Shame Lily can't enjoy shiny hunting. Like, it's a labor of love imo. I'm three days into a Giratina hunt and already at 1080 resets and going slightly insane(/lh) but so looking forward to that payoff.
And yo, congrats on getting Lily to say you're plagiarizing her work! Clearly you're doing something right lmao
Bro I salute you on your shiny hunt! I’m still trying to get the swords of justice in shield!
Virizion is like 200+ camp resets now TwT I might try to continue today! I’m determined to get my musketeers!
Also a funny thing about Lily saying that: she wouldn’t be able to know what it’s about because she blocked me on tumblr all the way back in August!
Keep me updated tho when you do catch that giratina tho! Also I wanna know what you plan to nickname it if ya do ^^
In all my time shiny hunting I never tried legendaries or mythicals but man it’ll be worth that labor!
The raikou isn’t mine but a friend I was playing with in pokemon SV union circle. The arcanine is mine tho

i really wish house of büg wasnt deleted bc i distinctly remember calling the whole "pokémon fans are just a different breed of Disney Adult" thing long before i started seeing it everywhere (where before the phenomenon was just chalked up to some generic sperg weebs cringe)
That said, i would STILL get zero credit bc like. I am that.

I’m real sick of Lily’s hollow nothingburger ranting nitpick of a “retrospective” of Pokémon…
So let me sperg about these games in a constructive way that highlights the parts of the game that Lily neglected to mention
This is:
Gobbo’s Semi-Complete Pokémon Retrospective!
I’ve been a fan of Pokémon since I could remember; roughly four years old give or take, my introduction began through the merchandise like cards, toys and book. I wouldn’t start my journey until I was 7 with soul silver with my female chikorita as a starter. I would then go on to play (ordered by region introduction): fire red, ORAS, soul silver & heart gold, platinum/BDSP, white, X&Y, sun & moon (and the ultra games), sword & shield, PLA, and scarlet & violet (including the dlcs and epilogue).
Going forward note that the games that are italicized are the main games I played myself in. Just thought I’d make that clear. So I can’t fully explain some of the games than others but I may mention points others I’ve seen talk about the games say that have provided good insight towards.
Gen 1 & 2
(Grouping these together as I have more to say and knowledge of the gen two game mostly from HGSS)
Gen 1: many peoples first taste and introduction to the world of Pokémon. With a variety of creatures, a straightforward goal and towns and cities to explore Kanto opened the floodgates to what would be a long running series. It started with a premise of catching cool beasts and creatures and traveling the world and fighting an evil organization with the help of your newly acquired friends through strategy and planning you’d prove yourself against the best of the best of trainers and a rivalry that would form into a friendship as they got older. At first, the games only had one option for gender being a boy, you could chose your own name or presets of other options one of which being Red who is a protagonist in the manga, but he’s not ash (as ash would be playable with pokemon Yellow and somewhat in the let’s go games). You also get to name your rival either through the realms of your imagination and witty humor or the presets: this is Blue your rival. (In the anime he would be changed personality wise slightly for American audiences watching the anime, Gary)
I didn’t get far in my first playthrough of FireRed as a kid, I’ll admit. I got stuck in cerulean city and was trying to grind my Pokémon’s levels which took too long. You could probably tell that I had charmander as my starter, well I will flex by saying I had a female charmander first time playing it! So meh! I named her Flare. When it game to this generation there was many things that were cut or added, beta designs, unused mechanics or sprites and even the concept of buying pokemon in the marts which would probably be added via the coin shop of the game place. Of course this is my assumption so feel free to correct me in replies!!
Now I might be biased with what I’m about to talk about with Gen two, but this is my retrospective and I get to do what I want! XD
Gen II: ah Johto my fictional home away from home! I LOVE THESE GAMES! My brother and I would play pokemon as kids and he’d always be ahead of me in the story so I’d have many times where I’d ask him to help me figure something out! Like that god damn stupid farfetch’d quest… grumble grumble… he helped me twice! Soul silver was the first game I played and my starter was a female chikorita whose name sadly escapes me. The last place I left off in that game was cerulean city before my game was unplayable due in part to “kids being dumb” antics (I put a magnet near my ds and we had to ship it to Nintendo to fix it). So I got heart gold and replayed it! This time with another female starter, totodile! Who I named Fergie which is short for fergalicous. The gen two remakes was jam packed with everything from new pokemon, new region, new types, and a sort of epilogue if you will to the previous games through the story of team rocket! Being that after you defeat the boss he vanishes and his grunts are trying everything to contact him. This time you get to be a boy or a girl!
