friede, Liko, and Roy. Yes, Friede. You are a father now. 

The scene where Roy was being welcomed and couldn’t figure out the handshake had me dead. 😂

On a related note FOUND FAMILY FOUND FAMILY FOUND FAMILY FOUND FAMILY--

The moment Roy started crying when they were leaving and he was saying bye to everyone gave me so many feelings. I will protect this boi with my life.

Related to this scene, I feel a fic idea coming on.

Oooooooooh Amethio. The moment he punched the wall I knew it was getting serious. I’ve seen some comments in the tags about how he’s reminding some people of Zuko, and I could totally see that. I’m really excited for where his character arc will go. (awkward wave) “Hello. Amethio here.”

So uh… in the brand new episodes of the new pokemon series a new Pokemon was revealed that heavily resembles and implies to be related to a DLC legendary, and like. No one I’ve seen online is talking about it??????

It’s very obviously related in some way to Terapagos (same eye, body, etc shapes and colors), whether it be a pre-evo, form, perceived/hidden identity, WHATEVER it is. I’m so hyped who is this turtle baby….

Apparently in JN132 and MPM08 (aka the last part of Leon vs. Ash battle and the Banette ep), there are random background characters resembling RS!Brendan and Lyra's design.

Pokemon the 2023 anime

Finally after 22 years we're saying goodbye to Ash. Never thought I would see the day. I'm so happy to finally see someone else other than him you cannot imagine my joy. I always wished the anime would do like the Adventures manga did and switch the protagonists every new gen. Ok yes they switched the companions (took a while for some) but still. So I'm all here for the new protagonists, the girl, Liko, was it, is adorable and she has the best paldean starter (in my humble opinion but I'm super biased because I'm a cat person, though I really loathed what final evo they gave Litten but Meowscarada is a solid win in my book, because it looks amazing and simple and no need to start a debate on your like or dislike of the cat starters everyone has their likes and dislikes and I'm not here to hear all about it). I must wonder what professor they will use for the anime, will they go with Sada or will they go with Turo, and will we get a flashback episode of them working on the time machine and getting all the paradox pokemons and stuff because I felt really cheated that Team Star got flashbacks and the professors don't despite the fact that we need to go to them to finish the game. Also wonder if we'll see them dying by the Raidon's claws (that's my morbid curiosity speaking here if you're wondering). I'm kind of hoping the kids will get Paldean pokemons only on their teams.

When Ash became World Champion it broke the curse on the Pokemon Anime Universe that kept it eternally in the same year, freeing the world to proceed forward after all that time, thus leading to the next pokemon series being possible. In this essay I will
