Heartless Truth

You’re heartless but often the truth

Is heartless too.

We fell in love in August

And you turned my whole world blue.

When our love was at its hardest

I grew until I flew.

Which probably wasn’t the smartest

Because I flew away from you.

now I can’t fight this feeling,

that it’s my fault you’re leaving

and now I, I don’t know what to do

I never understood love until

the day I met you.