These games added more to the worldbuilding there was in Pokémon with the origin of the legendary beasts who had been resurrected by a much stronger legendary more so than the bird trio of Kanto. This pokemon would make their appearance in the very first episode of the anime, the rainbow bird: Ho-oh.
If I may also sprinkle in my other fixation that is mythology the legendaries of Johto are most definitely based or pull inspiration from the divine beasts of Japanese mythology. It’s no secret that the people at gamefreak value and put in the love and care they hold for culture and upbringing.
This is something that I will make note of for a brief tangent: the fact that in many of the games there’s a special building or place where players can enter to find GameFreak themselves in their office. They have unique dialogue and even reward players with exclusive items or certificates for completing the Pokédex! In the gen two remakes they give you a special item that lets you go back and forth from having the updated soundtrack or the gameboy soundtrack, I personally love the gameboy sound as it wasn’t overstimulating which is just a personal thing not to diminish the ost.
There was many things added to the games such as a day/night cycle and as mentioned earlier, new pokemon types! Steel and dark. Initially they planned to make one eeveelution (fandom term) a poison type later changing it to dark type but forgetting to fix the dex entry, this of course is umbreon! In a leak for the beta sprites there were many designs or complete pokemon who were cut or replaced, an early concept for leafeon was one of these designs that would be brought to gen four!
One misconception of Gen two from what I’ve seen is that Kanto is the postgame, this is false. The real postgame is facing Red who after the first game vanished just like Giovanni. When you travel through Kanto after getting the first eight gym badges you are given bits and pieces of information of this mysterious character who as you progress learn was the previous champion before vanishing. At the top of mount silver he waits for an opponent who can beat him. I’m still grinding to beat him!!! Of course with Maxwell by my side!
Before we wrap up I want to add in a few things the remakes added:
Pokeatholon
Bug catching tournament
Safari zone (where you can design your safari zone which will affect the Pokémon that appear)
Suicune quest
Steven stone
Celebi
Sinjoh
Ruins of alph
Radio
And Voltorb Flip
————————————————
Gen III
The remakes are better I’m sorry ok if you take mega evolution out of the games it’s still cool in how you can ride latias high above Hoenn to move around the region with ease and the approriate more characteristically fitting designs of Maxie and Archie. To sum up in a way to point out how pro-corporate and rainbow capitalist Lily orchard is the whole plot and motive of team magma is literally to make more land for real-estate. Archie just wants Pokémon to have more rule of the world and make a sort of waterworld type landscape. Kyrogre and groudon are based on leviathan and behemoth being two sworn enemies who will bring catastrophic effects should they awaken and fight the other, only when the sky is summoned does the land and sea cease their feud.
The games are cool with having bike mechanics which involve the usage of two types of bikes to traverse different terrain: BMX bby!!!
But contests were introduced too!
The inclusion of a puzzle that requires some knowledge of braille to access the regis was also a fascinating element of these games.
Oh and the fact our trainer has a dad who’s a gym leader was neat too.
Oh and my starter was a male treecko I named Trevor for alpha sapphire.
———————————
Gen IV
I never had diamond or pearl so for a while my own understanding and knowledge came from playing the third game that added onto the story and gameplay of the previous games. I had a female piplup I named Pearl.
Gen four was meant to be the last game installment of the Pokémon series. Given the story and stakes at play with team galactic and their cultish mindset to restart the world by taking control of the embodiments of time space and for platinums sake, antimatter it made sense. But it wouldn’t stay like this given the reception the games had. Like the first two games there were many unique features and even side quests you could take part in!
The under ground
Contests (and poffin making/ball capsules)
Ranmas (I know I spelled it wrong stop!) park (the park with a bias to pokemon based on appearance lol)
Personality ribbons
The old mansion
Gts (with the lil parade thing)
Two new eeveelutions!
And badge cleaning (nothing is more satisfying than cleaning the badges)
So why is platinum better? Let me list it for yall now:
The opening is different where you run into Cyrus first instead of Rowan
Looker
Fatima’s gym challenge was a maze with lights and puzzle solving rather than math equations
More Pokémon
The distortion world
Looker
Battle frontier
AND THE FACT THAT YOU GOT TO HAVE A LUXURY HOME AT THE AGE YOUR TRAINER IS THAT YOU GOT TO DECORATE!!!
