Okay, am I the only one who now wants to see a picture of baby Scootaloo hitching a ride in Nana's pouch?

Whoops my hand slipped again. Nana’s an old and sweet Chanizard, the scars you see on her were the result of abuse before she escaped her previous trainers and took to the streets. She took care of Scoots ever since she was a toddler, but as a result of being raised by a (albeit very intelligent) pokemon until she was around 5, Scoot’s behavior can sometimes be seen as a bit more… well, feral.

So this is also me trying out my brand new tablet (I can now do digital art at home instead of going to school to do it!). It’ll take a little getting used to but so far I think it’s holding up to the good reviews; just like a cintiq but much cheaper. ^.^

Ooooh, I'd love to see more of your poquestria au !! Maybe some nimbasa trio hanging out ? Or pla era poquestria Ingo ? (Random thought I just got but;;; How do Ingo and Emmet conduct trains with hooves ? Do they use their horns ? Or do they have another job ?)

Holy crap you just so many ideas, thank you!!! Well I actually have a few things. But first here is pony nimbasa trio!

Both of the twins are unicorns while Elesa is a pegasus, my pokequestria au is set in gen 4 of mlp so characters interact, and being in this universe pokemon aren't existent but other creatures do.

As someone who is basically a pegasister, (it's a term for a mlp fan), I can tell you exactly how the twins can conduct trains in equestria. Based on lore Unicorns have the gift of magic, and in the show we meet a set of unicorn twins (they end up being antagonists but later seasons they do change) while they use their magic to power their machines. But trains do exist in the mlp universe, powered by engine and pulled by earth pony. I'd like to think that the trains the twins conduct are powered by a spell, or maybe a jolt of magic. So yes, they use their horns, even as ponies they are also still able to do their point and call but I will possibly draw that at another time.

Now for a pokemon legends arceus pony ingo I actually do have a sketch of him.

I have one with the coat and hat and one without.

The one with out I made last night, now circling back to pokemon not existing in this au, I did want to add creatures that could be kinda companions to them. Like how in pla, ingo has Gliscor, who is just a big bat so I gave him a little vampire bat.

The eeveelution idea did give me a few ideas but I'm gonna need some time to work on that until then.

I caved in... I'm making a pokemon au set in the my little pony universe. So I take some characters and turn them into cartoon horses.

So I might be making a mlp au for ponified pokemon characters (not the actual pokemon but the humans) anyway here's some ponified Ingo.

All I did yesterday day was rewatch my little pony friendship is magic, the hyperfixation is strong.

It seems I still got my touch in drawing ponies.

I had an idea for my pokequestria, arceus exists but as a draconiquis like creature. Unlike discord, instead of being the lord of chaos, they are the lord of balance. currently trying to decide what kind features i want.

@empressofsamoyeds actually there is a hisui in the au, and other places but they all have like horse pun names like in the series but yet still a work in progress. Like hisui is hoovsui, yeah theres going to be puns. I had an idea, since the twins have the battle subway still but since now they are ponies, I just been calling it the saddle subway. now how a character can end up in the past or future also ties back to the show. There exists spells and magic that can do that sort of thing. Yet still, everything is a work in progress.

WELP I CAVED. I couldn’t get Spike as a pokemon out of my head so here you go, the start of probably another AU RIP ME. :/

Spike is a hybrid, one parent a charizard and the other a shiny dragonite (dratini and dragonair conveniently are the closest to Spike’s actual colors, hence why he’s a shiny too). As such he’s a very unique pokemon, intelligence rivaling (if not surpassing) that of a human; he’s able to understand languages taught to him and communicates using sign language.

As Twilight’s companion, she treats him like he were a friend or a son, and she never puts him in a pokeball nor has she ever “caught” him, so technically Spike is considered “wild” but he follows Twi out of his own free will.

This image is of Spike very recently hitting the beginnings of his second maturity stage, the charmeleon/dragonair stage, though he’s still pretty small at the moment. He won’t hit his growth spurt until much later, where he’ll end up growing larger than a regular charizard or dragonite.

.....Yep, I’ll probably make this an AU. PokEquestria AU here I come. Listen though, I can’t decide if I should make the ponies/griffons/all that good stuff human, or leave them as is only anthro???? What do you think, ya’ll? O:

PokEquestria AU

greAlllllllllllllllrighty, so here we go with the new PokEquestria AU! The plot at the moment is very basic and rough and it might change up in the future but for now, here we go (NOTE: Pokemon with ???? next to their names mean they don’t have nicknames and suggestions for one is welcome):

Plot:

At Celestia’s insistence, Twilight sets out on a journey to collect as many gym badges as possible before she’s able to take on the Equestrian Elite, But with the slow rise of a new terrorist organization going by the name of “Nightmares” stealing pokemon and assaulting citizens, Twi will find herself teaming up with some of the region’s best to put an end to their organization.

Characters thus far:

-Twilight Sparkle, Celestia’s Protégé and is well known for being an excellent trainer who rarely participates in battles. She’d much rather stay inside and study than actually seek out others to battle pokemon with, but with the rising threat the “Nightmares” are posing she find that she can’t stand idle.

Her Team:  Charmenair (Spike), Lucario (Lucian), Noctowl (Owlowliscious), Alakazam (Starswirl), Scrafty (Smartypants), Delphox (Clover)

-Rarity, Manehatten’s esteemed gym leader and present reigning champion of its beauty contests. Rarity’s popularity as a gym leader stems from not only her being a very formidable foe, but also her secondary business as a fashion designer for both ponies and pokemon.