Also this was a playground rumor when I was growing up now: if you beat the elite four and league a certain number of times in a row, you would get to meet your trainer character’s dad.
Now did I believe this rumor? Yes.
The answer will shock you!
I also use to and still believe that Looker is the trainers dad and nothing with change that for me!!!
Ok I will have to separate this into two parts! Stay tuned for gen 5–9
Gen 5&6 (next)
Gen 7&8
Gen 9 (coming soon)

If this is true for Lily orchard…
1.
2. It really illustrates the sheer entitlement Lily holds for many things!
Stories
Animation
Relationships
Etc
For Lily, she thinks everything has to meet her right at her own bedroom door not even the front door in the “meeting halfway” phrase.
She basically wants to hit a button and immediately get validation and vindication over whatever she does be it good or bad.
To say she has a god complex would be giving her credit in the worlds she writes.
Lily just has the entitlement of a spoiled brat who was never told no once by her parents- actually you know what! There’s a character in media who is the antithesis of who she is as a person!
youtube
Oh! Forgot this was about Pokémon for a moment oopsydoodle!
3. As someone with a totally normal and healthy love and favoritism towards eevee since I was 3 or 4…
I never found a shiny eevee in the years I’ve played these games. I never gave up and I eventually caught one what has to be almost… 1 or 2 years ago!
The first shiny that I ever caught wasn’t even my target and it being heart gold it wasn’t the gyarados! It was a gligar… I didn’t kill it cause it wasn’t my target I fuckin caught it because it was cool! I tried hunting it in scarlet a decade after that day and I fucking balled my eyes out for thirty minutes-
What was my point… I got distracted sperging about Pokémon memories… ugh right Lily- uhhhh yeah Lily is an entitled brat who most definitely got this upset over not getting something immediately because she thought she didn’t need to work for it.
Because Lily doesn’t know what a real reward feels like.
Rewards are only rewarding after you’ve worked hard to get it!
my lily orchard crackpot theory is that she did try to shiny hunt a ralts at some point, but gave up less then 20 attempts in and got so pissed about not instantly getting it, that she wrote off anything to do with shiny pokemon out of jealousy and frustration
#alternate theory is that she did manage to get a shiny ralts but it was male#lol lmao even#and then not mentioning it after going on a whole rant about shinys is... quite sus#mp.txt#for the ppl with blocked tags ->#lily orchard#lily orchard critical#sillygoblinantics#just goblin things#gonna add on to this theory of yours#got sidetracked with shiny pokemon and#my own hyperfixation of Pokémon#lily can’t Pokémon#borg lettuce the eevee#Youtube

And now the moment you’ve all been waiting for!!!
Gobbo’s Semi-Complete Pokémon Retrospective!!!
Pt. 4 (the finale?)
The reason I’m writing this began when I first watched @agramuglia’s streams watching Lily orchard’s pokemon retrospective on YouTube. Many things I learned about the games and many things stated by Lily I loathed, but Anthony was only able to get up to 8/9 generations. So I thought I’d take it upon myself to power through her gen 9 segment. I lost my mind over it and multiple times did she make uncomfortable innuendos and made points that didn’t make sense. You can read my thoughts on her gen nine segment in my post ““Jock Imoen”” as I will be focusing on everything Lily failed to notice here.
Gen IX
Let’s get this out of the way as I know this is a big part of these games.
The glitches: yes they’re a big and many people find them ridiculously funny or obnoxiously deplorable, but many who don’t know is that they’ve been apart of the franchise for a while and can still be used to the players’ advantage as a quick rich strategy or for silly shenanigans like invisibike (see below image)
But main reason for this as well as the complete exclusion of interiors of homes was due in part to a running problem in both animation and game industry across the globe: rushed deadlines and of course the toxic and deadly Crunchtime. You can find many concepts and fully modeled spaces that we never got to see in the region of Paldea. This also includes Legends Arceus with an early cut intro scene that has our trainer beginning in their room in current day Sinnoh, some data miners (shoutout to y’all working hard and finding this stuff! You’re amazing!) found a completely modeled room that resembled the bedroom from the gen four house!
And I’m aware that there needs to be voice acting but honestly that takes away from the fun of imagining the characters’ voices based on the way they talk in the dialogue! It’s fun and meant to be fun for the children audience!
☆*.。˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚★。˚✧⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚★
The world of Paldea
Region
Paldea is based on Spain but also Portugal (I still somehow struggle spelling this countries name I’m sorry TwT) and the Iberian peninsula! So while incorporating Spanish the game also has Portuguese in it! And because how Spain is geographically next to France, the inclusion to the academy teaching French or in Pokémon terms Kalosian. (Which was our hint for legends ZA and was for two years!!!) it’s a gorgeous region and on point to the real world places and towns they pull from.
Pokémon
We once again get new regional variants of old pokemon but we also get what has to be my favorite addition into the biology and ecology of the pokemon world: convergent evolutions! Pokemon that either evolved from the same ancestor but splitting off around a different point in time or pokemon who evolved in a way to resemble something or another pokemon to stay safe.
Wooper and cloddsire
Toadscool and toadscruel
Wigglett and wugtrio
We also got new evolutions for old pokemon! The gen two normal psychic giraffe: girafarig finally getting an evolution that combines the two heads in a balance union of strength but also astronaut giraffe hehe. We also got the beyond metal and gruesome revenant of an ape, Annihilape the ghost fighting type powerhouse of an evolution of Primape! And the king of the chess board evolution of Bisharp, Kingambit.
In both dlcs we get a new split evolution and third evolution of said split of applin, dipplin and hydrapple. And (forgot the name of the one building dragon)
We also get SO MANY GOOD BOIS IN GEN NINE! But not every good boi 😔… we get three new dog pokemon all good and each unique in their own respected way… I STILL DONT HAVE SHINY GREAVARD YET BUT I GOT THE OTHER TWO— sorry… got side tracked.
Something I will mention is a personal gripe over the exclusion of a specific fruit bearded pokemon from getting a new regional variant, tropius. Who if I had the chance to would make them vary based on where they can be caught by having new fruit or veggie being grown in place of the bananas! Which I did for my pokemon comic with Ripley’s tropius, Dionysus by giving him a beard of grapes! Maybe we’ll get more for tropius in generation 10!
Before I move on I’d like to to go over the game exclusive pokemon, something never mentioned or addressed how to obtain in Lily orchard’s video: let’s get this out of the way now by talking about the two forms of Paldean Tauros. In Scarlet; the past, primal, untamed gives us the fire fighting form of Tauros matching thematically with its game. In Violet; the future, technical and controlled (for the most part) gives us the water fighting form of Tauros (who can swim and his tail acts as a lil rudder to move him x3)
Lily leaves out one of the new pokemon of Paldea too, Charcadet a small fiery in the most literal sense charcoal knight who has game exclusive evolutions. Who need specific pokemon materials to obtain evolutionary items sets of armor. Lily fails to explain this so her audience is left not knowing that ceruledge is exclusive to violet while the psychic/fire evolution Armarouge, so the speculation of how she got it is left in the air and most likely not mentioned because she got it from someone else most likely lolo. So yeah.
☆*.。˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚★。˚✧⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚★
Gimmicks!
I nearly forgot to mention the most impactful connective addition to these games! Union circles! A feature meant to let players connect with friends (given in range without Nintendo online or via the internet with Nintendo online) which allows for many fun shenanigans to take place especially during battles or cutscenes, but is expanded on with the indigo disk via the synchromode which…
☆*.。˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚★。˚✧⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚★
Treasure
The three arc or side plots if we look at them through a tv sitcom or series structure. I’m talking about the ABC Plot system. Where the A plot is the main storyline and B and C follow different stories where by the third act we come together to face or wrap up the stories of B and C. We see this in Arven’s Titan quest, Nemona’s victory road, and Penny’s Starfall mission. Arven is the A plot as we learn that he’s trying to get to area zero to confront his parent(s) and needs two more people to join the journey that fill a specific role which is where Nemona and Penny come in! You will cry if you haven’t played yet so keep that in mind and be sure to take the classes as they provide more context into the layers these characters have! Enjoy this clip btw
Let’s head to the smallest addition and slice into the rural side of the Japanese region of the Pokémon world: Kitikami
☆*.。˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚★。˚✧⁎⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚★
But this sadly or luckily has to be split into another part as I’ve been going on for a while here but I hope you enjoyed it! So the last LAST FINAL part! Will be about the DLCs and epilogue so stay tuned for the intro of the bestest girl that is ogerpon!