Her Team:  Perseon (Opalescense), Gardevoir (Pearl), Charizard (Ember), Milotic (Ruby), Aurorus (Aurora), Alolan Ninetails (Diamond)

-Applejack, respected gym leader in the small gym in Ponyville and head farmer to Sweet Apple Acres. Granny Smith is the one who opened the gym, doing helping put Ponyville back on the map when it was threatened with being wiped off the map entirely, and while she sometimes frequents it to battle it out with aspiring trainers it’s Applejack who’s the acting gym leader there now. 

Her Team:  Lycanroc (Winona), Sudowoodo (Bloomburg), Tauros ( Bucky MacGillacuddy), Tropius (Kicks Mcgee), Emboar (Piggington), Sceptile (Leafy)

-Pinkie Pie, traveling entertainer who would much rather put on shows than battle, but she still participates all the same because she very much enjoys battling as much as the next trainer. She’s not quite one to settle down in one place (there’s so much world to see!), but she’s found herself very fond of Ponyville and have even found residence with the kindly Cake family. It’s here that she’s known for her unorthodox training style and legendary parties.

Her Team: Feraligatr (Gummy), Tyrantrum (Fluffy), Tangela (Spaghetti), Popplio (Blueberry), Slurpuff (Cupcake),  Camerupt (Chimichanga)

-Fluttershy, a meek but kindly trainer who doesn’t so much own her own pokemon as she does befriend them. She rarely keep any of her pokemon in their pokeballs unless it’s necessary, and she doesn’t typically engage in battles herself. While battling can be a healthy outlet for pokemon to release stress and energy, Fluttershy fears the potential cruelty battles can inflict upon pokemon who are in the company of a neglectful and abusive trainer (especially since she’s seen it several times first hand), thus she generally dislikes it.

Her Team:  Lopunny (Angel Bunny), Beautifly (Posey), Ursaring (Harry), Serperior (Rupert), Torchic (Elizabeak), Tauchamp (Iron Will) (Tauchamp is a fusion pokemon I made a while back. You can see it HERE)

-Rainbow Dash, an ambitious trainer that has long set out to become not only the country’s next Pokemon Champion, but also to join the Wonderbolts. As such she collects as many badges as she can possibly win, and while the minimum required is eight there is more than 20 gyms in Equestria and only the best can beat all of them AND the Equestrian Elite. Only then will she consider herself a true champion among champions. 

Her Team:  Blastkoal (Tank), Inciniroar (Flash Magnus), Bagon (Daring Do), Pigeot (Wonderbolt), Decidueye (Archy), Noivern (Ahuizotl)

-Celestia, alicorn queen of Equestria and one of the strongest trainers in the country. She is among some of the more unique trainers not because of her alicorn nature but because her Bond Companion is Solgaleo, the guardian of the Sun. Celestia doesn’t commonly battle with her best lineup aside from special occasions (a true threat emerges or she is participating in a event), and as result when she does battle trainers lower than her own skill she uses pokemon she’s only just beginning to train or only one pokemon.

Her Team (best lineup): Ho-Oh (Philomena), Moltres (????), Entei (????), Solrock (????), Espeon (????), Ninetails

-Luna, alicorn princess of Equestria and like her sister, one of the strongest trainers in the country. She’s actually a better pokemon trainer than Celestia is, and despite not having quite as much political authority as her sister in this AU she has more military authority since she essentially leads the Equestrian Army herself (Celestia works most of the politics, Luna works most of the country’s protection and militant readiness). Like Celestia, Luna’s Bond Companion is a guardian pokemon, in her case Lunala. She partakes in more battles than her sister does and often only uses one pokemon, and even then she rarely loses.

Her Team (best lineup): Lugia, Articuno, Umbreon, Suicune, Lunatone, Lycanroc (Midnight form)

-Apple Bloom, young sister to Applejack and Big Mac and an aspiring trainer. She looks up to her elder siblings, Applejack especially, and like her she’d love to be a Gym Leader one day. In fact, Apple Bloom would probably be the Gym’s Junior Leader (I might change this) due to her level of skill as a trainer. Apple Bloom only has a lineup of 3 Pokemon but her Bond Companion is her Eevee.

Her Team: Eevee (Gabby), Tepig (????), Sandile (????)

-Sweetie Belle, young sister to Rarity and an avid pokemon lover. She’s sometimes called a “walking pokedex” by her friends because of her extensive and growing knowledge on just about every known pokemon, and her thirst to learn more about them drives her to a lot of reading and watching pokemon (she’d get along very well with Twily). Aside from learning as much about pokemon as she can she loves to sing and will often rather hanging out or singing with her pokemon over battling them. She’s an okay trainer (enjoys battles but not as much as AB or Scoots) but actually does very well in team battles, where she plays more of a support role than anything else, and she’s just fine with that. Unlike Apple Bloom and Scootaloo she has a team of 4 instead of 3 and her Bond Companion is an Eevee as well.

Her Team: Eevee (????), Floatzel (????), Popplio (????), Clefable (????)

-Scootaloo, orphaned pegasus who lived on the streets before being taken in by the Dash family. Scootaloo was under the protective and gentle care of a stray Chanizard who’s called “Nana” before she was ultimately found by Rainbow Dash herself, and the both of them were taken into the Dash household without much of a hassle. Scoots aspires to be like Rainbow Dash (professional pokemon trainer) and works hard to become a great trainer, although part of it is because she’d like to actually defeat Rainbow Dash in a pokemon battle one day. Her Bond Companion, like Sweetie and Bloom, is an Eevee.

Her Team: Eevee (Dasher), Talonflame (????), Rufflet (Ruffles)