This is something that’s been running rampant on my mind for a couple years now so ima share it with yall here since it’s about one of my favorite hyperfixations. So let’s talk about
Pokémon Legends Arceus — misinterpreting art direction
By Bri/gobbo
Pokémon legends arceus or PLA for short, came out two years ago (almost now) of January 2022 to much anticipation of long time fans. Many of which being artists (like me) with a compelling premise and enticing story and worldbuilding the game was a hit if you ignore complaints of non fans and snobs.
So… what’s the deal?
Unfortunately as demand and quota rises the need to produce and release content gets worse and worse for the industry as with harsh deadlines, the long time need for quality is cut off by the need for deadlines. Which is why I am at ease to know that we were given the announcement from gamefreak and the Pokémon company that the next game would take two years instead of the short one year delay for the next installment to the main game or side game lines. But I’m not just saying this to fill this with words, my point is to stress the toxic work environment that many people in the industry go through but given this news is an opportunity to look forward to the wellbeing of both the people behind this franchise and game as well as the attention to detail that goes into each release.
Pt II — graphics
My second and main gripe I’ve held is to the complaints of how the game looks. Which I don’t get, it might be because I had only recently taken art history while in college (which I would highly recommend taking because it will change the way you see the world!) or could be wearing “toxic nostalgic lenses” that cloud judgement. This won’t change the fact that I don’t see any story or visual issues with the *look* of the game.
Backgrounds:
From close observation into the textures of the plants and trees in PLA I could tell off the bat that it was meant to resemble or what I theorize to be based on traditional ink painting or Sumi-e. The distinct weight of the leaves and bark may just be standard textures but through a stringent lense you can see the dilution and bleed of line. A lot of landscapes are often a meditation through each stroke of the brush the piece reveals a serene whimsy view.
The Pokémon
“Oh the pokedex should’ve had more style and traditional pieces!” —a exaggeration and summary of what I’ve heard on YouTube who’ve discussed the visuals of PLA
I think in terms of one of the main missions and plot line of PLA is to create the first pokedex! and for something so important to the safety of humans who are coming to settle in Hisui/Sinnoh they need to have access to a book with images as soon as possible with enough for everyone. It makes sense for the Pokémon to look “flat” as there’s one traditional art form that has made the spread of Japanese art possible; woodblock prints or as it’s called:
“Ukiyo-e”
But outside of the pokedex the models of the pokemon are just as good with the same inky look that the backgrounds and game has already!
Also shiny hunting… but I’m getting ahead of myself!
My point for this is simply to not judge and criticize a work without getting a proper understanding of the culture and art history that might’ve gone into the piece!
And it’s also why I’ve been going absolutely feral for PLZA because WERE GETTING KALOS DURING MY FAVORITE PERIOD OF ART AND WRITING HISTORY!!!!
Romantic period and realism!
Which means…
THE OUTFITS ARE GONNA BE GOOOOOD!!!!!
Also hisuian lilligant is based on a figure skater…

Alright now we can officially begin our Adven-tour into the Gen 9 DLCs!!! Spoilers ahead! I also forgot to mention this but my starter for these games a fuecoco I named Toto and in violet I picked quaxly who I named Andrelpheus!
Gobbo’s Semi-Complete Pokémon Retrospective!!!
Pt. 5 — scarlet & violet electric boogaloo
That’s right we’re covering the DLCs that not only act as “postgame” but expand on the story told in scarlet and violet! There are three parts to the rest of scarlet and violet: the teal mask, indigo disk and mochi mayhem. So let’s get our field trip form signed and head on over to…
The Teal Mask
As part of a school collab program we embark on a trip where we meet the brother and sister polar opposites, Carmine (big sister) and Kieran (little brother). Note: Kieran you could say plays a focal role throughout these DLCs as his character truly comes full circle through how he starts here and ends in the epilogue.
Fun fact: kieran’s battle theme as well as most of the ost of scarlet and violet was composed by the funny dog man that is Toby Fox who masterfully scores emotionally high and moving music that truly parallel the character(s) it’s for.
Kitakami is a region that through some dialogue and context clues via the native pokemon sits not too far from Johto! Both being the rural countryside of Japan.
Depending on when you start the game and dlc the Wild Pokémon’s levels will accommodate for where you are in the story! If you beat SV already the pokemon will range from lvl 40 to 60, but if you just began SV the pokemon will be lvl 5 to 11, but if you beat the game while having entered the dlc early, the Tera pokemon you find in the over world will be the level you start out with. Thought I’d share this! (And for Tera pokemon check my jock imoen video that goes over the fact Nemona teaches you terrastikization before you even get to the academy)
Kieran a shy boy who loves myths and battles takes a liking to you as you treat him like a person and even befriends him and lets you know about his special interest that is the legend of the Ogre that has its own festival to tell the tale of the three heroic Pokémon who gave their lives protecting the village from the ogre.*
Something fun you can do during the festival is partake in the best minigame had in Pokémon: Ogre Oustin’
In this minigame you can play either alone or with friends to pop balloons and gather berries before the timer runs out to advance further to three difficulties: easy, normal and hard. If you are able to complete all ten stages of hard mode you and whoever you’re playing with will be rewarded with a jumbo and crafty marked shiny munchlax! Among other rewards like mochi and battle items! (I have a great strategy that is apparently not original but to me it was because I didn’t know about it before I did a deep dive into it ;-;)
We also get to meet the descendant of a certain clan leader from legends arceus, Pierran the photographer and her hisuian growlithe! We help her in this and the indigo disk with uncovering strange pokemon sightings! In Teal Mask we get blood moon ursaluna! (Don’t worry if you can’t beat it the first time the game will let you try again and even recover so keep that in mind! ^^)
The main plot of the game is that the myth we’re told about the ogre turns out to be a one sided perspective of what actually happened that night. But Kieran learning this having felt obligated in deserving the title and ownership of ogrepon lashes out and holds a resentment especially after you are forced to lie to him about the true story.
˚✧₊⁎ ⁺˳✧༚ ˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚ ⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚ ˚✧₊⁎ ⁺˳✧༚
Indigo Disk
It’s unova time! Welcome to blueberry academy! We are given a recommendation from carmine to come to BBA as an exchange student long after the events of the Teal Mask. It turns out there was an ulterior motive for our invitation involving the sudden shift in Carmines brother, Kieran who has risen above and beyond to the champion status of the blueberry pokemon league club. Every battle at blueberry academy is a double battle so for you smeargle users it’s a good way to get moves filled out!
Also remember Perrin from earlier? She’s back and looking for these strange beasts (paradox forms of the beast trio [scarlet exclusive] and swords of justice [violet exclusive]) that you have to find and can get before beating the league! (See image below)
Ms Briar after you defeat Kieran requests aid in exploring below area zero she is very careless as she pursues her own research in her connection to the first research expedition. (I will make a separate post of my favorite areas of below area zero (oh and be sure to once you obtain teropagos to the crystal pool in kitikami and bring tissues ;3)
Once you make it to the furthest part and heart of area zero you find what is the last of its kind and baby of the Pokémon in heath’s journal. Right as terapagos sees you and makes its way over Kieran out of panic and after what happened with ogrepon, throws a master ball to nab the legendary before we have a chance to respond. To not spoil more of this Kieran realizes his actions and helps us qualm terapagos and lets us catch it. By the end and return to the academy he confronts us and asks if we can be friends again. Leading us to-
˚✧₊⁎ ⁺˳✧༚ ˚✧₊⁎⁺˳✧༚ ⁺˳✧༚˚✧₊⁺˳✧༚ ˚✧₊⁎ ⁺˳✧༚
Epilogue — Mochi Mayhem
The official end of the game. Where we learn who pennys dad is and she calls our mom hot XD
Our friends from the academies finally meet in kitakami where Kieran asks for help with a problem going on in the town.
You have to play it for yourself that’s all I’m saying because it’s good but I will add that the antagonist of this story is a reversal of the classic tale of the boy born in a peach and travels to oni island with his animal companions!
Also it’s evident that Kieran also has a crush on the trainer character via his choice pokemon that he gives you in the coach battles thing after you beat him three times. (Applin)
And with that. We have reached the end of my silly Pokémon sperging! I hope you enjoyed and got to learn a few cool things but ye! I might one day make a video about this but it’s not really my area of YouTube but I can try if yall would like!
And to end with the way the games did here’s celestial

Master post for my semi-complete Pokémon retrospective!
Gen 1-4
Gen 5&6
Gen 7&8
Gen 9
Here we are all finished!!!
Enjoy these screen caps
These are two of many pics from the below area zero map
And a decade after the biggest mistake I made… after two years of endless searching I realized I needed to change up my team to what I remembered having the day I found him the first time and while listening to Spotify I saw him… and for 30 minutes I stared gobsmacked and in disbelief over finding my first shiny it might not be him but I like to think he was released in the wild and went looking for me and finally found me

Anyways I’m probably going to be sharing mostly traditional art and little digital stuff due to “recent events”
rest in piss my sweet, but dastardly bastard of an iPad! They aren’t gone just… won’t let me use any app now for more than 10-30 seconds… the urge and desire to draw in procreate keeps burning my mind even though it won’t work…
I’m not fine… I ain’t holding up well, it’s like checking the fridge for something to eat while fully aware that there isn’t anything to eat inside…
Ima go… do some abdominal workouts to ABBA… it’s Friday:
ABBA-dominal Friday!
Make sure yo unshrimp your posture every once in a while when drawing or doing ya craft folks!

Watched ant’s werewolf video.
youtube
(And the transcript)
I applaud the history and mythology section but there’s never mention of the other werewolves!
And to that
I have to grab the sources, More specifically this!
Welcome to my silly hyperfixation sperg!
I love me some mythology and history of these fantastical creatures. I do enjoy the movie approach and filmography of the werewolf history. (Even though you skipped shapeshifters from ❤️💀🤖) but I wanted to add to the cryptozoological side of it even if I’m a bit amateurish of the study.
Let’s dive in
Though early origins to the term of lycanthropy dating back to Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece via Latin language, humans that transform into dog like hybrids is a universal concept that can be found all over the world from Europe to South Asia!
As was our human way to explain what wasn’t yet known scientifically of modern times, for the civilizations who came before us, strangeness in people from neurological to physical abnormalities were thought to be otherworldly!
A rare mutation but oldest documented instance is when the hair on the body grow longer than what is “normal” leading to top to bottom fully covered in hair people: Hypertrichosis. Which is where the image of transformation came from or at least hypothesized to have been the origins of. Then there’s the actual clinically diagnosis of “clinical lycanthropy” which is when someone who has this believes they are in fact a werewolf.
So with the fun science out of the way! Allow me to list off every lycanthrope from around the world!
In alphabetical order of each name:
Airitech
Folklore of the Goidelic Celts.
Alp
Originating in Germany
Anjing Ajak
Indonesia
Azeman
Suriname folklore
Bal-bal
Philippines
Beast of Gevaudin
(Werehyena) France
Budas
Ancient Abyssinia
Buxenwolf
German folklore
Enkidu
Gilgamesh’s “best friend”
Headless mule
Iberian folklore - Portugal and Spain
Karkanxhol
Kolivilor
Albanian mythology
Kornwolf
Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Poland and Russia
Lobis-Homem
Ancient Portuguese folklore
Lobishomen
(Female vampire witch werewolf) Brazil
Lobison
Argentina
Loup Garou
French origin and Caribbean island folklore
Luison
Paraguayan folklore
Lupo Mannaro
Italian and ancient Roman folklore
Marrock (Marrok the good knight)
Arthurian folklore
Zmag Ognjeni Vuk
Bosnian folklore (fire breathing werewolf)
I need a minute to catch my breath!
Ok!
As you can tell there’s quite a lot but I feel the need to also mention a morally good lycanthrope
Hailing from the Shetland isles of Scotland: the Wulver
They’d watch over flocks and tend to chores and leave behind fish on the windowsills of homes once they’re done helping. It’s said they’d only act in violence if provoked but other than that they were mostly seen as good!
So that’s my lil sperging about werewolf mythology! Good video Anthony!
I’m shook that no one mentioned the werewolves from the Halloween anthology film “Trick or Treat” or “the wolf among us” which was about the big bad wolf being a detective in a modern setting with fairytales and murder! Or the other red riding hood movie! “Red Riding Hood” (2011); with really good color story of mostly black and white scenery and striking red from our leading lady!
Ohmygod I nearly forgot that Pokémon even has a werewolf pokemon!
But ye I don’t have any better way to end this… other than a silly animation >:3c
